Hello! I've been thinking a while on something that's been bugging me. Pardon the long text 😂

Anyways, can someone explain to me how people paid $800+ for MEE6 Web3 plugins only for them to stop being developed? From my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, $4 million was given to the MEE6 web3 team (4400, each around 800 USD, minus expenses) only for them to dash away development for Web3 when things got slow. Isn't the point to build when things are slow? Doesn't developing new features build interest in the ecosystem and technology which adds to market growth? Was MEE6 doing it just for the hype and not because they believed in the utility? Why not return the unused MEE6 funds then?

And for those that say the $800 was for the NFT or the "art", no it's not, the Art was separated from the NFT and provided free of value, so the value was in the Web3 Genesis Pass, which had so many promised features that never came to fruition.

It's people's actual jobs to create MEE6, make new plugins etc. The servers the bot runs on costs money too (funnily enough the server owners don't let people use their servers for free, probably because that's how they earn a living).
Maybe in the future if we move away from a society based around capitalism then we won't have to pay for anything. But for now, we're going to have to pay for some things.
At least there is some free stuff on MEE6, it's not all paid-for. 🙂

OK. You have the same issue I have, and others too, with the custom bot. It's not syncing slash permissions from the Dashboard with the server. There's no fix for this currently, so you'll have to configure the permissions for slash commands in Integrations for your custom bot.
