currently, to resend an embed msg or reaction role msg, u have to remake the entire thing, which is extremely frustrating to do
i propose 2 new sets of buttons (or just 1 of them) to solve this:

1st set: Resend
a simple button that will resend the embed/reaction role msg in the same channel and set everything back up for u

2nd set: Import & Export
2 buttons, an import and an export. export will take all of the embed/reaction role msg data either into a file or into copyable text. the import button will allow that text/file to be imported, using the same data the embed/reaction role msg had (if imported into a different server, the channel and reaction roles parts wouldnt be carried over). this would allow them to be shared, but is a lot more complicated

I gave the new memberships feature a try and it's not a viable option for me as of now, but it's almost there, here's my feedback why.

What I like:
-Design of the page, dark theme
-Being able to bundle multiple discord roles
-Being able to offer discounts on multiple months

What I don't like:
-Not being able to see the member's email, in case you need to contact them
-Not being able to see how many months they purchased so you can keep track of any other extra non-role benefits
-Not having a way to see every active subscription akin to patreon's Relationship Manager
-High mee6 fees, 5% is a lot for what is offered imo, and you have to pay an extra 2% in stripe fees
-Having to use stripe, it's confusing, messy, has high fees, revolut is fast, has no fees
-Messy, confusing payout schedule, every other payment platform offers payment right to your bank in seconds at the click of a button.

Sorry if the feedback seems mean, it's a good idea executed poorly imo, I'd like to have it as another extra payment option, options are always great, but it's just not viable yet, at least for me.

The bot already has a lot of purposes, more then most of the other bots have, BUT; Seeing as I bought the lifetime premium of the bot, it would be awesome if I was able to use MEE6 for absolutely everything, I have a server with nearly 1000 members and basically, the only features I'm missing are-

2. Invite tracking

It would be a good idea if the membership module would allow not only to give roles but to remove them. Imagine to have a discord server where every single role has it’s own permissions and that if you have 2 ranks one higher than the other you will only have the permissions of the rank below. If the membership module would allow to remove roles from a user, if he decided to pay to get a higher role he wouldn’t have 2 of them. This problem could also have an impact on economy, coordinating with other bots and more.

I'd like to post messages with event information. But with time zones it's complicated. Instead of a huge post that lists 10 timezones, I've seen event bots post messages that localize the time. So everybody sees when the event is happening in their own timezone.

My suggestion would be to make it possible to setup a custom command with an embed, that contains a specific tag like {time:5pm UTC} and it would expand that to the local timezone for the user looking at the message? I've seen event bots do that in embeds.

Hello! Would it be possible to eventually ignore channel categories as well for Auto-Moderator ignored lists?

The current implementation in one server I manage is we only allow sending of links to certain channels. We also currently have a ticket bot that auto creates a new channel for each ticket though, and it seems that the MEE6 auto-mod feature covers that as well.

I don't know how popular this suggestion is, but I'm looking for a way to manage roles, you have the reaction roles which is absolutely lovely, but I thought of a more fine grained control of the order of roles on the Discord Server.

I have it set up with many guild leaders that are adding their members to the Discord, and giving them the right roles for it, but as a bi effect, someone keeps reordering the roles, and it does not seem like Discord is logging that event.

If there was some way to add a "master list" of the order, which periodically gets corrected by MEE6, that would be amazing. We already use Mee6 for all other management needs and is really happy with it!

Suggestion regarding the 24/7 music bot feature

Currently, the bot will not continue playing and looping the custom Playlist unless someone is in the channel listening to the music. After a while, the bot will stop playing music. This means that everytime someone enters the channel, you have to type "/play" in order to get the bot to continue playing the music in the que.

My suggestion is that to have the bot continously play the music and loop the Playlist regardless if someone is in the channel or not.
I believe this is a good quality of life feature that would allow server members to simply join and start listening to music right away - similar to a radio station but with a playlist made by server members.
This feature will definitely shine a light on the bot aside from other bots out there.

Update the bot more than twice a year and for actually useful things not stuff like memberships and recordings work on what the community wants most mee6 seems like it’s veering off the course of the reason it started. I don’t wanna look for a new bot but you guys really need to step it up. Being one of the largest if not the largest discord bot I am to say the least disappointed in the developer team/management team in how poorly they update the bot and the frequency of those updates. There is no excuse to why new implementations of new plug ins isn’t done or anything that the community asks. This is unacceptable from a team is large as mee6. This should be possible with kubernets technology. It should be possible to if nothing else, run the application in a kubernets system, and having a command replicate the cote in a cluster. Making it easily scaleable, and have it auto join the server. Here, you can use the firstly installed mee6 bot.

The user, setting this up. Would need to create a naming system, per default, it would be somemthing like this "{user.name}{index}". For the roles, there is no need to generate futher as it could use the mee6 role on the server.

Reason for suggestion: Having a rather large server, will result in the single mee6 user simply wouldn't be enough for such a large scale community.

To monitise it: Have each instance of the bot ( except the original one ), cost a fixed amount per month, and have a scalable solution like " 1-5 bots active " with a pay-as-you-go model, paying only for what is used.

Bonus point: Make it possible to assign to a category, so people with access to the chats in that category are the only once that can use it, the assigned bot will then only be able to be used within set category.

the issue with this is that different servers have different opinions on what counts as a bad word, Whilst the devs could add in a default bad words list (that actually seems like a good idea to me since a lot of ppl probs do have some 'basic' bad words which are the same bot wide) A default bad words list won't meet everyone's use case so being able to add your own is a very useful feature (for most ppl)

I suggest the command !vote-skip be able to work cross channels. You might want to moderate / skip in a private channel without others to see but right now the amount of skips needs to be in the same channel to count.
Reason: It can simply be more diplomatic to lowkey moderate / vote rather than discuss why certain songs might not be quite fitting when some already skipped it. There are situations where you might not neccessarily need or want to remove a song via the dashboard.

Currently the Restricted Channels section only has the option to allow only commands, images, and/or videos. It would be very helpful this were able to be flipped around as in not allowing commands, images, and/or videos to be sent in certain channels.
