Rockets aren’t useful for player demons as you have to account for its travel speed

Rockets are really good though on spawned demons

Infinite crucible pick ups spawn, use ‘em on the heavies

If you have BFG going into Phase 2, you can BFG + Crucible a lot of the body parts. Otherwise, best advice would be to hide underneath with crucible equipped waiting for demons to come near so you can get armor (or health if you're at low health) from them.

As sticks said, crucible pickups respawn so you can pretty much hide indefinitely from most attacks from Icon. Obviously be wary but because of infinite crucible, you can even panic swing at a zombie and still be fine for the most part.

I'm good at wasting groups of fodder demons. I invested hard in my grenades early. I would say I struggle most against Cyber Mancubus and Pinkies. I'd rather fight two Icon of Sins than a single Archvile most of the time too. @icy ice

I will give a few pointers that helped me out over time.

After Super Gore Nest is where I start to struggle a lot

Super Gore Nest and Nekravol make me warm and fuzzy inside lol

Replace faster glory kill with Air control. Movement is your number one priority. If you stand still, you will be dead in a few seconds lol

Oh God. Yesterday I got in an encounter that spawned two of them. No extra lives. Just reflexes and ammo and lots of adrenaline. The encounter took almost half an hour from all the dodging I was having to do

Also with Grenades. It can be a huge time sink if you have to wait the entire recharge time. Use the equipment rune to speed up recharge time based on how many enemies are killed with grenades.

That and air control are two runes I always have on. The third varies between Saving Throw (if I am going into an uncertain part of a mission, or doing a UN run), or the increased stagger time rune (very helpful for saving a glory kill for some health for later with heavies & fodder).

Blood punch kills a pinky. It might help to have air control to maneuver out of the way better. If you don't have a blood punch, get behind it and one ssg shot should kill it. Also, frags do a decent amount of damage to them and falters them.

For Pain Elementals, 2 Lock-on bursts, or 1 Lock-on & ssg-balilsta cycle should kill them. However, lock-ons can be annoying since you may accidentally lock on to the fucking lost soul instead

Equipment Fiend or Saving Throw might also be good to have.

+1 to this. Never wait for recharge time for a ssg, ballista, nor precision bolt as those are your best weapons to use for high damage.

I am starting to find pb-ssg more satisfying and slightly faster than ssg-ballista recently. A little more coordination and aiming is required though
