Hi. I checked and didn't see those suggestions anywhere so I hope I'm not suggesting old stuffs.

First, I'd like to suggest a reward system based on virtual money. A few BOT offer that feature already but I'm premium and MEE6 so it would be better to have everything on it haha. This system would allow people to buy rewards automatically or not. Example : buy a color for 7d base on multiple choices. MEE6 could handle it directly (giving the role and taking it off after a week) or semi-handle it (giving the role but the staff needs to take it off) or just handle the money system (the role needs to be given by the staff and taken off by the staff). But it could also allow people to buy experience for their levels which would be done by the BOT directly. That's yours to decide 🙂

Secondly, I'd like to suggest a new kind or "reminder". Right now we have the choice to setup a reminder (sadly without being able to choose the time). I'd like to add an automatic message with reactions. I'm managing a server for gamers and we are planning a session of Among Us everyday. So around 08pm, I'm posting a message with reaction to see when people are available to play (09:00, 09:30, ...). Doing it everyday is kinda boring so I'd like a BOT to do it in my behalf. I thought of MEE6 😄 This feature would allow me to write my message, choose multiples reactions and decide on a time (UTC of my choosing) to post it.

Is it possible to add a variable like {rank} that shows your current position in the leaderboard? All we have now is {level} but people with the same level can have a different ranking (or position) in the leaderboard. So the output of {rank} would be something like #1 or #2 or #984. Or maybe even only the number like 1, 2 or 984 so that you can choose for yourself to add a hashtag in front of it.

This probably needs to be {user.rank} because else it would not be usable in the custom commands.

Have a "quick link" to the dashboard of a specific server when you log in to mee6.xyz
What I mean by this is: you currently have to log on, hit your profile, hit "my servers", select the server, then the dash loads, but adding a button that links you right to a specific server's dash would save a bit of time, and it could show up right next to your username (also because there's a bit of empty space next to it). This is similar to how it looks when you've already selected a server, but now it just shows one step earlier, and it wouldn't have to open a drop down menu either. This would make having to do quick edits/changes go by a lot faster

Make it where un ranked people and mods needs to get verified to send stuff. For example, 1 person is sending suspicious activity. Yeah admins need to verify the link/photo that the person is sending. If it’s sus, then you can get warned for (Suspicious Activity Detected) if it’s not sus, then it will say “Link Verified”. If someone sends links that can steal your personal information, admins will decide if they either get banned or warned. If someone posts an image of that is disobeying the rules for example. Pornography, Harassment. These are what can get you warned if you send stuff that is a waste of time to staff.

Update the bad word usage section (auto mod)

I will be using the word fork for this example's.

Currently if I add the word 'fork' as a bad word then mee6 only looks for the word 'fork'. People then bypass that work by doing the following: .fork, fork?, fork!, fôrk, fórk and so on. This makes all server mods work harder as they have to pay closer attention to chats.

They have to add all the bypasses (like above) manually to the dashboard and only then mee6 mods them, it is a slight frustration when we have to do it like that.

I'd like to suggest that the IGNORED CHANNELS option under MODERATOR be expanded. For one, it would be nice to ignore an entire category--that would be very helpful when using temp channel bots that have their own logging system (I do and currently whenever someone uses it my logging channel practically explodes). Also, if you could have it so that it ignores not only messages but everything else as well within your selected channels and categories, such as topic change, new channel created, or channel deleted, would be really nice and, in my opinion, improve MEE6's already amazing and well-renowned logging system!

The ability to find in a channel all the messages sent from people who have left the server. I know purging them all can't exactly be done cause Discord API has it's limitations, but I would love to have the ability to "find" these messages (like the bot give the links for them) and it would be a command ran in a channel, cause an entire server would be to much.

I would like to see an If function, and an "is equal to" function. LUA coding has if functions, and "is equal to" function, to use "is equal to" in a script there needs to be a "==", here is an example in LUA coding with the If and is equal to function. By the way, I use Roblox to use LUA Coding so you will see variables like game and stuff like that. Honestly, I think Roblox Studio is a good way to get started with LUA coding if you know how Roblox Studio works.

Following is how it is used in LUA Coding, going to do the best of my ability to explain what it means

recently, you've added two kind of channels that are dedicated to commands or images only. but what if someone want to use them for their #memes channel? or any other channel that they want both images & videos can be shared in.

if you cannot allow users to post videos in image-only channels and improve this feature at the time, then why not adding something called media-only channel? pretty sure that it will be more useful than the current.

or you can even allow members to select what kind of file do they want members to attach in those channels, for example .mp4 and .png only. not the best but it would be a good idea though.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

I can see you can blacklist commands from a channel, for servers with quiet a few channels trying to create a bot commands channel can be quite a task.

My suggestion is to include the option on commands to not only blacklist channels, but maybe allow the user to specify a single channel the command can be run in and the output goes to?

Alternatively provide a global setting that allows the user to designate a channel for commands only and commands in other channels will be ignored.

My second suggestion is to allow users to disable the next track announcements when using the music plugin as the plugin moves through the playlist.

this is a super super important problem that i think should be fixed- mee6 doesn't seem to have a configurable timezone, and as a result it always gives announcements 6 hours ahead of time
for example every wednesday its supposed to say something, but it says it 6 pm tuesday instead
im unsure if this is a missing feature or maybe im just stupid

Read the pins in the channel for what that channel means. If something is in there and doesn’t have a yet, it’s still being considered. Age doesn’t matter @hot ginkgo

I'd like to suggest for the music portion of the bot to the the option to instead specify which rooms you are allowed to use the commands in. My server has a great number of rooms so having to set all the channels as banned channels would be much more of a hassle than just assigning the one room it's actually supposed to work in. Maybe even a setting to have them all just work in one channel as well instead of each command having to be manually set.

Suggestion: Create a customizable server specific reputation system. Customizable meaning that we can set specific action that gives rep and the amount of rep tied to that action so players don't give each other 100000 rep for nothing.

Context: I run a Minecraft server that uses mee6 for our discord. I want it so players can give rep for helping with quests, being a fair trader, helpful with issues and take away rep for scamming, grief, raiding with specific amounts of rep for each action. more miniscule actions give less rep.

Example Commands: !rep+ (action) , !rep- (action) [Outcome: @ player recieved/lost X rep for Y action], !reptop, !repbottom [These 2 show the server reputation leaderboard]
