Like horizontal is stagnating for me while Diagonal and Pasu are still steadily rising in terms of averages, even with that dip from last night.

you should be focusing on exactly what your wrist/fingers are doing and what errors that may be causing

Oddly enough, using 35cm at first made my 25cm/360 smoother rather than the other way around
like is there a thinner/faster version yhou can swap to? if you're not alternating the version then you're likely auto piloting a lot of the run
if there isn't push the sens higher, like teh 10-15 range, just mix it up more to force you to maintain focus and further isolate these issues

like this is one of the only times you should be doing this in training, bc 99% of the time you want to foucs on in game technique and not think about what your body is physically doing

like you cant learn bot movement, or learn when to click
or focus on micro over wide flick
its just raw mechanics, so there will be minimal score bump from learning senario
i would also agree with ksyyz on plahing on 30cm sometimes
you do need that contrast for the higher sens to feel as effective

After a brief discussion with multiple people it is best for me to change up some of the sens-values. Tried forcing 20-25cm into scenarios like SYW and centering to hard-focus wrist smoothness but my inconsistency with it likely hurting me in the long run.

The only time I know people go that low is just temporarily to be smoother at 30-40
there's nothing wrong with using a higher cm for smoothness just don't go to like 45+
If you suck at centering on 20cm when there's alternatives you would prefer then its probably better to change. Locking yourself into such a narrow sens window just sounds bad
If your wrist stability is already shit why would you make it go through one of the hardest ranges for stability. It makes sense that you'd hit a wall straight away with little to no gains.
it'll always be better to just do something comfy and then think about making it slightly harder over time when the gains aren't the same
and then go back to the original comfy sens for a good score boost since it'll feel easier
It's like when you tried going faster on static and threw away all of your progress
instead of just continuing to optimize and improve your current pace and technique.
You yourself said that 20cm is the end of where it's optimal to use so that's the hardest in your own opinion, would you go hardest option if you're literally lowest rank in horizontal smoothness. You're essentially picking Astra level difficulty task when you're novice.

Give it a couple more days, if it gives nothing - likely a bad approach. I'd probably go for slow sens that makes it easy as hell, even with that simplified you probably won't hit "insane" scores so just practice until it's getting too easy similarly to how you do with other scens?

But i believe I once saw Dark mention in general on how "using the sens that fits the scenario" alone can also allow you to just train properly? Or something like that.
Maybe I just need to let go of my former mindset then and just use whatever fits in general, given that going slower than 40cm on it for instance would be considered "cheesing" for me at first.

I'd say it's about being consistent in the track and missing almost none in Smooth your wrist (for a whole minute). And don't feel afraid to lower sens, if you know what are the correct techniques (which I know u do) then you should know when it feels like cheesing it

Yup I was yet again not focusing on consistency but brute forcing gains.
Make sure we take breaks during tracking cuz it's the most exhausting (imo) between other categories mentally, having to focus on 1 target without changing for more than an hour

The biggest issue I just have right now is adjusting to the lower friction of the skypad for stopping. It is currently difficult for me to decelerate without interfering myself unless I take it easy (which I am doing).

For me it is the spawns.
Sometimes the bots will continuously spawn around the middle of the screen which means easy farming, but often they don't so you have to "waste time" looking around for them

Sometimes they spawn allowing me to continue a streak but other times they just spawn SO far away its hell having to do like “guess flicks” if that makes sense

Did Center II 90 for like 5 minutes, suddely my horizontal got smoother. Now my SYW is better too

Made some good strides with some of my horizontal scores. The rest was flip flopping between a bit better and being a bit below average.
Note to self:
- Part of my smoothness issue, especially horizontally, is due me likely accidentally speeding up too much to stay on target. I noticed that focusing on "undertracking" helped me keep my wrist/arm a bit calmer which helped with the wiggling a bit more.
- Will be using 35cm/360 on VAI now too instead of 30 given I am a bit too inconsistent with 30cm at times. Will also be using 45cm for the super small Pasu ones instead of 40. New general range being: 35-45cm

Pushed some PBs here and there and averages stabilized a little bit. Going well again 👍
I will do vertical eventually. Maybe in the last 10 days. VAI was my worst when starting out and it also indirectly helps me a bit with vertical anyway

You use a higher sens when training your smoothness right? But when you switch to your lower sens do you actually notice improvement in it?
I use 35-45cm on the TSK scenarios depending on the size of the bots and most are relatively small, but yes if you play on something faster first and then go slower you give yourself a bit of a "buff"
And in general if your smoothness gets better on faster senses then so it will on something slower of course in general. It is universal.

Im like 90% sure its speedmatching. Might do the TSK benches u sent today for fun if i dont do reactive.
Lack of speedmatching could also be due to shotty target reading. I noticed that If I am very focused on the target (like 100% full focused on it) I tend to automatically speedmatch better.

70cm on smth like fast centering 90 is fine since you're just practicing faster smoothness which is something you don't do at 40cm
