If you don’t plan to edit those embeds later (and I mean edit the embed on discord, not edit the preset on dashboard or whatever), you can go with the custom commands thing
But even with the bot you shown, you still have to edit the preset for each new different embed, there’s no magic mind-reader thing

I’m a recent premium subscription holder for MEE6, and I’m interested in the economy portion of the service. I want to be able to reset everyone’s coins once at the end of a contest. The idea being that the top 3 coin holders will get a reward, but when finished I want to reset everyone back to zero so we can all play again. I see that you can remove coins from people individually, so I figured there should be an option to do it for everyone who holds a specific role or even everyone on the server. I posted this in the support channel and was told that I couldn't do this and that I should post this in the #〉suggestions channel.

Can we make this a possibility please? It’s kind of important to be able to do for our server.

For the bad word filter have a premade one and let us choose which bad words are bad and if we were to want a bad word added put another one in the list. I do have experience where people replace characters in a cuss word with a symbol or hide it in a word. or something like that like the s word they replace the i with a exclamation mark. because i know from experience a person can have different variations of a cussword. like spelled differently or anything like that. im not sure how you would fix that.... but i mean its worth a shot suggesting it. or like you guys can make it so if u did decide to do the premade one if we choose the s word to be censored then it includes all those variations aswell or if we think its ok we can go into the word variation settings and remove it. idk i hope this makes a little sense because i know this message is all over the place but hopefully this makes sense

Referring to the economy feature, I need a way to reset all the coin balances for everyone back to zero as needed (not on a per person method).

There are two methods that come to mind:

1. a single button that when pressed the balance is set to zero for every member on the server.
2. when using the command remove coins, rather than only being able to select a member, allow us to select a role so everyone on said role has there coins reset.

I see you're looking to create a verification system, here's what you need to do: Giving and Removing roles

1. You will need 2 roles called "verified" and "not verified" so when people react to the message, they become verified.
You'll need to add the "not verified" role as an auto-role for when people join the server, which you can do in the welcome plugin:

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > permissions >
Deny the read messages permission for the "not verified" role, for each channel so they can't see the channels.
Allow the read messages permission for the "verified" role, for each channel so they are able to see the server.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "not verified" role to read messages here in the channel permissions.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Reaction Roles plugin. :reactionroles:
In the template provided, select the #Verification channel, and edit the reaction message to your liking.

5. Add some reactions for MEE6 to give by selecting an emoji, then click on the + to assign the roles (verified and not verified), also disable the setting "Allow members to pick up multiple roles" then click “Save”
MEE6 should have now posted your reaction message in your verification channel.

6. Finally go to the message and remove the "not verified" reaction by clicking the 3 dots on the message > reactions > click the X on the not verified reaction, to make things look clean

Hello! Not sure if this goes here or another channel.

We have been using mee6 pro for a while and it really is an all-around great bot, plus the newer releases coming out are slick! We did however recently come up with an idea and did not consider the actual logic "needed". With Twitch and YouTube now working with Discord to sync sub roles over from either platform the current mee6 rank system is limited to "Single all or nothing ranking" it would be super cool to see this expanded and logic added "if possible" for mee6 to be able to know if a user is from Twitch or YouTube sub roles defined to the bot.

The idea for this request is so we could still use mee6 as a rank system for T1 - T2 - T3 subs to gain more access over time "adds a little incentive" for subs "Hey you can still get full access just be more involved in the discord or pay for a higher tier to gain a title and unlock all channels.

Would love to explain more if your team is interested in the ideas, we have a full roles chart and all based on how we thought we could do it, but quickly learned "OPPS Mee6 doesn’t know what twitch subs are on the server and can’t only pick on their ranking.

Just a suggestion (don't know already in pending, work in progress or not) but instead of blacklisted roles or channels per command (it's very time taking to manually add channels/roles in blacklist specifically in big guilds where lots of channels there. In my guild of 450k there are so many text channels), we should have whitelist i.e. allowed channels/roles option (like in selected channels/for roles bot will work or allow uses of command only)

I love the timer on Mee6 - but I'd like to be able to set what time it should go off. Since I have a gaming server - we have things like times events on a daily/bi-daily/weekly basis. And having a discord server timer going off, say 10 min before hand, would be perfect! Since I know that time it needs to go off, I'd love to be able to set Mee6 at say... CET+2 11:55 am daily - to remind people that's it's a daily club event ongoing. Even if they know - people forget.
Because a times going off ever 24h - is a bit unpredictable. it doesn't go off exactly at the same time, every day. So it's unusable in asense.

Add a delay of adding level rewards until Membership Screening is completed.

Right now, if a member rejoins a server and they are eligible for a level reward, level rewards automatically gives them the role. This breaks Membership Screening.

Suggestion: Live leaderboard.

(Note, this is far different to any current suggestion). Similar to the Saya bots live leaderboard, where you can setup a message in a channel of your server, and that message updates to reflect the live leaderboard stats, updating every x amounts of periods, such as 10 minutes. This would be beneficial, as it would allow for greater transparency of the hardest working members of your server, sitting nicely in a channel displayed in your server, and is much nicer and convenient than navigating to the dashboard.

I had an idea for a reporting function that could be useful, include a command /report that PM's a link to the person that entered the command, which takes you to a web form which can be customised depending on the servers requirements, like your username, offending username, notes, etc. once completed this would be posted to a channel of your choice i.e. an Admin only channel.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Currently the Restrict by Role only has Allowed roles. I would like to add Banned Roles as an option.

Why: We are manually tracking who our inactive users are, and they are granted an "inactive" role for X amount of time prior to removal from the server.
I would like to have this inactive role Banned for the Live Roles because we don't want to advertise streams for people who are not contributing to the community.

Yeah as a workaround we can set up a role-reaction, and people can grant themselves a role that would let us to utilize the "Allowed Roles" section..... but I would rather our active users not have to do this additional step. Defeats the purpose of how convenient the Live Role is vs the announcement posts.

On Server Management > Moderator > Commands > clear-all-infractions could be two commands for removing infractions of only one person (clear-infraction) and another one to remove the infractions of all server (clear-all-infractions). I suggest that because I don't want to let my moderators to remove all the reports but let them to remove some infractions of members.

Hello, I had an idea. Make a slash command for a 'Timehop' kind of plugin, maybe called Event/Moments plugin? Could be a similar input concept to birthdays.
Type in the slash command like /set-memory year-month-day 'the event or memory you wish to be recalled and its quote/description between these ticks' And it'll be displayed in a designated channel on the Moment's anniversary

Hi there, because of Guidelines and laws i think that this should be a must have!

So a member join a server
then he/she had to accept the serverrules to get first role "verified" for example to see first channels
then he/she can react in another channel to get a role for a game and then he/she will be able to see the channels for the game he/she choose.
if he/she remove the reaction from the accepted rules, all roles have to be removed so he/she can´t see any and write into channels.
if he she accept after rejecting theaccepting he/she will only get the first role verified and had to choose again...

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Recently, I noticed that MEE6 floods my Audit Log, changing the name of a statistics channel every 10 minutes, and each update is the same.
My suggestion is.. well, I guess a small algorithm will clear it a bit.

suggestion 1: please allow "only in this channel" logic for all command related stuff. it's basically the reverse of "banned channels" when editing a command. why? because the current "banned channel" system is extremely cumbersome. example: i only want music related commands to be used in one specific channel. i have to go through all 18 music related commands and edit them one by one and ban all my other 20 server channels. and if i ever add a channel to my server i have to edit all 18 commands again. this is extremely cumbersome and actually makes me not use a lot of command related features because it would be such a hassle every time.

have you tried to enable the music feature (18 commands) and make it so it can be only used on ONE of your 20 channels?
happy clicking your fingers away with the current system. banning all other channels one by one in every single command.
oh and if you add a new channel to your server: go edit every single command again.
an "allow in this channel only" is basic permission stuff. it should have been there since day 1
having to "ban channels" on every single regular or custom command every time you make a small change to your server is extremely annoying

it's so annoying i am not even using the bot to the fullest. i am maybe using 5-10% of what i could. but still paying full premium price

i just asked alime to run a background script to add all of my channels to the banned list for every single command so I can then go through removing the allowed channels

I have suggestion for the birthday feature, at the moment it isn't possible to see a full list of people who are on the birthday list. You can only see the next 10 with a command. But with a server where are more then 100 of people on, that's just a small list. For a community-member 10 is just enough to see, but for me(owner of a server), the admins en the mods it would be great to see the hole birthday list somewhere. I would prefer creating something like the xp leaderborad, but then for a list of birthdays, and with a feature for admins and mods to change or removes things on the list. Or second possible solution, which I personally less prefer, create a command for the admins and mods to see the hole birthday list. Also another nice feature for the online dashboard (don't know if it is possible), is being able for the people the fill in there birthday throughout a link on the dashboard, so that only the admins and mods can see the birthday. But most important is that me, my admins and mods can get acces to a list where we can find all the birthdays and manage team.

to expand on the idea of the birthday list leaderboard; why not make a toggle on the xp leaderboard which lets you choose between showing the xp leaderboard, economy leaderboard and the birthday list

Currently you can either set as slash command and/or change the prefix if you have a premium subscription. So you can have two prefix at most.
