MEE6 always interrupts the flow of the conversation when someone levels up inside a chat. Since you refuse to course correct on this annoyance, I would at least like leveling messages to be opted out for all servers on the user level. Does that sound like a compromise?

For reference, other leveling bots usually send level-up messages privately. This is a much better solution, because 1) it doesn't interrupt the flow of the conversation, and 2) if someone wants to opt out, blocking the bot will prevent the messages from being sent at all.

Hi there, I am an admin in a medium sized arma-3 clan, we are using mee6 now for a while and upgraded last year to the premiumversion of mee6 to get all functions and minimize the bots on our server.
In the last few admin-meetings we had the wish for some poll options. There is no need for an elaborate system, but we would like to suggest a command or feature on the webinterface to create a poll and decide if voting is anonymous or public.
A cherry on top would be the option to exclude specific roles in the poll and set a time limit, with the announcement of the results automatically.

Verification system using Reaction Roles [1]
I see you're looking to create a verification system, here's what you need to do: Giving and Removing roles

1. You will need 2 roles called "verified" and "not verified" so when people react to the message, they become verified.
You'll need to add the "not verified" role as an auto-role for when people join the server, which you can do in the welcome plugin:

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > permissions >
Deny the read messages permission for the "not verified" role, for each channel so they can't see the channels.
Allow the read messages permission for the "verified" role, for each channel so they are able to see the server.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "not verified" role to read messages here in the channel permissions.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Reaction Roles plugin.
In the template provided, select the #Verification channel, and edit the reaction message to your liking.

5. Add some reactions for MEE6 to give by selecting an emoji, then click on the + to assign the roles (verified and not verified), also disable the setting "Allow members to pick up multiple roles" then click “Save”
MEE6 should have now posted your reaction message in your verification channel.

6. Finally go to the message and remove the "not verified" reaction by clicking the 3 dots on the message > reactions > click the X on the not verified reaction, to make things look clean

__Suggestion: __ Allow the bot to recognize the __*beginning of a custom command *__and have it perform the actions set. As of right now if I had a custom command where people submit multiple links and information in a new line to make it easier to read - rather than it being stacked in single sentence line alongside the command- the custom command would not be recognized and mee6 doesn't perform any actions that I had set.

My current work around is having dyno auto responding to when someone uses the command, "If you got the confirmation it worked!" Which is the only solution I have. You can only imagine how confusing this can be for users when they get this autoresponce AND have it confirmed.
**Considered option: **I could also say instead, "make sure to use it in one line!" But besides it being harder for me to read, it also doesn't work if the user messes up the first time and there is a user cooldown attached to the command. (Of course so that they don't spam the command.)

Mee6 Music: Enable adding Spotify playlist links to add a lot of music at the same time.

Enable adding Spotify playlists to the music bot like other bots do. This is a very convenient way to add bunch of music at the same time and a lot of people use Spotify. I've tried to make the switch over to Mee6 music since I bought premium because I like the interface on the website, but I keep going back to the other bots when it comes to music due to it not handling Spotify playlists.

How I believe the other bots do it is: They take the names of the Spotify titles and search them on Youtube, then add it to the playlist. I have found this out by doing various tests, like comparing song lengths, which often do not match and with song differences, sometimes remixes comes into the mix. But still, its a very convenient way to add a lot of music very quickly.

Hey MEE6! So I'm working on a system for my server that I would love if MEE6 supported. I would really like to reward members with roles based on how long they've been Boosting and how many Boosts they have active. That would be phenomenal!

For example, if I create the #Supporter, #Super Supporter, and #Mega Supporter roles, I'd want them to be able to automatically earn those roles by Boosting! Ideally, they'd be based on how many monthly boosts they've contributed, so they could earn it slowly or quickly - up to them!

As an example, I could set it up like this:

• #Supporter: 1 month (So their first Boost gets them this)
• #Super Supporter: 12 months (so if they Boost once a month for twelve months or twelve times in 1 month, they'll get it!
• #Mega Supporter: 60 months (Again, once a month for 60 months, three boosts every month for 20 months, etc.)

Use Case: If a server is setup in a way where trusted users are given a role which provides access to numerous features such as uploading media, external emojis, etc. and the user is punished for uploading bad media. The user could be given a punishment role which only restricts uploading media but they can still post links which don't embed. Sometimes (when someone gets a warn), @fringe verge replies to a user's DM with their infraction reason.

However, these messages could get kind of rude (for example with too much caps).

The robot perhaps may answer in a decent manner, but maybe with emphasis on some words and even different emojis.

It would also be great if the command showed a little preview of the last x deleted msgs (where x is default 10 but could maybe be changed by bot masters if they want to) or shows how many msgs were deleted per user. It could look something like this:

Being prejudice against lower level players from moving servers this makes me feel like your being unfair or you dislike lower level players from transferring and that you are directing me as an individual as not being worthy of a transfer but yet you allow us to spend aka 1200 gems or 15000 points to buy them. As a human being we all have feeling on why we need to or want to move servers. Aka. BEING BULLIED. Or just inactivity from players as they just see how ridiculous the game has become with having to spend everyday. Create a separate automod for gif links. In my server if I add gif links like tenor and giphy to the allowed websites of the link automod then my members can spam as many gifs as they like and i have no way to moderate it howver if i remove giphy and tenor from the allowed websites then none of my members can send gifs which puts me in a weird situation and so i'd find it really helpful if there was a separate section of the automod dedicated to gifs so that i can still allow users to sned gifs whilst also moderating their use of gifs to 1 gif per 5 - 10 mins so that my membees dont spam out a whole conversation using gifs

Can there be more customizable features added to editing a rank card for premium/pro? At the moment, we can only change one color, the background image, and then the background that changes has an opacity level change (not sure what that would be called). I was editing a rank card for a server, and I realized being able to change the colors of some of the fonts to match better with backgrounds or even being able to change the background opacity one from black to a different color would be a fun option. Make it more customizable and give more features for premium and pro too.

My suggestion would be to include an option in the command to specify arguments and to allow a way to check to see if the command was properly implemented.

For example: !report {user} {1...}

This command would recognize the user argument and would thus recognize if a valid user ID was being passed. The command could then spit a return message ("No valid user entered") if there is no valid user.

I feel this would help make custom commands a bit more functional.

I was delighted when mee6 added an economy plugin. Went ahead and purchased the lifetime premium plan right ahead, because it made the bot so complete. But my server members and myself included, think that the economy plugin should have more functionality. Such as,

1. Commands to earn currency by farming, fishing, hunting, explore, etc. - where the selling price of the produce is managed by the server admins.
2. Add a bank to which money can be deposited or withdrawn. If the money is not in the bank, allow other members to steal.
3. Certain items which can be bought and used for various effects - increase XP rate for a limited time, stop others from stealing you for a limited time.
4. Spontaneous events through which currency can be earned.
5. Own pets (not the usual dogs and cats) and train them.
6. Buy and sell stocks or crypto!
7. Mini-games for some commands.

My thoughts are obviously inspired by bots such as Dank Memer, Purity, Lootcord, etc. But obviously a server side economy with functionality such as this would be so cool!

I have some ideas to make ECONOMY better.

1️⃣ Allow people to buy multiple items at once
2️⃣ We need a confirmation when buying items. Configurable in Dashboard. Like always ask, ask if the price is above certain amount or when it's about to buy multiple items. Two of the latter would be independent together, so You can set one of them or both.
3️⃣ Also, why there are two different messages from the bot when using an item?

CUSTOM COMMANDS

4️⃣ Allow to use docked arguments in custom command builder. What I mean is for example {user.mention} got {random:1:{1:6}}!. Right now it says @Kitsune got {random:1:6}! instead of using the number You put or 6 if not specified. And I want an !d {number} command that would chose random number between either 1 and 6 if argument is not specified or 1 and the number specified with the argument. Unfortunately this doesn't work like that.
5️⃣ Let us specify chance or weight of random reply. It would be useful for next idea.
6️⃣ Let us pay in currency or use item to use specific commands. Also commands should be able to give items or currency too. Especially with random system that would allow one of the messages contain the prize. For example there would be an item item in shop. Key would allow to use !open chest command. Without that item, there would be message, prompting that You need that item. Using the command would have few different outcomes. One would be e.g. winning specific item with specific or random amount, another one would be getting the currency, specific or from specific range. And third and options would be just a plain text that would say that the chest was empty. That would definitely improve economy and custom commands experience.
7️⃣ Some items would be obtainable only by using commands. Like You need a pokeball item to have a chance to catch a pokemon using a command, but You can't just buy a pokemon in shop (this is just an example, explaining why would certain items be command only)

I particularly like the idea of buying and selling stocks in the economy plug-in. It would be cool if the stocks were also related to server aspects like the members count so you could buy on a down day when the members count was low and sell when it’s high. Since the bot already tracks the number of members on a server I think this may be possible.

I'd like to request an improvement to the !search function.

My users have had intermittent luck running !play nameofsong and have received this video contains content from error

I was informed that the !search nameofsong command is a work around for this error.

BUT the command just adds the song to the queue, could we have the command auto !play, instead of having a user run the second command.

(this all is to say if the !play nameofsong error cant be resolved via a fix)

I may be the only one that uses GroupMe, but I found a cool API on Github for linking a personal GroupMe to a specific Discord Channel. So messages can be placed in either app and appear in the other. It’s out of my skill level to set up and also isnt safe unless Reverse Proxied. Is there anyway ya’ll could make that into a Plugin. I’ll pay $100 for a Mee6 Dev to do it. Just a random request from the guys of my Fantasy Football League 🤣 One love all!

I'd like to see some updates to the Embed plugin.

1️⃣ Templates for embeds would be really helpful. I can only speak for my community, but we use embeds for quite a few regular announcements or reference posts, and currently it's necessary to recreate them from scratch each time a new one is needed. Being able to save templates and create a new embed using a chosen template would be wonderful.

2️⃣ Ability to remove an embed from the dashboard without deleting the embed post from the server. In the same vein as the above, we use embeds for announcements and info posts, but due to the limit on embeds we don't always want to waste them, so we've resorted to custom commands that we just modify as needed and then trigger. The problem here is they can't be edited after being posted. It would be great if it were possible to use a true embed and be able to edit as needed, then remove it from the dashboard when no longer needed, keeping the post in the server for reference.

ECONOMY

Let's talk about economy plugin once again. What if work feature had a system of getting a promotion. The more time You work, the higher You are in hierarchy and more You earn. Each tier would need more times to work than the previous, like for example there would be 10 work tier. You start from 1st tier and need to work 10 times to get a promotion to tier 2. Second tier wouldn't add much, but to advance further You would now need to work 25 times to get 3rd tier. And the higher You are, the more work needs to be done and with 10th tier You would earn really good amount of money.

I also thought of bonus and regression system. If You do not work for too long, You, instead lose a tier. I would say 1-3 days of not work would lose that ter. About bonuses. There would be a random chance of getting additional money.

Also it would be nice if we could be able to adjust the reward from games in gambling and how much each tier can earn. So for example, I want roulette win to be x25 if done 5 times in a row. Or... I want to make work earn 100-1000 money.

Anyway, the bot is awesome and I appreciate all the new features :)

It could be but it's so hard to get people to use the commands right that it would mess it up - guaranteed. Like if I set it up with specific things pulled from different places but someone skips one or adds an extra word, it's no good. would be neat for a plugin to assist.

I suppose it depends on exactly how you want users to set up their profiles? I use a similar system in my server but the only command a user has to use is the command that retrieves the profile, i have a human checking submissions and updates since its impossible to make user-submitted content unbreakable unless its something like self-role profile or a google form script

Now I have to use !ban to specifically show a reason with Moderation events > Moderation ban, but then the messages won't get deleted automatically and I have two logs for one ban.

Feature Suggestion : In the section thats allows you to setup a channel to restrict what can be posted eg. Images, Commands... Can you expand on that allow an option to delete all messages that don't contain a certain keyword. What i'm trying to do is setup a channel to allow posting of links only. So I figured I would add in the text "http://" as something that is allowed and for it to delete any message that doesn't contain that within it

**Suggestion: **Allow the bot to recognize the *beginning of a custom command *and have it perform the actions set. As of right now if I had a custom command where people submit multiple links and information in a new line to make it easier to read - rather than it being stacked in single sentence line alongside the command- the custom command would not be recognized and mee6 doesn't perform any actions that I had set.

**Problem: **When users enter and use new lines alongside the custom command mee6 does not perform any custom command actions.
My current work around is having dyno auto responding to when someone uses the command, "If you got the confirmation it worked!" Which is the only solution I have. You can only imagine how confusing this can be for users when they get this autoresponce AND have it confirmed.
Considered option: I could also say instead, "make sure to use it in one line!" But besides it being harder for me to read, it also doesn't work if the user messes up the first time and there is a user cooldown attached to the command. (Of course so that they don't spam the command.)

Other Side affects: This also affects the way the bot returns information with the {...} arguments. It just clumps all the information into one line.

I think there should be an easier way to ban commands from certain channels. This would be especially useful for larger servers with lots of custom commands like mine. I have to have some of my staff go through each individual command, and ban it from each select channel. Very tedious and long process.
