I'm tired of seeing the same animations over and over again, especially for some demons

I don't think we're getting glory kills in the 2016/Eternal sense, when you getta nice kill animation after staggering an enemy, but we're definitely getting meleé stuff. I think the whole thing where the enemies flashed or glowed when staggered was probably a later suit upgrade, lore wise, however I suspect that they'll integrate the new meleé system in a way that's more seamless and organic. One thing that I'd love to see is some time sensitive quicktime events.

I remember I used to like something that said that the hellified areas in the planet are so corrupted that they're not just hellish landscapes, but actually part of Hell. If you keep walking far and deep enough in those areas, you'll eventually just be walking in Hell

It really just depends - Hell absorbs areas via the Hellgrowth but it's unclear if Hell is "stealing" these locations, leaving nothing behind, or if Hell is "expanding" to occupy that space, like a bubble.

Yeah but Sentinel Prime is also inconvenient to go to by foot from where it's built upon. Everything is uneasy terrain, mountains, walls and a hellish landscape. Like I'm sure the Slayer could get through them, but that would alert Deag and give him a looot of time to hide. Teleporting directly into SP is the best choice and it was only possible through an unused portal

Keep in mind this was never cemented in the original games either.

Directly stealing places would be more convenient for Hell, but only possible through super weapons like the Icon, while growing into places and connecting them to Hell is a slower process, but easier and steady. Going by the manual text it's indicated that the cybernetic demons in the classic games are made with native Hell technology.

The Arachnotrons are said to be borne from Spiderdemons, Revenants are humorously stated to be dead demons with a missile launcher slapped onto them.

In Doom 3 cybernetic demons are also Hell-native. They outright have the carcass of a Revenant and the lore text indicates that when they found Revenants in Hell, they already had the missile launchers on them.

The implication, IMO, is that Hell tech is relatively primitive and that demons haven't gotten quite a hang of tech development like humans have, and so you get faulty works like Revenants, whose missiles only hone in on the player half the time, or Spiderdemons who are restricted and not capable of fast movement.
Their decision to utilize UAC tech in the modern games seems to have greatly bolstered the offensive potential of cyborg demons.

Cults die out, technology production stops and only hell scavengers remain to Mad Max the shit out of what remains. So nothing in Hell is standard and that gives way to things like UAC produced Revenants, "native" Revenants made from dead demons, scrap Revenants that use skulls for ammo, advanced Revenants that use plasma, etc, etc. A million different takes on the same creature that birth similar products

But for all their intelligence, the Daleks cannot imagine - they are very intelligent but only within the confines they were bred within.

Hell is like that. There are plenty of intelligent demons. But, most likely, very few of them are creative.

no it does, the priest stated that the aggadon hunters hunted the doom slayer and the night sentineils during the unholy crusades, and were from the telos realm or whatever it was called but they were also found on earth alongside the structures built by the night sentineils on earth. he says this in the cutscene just before the boss fight with him, i've heard some say that they possibly crashed on earth following the night senteneils to earth. I feel like it's against Hell's nature to not corrupt. They corrupted Urdak, their greatest ally, just because they had the chance to do so. Them doing that meant they'd go back to sort of struggle to find realms to expand to, but a hungry animal doesn't consider the consequences of eating their own leg. Well Hell is full of energy like radiation, but magical. It spreads, but can't escape its own dimension until someone from another universe opens a gate into their realm. The relationship they had with the Maykrs was very beneficial for both because Maykrs would hop between universes, open the gates for Hell in a few worlds and then Hell could corrupt anything it touched and eat souls, which would go to Nekravol to be refined and turned into Argent. Whatever waste they don't use, gets thrown into the blood swamps and eventually that energy becomes Hell energy, which makes more demons

Valen used to fight with the Sentinels, but lost his son in the war and made a deal with Hell to bring him back. He betrayed his people and got them killed, and in return Hell brought his son back, but as the Icon of Sin. Valen then betrayed Hell and exiled himself to live in a cave somewhere in the ruins of one of his world's cities that were taken by Hell
