yeah, fortnite content can also be released stand alone because of how tightly integrated it has become with the unreal editor in the past years. this content shares server space with the rest of the downloads. so if you count that fact the margin closes. the steam work shop however would widen that gap by far

however its a lot harder to slip malware into a hammer file than it is to your game repo
