Because some people prefer controllers. It’s same with me, I don’t do MnK. Tbh my preference would be probably ps4 controller (which has also back button attachments) and in terms of the size of the controller but I play ps5 and ps5 ver of the game so I cannot do that unless I would play ps4 ver 😑. I also like the haptics and adaptive triggers on ps5 controller but it does make my hands cramp quite easily

I don’t really play those (I’ve played apex out of those most, but not really a fan of battle royale) but as for other traditional franchises fps I would prefer controller. Those are not yet made for PlayStation but when it is (valorant has had it in files since ps4 era) I would obviously play it with controller. Same goes for any fps I play, even though some on console have mnk support too.

Yup! Look up Retrode 2 and the n64 adapter. Works super easily. However, both are pretty expensive since they came out years ago, they are no longer actively being made, and they are probably scalped higher due to the pandemic.

There are probably other alternatives but they require a little more work since they don't come ready to use like the Retrode 2 does.

I dumped all of my n64 games this way including doom 64

It's a psychological effect if anything really. if you're not aware that you're playing on 60 you could very well pass it for 120 and placebo will allow for it. But if you're playing on 120 and are actively observant, you will even notice drops to 110 (assuming those are drops caused by and not just your gpu sagging which might cause stutters).

the higher the fps, the more difficult it gets to notice changes, but get your brain adapted to a high fps, and you can notice smaller changes

There's definitely ways to do that though especially if you're using a non Xbox controler with things like gyro aim which is really easy to finely control with steams input software

Gyro is pretty much mouse aim without any friction or mouse pad limits to impede it but gou is right

With enough practice with my own controler I was able to quick flick the stick to whatever target I wanted to shoot
