Sometimes the music plugin won't move to the next song in the queue and requires manually pressing the play button in the dashboard to get it going again. I'm doing more testing with it right now to see if I can pin down why. Seems random for now

Typing !vote-skip while this is happening will cause the bot to say "there's no song to play next"

Your embed system in general is buggy. I can provide numerous examples but here are two that annoy me.

1. The first time you save an embed and then go back into edit it, the logo's, thumnail, author and color formatting is all wiped. Usually takes one edit and resave entering the info twice to sort this issue out.
2. There is an issue with your timer embed. Randomly closes sometimes when you try and enter text into the main body but a more annoying aspect is if you edit the timer embed all the emotes bug out and double up with double anchor types <a:<a: like that. Any link at the end of your text embed also ends up breaking. In my example it drops the > and messes up the final link

I don't know if this is a bug or if the mee6 bot just can't handle live events on youtube, but I have noticed that when a youtube streamer goes live, the mee6 bot doesn't seem to post it like he would a video that is uploaded. Recently a youtuber I have set up, started doing live events, but these videos are not appearing in my channel, despite it being set and no errors from the dashboard.

Hi! I have a problem with the timer plugin: I created some reminder-channels on my server, in which only the bot can write. The timer doesn't work automatically, because if I don't write after the first reminder, it won't send the next one.
So in practice, it looks like this: The bot sends the first reminder, but if I don't write anything after, the bot won't send the next one. I write for example "asd" and then I delete it, so the bot sends the second reminder.

So, yesterday I was talking about the bug where mee6 won't move to the next song in the queue sometimes and just hang there until someone types in !play or !previous. Skip commands will not work, as it will say that nothing it playing.

Well, I found out that the song before and after doesn't matter. I had to two songs that perfectly worked together (as in mee6 managed to move from the first song to the next without issue). However, the next time the two songs came back around, mee6 hung up on moving to the second song, requiring the !previous command to continue

This is a separate issue to mee6 allowing taken down videos into the queue and getting hung up playing them

Gotcha, seems borderline random when if it fails to download or not. One solution could be to have mee6 simply skip to the next song (or try again) if something fails to download, but I'm sure that's already obvious

Swapping roles, using the "reaction roles" system, is bugged if it's adding two roles and 1 of the roles is the same in the one you've currently picked and the one you're switching to.
That was so hard to formulate, hope it makes sense.

A little more detail on this : if "allow users to pick up multiple roles" is disabled, switching reactions removes the old reaction, but it still removes any roles associated with that reaction after it switches and gives the new roles. (if a role is added to multiple reactions).

I have a Premium MEE6 Bot
To recreate:

Enable Custom Commands
Open Custom Commands
Click Text Command
Scroll to Cooldown
Select User Cooldown
Set Cooldown Duration to anything higher than 0 (1 for example)
Try to set the Cooldown Duration back to 0
It won't let you

Refreshing does not help
Reopening the whole tab after closing it does not help
Making a new Text Command without ever touching the cooldown is the only way I can find to 'fix' and disabling Cooldowns entirely fixes it! (Thankyou sil)

0 is an option(But shouldn't be) on the Text Command cooldown duration options but it is unclickable

Noticing that the messages I have being sent out on a timer won't send if mee6 is hung up on a song (as in, it failed to download for whatever reason and won't play anything anymore)

Basically, I have a timer set up to send a message every 15min in the same room mee6 posts the current song. It will post every 15min as long as mee6 is playing music, but the moment it gets hung up on a song, it won't post it anymore until the bot begins playing the music again (which requires the !play !leave or !previous commands to fix it) Once it begins playing the timer message will immediately post and then post again like normal in 15min

In response to others I too am having issues with the bot having audio issues (stutters) but more importantly just stops at random times(within the hour of starting) and I manually have to restart it. MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

Third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discordapp.com/app in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm action
2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on avatar icon in upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout
3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in upper right corner
3.2 In new window login to Discord. After that you will be redirected back to MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using correct account and MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

half the birthdays disappeared
relisted birthdays dont appear on the list when u use next birthdays command
even when they should appear because they are upcoming e.g. february over december

I did some more troubleshooting.
Birthdays previously listed are actually still there but the "!next-birthdays" command doesn't show them chronologically. It does not show "upcoming" birthdays contrary to what the description says.
Other issues still stand. It didnt wish bday when i set it to and it didnt give role.

<@&193123929701875712> me and a buddy had our mee6 levels reset yesterday suddenly on a mutual server. as far as we know, no one else on the server had their levels reset.
we had no warning or indication this would happen. we were at pretty high levels (1st and 4th), so we’re pretty upset about it.
we don’t know how this happened. i dunno if we somehow accidentally reset our own levels or if it’s an error on mee6’s part. i’m ALSO wondering if it’s possible for you to bring our levels back.

the last screenshot of our levels was taken on 2/08/2021 (i can send it if need be), but i do remember before the reset i was around 1.7k messages, and my buddy was around 2.5k messages.

if you can’t do anything, that’s understandable, but at least an explanation would be nice.

I was able to fix the solution by kicking my bot. I took the following steps.

1. !leave
2. !play [playlist]
   (no sound was playing)
3. I kicked the bot again and made the bot play again and it worked. hopefully this helps anyone!

On one of the servers I'm on, MEE6 frequently deletes long messages, saying "don't send the same message over and over again! :ANGRY6:" This isn't the same message being sent over and over again, this is just when someone types something long. Incredibly annoying since we often spent a long time typing the message. Is this a known issue?
