Hi, I learned as well about the end of the Bethesda launcher. I am happy to get rid of the launcher, but I happen to have bought eternal and the dlcs both on Bethesda and steam. Will I be able to keep my 2 installations of the game after the migration ?

The saves are supposed to transfer. I guess you could just delete all steam saves before the migration to be sure. About having 2 installations (which is comfy for indev mods), I don’t see how this will still be possible after the migration. I just re-bought the dlcs on steam for nothing :’(

Doom Eternal not going into Exclusive Fullscreen

A restart and verify integrity fixed it the other night but now it's just not working. The console says this when I attempt to enable fullscreen.

SOLUTION FOUND: Use +r_displayrefresh [your Hz] as a Steam Launch option, alternatively use r_displayrefresh [your Hz] in the console command ingame.

I wouldn't recommend using any mods in multiplayer as it could be detected by anti-cheat.
As for singleplayer, you will still receive your XP.

Hello, there is this glitch (I'm not sure if it's because I'm using mods) on Ancient Gods Part 1 where you finish the first level but then when you try to continue to the next one, it just gets stuck at 92% and crashes the game. i installed the game and wanted to run it but first the game told me that there is no hardware, after solving this via a reddit post i disabled the AMD card (didn't even know i had one, cause i have a gtx 1650 ti) then i updated the driver as the game asked me to. the game started and i thought everything is fine, but it started to lag heavily immediately and i don't know why - my desktop resolution suffered from disableing AMD so i enabled it again. i am SO confused cause i NEVER had such problems with other games lmao

Hey, I’ve encountered this strange glitch in Doom Eternal (It’s definitely avoidable but it’s still annoying that it has occurred at all), basically if I die in an Ultra-Nightmare run and go back to the menu and play the Slayer Tutorial, my tutorial becomes and Ultra-Nightmare tutorial where I randomly die (Not sure if this is because of my ultra-nightmare run or if the tutorial is just bugged in general). It may seem silly but then for some reason it deletes ALL of my saves for the campaign which I died in. I first discovered this on my tag 1 campaign and then tested to see if the same thing would happen for my tag 2 saves and it did.

i am trying to get the milestones on doom eternal, and i am missing the "gunpletionist" milestone (all masteries), as well as the "flaming sword" milestone (super shotgun mastery). however, i already have this. the super shotgun mastery was one of the first ones i got because the flaming hook giving armor is incredibly useful. am i missing something? was there a bug in the beginning of the games launch that messed with it? do i need to do an entire new save file of masteries just for the achievement?

• clean installing my graphics driver.

• setting it so my antivirus doesnt clash with the application

• reinstalled the game itself

• verified the games files twice

• turning off RTX

• deleting the game's save states (rip)

I have DOOM Eternal on Game Pass Ultimate, installed on my Windows 10 PC. I just purchased the DOOM Eternal: Year One Pass (PC) addon in the MS store and I can't launch the DLCs (neither ancient gods 1 nor 2). It just says "checking privileges" and takes me to the store page. And the funny thing is, I got two banner notifications about skins and whatnot the ancient gods 1&2 purchases unlocked for me! I tried "resetting to factory settings" from the Xbox app, no change.

I am having a similar problem. I installed Eternal through gamepass. However the Year One Pass can't be purchased through the xbox app. I see it in the Windows Store app but I'm not confident it will work. Have you gotten your DLC to work yet?

1. Start DOOM Eternal
2. Click Ancient Gods Part 1
3. Click "Go now"
4. Wait for the Microsoft Store page to open and click "Install from Xbox app"
5. Repeat steps 2-4 above for part 2
6. Exit DOOM Eternal and let the DLCs install
   Note: I executed steps 1-6 twice, that is - quit DOOM after step 3, installed, then launched it again and did the same for part 2 but I think you can just queue the installations as I outlined above and it should work once you quit the game

The amazing thing is, it only works from the deep link in the game. If you just search for the exact same title (e.g. "DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two (Add On - PC)") in the store it shows as if you don't own it and need to purchase!

So i play doom eternal on a 144hz monitor. My game was running fine when one day, it asked me to install the game. I showed the launcher where to install it (where it was already installed so it just scanned the files) and i played. The thing is it was running on 60hz. If i put my refresh rate back to 144hz in Windows, Doom is just gonna set it back at 60hz. Do someone have a fix ?

hi, does somebody has the same issue? didn't play doom eternal since update 666 v1 on bethesda launcher where settings needed only half a second to open (no matter if in the menu or in some mission), now im playing the update 666 v2 on steam and there is the problem that while in the game menu it takes like 25 seconds to open settings and if i open settings while in the campaign the game doesn't freeze but is stuck forever and the only solution is altf4.

In Doom Eternal, has anyone encountered the following issue when playing World Spear Master Level?

So towards the end, I fought an encounter with whiplash spectres, possessed tyrant, a bunch of random enemies, and then a room with a possessed tyrant (in the normal level, this is where the escalation encounter normally is). During the room with the possessed tyrant, I got a checkpoint mid-battle which was odd. Unfortunately I died and weirdly enough was spawned to the same room without any enemy spawns no matter where I go. In fact, I somehow didn't do this room during the level (I went to it but died and forgot to come back to it). Now when I go forward based on how the level wants me to, there is a spawn that doesn't load which I think is supposed to be a bunch of pinkies or spectres but they don't spawn no matter how long I wait there. Is there anyway around this?

I would really fucking hate to have to start the level over again 5 hours in on my nightmare run 😦

So I have this problem with doom eternal on the PS4 where the right stick drifts to the left on random times (frequently). I tried some other ps4 games with the same controller, and they work fine. Couldn’t find any fixes online. It still happened when I reset my controller and cleaned both sticks.

Alright, so I merged Eternal from my Bethesda launcher to steam. I wanted to play Doom Eternal again yesterday, however I've been stuck at the "Notice Loading" screen right before the main menu for over 3 hours before i decided to quit and reinstall. I'm still at the "Notice Loading" screen even after installing all these GBs.

If I need to wait a few more hours before I can play, that's fine. But I don't want to be waiting 10 hours just to find out the loading screen has been doing nothing. Can someone confirm to me that this is normal to be waiting hours to get to the main menu after the merger?

The “mars core” master level is bugged. Theres a mob fight on a bridge that wont trigger map progression, it stays stuck in combat mode. When i “load checkpoint” the bug disappears and the ‘in combat’ music goes away and triggers the cinematic to the next area. So I got my hands on a 3080ti and wanted to test out the ray tracing in Doom Eternal. Whenever I enable it, it completely freezes the game and all display on my monitors but music keeps playing and other audio like a discord call keeps going. It starts by sending you a link claiming that you sent nasty photos to another person and that they want you to click the link and explain yourself and until then, you are getting blocked, but once you do it hacks your system and sends that exact same link and message to all of your discord friends and blocks them as well

You can only exit when the game says save and exit after a level, you cannot exit at any other point

Hey, so i had Doom Eternal in my Bethesda launcher. After a while i wanted to start playing again and its gone. i cant even transfer it to my steam account. it says that there is nothing to transfer. Support is not answering too.

1. Make sure you have your steam account linked to your bethesda acccount (https://bethesda.net/en/account/linked-accounts)
2. If its already linked and its not working, remove it from your "Linked Accounts" Page and Link it again
3. Go to this site (https://bethesda.net/en/account/transfer-library) and start the transfer progress again

Otherwise you can only wait for the bethesda support (https://help.bethesda.net/#en/home) to answer your ticket.

Sorry to hear that. Keep in mind the Bethesda Support can take a bit of time due to the amount of tickets they receive.
What i can recommend when interacting with the support:

1. Don't open tickets where the only thing you say is: "Yo i got a problem"
2. Provide as many details/information as possible
3. Always stay friendly, i know it sucks if you cant play, and i would be a little annoyed by it too, but always remember, we are all humans at the end of the day and mistakes happen.

That way I'm sure you get your issue resolved quickly. Hope you can RIP & TEAR again soon Slayer!

ok i may be dumb but im having an issue with the hotkeys for wepons

like from my last playthrough i have my keybinds set to like super shotgun first and all the other wepons but i had the combat shotgun last and when i start a new playthrough i have to change the keybind for the combat shotgun to slot one but then when i get more into the game where i have my main guns unlocked i dont wanna set my keybinds again

Hello, I can't seem to get my save files transfered to the steam cloud, after converting my library from bethesda launcher to Steam.

I followed the steps given here https://help.bethesda.net/#en/answer/55671, everything looks like it's working, but it's just not

I tried uploading both zipped, weird-named folder with save files and only the contents of the folder with save files, none of which worked

I get the information "Please wait a few minutes and navigate to Steam https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage to verify your Doom Eternal saved game was moved over.", which means that upload was successful, but no matter what I do, the files on steam's remote storage just don't change

I've been trying for couple of hours to get it working, any help would be appreciated.

Or if there is a way to make the game read save files from my hard drive (as it used to), then that would be even better, since I'm having multiple save files for multiple community mods and constantly switching them in the steam cloud would be a pain in the butt.

I am in another level now (at the end), same bug happens and yes they are glowing in red, very frustrating and of course there is not the mob that spawn them

Well what levels did this occur in?

Because it sounds like there are buff totems nearby, they buff the enemy’s speed and strength and also making them spawn infinitely. (If you need more information about them go into your codex and it will be under demon environmental category.) the way to get rid of them is to find them and glory kill them so demons will stop spawning they will stop getting buffed. And the room will unlock. (Unless if you have to kill the remaining demons)
