These "issues" have been worked around in the past by older games of course. Look at Counter Strike. Look at Max Payne and many others. So the real problem isn't sunsetting of services, it's every goddamn game being a live service

Online-Only games have their advantages and disadvantages. Sure you as a player are only paying a one-time price (outside of added DLC stuff) but the Studio/Publisher is having to continue to pay for the licensing fee's for the real life brands that exist inside the game.

This is actually a really interesting rabbit hole of legality, because technically, anything created by the US government is in the public domain by law, which is part of the reason why it doesn't even make an attempt to own any of the means to produce things it needs for government projects.
If the US Government were the ones to design a tank, then while they absolutely could prosecute anyone who leaks the schematics since that person would be in breach of contracts etc, they would have no legal reprecautions against anyone unrelated to the project who then proceeded to spread the supposed to be confidential information, because they're literally just reproducing and spreading public domain works.
However, if the US Government doesn't actually design anything, if it's some private company that owns all the designs, then not only an initial leaker is disincentivized from sharing government secrets, but anyone else who'd subsequently pass it on because they too are committing a crime (other than the very convoluted to prosecute general concept crime of treason in this case).
Luckily this doesn't lead to said private companies being put into privileged position where they have direct leverage over the entire country and its security.

How did it all turn out, was it good? What did you use for the base of the hotpot?

I make hot pot like this pretty often. My base is chicken bullion powder, bonito powder, crushed garlic cloves and crushed fresh ginger + some rice wine vinegar. I just put the king oyater and shemiji in first, let them stew for a bit, then the wood ear and enoki and cabbage. Its quick, whole thing takes maybe 10min to cook in my little donabe clay pot. I toss in some chili oil after and it's good to go.

It's wonderful work of engineering though, T stacking all those pumps

There's a very specific method to stack the pumps in a way that acts as a support pillar to prevent cave ins. It's an alternating T pump system
