it isn't decided yet. I made the cad fully parametric so I've experimented multiple shapes. That's not really the main point, the point is that it has two sensors and uses both at the same time to allow for a large number of very cool things that I don't want to fully leak yet, the most obvious of which is that you can decide where the sensor is via software and have a high sensor (even outside of the mouse) or low in a single mouse

I'd say 40mm seems to be the sweet spot but it also depends on the chamfered edge at the back, the width, in general it's an organic shape so it depends on all the curves around it
