Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account

Monetize is a plugin. It's MEE6's equivalent to Discord Server Subscriptions. That plugin AFAIK is free to use, it's not a Premium feature. It can be used by any server owner, whereas currently Discord Subs can only be used by US based server owners.

Personally I wouldn't use monetization subs in any of my communities. To me, you have to offer something of real value (e.g. personal tutoring, online courses) to charge users. Charging for a role and a few channels and permissions isn't value for money to me and I agree, it does feel like a grubby cash grab.

The most recent announcement makes it so you can allow particular roles to gain a "boost" in earning xp. The currency also has "boosts" but I don't think it's for particular roles it's for the whole server.

In this case couldn't you give certain roles a /claim I won't mention any specific bots since I don't think I'm allowed to, however, there is an economy bot that allows users to claim a currency.

Which means you could probably do that if MEE6 has that feature or otherwise there are many other bots which can do something similar.
