If you put a channel link into a Timer message in the [#9823498723](/guild/159962941502783488/channel/9823498723/) format, the Mee6 web dashboard is converting this to the actual channel name when saving the timer. As a result, when Mee6 pushes the times message, you end up having a plain text channel name without a link.

Ok, had edited it and thought that may have been the culprit. So I deleted it completely, disabled the Timers module, re-enabled it, added a completely new timer, and it still converts it. Does it cache channel IDs or something? The only problem I have with this is that once converted, the output on Discord becomes plain-text with no link.

Hey, I created a server and love using the mee6 bot in it along with the level up system to get rewarded levels. But, just recently I stopped getting points for the text I was sending. I use the rank command to look at the rank at see how many points I have (as me and my friends are very competitive) and it has stoped showing higher points for me, and only me. If Mee6 isn't giving you xp, or either !rank or !levels is not working it is one of the following:
Reason 1: The levels plugins isn't enabled on the dashboard
Reason 2: You have a banned role on you (in which case you should remove it. Having a banned role also prevents !rank or !levels from working)
Reason 3: Bot can't read messages in that channel (for not gaining xp) or can't send (for !rank and !levels)
Reason 4: Rank cooldown. This used to be bugged, but in a recent update it got fixed. So if you have the rank cooldown set super high, set it lower so that the !rank command work

This may not be a bug, but I will write this here anyway. So, this server that I am a staff in has the Mee6 Bot, and it was fun to have on the server. The highest rank was like 51 or something, I forgot. Anyway, recently, all the Mee6 levels reset. All the admins got their role taken off them because the owners thought it would have something to do with them. I think it may be a bug, however. hi. i have i server that i've taken over from a friend. i was going to put leveled roles into it but when i made the roles that i'd like to apply the levels too, they weren't on the list of roles that i could add levels too. incidentaly, there were quite a few roles that had been deleted as well. i'm not sure if this i supposed to happen or not

Because of misbehaving, I've given a specific user a role that has less permissions than other roles on my server. He was at level 1, which was also supposed to give a role that has more permissions. Since I removed every role from him, that are allowed to earn XP, he wasn't shown on the leaderboard so i couldnt reset his level. I just thought "well, it should be fine then" but yeah, he got promoted because he still had that level.

There's a last checking, server settings -> roles -> mee6 -> grant him to send messages. If it's turned off, mee6 won't send any messages. Then try !rank or !levels and see what happens :)

If Mee6 isn't giving you xp, or either !rank or !levels is not working it is one of the following:
Reason 1: The levels plugins isn't enabled on the dashboard
Reason 2: You have a banned role on you (in which case you should remove it. Having a banned role also prevents !rank or !levels from working)
Reason 3: Bot can't read messages in that channel (for not gaining xp) or can't send (for !rank and !levels)
Reason 4: Rank cooldown. This used to be bugged, but in a recent update it got fixed. So if you have the rank cooldown set super high, set it lower so that the !rank command work

Have you done "!slowoff"? Basically the way Slowmode works is that people are only allowed to send messages every x amount of seconds. So, in your case, MEE6 will delete the user's messages between their first message and after the 90 seconds are over. (Please note that the counter is different depending on the user, like, one user won't affect the counter of another user. And that the counter starts once they send a message.)

Well, the way !slowmode works is that the number you put after the command is how many seconds of an interval you must wait before you can send messages again, not how long the slowmode will last for.

Hi It's probably my mistake (bot is a new thing for me) but i keep having this message text "Mee6 cannot create a webhook on your server, Please give him MANAGE WEBHOOKS permission" when i tried too do a new timed message (but i have one lunched every 2h and when i change him it works, I just can make new ones)
I kikcked out mee6 and re-invite him with the good permitions still don't work..
if anybody can help me 🙂
