You're limited to 5 timers per guild, with the message interval being in minutes. If nobody posts a message after the timer has been sent, the channel is considered "non active" and so the next timer will not be sent. The bot needs the MANAGE_WEBHOOKS perm otherwise it'll auto disable if the channel isn't found or it can't create webhook

the reddit plugin will post all new posts from your favorite subreddits.

+ Mee6 needs MANAGE WEBHOOK permission, either on the channel you choose or server wide
- you can not nickname the reddit posting webhook, changing the webhook does not effect anything
- the reddit plugin will automaticly disable itself over time if Mee6 does not have the manage webhook permission

temporary: no bot can clear messages older then 2 weeks (discord API problem)
the clear command allows you to clear the last xx amount of message.
or to clear that anoying spammer without clearing anyone else
just use !clear 1-1000 to clear the last xx messages(example !clear 10),
or use !clear @name to clear all the message of @name in the last 100 messages

+ i need manage messages permission 
+ i need view message history permission (otherwise i will respond with -1 messages cleared) 
+ you need to check the checkmark next to clear on the plugin page.
+ you need to set your role as moderator (located at the bottom of the plugin page in the moderator tab)

you gain xp by talking in chat. when you gain enough ex you get a level.
in order to let me give role rewards i need :

+ manage roles permission
+ at least one of my roles needs to be ABOVE the reward roles(bots can't give roles that are higher than their own role)
! I will only check for role rewards to be updated when someone levels up... so if you added role rewards a bit late then wait till someone levels again before complaining that I am not doing my job.

DISCLAIMER: roles will stack up, if you remove a low level role from someone then that person will just get it back over time.

Level System

When a new player goes up a level, the bot is program to announce it right? Well, the bot has that enable and also has the whisper feature enable. The bot is somehow not obeying the whisper feature. I seen this happen to 2 people now on a discord I am on and hasn't been fixed. This problem just started today.

the mute seemed to be bugged...at least in our server. I disabled it as the unmute wasnt working. It'd unmte once, but when they tried to type again, theyd be re-muted.
I noticed when I muted people, it'd give a message indicating they were unmuted,
and when the mute command was given, it'd give a mixed message saying both the person wasnt there / the person could speak again
weird!

I found a bug. Calling for rank every 60 seconds adds exp as it should, and calling for rank every 30 doesn't like it should, but calling for rank twice every 30 adds exp.

if you notice that Streamers are not being announced:

 - Delete the streamers and hand type them; Sometimes you will pick up a extra invisible character that breaks the searches.
 - Make sure Mee6 can send messages in the selected channel.
 - It can take some time for Mee6 see a streamer going live, so be patient.

You're limited to 5 timers per guild, with the message interval being in minutes. If nobody posts a message after the timer has been sent, the channel is considered "non active" and so the next timer will not be sent. The bot needs the MANAGE_WEBHOOKS perm otherwise it'll auto disable if the channel isn't found or it can't create webhook

DISCLAIMER: roles will stack up, if you remove a low level role from someone then that person will just get it back over time.

temporary: no bot can clear messages older then 2 weeks (discord API problem)
the clear command allows you to clear the last xx amount of message.
or to clear that anoying spammer without clearing anyone else
just use !clear 1-1000 to clear the last xx messages(example !clear 10),
or use !clear @name to clear all the message of @name in the last 100 messages

+ i need manage messages permission 
+ i need view message history permission (otherwise i will respond with -1 messages cleared) 
+ you need to check the checkmark next to clear on the plugin page.
+ you need to set your role as moderator (located at the bottom of the plugin page in the moderator tab)

Hey, I think I found a bug, no idea if it's already reportet though. So when you set up multiple timed messages for the same channel with the same time interval then none of them will get sent. It works if you choose time intervals which are one minute apart from each other though.

So, e.g. three times messages with 120m, 121m and 122m for the same channel works but 120m, 120m, 120m for the same channel doesn't work.

I have been having an issue with getting Mee6 timer feature to work on my server. I have checked the permissions and gotten rid of and added back Mee6, tinkered with the message/time/chat, etc. I can't seem to find any reason for it to not work aside from just not wanting to. Apologies if this doesn't qualify as a bug and should go in another chat. Or if I am just missing something obvious lol

I don't believe so. Is that required for the timer to work? I have no idea what a webhook is so i just disabled it.

Mee6 is not adding ranks automatically when players get to a certain level. It's doing this in both my server and somebody else's.

role rewards will give a role as reward for active users in chat.
you gain xp by talking in chat. when you gain enough ex you get a level.
in order to let me give role rewards i need :

+ manage roles permission
+ at least one of my roles needs to be ABOVE the reward roles(bots can't give roles that are higher than their own role)
! I will only check for role rewards to be updated when someone levels up... so if you added role rewards a bit late then wait till someone levels again before complaining that I am not doing my job.

DISCLAIMER: roles will stack up, if you remove a low level role from someone then that person will just get it back over time.

Mee6 seems to be inconsistently rewarding roles in my server. Some people get their reward a few minutes after reaching the required level. Some people have grown 3 levels over the required level with still no reward. I have double and triple checked all the permissions and role orders. It just doesn't seem to be working correctly

I found a bug that you can get Unlimited Xp

If i go to sleep and enablemy Discord Xp bot then it will send every 1 Minute 1 Message so i gain every 1 Min 15-25 Xp and the Xp counter works every 1 Min when someone sends a Message ..... overnight i get lvl 30 Easy

Just did the math, assuming you get the maximum amount of XP per message (highly unlikely) and the bot sends a message per minute non stop. Id take exactly 1.8757 days to achieve this

You're limited to 5 timers per guild, with the message interval being in minutes. If nobody posts a message after the timer has been sent, the channel is considered "non active" and so the next timer will not be sent. The bot needs the MANAGE_WEBHOOKS perm otherwise it'll auto disable if the channel isn't found or it can't create webhook

Not sure if its a bug or somthing our end but .. attempting to !clear @dire yarrow to remove a load of repeated timed messages returned "" Deleted 0 message 🙄
(I can't delete messages older than 2 weeks due to discord limitations) "" the messages im trying to delete are from last night (works fine when clearing user messages or messages from diff bot)

make sure the roles are set as lower than mee6 role , and also are you sure itsw not giving the roles or are the roles lower than the memberss previos role , i thought the same to start with and turned out they had been given the roles just didnt see it change cos their top role was still @everyone
