In Doom TDA Performance DLSS with 4X frame gen on 1600P is surprisingly only very slightly worse looking than DLSS Quality without frame gen

On 1440P DLSS Performance the game is upscaling from 720P tho so it looks kinda ass in comparison to like anything else, but that’s why I’d go with 1600P instead

One part of Eternal's Archvile I'm iffy on is the size. I kinda would want him shorter. I get why he isn't, and making him taller makes him imposing. But I think I prefer the Archvile being like, 8 feet tall, and Eternal's is twice the height of a normal man.

Cacos are already so rare in TDA and there’s not much in the way of aerial threats so that’d be fun. That’s probably the only example. Onslaught of the Damned, for example, doesn’t score any cutscenes in Final Battle. Instead, we get a mix of Rebuild, Colossus Unleashed, Theomachy, The Prince, Blood Spill, and From the Ashes

oh yeah, absolutely. Alex Palma's general design philosophy just has a specific element to it that would make the perfect Slayer suit following Eternal imo. That's not to say that whoever has the opportunity to design it won't do a spectacular job though, the TDA Slayer suit is my favorite by a mile and it was done by Emerson Tung

and I'm unfathomably excited to see what he does for the next Slayer suit, assuming he's still the art director and gets to make it. Some of his TDA Slayer concepts that went unused are incredible

i think the key to making the flail useful is in its speed and shockwave. at least early on so far for max sliders it has been really good when interchanged with the gauntlets and shield dash/charge.. destroys armor and gives armor and applies a shockwave that when used on a crowd becomes very effective

its also refils quickly and executes quickly too

using with the ground fissure too makes it a tool to be reckoned with !

Eh agree to disagree. I wouldn't even say it has to be back-to-back with other entries so Quake can get some breathing room. I would like medieval Doom to be normalized, it is a big part of Doom's world after all.
