Unfortunately Discord and/or YouTube seem to have sent a legal notice so all bots I’m aware of have suspended their YouTube music feature. Some bots continue to allow other forms of media but MEE6 opted to remove the entire plugin. There’s no plans to bring it back at the moment. Even if it did, they aren’t allowed to use YouTube links.

Any bots still allowing YouTube links is at risk of some form of action from Discord I believe.

There’s a few things to check. Is your bot an admin? Is the bot role dragged to the top of your server roles? It can’t be below the roles it needs to give out. Have you made sure any changes you’ve made are saved on the plugin? Check those out.

And is the bot sending a welcome message?

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".
