Hey people. Those who are having issues with the Maykr skin should know that if you submit a ticket to Bethesda Support, they'll ask you for a receipt that shows you bought the DLC and, if you're able to provide it, will grant you the skin manually. Maybe someone can make a ticket for the Camo Slayer as well? I'm not sure where we are on that.

Whenever i open up doom my resoultion goes way down, ive managed to make it go up buts still not full screen, and i cant change it from windows resolution changer either, everytime i do it reverts, i dont want to play doom eternal that isnt on full screen, not only that it changes the rest of computer to be at a low resolution as well.

downloading a mod for eternal caused my game to freeze on the first frame on startup, the rest of the game is fine, UI and menu work but i cant see anything. its like the frame is covering the rest of the game. I cant even see the steam overlay. uninstalling the mod and verifying the files did nothing. Every now and then when i start it up it works again, but most of the time it doesn't

Doom eternal freezes on after loading on any loading screen for me whenever I project to an external monitor. On my laptop screen works just fine but when I use HDMI out to my external it freezes on every loading screen So fucked I uninstalled. I have an issue in Eternal where when i complete the Arc Complex and unlock fast travel after beating the marauder, when i fast travel i wait a little then get forced to the end of the level like i walked through the portal

Also, my game is stuttering even on Low graphics settings, my rig is a 1060 6GB with a Ryzen 5 1500x and 8GB of RAM

I just booted the game up and even though I have the demonic slayer skin and have always used it it has just disappeared from my collection as if it was never there. There's a weird thing that happens only with doom eternal that when I start the game it changes the refresh rate of the system to 60 Hz, so I have to restart the driver and start the game again to work at 144 Hz. Anyone had a similar issue or know what is going on?

Hello, how are you? So whenever I load up Doom Eternal, it loads, then like 5-10 seconds later it says I have like 1500 FPS.

Let me say what happened first:
• I was playing and i was dropping frames alot, so i heard that if you turn off v-sync, it helps with that. So I went to Apply settings and i accendentially pressed reset defaults. So i went to change my graphic settings to the lowest and put FPS target to max and turned off v-sync.
• I pressed Apply changes and the game went to a black screen and then got the Blue Screen

And everytime I load into doom eternal, it just says 1500 FPS in the steam overlay thing and it's never been that high

I dont want to lose my progress, the game's amazing. If anyone could help, I would be very happy!

I bought doom 2016 recently on steam and the game ran fine I played 11 hours no problem but I updated my nvidia drivers and now the game crashes at launch I reverted the drivers and download the game again but it's still crashing at launch

you may have to uninstall your integrated processor and then restart your computer. then update your drivers again

@split fjord so mine is fixed. I uninstalled my amd vega 10 driver and then re-installed them. rebooted my laptop and things are back to normal with both my vega 10 and gtx 1650 up to date

I like gaming on PC but my issues are primarily with bugs and crashes like this. Never have these issues on consoles. I primarily game on Playstation

I also prefer performance over graphics quality. Of course there needs to be a balance as I dont want potato quality

I play Doom and Doom Eternal on my laptop. Started with SLIGHT hiccups but now am getting buttery smooth performance on both games

Due to space issues and me needing new laptop, I picked up one earlier this year. 6 months in and I dont regret it at all.

I noticed that having latest updated drivers is the best thing to do first if you're getting initial errors

Anyone else have an issue in Doom Eternal where you spawn with low hp, and armor (8 and 6 for me) for anything. I thought it was just the mission that was bugged, since it would do that if I loaded the last checkpoint without dying (it gives me the correct amounts of armor and health if I load it after I die), and it does the same thing if I load up a completely different level, starting me with 8 hp and 6 armor right at the start. Restarting the game does not fix it.

Found a fix,worked for meOpen up your web-browser, go to steam.

Don't log in, find Doom Eternal, add it to cart, click 'purchase for myself'.

It'll prompt you to login now, login.

Once logged in, you'll bypass the greyed out 'purchase for myself' and you'll be able to purchase it.

There will be a warning "you will not receive extra copies of DOOM eternal', ignore it and just proceed with the purchase.

(THIS IS STEAM) Doom Eternal will not boot up. I see the IDtechlauncher in the task bar on the bottom right corner and then it just go's away. My game doesnt even show a black screen or error message but silently closes. Ive tryed reinstalling the game, verifying integrity , unblocking it on my anti virus, turning off my anti virus and the firewall, turning off my internet , installing some DLL files off google , booting the game up in administrator , booting up the game in steam then going to open it again in the files, updating steam. My specs are a RYZEN 7 2700x 16gb ram 3200mhz RTX2070 adn windows 10 with no licence key. In the past I have used a Intel 760 and GT9500 and Gtx 750Ti . There is no evidence for old drivers . I have several bugs currently my first is when I try to go into the arena in the fortress of doom is doesn’t give me the option to open it and it hasn’t since I completed the campaign the next is that I can’t get any mastery levels the third one is i have doom eternal the ancient gods part 1 and I haven’t gotten the maykr slayer skin or the backgrounds for each level and I’ve completed the dlc the last one has to do with my weapons I mastered all of them but I didn’t get a milestone for like half of my arsenal if anyone can help me with these I will be so grateful

@vivid vigil there is only 1 master level and Thats arc complex. You can only access master levels through main menu, the hub is bugged
You can buy master level cultist base for $5 in the rip and tear pack.

The Vulkan has many problems depending on your graphics card. With mine (Geforce 860M GTX) DOOM does not work with Vulkan in any full screen mode. Only in Windowed mode.

I was just watching a livestream of the Super Gore Nest master level and in the sequence after the de-activation of the super gore nest is destroyed, the player got through the first teleporter and was killed by the 2 marauders that spawn there. All that was fine and good but after the player respawned he was in the area where you have to use the 3 keys to reach the 2nd switch needed to de-activate the gore nest except the facility was in lockdown so it softlocked him to where he could not finish the level

I had this issue on Doom Hunter Base when replaying it, and now on the SGN Master Level

Bug is weird, it's like when you die and respawn it copies the world

omg I'm not alone. Any moving prop would be doubled too. Like the video I sent after that one. In SGN, the circular room with the stomping thing in the middle also had two of them.

When i press the skull button it starts flashing like a strobe light

I got softlocked at the end of the master level

I spent 2-3 hours on nightmare on this thing

And now I can’t beat it

When I go back to previous areas demons spawn like I hadn’t been there before???

I know what the problem is

Something is wrong with this level where it thinks that I’m at a certain point of progression when I revisit that location

The only way to quit is when you have the option after a completion

It wasn't a un save it was a campaign save i was playing the master level

I guess the file deletion occurred because I exited on the master level un mode I have no idea

I was playing the super gore nest master level, I played un, got tired and quit to desktop, and then I got back on and my save was gone.
