I know campaign saves don’t transfer but I linked my Bethesda account to my PlayStation and on it it says I’m using the same Bethesda account but I don’t have any of my cosmetics and skins that I go on pc. Will these eventually transfer over or no?

I came here with virtually the same issue, not only for Fallout4 but also ESO, because of this DOOM Eternal, ETERNALLY will not accept & link my Slayers Club credentials in game... After getting the error they essentially say it doesn't matter play anyway, in the screen in game... It bothers me & does matter... I've barely touched Eternal because of this

Also Bethesda forces you to make a Slayers Club Account (not a DOOM account) & does not recognize you may already have other Bethesda game Accounts & Slayers Club more like a Perk Account, which I assume is why you're prompted to sign-up separately to begin with... It all seems odd IMO

Yo I’m trying to play Doom 3 on the PC Game Pass version and it just straight up doesn’t work. When I launch the game, it says “Failed savings settings to Profile.” I thought this was no big deal, I’d just reset the settings if I had to. I tried to start a new campaign, and it gives me a warning: “Insufficient storage available. Free up 1kb.” I can’t save or do anything, rendering the game pointless unless I play it in one sitting. The weird thing is, I played through the whole campaign last week and never had this issue. I’ve tried researching online, but the only thing I can find is that my file directory might contain non-English characters, which mine doesn’t. Can anyone help me?

Tried all the normal verifying game files, reinstall, nvidia drivers update, etc, but now I just tried starting it up without a controller plugged in and it actually got me to the main menu. I don't know why, but previously I had been unable to play Eternal due to the "no physical devices" error. I found a trick that allows it to work with a command line, namely " +r_PhysicalDeviceIndex 1" forcing the game to run on a specified GPU. Today I installed Eternal again with that command line still put in...but however the error has returned which means that it no longer works.

The Rev 2 update may have caused this since the last time I was still able to play Eternal it was still at the first 6.66 update. I don't think I remember updating my graphics card, which has been the same since I first bought the laptop in early 2021.

Hello everyone.
I have a very serious problem and I would like to know if any of you could help me:
Some time ago I bought Doom Eternal, but every time I try to start it something quite strange happens. The game starts normally, the intro of Id software and Bethesda are played on the screen, but when the message "teleporting" appears in the lower left corner, after a while, the game crashes showing a message that it could not allocate enough memory, or that there was an error with the allocation.
Before asking for this help, I had already searched youtube for solutions on how to fix this, such as running the game in windowed mode, running the game in "High Performance", opening it as administrator, closing all windows except the game window, putting it as priority in task manager and increase Windows virtual memory.
I have tried all of the above and the game still suffers from this error, so you would be my last hope to fix this error.
I have 8 GB of RAM, and an intel i3, although from what I've researched the latter is not a problem. That's why it seems strange to me that this happens, but well, I hope that some of you can help me solve this, or simply tell me that it is irreparable and that I need a new PC.

Depending the Ram you need to do an operation that will give you the "Max" in the windows virtual memory.

With 8gb the result is 8192.

I downloaded doom eternal from the xbox app a week ago but i had to delete it. now i wanna redownload it and the xbox app seems to think its already installed even tho its not. now when i try to click the uninstall button from the app nothing happens. I also get a resume download option. If I use that "downloading" appears for a split second but the its back to "resume download". Any fix? I've been at it for hours now.

So I'm confused about the renaming of The Ultimate DOOM to DOOM (1993) on Steam.

DOOM, as released in 1993, has three episodes: "Knee-Deep in the Dead", "The Shores of Hell", and "Inferno".
The Ultimate DOOM, as released in 1995, has the same three episodes, but has an additional fourth episode: "Thy Flesh Consumed".

So what is going on here exactly with the name change? Am I losing the fourth episode that is exclusive to The Ultimate DOOM? Because DOOM as released in 1993 did not have this.

If the version of the game is going to stay the same, renaming it to DOOM (1993) seems to be an error, as it most certainly wouldn't be DOOM (1993) if it includes the episode "Thy Flesh Consumed".

Since doom 2016 is called simply Doom

They have been condensing their games inside of steam for less errors in purchases and a cleaner overall feel.

Clicking play on doom 1993 will ask if you want to play the original doom or the rerelease of doom

I asked this question yesterday in classic Doom chat, didn't notice this channel until now.

My original copy of the Master Levels for Doom II is dead on Steam. The play button has been removed, meanwhile I can still play all of my other old copies of expansions that I bought pre-grouping (so Final Doom still works, Quake mission packs still work, etc.). I'm aware the Master Levels can be accessed through Doom II now but I'm asking about using my old copy like the other expansions.

I had a menu launcher set up for the Master Levels, now I can't use it through my old copy anymore because the play button is gone. Otherwise I'd have to add my Master Level menu launcher as a non-Steam game to play it that way and my original copy would sit there as a dummy. Can you please add the play button back Id?

Hi, Doom2016 issue here. OpenGL does not start in my PC or something like that, as I keep getting the goodol' "FATAL ERROR: wglChoosePixelFormatARB not available". I kinda knew about this issue when I tried to play classic Doom, but didn't pursue it back then. I have created a post in Steam Discussions further detailing my case, but in a nutshell: I tried DDU, uninstalled my driver, reinstalled it, didn't work. My PC has some history of swapping CPUs because of the nasty store with a nasty customer support I bought it from, so I'd bet the issue's around that. I have 24 hours to figure out what to do before I have to refund.

You dont. Doom eternal save data is in the saved games folder, so doom eternal will just use that (at least I assume thats the case)

(SOLVED) Hello! I need help. I bought game today on the Steam. Downloaded it but when I want to play it keeps poping up that there is "graphic driver error". I updated gpu drivers, my windows 10 and checked files integrity but all were fine. I tried disabling integrated gpu and running it on nevidia rtx only but it caused tons of lagging and stuttering on titlescreens. My laptop has two gpus. One integrated, second being rtx 3600. I meed hardware requirements and dont know what i done wrong.

Hi, I have a little problem with Doom Eternal. After completing the campaign and returning to the base, game always displays messages to me about unlocking the Praetor Armor and the Demakyr weapon (Samuel Hayden dialogue). This doesn't affect the gameplay in any way, but is a bit of a pain. This is a rare bug, I only came across one thread on Reddit about it. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Hi! I recently bought Doom 3 on Epic Games. But it won't launch. It opens no windows and shows no error messages. I've already tried some of the recommendations shown on the Epic Games website, like deleting "webcache" folders, running the launcher as an administrator, verifying the game files. No luck so far. Other games like Doom 64 and Tomb Raider GOTY Ed run perfectly.

Today I opened up doom after some days and I instantly noticed that my GPU was making it around 80 FPS very low cuz I have an RTX2080 super and it can run very good Doom eternal before this I can easily reach 150 FPS on this game, but now for something that I can't figure it out I’m restricted to play it with 80 FPS in worse scenarios even 60 FPS. Is someone with the same problem? If yes please help me. I love this game but I can't play it like this (I tried everything to fix it even checked the bios and overclocked the GPU)

Apparently, I just need to drop the texture poll size or something called like that, I short I just lowered the "size" from "Ultra nightmare" to "High" or "Ultra" and then randomly my games were fixed, for a stupid setting that I never changed before

Whenever I launch Doom Eternal from steam, it doesn't detect any input after the start sequence so I can't play. When I try hitting alt+f4 it will close my browser and if I keep spamming the command, the game. This problem may have to do with me alt-tabbing while the game's launching.

I have a samsung chromebook. It wasn't really designed for Gzdoom, and there aren't many tutorials on how to use Gzdoom. I can open Doom 1 and 2, as I already have the base files in the place where they are supposed to go.
I can't figure out how to use the WADS that I have. I put Gzdoom in .config, and it works just fine, but the WADs won't do anything.
I gave up on that, and decided to try using zdl, as it seemed easier and using it would be more simple in the long run. I have the ZDL file with a download of the zdl and a WAD, but I cannot open the zdl. double clicking just downloads another copy, and right-clicking doesn't have an open option.
I'm stuck and really dumb. I am really bad at using the terminal as well, though I had to use it in order to compile Gzdoom. The actual base files work fine, I just can't open any WADs.

I have audio issues and need your help. When i first start playing the audio works fine but once a lot starts to go on my audio breaks. Weapons sounds hit sound etc. make strange noises sound fades in and out etc.

I tried lowering the sound quality to 16 bit 48000 HZ as i read online but it did not fix my issue.
I only have sound issues in DOOM Eternal not in any other game. My audio drivers work and are up to date. Its defiantly some doom related issue but i do not know what i can do to fix it. Please help!

1. We want people to be here for DOOM and not for memes

In the past we had a population of users here which only wanted to throw some random memes into a specific channel. The health of the server suffered greatly from that and that's why we went so strict about it. Be here because you love DOOM and everything that comes with it and make sure there is some context if you post memes.

2. No oversight evolves into bigotry

Despite the fact that we have mods from multiple time zones to ensure this place is safe and enjoyable for everyone, there may be cases when we are not looking at the chat. If left unattended, the memes being posted will start to turn hateful, and it may take a few minutes for the moderation team to react.
We actively work to prevent this from happening.

3. Out of context memes kill conversations

This is by far something a lot of people have been bummed with. Since we got so many channels to pipeline discussions with like-minded people it could turn into a whole other mess if people just post random memes or other forms of content that can derail a whole conversation.

I just bought the doom eternal deluxe edition. It said I needed to redeem it through an asian acc such as singapore, thailand and etc.. Luckily I already had a singapore account to begin with. I redeemed the code, and waited for the update to finish. 3 hours later I was greeted by skins such as the demonic slayer skin and more, the only problem was I didnt have access to the dlc, it said that I needed to PAY for me to play it even tho I already entered the code. I restarted my doom eternal and after that the dlc worked. Played for a bit and logged of for bout 2 hours. Opened my ps4 and when I came back it said that I need to buy the dlc in order to access, I was confused, I had a bethesda acc, I have the skins for the deluxe bundle yet I dont have the 2 dlcs. Does anyone know how to fix the stuttering / lag spike issue? My game isn't exactly lagging (i have somewhere between 70 - 120 frames) but the game has just been stopping from anywhere from a half second to 2. and this has become more frequent. I do know it is not caused by my PC's specs, as it can run much more demanding games without these issues. I have heard of others with similar issues, but have struggled to find a solution that actually works for me. Thanks.
