All these suggestions are about the Economy plugin after using it for a few days:

• Make an option for users to send money to other users. I currently have users buy a "stack of coins" (an item) to then send to the other person, and then the other person has to turn it back into separate coins via a moderator.

• Allow an option for selling items back into the shop, for each item you can set what % you get back. For example a chocolate bar is 10 coins, let them sell it for 80% and get 8 coins back. And this might seem stupid but my server has a bitcoin you can buy which changes price to the same as the IRL price, that for example would be 100% given back when sold by a user.

• Let us remove items from the shop without deleting it from the inventory, I made some limited edition "collectibles" which you could only buy on the first day that I enabled the plugin, people bought a bunch and when I removed it, it removed every existence of it, which sucks.

• In the shop make it so we can put the items into categories, so it isn't just a big list of unorganized items.

• A bit of an advanced suggestion, but maybe make it so we can have a channel dedicated to people selling items. Someone could get an item, set the price they want to sell it for, and then maybe an embed comes up in the dedicated "selling" channel, users can then scroll through it and see what they wants to buy, like a marketplace.

That's pretty much everything, sorry if it's a lot 😂

I could save a dozen or so embeds if MEE6 would post the same embed to several channels. Draggable Embed Components
In embeds, you have the option to rearrange some components via dragging. Earlier I was working with a lot of fields. When I highlight a line of text from left-to-right, it highlights the text just fine. But when I try to highlight a line of text right-to-left, MEE6 thinks I'm instead trying to drag the field's position and the field takes a vacation to the bottom of the order. It's excessively annoying when working with beefy embeds. Even though I do like draggable embed particles and it's made embed creation a bit easier, there should be a dedicated area/symbol on the side that the user can mouse over and drag when they want to move a component around, a bit like Discord's Role drag.

Currently the temporary channels disable non-admins from speaking if there is a role required to talk, as the individual member / owner permissions override any server role. We've fixed this by changing the @everyone permissions, but there should be an option to disable the individual permissions being added. "Copy category permissions" should be a straight permission sync.

Not pinging in the reply, but searched back and this was the only reference to offering store items on sale in the economy plugin. I'd also love the ability to set a % sale in the store or even just on a specific item.

Ideally this would add a configurable message to the store to advise something like "24h sale - all items 20% off!" or an indicator next to individual items with a "limited time 50% off!" type message. The current process of individually lowering the price for each item, then raising it again afterwards is a workaround, but that's why the sale suggestion is being made. 🙂

I would like to suggest the ability to set items in the economy store as limited quantities (not just limit how many people can buy, but also limit how many are actually available). For us and I guess for many Discord Channels which are related to specific games, it would be great to not only get informed if a specific streamer goes life, but if a Streamer start to stream a specific game. So, a game can be followed and when someone starts streaming that game (when twitch streams starts which is tagged to that game) then bot post a message.
Nearly the same as the current Twitch Social Connector, but triger when a specific game is streamed and not when a specific streamer starts.

I think that MEE6's levels and economy functionality needs seriously expanding on. They're nice and they help with engagement, but they could be twice as good with some additions. The biggest problem with the economy is that users won't really see much to gain from buying items. I've been trying to think of ways to make items functional but there's not really that much. You can grant a role which allows access to a channel which is cool, but why isn't there much else? Why not granting a permanent XP or economy gain boost with an item purchase? Thus making the item purchase more of a long-term investment.

The majority of items in my shop are entirely cosmetic . There isn't a good way or reason for users to show off their swag. The items are useless so they're just... there. Maybe I'm missing something or haven't thought outside of the box but I really don't see economy doing much of anything to boost engagement at the moment. Sure, having more money allows for some bragging rights but users already get that brag from XP/levels.

tl;dr: Economy's pretty useless currently but shouldn't be with some extra features.

I really like the new custom command design, but it unfortunately made the main message body creation for an embed even worse than it was before. It's more narrow and has less height, to the point that with text input you can't even see the characters remaining, and there's no ability to resize it to give you a better view of what you're typing.

The rest of the redo seems good so far, but this field has been needing attention for a while and now it needs it even more. Would love to see the ability to grab the bottom right corner and drag to resize and have more room to type and see what has been typed.

Request/Suggestion: Increase field size of for entering custom command text.

Issue:
Current box size just went from small, to even smaller in the new command panel interface. Making it extremely hard to type a list of items on PC, and on Mobile, its worst.

Suggested Solution:
Increase the field box size in terms of height; or, allow custom adjustable corner at bottom right; or, have a button to allow expand to larger field box size.

Hope this suggestion/request gets taken into consideration, its a struggle for us who are using this feature whereby we have to constantly update our "custom command list" due to the usage nature of it on a regular daily basis.

Suggestion: Add a "Remove roles when muted" option so that the bot can remove someone's roles when they get muted and add them back once they are unmuted, this would make the muted role so much more effective even with Discord's role priority, since even when people are muted, if they have any role that allows them to talk, the muted role literally does nothing in role restricted channels.

I know nothing about marketing so I probably shouldn't be talking, but I think there may have to be more features that can be used with MEE6 without Premium. A lot of Discord friends complain about MEE6 having too many Premium features and are stepping over to other bots like CarlBot, YAGPDB and/or DynoBot so you may want to make more features available to non-Premium users if this bot wants to keep on being used.

yeah we have it, and tested it. we tend to use the give xp command in the staff bot channel. hence why it would be nice if the bot send a DM to the user to tell them what happened - because they cant normally see it.

SUGGESTION: Reaction System using Channel Permission(s)

As we have seen with MEE6's implementation with temporary channels, how the bot can create a whole channel including an associated text channel and allow users who are only in the voice channel to view it got me thinking about another category: Reaction Roles.

If the bot can update a channel's permissions themselves, what is the point of having an entire role that will really just clutter the server? I don't believe there is any. My suggestion is to build off the Reaction Roles category, renaming it just 'Reactions', and create a reaction system that simply edits a specific channel's permission(s) instead.

How this would work in MEE6's Dashboard: On the plugin page, you would be able to create a reaction message, similar to how you would currently. The difference comes when instead of choosing a role associated with an emoji, it would be a channel. Once a channel is selected, it displays all the Discord permissions you would like to either enable/disable upon a user reacting to the message. Obviously, if a user un-reacts, their permissions would be removed.

TDLR: A reaction feature that uses channel permissions instead of roles, essentially cutting the middle-man out of the picture. This feature would allow individuals to gain access to certain channels just like reaction roles and reduce the build up of roles at the same time!

Why? In my server, we don't use some commands very often, so we don't wnat them to be in the slash command list, but we would still like to have them as reguar !commands instead.

With the custom bot I can remove them manually, but any time mee6 updates them, it re-adds missing ones (and removes my own) which is annoying.

Another suggestion, make use of the permissions options on slash commands to show some commands (especially moderation commands) as being disabled and un-usable if you don't have permission to use them

Leveling is all about roles, and people "grind" levels for roles.
Not everyone has Mee6 premium, and servers without premium won't get the level roles feature.

Hi ! Quick suggestion as i was looking at the help menu. So none of my command have argument and so it show it now show like this. Its just a simple quick cosmetic suggestion but i feel it shouldnt look like that if it doesnt have argument.

Hi! I think a good feature would be to have an option to edit warn messages and dm messages for if a user was warned. If a user were to be warned, you can edit what mee6 would say in both the server and DMS when the warn is issued automatically. This way the user knows why they were warned and what would happen if they did it again.

This way instead of mee6 simply saying (User was warned for [reason]) it could elaborate more on why they were warned, and what would happen if they did it again.

What I am basically saying is, we should have the option to edit warn messages.

I'd like to suggest that you guys actually make economy more free and actually make MEE6 more open. All of the useful stuff is premium and its too much. I could have used economy for people to purchase special things in my server until I saw it was all premium. Why is every useful thing premium? All of the rewards i could use to reward my server members is premium. Like give xp. If you guys make economy free, may I also suggest that you add an xp reward to the shop. A person buys the xp and it gets added to their xp level

My point is make the bot more fun and take away some of the premium features and make it free!
This is seriously too much. All of the useful stuff is premium premium premium everywhere! It's so annoying and I wish the bot was more free! Especially economy! Please make the bot more usable!

I know it might be a PITA, and is fairly niche, but a number who roleplay use MME6. Being able to track birthdays for both the player AND the OC (original character) would be a beautiful touch. Maybe something for arbitrary dates that could be used for other things like guild anniversary, etc?

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.
