i am not really a fan of scenarios trying to immitate the actual game duels bc it will never be as good as just hopping into duel servers or deathmatches, because they will have real player behaviour on top of training all the game fundamentals like recoil, strafing, crosshair placement, peeking etc

so i think this for kovaaks is better:

looking at what you struggle with in game, then find stuff on kovaaks to target this specific weakness in a vacuum: example you are bad at stable landings after flicks so you play stuff like pokeball, bad at tension management so you play smoothness, micro scenarios etc. focusing on distinct technique is good, playing kovaaks mindlessly with the "general goal to improve" is just less effective as focusing only on technique in kovaaks, then applying the technique in deathmatch

also the seperation of movement and aim is another big problem i have, you will basically NEVER stand still in a game, so training in kovaaks fully stationary is the wrong approach in my eyes, the exception here is when you train actual techniques like tension management as mentioned above

it's actually a really interesting theory, a lot if it is because most games have "styles" of movement, i feel like overtraining is 100% a thing in kovaaks, like if you play static for 30 mins then go into a game you mgiht feel super tense and struggle to be smooth
