Logically he has no real reason to rip the demons apart, here the enemies are seemingly stronger and the game is less "oo you're so strong" so parrying not only makes more sense, but I would argue is even cooler; you have to actually parry THEIR attack, which shows they're strong enough to face off against you on fair ground, which is arguably cooler than just effortlessly ripping apart an enemy while they don't even try to fight back

I can agree parrying is done way more often but glory killing wasn't really the identity of the entire DOOM series, swapping to another system is innovating the series into a direction it never really went into. so I would venture to guess that once it got down to trying to actually implement invasions into Eternal, Id realized it would be a nightmare

also dark souls has organic ways to opt in and out of these features that make it fit perfectly into the game world, there are rewards that help you and everything

Not super knowledgeable on all this stuff but I’m pretty sure an RTX 3050 is below the minimum requirements. If the game is well optimized, which it probably will be since it’s from iD, you’ll probably get decent performance by changing around some settings. Just be weary this game has ray tracing built into it, which might add on a bit of extra strain.

nah they call it “unsynced” glory kills, the getting smacked part was just part of the glory kills. Same end result, but more free. You can mix things up. It’s basically the same but not a locked animation. So glory kills basically are still in the game

people fr been making so many false assumptions after watching half a video instead of actually researching and watching all of them explaining mechanics before complaining
