The monitor came in!!!
I can easily swap between the PC and mac, all i have to do is swap the HDMI for the right screen cause its only 1 input, and swap where the USB keyboard is plugged to!
Its on the floor by the PC when at the desk!
And I can play the Switch or any other HDMI system through the monitor with it’s built in speaker and its actually super good!!

first question i have is, is there enough space for a monitor to be against the wall and your eyeballs far enough away from it

tho that only applies if u r gonna face away from the window

if ur gonna use the current desk, its probably just wide enough for a monitor, and the pc would prolly have to go under the desk

Yeah there is , but honestly I was thinking of getting a longer desk and have it sideways against where the window is cause rn with that desk and little area the pc won't fit under the desk with enough space for my legs

Not sure if I'd be able to find an L shaped desk to maybe fit there and still have decent space to get to where the l shaped part would be

With the pc/tech talk in stream right now I figured I'd ask this question here. I've had a three screen setup for years now. Two are ASUS VG248QE 144hz monitors, and the third is a 24" Vizio tv. There were never any issues up until the beginning of March. I would intermittently get "DisplayPort no signal" on startup.

After that coming and going over the following weeks, with different troubleshooting being done, it eventually came down to me needing a new motherboard. I get the new mobo, replace it, hook everything up, and it boots with no problem. While I'm at my friends' house I test having three monitors plugged in, and all three work fine. I get back home, plug in my two monitors and small tv, and I see the same no signal message. On a hunch I unplug the hdmi from the tv and my monitors work fine. Why is this a thing?

I did try getting a new hdmi cable, reversing where the ends were plugged in, and it kept on happening.

You don't have many things you can do at least with just having another fan in the room it will feel a little cooler simply because the air is circulating better

9600x has 2 graphics cores that are just called "radeon graphics"

Man. I'm really getting tired of Nvidia. I have a 2060 in my PC and I always keep it updated. Which recently it started bricking my graphics card when I use a display port. I read a couple of things a few months ago, because this has happened before already. That Nvidia's updates are messed up and all this stuff and it makes it so the display ports don't load on my monitor. If I switch to hdmi it works fine. But then I can't use the 144hz refresh rate because it's an older monitor and only offers it over display port.

I've just gotten to the point where my future pc will definitely not be an Nvidia GPU. Probably will switch to asus. And I'm at the point of just getting a new pc altogether or get a new display that offers 144hz+ over hdmi.

It's just really annoying having to deal with this cause it takes 1+ hours to go and fix it. I have to plug hdmi in. Uninstall my drivers completely which takes a long time. Just completely clean it out. And then reinstall my drivers and pray that it works.

Moral of the story. Don't buy Nvidia 😭

This could be nothing, but my brain be paranoid. My laptop was asleep while plugged in. Came back to it, woke it up, and it hadn't been charging. That's when I noticed both the charge, and power lights were just blinking... I was so confused. I was using it, so it wasn't like it just didn't fully wake up. I unplugged the charger, then plugged it back in, and boom normal. Is this something I should keep an eye on or something? The laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 if that changes anything.

I need help getting my webcam stream quality actually good. I got the WYRESTORM 4K Webcam. I went through hours of webcam quality videos. The crispness of the video and smoothness, especially in full screen (chat talking to mode) is just BAD... Well not as clear and crisp as I know it can be. I have good lighting (I believe, it's bright for me 😂) and still nothing. What can I do?! (I will respond when I wake up. It's 5am and been up since 12 trying to make obs settings actually good haha)

This is why unless you are using like a ryzen 9 or a ultra 9 cpu i dont recommend an aio

Because aios are more expensive and you won't know that the pump has died unless you are constantly checking temps

Meanwhile an air cooler is cheaper and less maintenance since its just 1 or 2 fans that can die

Then all you have to do for that is spend like 20$ on a couple of fans and you are good to go

Hey everyone i mostly use discord on my xbox and ive recently had issuse with the audio for others sounding like they have a crappy mic and sounds like they are at the loudest possible setting they can get. And then it randomly at times fixes itself from time to time but doesn't stay normal. Has anyone had these issuse with discord and maybe knows how to fix it.

I have 32gbs of ram too, my usage is never above 6gbs sometimes 8gb at most on start-up.

As far as playing games I never go above 22gbs used and I'm usually playing bf6.

i would swap out ur cpu for a ryzen 7000 series or 9000 series one

and then pick a compatible motherboard

ryzen 7 7700x might be a good starting point

I recommend going to your local tech shop if you have one and discussing it with them, that's how I had my current PC built. Told them what I wanted it for and my budget, they helped me pick out the best parts for the best prices and they even built it for me.

@radiant swan btw my reasoning for swapping the bottom fans to intake is because you dont want to have your gpu fighting those fans for air

my personal opinion is use convection to your advantage

have the bottom 3 be intake and the top 3 be exhaust you can set the 2 side fans as intake and that single fan as exhaust

granted if you dont want to do that then its whatever you do you
