Adding to your suggestion, it could have maybe been a better approach to allow us to deactivate Glory Kills in the options rather than create these kinda forgettable unsynced ones. I find myself chassing the animated shield ones more than the unsynced ones so it kinda feels like a downgrade to have the one odd GK over a few per enemy.

The unsynced ones are so yu can turn around while yu hit someone else, they are integral to the gameplay loop. The animated ones were there just because some people really love there glory kills. The top down ones don't dirsupt combat bc they are optional. What I propose won't break the combat flow, and allow variety

I need to say until 6 hours of playing I didn't like TDA, but after this when I stopped trying to dash, double jump, chainsaw use and meat hook - I liked it a lot.

well, nudoom secrets are still miles better than og doom secrets, like you can see the secret items on the map, you just have to find the entrance which is usually nearby

I could do most maps 100% first try, the only secret I remember to give me issues is the one on the Abyssal Forrest where a toy is locked under a cage.

I looked everywhere except behind the window where the breakable cross was...

there was one secret in the later levels where you had to do a fight with your shield running a gear i thought that was a cool idea. i wonder if it will pop up again in the dlc

Despite there being more enemies on screen, I felt there were significantly less heavies/super heavies present during most of the encounters.
I think if id is going to focus on rebalancing some things, the latter 3rd of the game could use a couple more big boys thrown in there.

Though there was concept that looked like a cross between Eternal’s BFG and the final Crossbow design. I liked it a lot. Wish they went for that instead but maybe it took up too much of the screen.

First upgrade: Pincushion and Ricochet - Pincushion is when u shoot an enemy with the shredder enough it applies a pincushion effect. Hit the enemy with shield throw or bash to detonate it and deal damage. Ricochet is when you throw your shield into a heavy and shoot the shield, it damage the heavy extra and the bullets richochet and hit nearby enemies.
The second upgrade increases base fire
The third upgrade makes pincushion and ricochet stronger
