MEE6 has its own Ticking System so why does THE MEE6 server use Ticket Tool ?

Different systems work best for different use cases/scenarios.
Our MEE6 Ticketing plugin is great for low to medium-scale servers, and we use it on one of the servers that we have (the server dedicated to Web3).
On this server, we have quite a large-scale operation going on, so currently TicketTool works better for us.
Additionally, it also matters that we've had everything set up and working here on this server with TicketTool long before we had our own Ticketing plugin in MEE6 🙂

This is just a personal opinion:
I bought MEE6 Premium Lifetime as an 'as-is' product ie I bought it knowing that's what I got. Whilst I hoped there'd be some additions in the future (and there has been since I bought it), I set myself the expectation that what I got then was going to be it. Because - and let's be fair - expecting a product that I pay for once to get updates and new features for years to come at no extra cost is just unrealistic IMO. No other software company does this, they all operate on annual subscriptions or release new versions every few years that you have to purchase to get the latest version.

So don't get me wrong, I'd love to see new features with MEE6 and to get them for nothing. And maybe that will happen. I don't know. But as I've got the expectation that this is all it will be for my one-off payment, I'm not disappointed by no recent additions and, if any do come in the future, I'll be thrilled at something that I didn't expect.

I get where you're coming from and what I said previously was just my opinion. It would be great to get more updates and a roadmap from staff. But I know they are all very busy don't have the time to respond to suggestions, but they definitely do look at them.
I guess in this changing landscape of Discord, they have to keep branching out to other things too, which is why we've seen things like AI Characters and Mememaker in recent times. Putting all of your eggs in one basket is probably not the way to go, diversifying products is more likely to be able to sustain any company.

So you are missing some bot permissions and also may need to check the hierarchy for the roles.
As you are using a custom bot (bot personaliser), all of this applies to the custom bot server role, not to MEE6 (which is no longer used and can be kicked if you wish).

Role Hierarchy

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

Side note about Custom Bot™️

The permissions above require two-factor authentication if the 2FA for moderators is enabled in your server settings: Kick Members, Ban Members, Manage Channels, Manage Messages, Manage Roles, Manage Webhooks, Manage Server and Administrator.
It means that if the owner of the custom bot doesn't have the two-factor authentication enabled on their account, the changes won't have any effect even if you enable these permissions on Discord.
