I have a good gameplay concept for Skarlet if she was in MK1: Blood Kurse

A special move that lasts 7 seconds. It increases any of her blood move’s damage but also, adds a meter, that is increased by dealing damage. When full, she can enhance at any point to summon a blood geyser that pops up the opponent, even when on the ground, so she can continue kombos.

The caveat is that she loses a total of 100 health along those 7 seconds, and the effect (with health drain) disappears when she summons the blood geyser.

This adds a sense of risk/reward to her playstyle, losing health for longer kombos.

I think the HP adjustments on kameos is fine, what’s annoying is base character starting with more or less health in general

It doesn’t make sense for Kameos to give extra health, unless they are Kameos that stay on the field for a long time like Jax who can be made to chase the opponent and keep attacking. More than likely he will get slapped off the field, so having extra health to offset that loss is fine.

Why the fuck does Sareena, who TELEPORTS ON AND OFF THE FIELD, give extra health?

The one and only move that she has that leaves her vulnerable is the meter draining circle, but you would only use that when the enemy is in the corner and constantly apply block pressure to them so they can’t do anything about it. Being able to drain meter is far too powerful of a thing, for her to have extra health as insurance in case she gets slapped while doing it, especially considering you aren’t gonna call her out to do it willy-nilly, if anything you’re gonna random sickle throw to do damage and maybe hit a combo, where your enemy is most likely to use their meter on a breaker anyway

Sareena gives a health boost, presumably because she has the one move that keeps her on the field while she drains meter, but that move is too powerful to warrant a health increase, and honestly people would be more inclined to use sickles because 1, damage and combo extensions and 2, having them use breaker consumes all their meter anyway rather than the meter drain which is slow and requires you to be actively pressuring your opponent, to varying results depending on who your main character is, to get results from it

I just wanna express some appreciation for Mileena's Animality.

Just started playing her after maxing out my Ashrah mastery rank, decided to see what her animal would be in her animality.

Nothing could've prepared me for a giant mantis.

I'm a big insect lover, so immediately I recognized she's basically an Orchid Mantis, complete with the mainly pink with green accents color palette and the little "petal" offchutes.

And the actual animation is sweet. The Mantis using it's pincers to lift up the opponent and gobbling them up with an insectoid version of Mileena's crazy mouth?

Chef's kiss. Insane and completely out of left field, but I can't help but love it.

Hey, can someone help me? My MK1 has a problem and I don't know how to solve it. When I installed it for the first time, it was compiling the shaders and such. When it reached 100% and went to the part that said, "Saving shaders to disk", it simply closed. I decided to press skip so it would keep doing it in the background, and even so, when it loaded to 100%, it closed again. When I enter it, it's as if it had loaded normally. It does a quick load and I can play the game. But what really puzzles me is that I can't play online mode because it says I need to finish loading the shaders in the game. I spent hours searching and couldn't find anything related to shaders. The configuration isn't that bad. I have an i5 10400, a 3050 video card, and 16 GB of RAM. Can someone help me with this?
