Well all I can say is that I think this next game is gonna be amazing.

the unmaykr is such a weird design choice, make the player do optional encounters specifically for a new weapon but the new weapon is a design contradiction, a weapon with spread but it’s rapid fire, which is the same flaw full auto has and it why nobody uses it even if it did do good damage, also I never saw the point in a weapon designed for singling out one enemy when the crucible already does that, yet again adding weapons that just bloat the arsenal, also when you put it into perspective, since they’re mechanically similar, unmaykr does 600 per shot ( 200 per projectile, 3 projectiles fired per shot ) and full auto does 320 per shot, off memory I want to say unmaykr most definitely has a higher rate of fire, but I don’t think it’s enough to put it out of the same category of obsolescence

Yeah I mean the grenades primary function in Eternal was to falter enemies and it looks like the shield already does that so grenades would be kind of redundant

The shield already seems to be able to clear groups of small enemies like a grenade would so having them wouldn’t add a whole lot

Not as fast paced, of course. But with the right execution the game can be even better than Eternal, in terms of maximizing having fun. I have high hopes, idSoftware is a crazy good company and all their developers are very passionate about their projects, which makes them so good
