Why do you care so much for health? Keeping your health at 125-150 is easy and availible most of the time, you should be a lot more worried about keeping your armor restacked because of how it prevents you from taking excessive damage.

It isn't, it isn't at all. Simple meathook SSG blasts with equipment fiend recharges your belch swiftly and using belch on a large group of demons nets you 70-120 armor most of the time.

I think that's less it. When the game came out people were used to 2016s ammo which was a huge surplus, but you didn't have reusable chainsaw like Eternal does.

It's a different system and at the time people "complained" that there wasn't enough ammo for weapons. Eventually people figured out "oh you just chainsaw every so often duh" but it was hard for people to unlearn the 2016 habits/muscle memory.

2016 sprint/walk/crouchwalk speeds are 100% identical to eternal's, 2016 just uses different units

there are various psychological aspects (among which is a larger number of narrow spaces) that just makes it feel faster

Since you’re on pc, I’d also recommend learning ballista boosting (shooting a ballista shot behind you)

A passive marauder or DN with a good PE can be annoying.

DN, are pretty harmless just keep track of their berserk and get ready to TP or yeethook yourself across the map.

If they're anything less than full health. Like if you've chipped them down a little, if you're stacked you can basically kill them in 3 seconds.

Combat Analysis:

• The core in its chest rapidly fires projectiles at you with the firing speed of a DOOM 2 Chaingunner and the accuracy of a Possessed Soldier. These shots rapidly chip away at your Chaingun shield should you try using it.
• The core in its chest will project a full-body shield should you attack it with projectile-based weaponry or shotguns. The shield takes a moment to project, allowing for last-second damage.
• The Unmaykr is capable of destroying the shield and overloading the core, making it unable to project future shields.

To specify, the Wraiths have a vague and undecided backstory, but they weren't made by Davoth.
Hugo has alluded that the Wraiths' backstory will tie into the "Lovecraftian elements" he wants to add to the series later on.

If you want my opinion, I personally think Hugo's kinda talking out of his ass there, because I think the Maykrs made the Wraiths, and I think that in itself is a perfectly fine backstory for them.

Elaborating - the Maykrs were tasked by Davoth to find the "answer to immortality". The Codex states they succeeded, but hid the answer from him as he had grown corrupt and insane in his lust to bring immortality to Jekkad. This is when the Father made the decision to seal Davoth inside of Jekkad, and then create the Earthly realms.
The Codex doesn't provide a concrete answer as to what the "answer" was. I personally believe that answer was the Wraiths. The Wraiths are capable of infinitely emitting the Wraithcall, which can spontaneously create life. Wraith Energy can be tampered with and purified to cause immortality, as we saw with Argent. I believe the Maykrs made the Wraiths as the answer, knew that said answer would only cause death, and hid them somewhere within the Father's realms - Argent D'Nur.

But I do believe that Wraith Energy is capable of making humans immortal - it's just, nobody ever figured out how to make it do so, evidenced by the Argenta's failure to escape death.

The natural process of Transfiguration was that a Maykr would degrade and die, its "soul" absorbed into the Maykr Singularity and then reborn as another Maykr. This is how it's supposed to be. But this process was interrupted during the Argenta lore when the Father was stolen from the Luminarium by Samur, as a result of the demons beginning to invade Argent D'Nur.
