Good evening everyone I am having some problems again and this time is with the website itself (I think...) Whenever I activate the Welcome message on the website it works fine and dandy but after a while it deactivates itself out of nowhere.
This are my settings that might be important to know:

• I took off his administrator role because he wasn't following the rules of staying in one channel (I tried multiple times and he just doesn't listen so maybe another problem?)

• I added the bot personalizer so now I have Mee6 and the "personalized" bot on the server.

The Github info isn't wrong, it's just incomplete. The spreadsheet in link 7 goes up to level 999 and covers the different XP rates. Personally I really like the XP calculator on link 8, it's very handy. 🙂

The leaderboard will tell you the XP you're on I think. You'll need to view it on a PC though as some data is hidden on mobile to make it less cluttered.

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

@neat cargo Understood, Goto your Me menu, Automations, Create a new one, the trigger should be "user gains role",first condition (in your example) ,"the user gains one of these roles" enter your role ie Game Master , then choose if you want to send it as an embed or a message, using the {user} variable to reference the user. Save and publish, refresh your server window/app, try it out 🙂

The usage of these type variables is a handy and powerful thing, from assigning roles, rewards, messages, to passing information to webhooks/APIs. It's worth the time to learn to use them, even if just the basics.

I’ve setup the welcome process with Mee6. Does that mean that I should have on boarding turned on or off in the server settings?

Those are two separate features. On-boarding is a tool to get quick info about your server, like links to your rules, support channels & general chat areas, as well as gaining basic roles.

While the welcomer gives you info in one channel.

Personally, I don't like the on-boarding feature of Discord.
