Also used Slayer as a tool on multiple occasions. He took the Demon crucible from us at the end of 2016 and tried to, I dunno, wage war against demons? We saw how it ended for him. He was a dumb lil bitch, that's what he was. And is. Cuz he's still alive. Tho I do not hate him. The Father, on the other hand... I dunno. I never got a bad vibe for him. If I didn't miss much from the codex/lore I think he's genuine. I'd like to keep him in a ball, too and talk to him daily.

Remaking Classic Doom games might divide the fanbase, as it would make Classic Doom games redundant for some, while the others would stick to modding. Classic Doom games are good the way they are, because they are alive. We keep having new wads all the time. And the good ones at that! Not to mention it would be kind of disrespectful? Making 2016/Eternal/TDA was a masterful idea - a reboot-ish thing that connects to the og with respect and yet gives something new. But that's just my opinion.

When I say emotional, I don't mean a soap opera. Everyone around the sentinels are dying, we know that Valens son will die and in turn Valen will slowly crumble, Novik dies, we don't see Thira either, doomslayers dragon may die. The stakes are dire but the problem is, since it's a prequal, we know what happens. So why not invest the plot more in the characters and their development. I'm not asking for a sob fest but if done well it could really enhance the game

Maybe it's just not on their list currently. I played a lot of Quake Live and Champions with one of them. Now we started Deathwing.
The other one just doesn't like "older games" and Eternal looked "too arcadey" for her taste. However she did play SM2 through the campaign and operations grinding... But don't think she's coming back to it.
