I’m sure the game will still emphasize weapon swapping, but it’ll probably be more focused on chaining different attacks together with the melee, shield and parrying systems.

Alright I have it figured out. The crucible Samuel had ended up in the head of a giant demon or there’s 2 crucibles. If there’s 2 one of them is davoths, davoths crucible was most likely the one found in eternal. The reason the icon of sin is where it is is because(this is a guess) doom guy will kill it in the dark ages. The time of the rise of the icon is unknown as it was allegedly before doom 2016 and doom 2 before the time lines connected but I wouldn’t be against the idea of the icon in doom 2 just having been created by the dark lord and then being killed before being revived in a way by the betrayer via a mortal vessel. The atlan mech will be damaged in this fight leaving it in the shape it’s in in doom eternal. As for the cyber dragon I have 0 clue where he went but if I had to guess he just kinda separated from doom guy when he was sealed and who knows maybe the cyber dragon is the same dragon that helps doomguy in eternal dlc

you should try to use the combat shotgun, not the base fire, but its mods at least
sticky bombs are great for AoE damage at a small price, and they deal as much damage as a rocket if you headshot with them
full auto's great with its mastery because you can finnish off demons with it for free ammo
