But like I mentioned I struggle to get up, even waiting in bed 2 hours before getting up or just keep falling asleep until noon and I get like 12 hrs of sleep
damn sounds heavy
Yea I don’t even know at this point
Like I totally could’ve had the medication for me but had some things happen and think it was the medication and moved on
It’s so hard to tell
just keep going i guess, no point in stopping now. but thats the cost of being impatient in some regard and having incompetent doctors, those two dont work well together
Yea it might take longer because I’m trying to find any free route I can
I don’t think I’ll ever go to the school health care again tbh my primary care doctor is already free
Guy was kinda an asshole
the guy who called you stupid?
I mean not really but it was implied 😭
Kinda trashed on my primary care doctor aswell which i actually really like the guy
med studies and the stress that comes with it for sure emerge some interesting egos 😂
even if your journey is not done yet be aware of the steps you already made, you can be proud for not giving up
Yea he didn’t seem professional at all, really young I assume aswell. I’m gonna trust the guy that probably has triple the experience especially in treating depression and anxiety
One hell if a journey I pray it ends soon
Probably been maybe 6 years since my health started dropping
I don’t even really have a starting point yet
Hell i could even just be normal and life just sucks that bad 💀
but you already had alot of them to get the motor rolling
haha yeah to be honest, life always sucks and is never easy. just a few of us will have the luck for it
Yea but despite all of the medication and shit I’ve taken I could’ve just had a depressive year and like just assumed I felt worse on it
Yk
That’s what really sucks is it’s practically just like a loop
yeah totally, thats why consistency is so important
welcome to depression, if thats really the case with you
I’m hoping once I actually get a sleep test or adhd test like I’ll know for sure it’s not sleep related or maybe I have adhd or a sleep disorder that’s kinda causing it all
Or just have it crossed off so we can focus on something else
I definitely was depressed as a teen but I don’t really feel like that anymore, more just fatigue and little interest in stuff which I know are depressive symptoms but could also be tied into other things
was about to say that, dont overhype yourself on a problem, the downfall if its not the case is brutal
Also I kinda feel like I’ve practically covered everything I could’ve done depression wise
meth
always a good choice
you have experience with that to make that statement?
💀
yes with ket, but not actual ketamine therapy
It’s fine I’ll take fent
either way there arent as many side effects like with ssris
which are way more common
If it’s recommended I can try to get another blood test
It’s probably been over 5-6 months and a decent bit has changed since then
bro i think your a bit too deep in that tiktok health bubble 😂
everyone knows you have to eat the balls, the rest is propaganda from the vegans
bull testicles ftw
wouldnt hurt, hell you can even type in your weekly diet and let chat gpt look for possible deficiencies and get them checked out with extra blood tests
oh hell nah not chatgpt
It’s nothing special I mean it’s not super limited but I’m only eating stuff my college had to offer
Meal plan money
If I can try to find like an actual sheet of diet information maybe I could actually make something up
for instance i wouldve never guessed im deficient in folacic acid or whatever its called in english, even tho im not trying to get pregnant
or am even able too get pregnant i have to add
Get pregnant
yeah sure ill try and drink 20 gallons of water in one sitting maybe i look for a bit like that before i die
But last time I got one I think the only thing that stood out was the vitamin D
And it wasn’t even like super super low but I took vitamin D for awhile to go above the norm
alot of stuff being on the low side of normal surely add up
Yea I mean idek where to start rn im practically just waiting for the adhd testing and I’ll have to see if I can find a direct cost after insurance for a in lab sleep test
just keep the basics down until then, good sleep-, diet-, excercise routine. people often forget that the basics still make the biggest impact overall
Yea I’ve been trying to get more workouts and walks in lately
It’s about a 15 minute walk to the student center and occasionally I’ll walk there and back or walk there and get transportation back which is free
The only thing I wanna look towards is something to cover the blinds, not 100% sure if there is space for blackout curtains or anything
ooh nice investment
Kinda wish I was back at home sometimes I had an AC installed and blackout stuff and everything
The sun shines literally right at my window super early and obviously blinds don’t block everything
Especially the angle that I sleep the cracks at the bottom of the blinds idk
I feel Wat is most Comfortable to me isn't comfortable :(
One thing I struggle with is knowing how much of a workout counts as a workout, that produces the benefits of feeling better, sleeping better etc
Like sometimes I’ll walk for 15+ minutes in the sun or like I have this app where I have a specific workout that I do
i would consider a workout something that is challenging for my body
its subjective and genetic
overworking would have negative effects
high intensity for short periods of time will improve how u feel
low intensity jogging for example should also do that
and it really depends on mood
Why no stimulants, e.g. The actual stuff you use to treat ADHD with? Psych lacks certifications?
Oh yeah, I read more, typical, unlucky
The wait is worth it tho
yea I don't have a diagnosis lmfao
eebro stop getting people on drugs
In the meantime, just enjoy being a dumbass version of yourself and fix other possible issues you have
Why?
eebro do you use fent
I don’t use any illicit substances
adhd is a call from nature
not something that yearns medication to be a good slave
Exercise is probably the second most effective treatment for ADHD, first obviously being meds
Lmao
dont worry he eats animal balls for breakfast
not good enough
I haven't noticed any difference but I'll keep doing it for the sake of health
I’ve seen enough ppl with and without adhd try the meds to know the difference. For non-adhd, it’s like nothing, for adhd people, they usually start cleaning shit and doing stuff they were supposed to do 2 weeks ago
lift some heavy round things. pick them up, put them daown, get some muscles. atleast youre depressed then AND jacked
Well, the thing is that exercising still doesn’t cure a lot of things. It’s helpful, and definitely supplements a wide variety of treatments.
Point is, without exercising the wait for diagnosis could be much, much worse
idrk some symptoms I have and some I dont at all which makes me think I aint have it
And after diagnosis exercising will be much easier and the benefits gained from it become consistent and long term
Many of the side effects for most medications will be less severe if you exercise, eat well and sleep well
yea that's fair
god bro
Question about melatonin, should it only be used whenever I struggle to sleep on time or when my sleep schedule gets messed up?
when you struggle to sleep
depends on you though
If u can’t sleep any day at all u take daily
I’d only take it when u really struggle cause it can give u annoying ass side effects
am i supposed to feel this in the inner elbow too?
yes, those are the muscles you are stretching
The usecase is very limited and is just showing major benefits in people with a genetic sleeping disorder. Keep in mind that those people they researched took atleast 2mg, the over the counter stuff is dosed at 0.5mg. In contrast the „healthy“ people with or without sleeping problems reduced their time to fall asleep by 2-5 minutes which is statistically „irrelevant“. So: if you have the money for it go and try it out, but keep in mind the dosage
Yea what’s surprising is that the normal dosage is so low but they sell 10mg like it’s nothing and people just assume that means better sleep
Best way to sleep is to practice proper sleep hygiene, which basically just means being tired when you go to bed, only sleep in your bed and have your body run on a schedule
And if you have a sleep disorder, it can fuck with each one of these, so sleeping becomes increasingly difficult.
But you can also cause yourself incredible mental anguish without having a sleep disorder, if you just don’t sleep when you should.
yeah, supplement industry is clever in marketing and is easily reaping in the money from people who are desperate. they have to justify the pricetag somehow, even if all of it is major bullshit for the vast majority of people who use it
Well I pretty much have that down
Well I guess not being tired when I go to bed I’m tired all the time
Whether or not I just finished a workout, had a healthy meal or on 200mg of caffeine it’s pretty much similar
And usually between 12pm - 4 pm I have this like super huge tiredness wave that’s just so draining
Then I usually start to feel better and more awake at night
FYI just installed blackout curtains so hopefully that helps a little, especially when the sun rises directly in front of my window
that after dinner tiredness fucks me up too, some sugar helps me. i usuallly eat a banana for that
I meant near noon, after lunch
im usually more awake at night than I am when I wake up
oh nevermind i meant lunch not dinner, i forgot thats a difference
Also focus on waking up at the same time.
I do
I lay down by 11:45 and be asleep by 12 and wake up at 9
what helped me improve my sleep quality was 30min-1hours before going to bed stopping to do any stressful stuff: playing games (fuck cs) scrolling social media or whatever. just you and your thoughts before going to bed for an hour or 30minutes
I mean idk I usually use night mode to cancel out blue light and chill or just listen to a YouTube video and try not to watch it
I’d get pretty bored lmfao
well I mean I'm always bored I guess
the art in winding down is learning to be bored, and to stay bored. im not joking when i say that people arent able to be bored anymore. bored? instant distraction with something else. absolutely deadly for your brain
The best thing I can think of is trying to read, but I suck at reading I always zone off or read the same sentence twice or more
Or just forget the second I read it
So not the greatest experience
i can recommend being bored more. you spend more time with your thoughts that way that otherwise will get to you once you go to bed
Weird thing that’s probably unrelated but curious about sleep positions, I wake up sometimes and my hand is numb because I was sleeping on it or something like that, but it’s practically impossible to sleep on my back
I usually either sleep on my side or on my stomach
just tuck it under your pillow to avoid that. i have second smaller one for that because i find it uncomfortable having my hand under the big one
Fair
Curious about the sugar thing because wouldn’t that be more likely to cause a crash? Also isn’t like a sudden burst of energy a myth, sugar rush I mean
in adolescent people yeah, you wont eat that amount of sugar and youre probably already used to high amounts cuz 'merica. but in little children? absolutely they are on crack then
and youre not diabetic either so no worries, sugar is still energy and fructose for example gets a tad slower broken down than the usual "refined" sugar from sugarbeets
That’s understandable
Hey gang long story short I think I have tennis elbow from playing any way you reduce the pain / discomfort?
Sugar gives you energy in a biological sense. It doesn’t jolt your brain or anything like that. Just restores your depleted atp stores. Which is why sipping sugary drinks is a scientifically proven way to restore energy to your brain when studying, especially with adhd
rest and OTC pain meds
light stretching also
Never had L-Theanine in my life I think and many people suggests it for aim training? What does it do and how much should I be taking per day
It’s supposed to make you relaxed without tiredness, usually I take it with caffeine at a 2:1 ratio, 100mg caffeine 200mg l theanine
It’s said to smooth out the energy and cause like a balanced state of alertness with relaxation
Also said to counteract the jittery or anxious feelings from caffeine
Normal dosing is usually between 100-400mg
Aiming without an armrest feels very uncomfortable but it feels like I have a greater range of motion and thus better tracking when I do… any suggestions on how to get rid of the discomfort?
If it isn't painful on your shoulder just play more and you'll get used to it
FYI armrests aren't necessarily bad
does your health even matter if your gold in like every game ever
let me give you a different view. If you are shit at running but still run for fun, do you want to get injured?
I believe you mean, that because you don't play as much you are not necessarily gonna injure yourself, which is probably true, but if you are concerned just do some stretching and you should be fihe
then tbh just do some stretching. It'll only take a couple of minutes and will lessen the chances by a lot.
Noted
Lmao i’ve had carpal tunnel pretty bad before
Idk if it necessarily “goes away” or just subdues but regardless i feel you
oh then pls at least stretch, maybe even do some strenching
Not from shooters honestly it was rhythm games but regardless i can still do stretches, im sure it wouldnt hurt
but at the end of the day it's still extreme stress on the wrist/fingers/arm
I wonder how muscian deal with it
True true
They dont i’ve known plenty of piano players and almost all of them had carpal tunnel
damn
Yo, what can I do about sweating palm, my mouse and hands always clean and washed, but anyway it happens while training in kovaaks / playing , I have an idea to try sleeve that covers palm partly, but maybe anyone can give me a advice?
do yk if 200 mg of both is fine too?
200mg is a little much caffiene just for gaming tbh
The 400mg I just blasted says otherwise
chill bro
lmfao
I mean I can consume more if I want
but I already get bad withdraws despite taking 100-250 daily
just do meth atp
Probably mental issue
hello everyone
@wild grove
i started digging in this channel and this video helped me a lot. thank you so much
ye i'll make a less cringe impromptu version eventually
but i can't explain with words
sometimes u need a video
@visual fiber Can you start going to the gym pls? Ur Like 5'3 215 pounds
Oh my days why is the gay Polish femboy talking
No bro
Im on estrogen
Why is the gay trans Polish femboy talking
Estrogen is the tech to get better at aiming
piss testing when
Does a perc-30 increase performance
HELL YEAH
TWIN when did u hurt ur wrist i did like 2 and a half weeks ago 💔and now for everyone i know i’m becoming a big advocate for stretching 😭
How badly carpal tunnel affects aim? Apart from pain (only when using very high sens or bending wrist), I feel like I have less control over micros and such. Maybe it's just in my mind, but it really bothers me.
i dont think you should be straining your wrist at all in the first place
if you already have carpal tunnel
😭
its literally just gonna get worse
im no health expert tho
the thing is, I've returned to fps after 6 months break and didn't have carpal tunnel symptoms during these 6 months. It WAS issue before, when I was grinding, but I just stopped and carpal tunnel stopped being an issue too
now it slowly comes back tho
numbness and pain
And I dont play crazy sens like 20cm, it's just 45cm on average
exactly, I don't want anyone experience the withdrawl, I have felt
my wrist is technically still not fully healed, but who cares
yeah mine isnt either, its getting better now tho i can tell so im gonna wait until im fully healed
are you stretching before playing
like I'm fully healed for gaming, but when I do like push ups, I feel it
ah i see i see, im not fully healed for gaming yet 💔
don't worry, the path is not going to run away
yesyes
not really
probably should start doing wrist stretches before you play, especially since you are already feeling pain, i wouldnt even play if i was you since ur feeling pain
it's time to start my 100cm arc..
yes
in #cs2 i learned i have to become smarter to practice and play more efficient, how I do it?
new intelligence maxxing method just dropped
Yo if im tired af should I just skip kovaaks or suffer and force myself through a playlist?
Nah like I think they ment I should not mindless do my tasks, so question is what do you do to keep engaged in aim training or when playing
remove all distractions that you can
go into games with a goal in mind
What do you mean carpal tunnel
?
Ok well ask ur doctor what to do then
that's not what i asked
Very btw
It affects like anything you need to do with your hands honestly
It sucks to have
Though are you straining really hard when you aim or have you just been training for a long time
mostly time ig? i dont really strain my wrist, my hand is relaxed when i play, but sometimes you just need to flick quick very fast and yeah
i did stretches today and it helped a lot
didnt realize it
before
when youre playing, does ur keyboard wrist/lower palm touch the desk or is it floating? lately my keybaord shoulder started aching after a bit of gaming and idk why
how do people play ranked for 8+ hours without getting tired, i really wanna go pro and am commited to playing, and it's a lot of fun to improve, but i need to be no lifing the game if i want any chance, and i'm just too tired to play at my fullest, what can i do to remedy this?
is icing wrist after putting a little too much over time in a good idea?
what game?
valorant
oh alr
idk i guess like with your question like are you concerned about being too tired to focus and really improve or like whats the root of the question
Why do you think you need to play for 8+ hours to become pro?
You have a medical issue and you’re bothered with hypothetical effects on video game performance
By pure motivation, enjoyment, and years of built up stamina for long sessions of gaming
games been out for 5 years, people have insane amounts of hours and experience, every radiant ive spoken to has said id need to no life the game to achieve the goals i want
imo nolifing the game doesn't mean playing ranked for 8 hours, better to play less games where you're 100% locked in
rest spend on vod reviews, mechanics, util etc etc
I’m not one to say anything but I climbed the most when I played the least, quality of games > quantity. Playing 8 hours a day will not help u improve and if anything will hinder u because ur brains not meant to stare at a screen for that long. Take breaks reflect on ur gameplay and play with intent to improve.
I play 25cm/360 in every shooter i play i aim with my wrist mostly but now my wrist hurts when i play should i go lower sens?
Why even ask 😭 could also be ur mouse tho and if u take breaks whole u play or stretch before and after ur session. Could be a lot of different things but lower sens could help.
i think this should go here but ive noticed that my adhd jitters affect my aim alot and cause a constant shake motion is there anything to do that since for the past few days its just been none stop
Anyone got any tips to reduce eye strain when playing aim trainers? Everytime I play kovaaks, my eyes start to strain yet in game it feels perfectly fine.
This will sound dumb, but, actually blink. Like sometimes a person can be staring / trying to focus on stuff for a long period of time without blinking, like when say, trying to read the targets' movements. But you gotta like actually blink / find times to blink if needed.
my keyboard shoulder started weirdly to fatigue so quickly in gaming sessions, it used to be my mouse shoulder but after i adjusted my chair height and everything it started to fatigue, i could like play 2 or 3 games before it starts to hurt so much, i bought this elbow rest to help it but it really didnt do anything, im really confused on what to do cuz both my arms are at around 90 degress and somewhat parallel
wtf is this attachment
Sit higher and scoot your chair in
lmao its basically an arm rest figured it might be the reason cuz pain started after i removed it from my chair
oh this is really neat it answers all my schizo questions thank u so much
but same thing eva said whenever i go to that position stability becomes really difficult
Define stability
I tend to sit a bit lower in the chair for clicking tasks so I can get better contact to the desk
But for tracking?
I always try to start from a high position
Then slink down as I need
moving from left to right feel really awkward in reactive scenarios always landing far from target like i have no control opposed when chair is lower
Reactive is kind of like clicking for me as well; my goal isn’t to say ‘you have to sit like this’, just establish a base awareness of where to start
i see then il keep lowering it lil by lil til it feels stable
what are hte basics of starting to care for / protect my wrists? my wrists have had pain before but i did some like forearm exercises, and now that ive started playing koavaaks a lot more (sometimes like 3+ housr per day) i want to take preventative measures instead of changing it up once it starts hurting
stretch mainly
this guy knows what's up
I have this issue whenever I put some form of tension in my jaw it pops 1 or the other ear. it makes like a gritty sound and somewhat feels like it could be liquid? they also started sometimes hurting whenever I get a headache. I only remembering it happening after a plane ride, I was told my ear drums were ruptered but I did see a doctor and said that there isn't any scarring. not sure if this is like a ETD thing or something
I probably should see a ENT but I'm curious if anyone knows or has an idea of what it might be 😭
I had a shoulder injury around 7 years ago, which resulted in my right shoulder being clicky if I try to spin it 360. It could also cause the whole shoulder area to ache when I do heavy stuff like flicking (I flicked my arm once while playing table hockey and had to fix my arm for 2 days)
I tried consulting doctors but they said I can't fix it back into place, so does it affect my aim in a significant way?
Sounds like TMJ
ill look into it
i get shoulder/neck pain on lower sens. any advice?
How do you feel?
Is it just a visual thing
17 is pretty early for anything related to schizophrenia, but if you're noticing changes in your mood and alertness, you should consider seeing a dr
and if it's just a visual thing, maybe go get your eyes checked
It's never really a bad idea to see a doctor if you have sudden changes in your vision, state of mind, etc
The worst thing is that maybe you didn't have anything and you're completely healthy. And that's not really a problem
then you need to discuss it with the dr who prescribed it
erm @empty pendant
ive noticed my eyes feel like they get "cross eyed" a lot when i try to kill an enemy
this only happens in games like cod btw, in battlefield ive never had this issue, same with apex or ow or whatever
idk if this is a "health" issue since it happens only in cod buy its annoying me
Usually it happens to me after I play for longer the 3 hours.
it happens to me no matter how much i play
are you doing any eye warmups
no
i just play some kovaaks then hop in game
what can i do to train my eyes
Elevate your gaming performance with EyeTrainer.gg. Sharpen your aim and improve focus using advanced FPS eye training exercises, dynamic visuals, Up to 540hz.
my eyes can also become blurry when i try to aim at a target- oh shoot
i like to go through this once
it works
ill trust you
how long should i do it everyday?
like 10-15 minutes?
i just do it once right before i start playing
bet thanks
@hazy epoch you think playing brain games can help
im trying to prevent my fast cognitive decline
Guess I gotta fix everything in my life or something like that
my forearm is just twitching randomly ever since i hopped on kovaaks what do i do
why does this part of my shoulder hurt when I aim? (ik the picture shows left, but pretend it's right sided)
I'm sure this is a FAQ, sorry in advance
also whenever you're outside get used to just looking as far as you can into the distance
yh i developed myopia cus of gaming 😭
Hi guys, can anyone help me why does my thumb hurt during playing on my mouse hand? I can provide grip pictures and stuff
i have the same issue, its either u grip your mouse too tight or the mouse you have isnt suitable for your mouse grip/hand size
its happening even when i dont grip it tightly and it only appeared recently after changing mice but i changed from razer viper to wlmouse strider, they are almost the same shape
this is interesting advice, ill keep this in mind lol
I play mostly aimtrainers nowadays so my left hand just sits there lying on my desk not even pressing but just resting on WASD and now its like easy to get fatigued when I do actually play what can I do about it?
Hey ive recently notced ive been missclicking rightclick a lot whenever i left click as well as my fingers tend to lock in place sometimes when aim training. Anyone know anything about resolving this issue?
play more
I guess lol
lack of thoracic spine mobility
check this out
Hello, I get some pain at the resting part of my arm at the desk and the right side of my wrist, do someone know how to fix? I drew this red line to show more or less the spot. Also sometimes get stiff wrist
This is a weird one, when i put my wrist on the desk im slightly pronated so like im actually resting on the outside part of my wrist
shold I be making sure I habe full surface contact with my wrist??
in orde to do this id have to move my arm out so it twists in
Its not weird its normal dont worry
How can I stretch my left thumb if it gets sore from the spacebar after a while of playing
I know this is oddly specific but it really sucks
Wondering if anyone else has the same issue
depends on which part of your thumb muscle you wanna stretch
oh nvm i didnt read from pressing down, gimme a sec
just making sure, it’s not overuse right? cuz my thumb/wrist has been hurting for a while after i didn’t stretch and played way too much
The joint that connects the hand to the thumb
That's really all I have an issue with
I'll take a look
It shouldnt be, thats a different kind of pain for me, but I never streatch it, I think im gonna start and see if it improves
thank u a lot
when ever i push my index finger back it hurts
why does my shoulder hurt when i track
anybody elses back of the hand hurt when aim training
i swear i can play for 4 hours straight but i cant do 2 straight minutes of scenarios
Depending on what you play, aim usually doesn’t really constantly give constant tension
That’s usually the reasoning behind it
Specifically tac shooters
so i should probably do more controlsphere to help manage tension? i play 27cm and i find myself tightening my grip alot more when i microadjust/track slower targets rather than flicking
Yeah, practice smoothness/tension control
Most people have tension issues when starting out so there’s nothing to worry about
27cm is a bit high in my opinion but others would beg to differ
my eyes hurt
Does anyone have any idea how on earth you get rid of brain fog when you're gaming
I feel like as soon as I hop into a game I get this wave of brain fog and it just overwhelms me and I cannot make decisions quick enough to save my life
proper sleep, diet, and excercise
Anybody have the PowerPoint of the effects of caffeine on your brain that was done here recently?
Diagnosis and medication
Diagnosis of what?
Idk
👍
Hello, excuse me for disturbing.
Has anyone here ever had severe neck tension when playing or doing aim training?
It often happens to me while I'm training and at the end of a session I can really have pain in my neck, does anyone have any information or anything like that ?
Thank you for your answer !
Thx you so much dude, I feel my neck much less loaded and lighter
This helps me a lot, thank you so much!
Do you have other symptoms
And what kind of brainfog
Idk like I just can’t focus on anything at all
Does anyone have any recommendations for good chairs for people who are overweight at the moment
how do you do at school/work
I was noticing recently that I was quite negatively set in life and that I was seeing alot of the negative in life.
Yesterday on a caffeinated ow2 drives run I decided to look at all the positives and fully believe in myself. I noticed significantly better results and am applying that currently in training where it's better too.
Has anyone experienced relatively the same? I am curious if this is a just me thing in aimtraining specifically
Yes it makes you better supposing you take the right amount. Too much will cause jitters which might be a problem if you are doing very small precise tracking. Anyways it improves reaction time, focus, synaptic plasticity, et cetera
Only issue is you get a tolerance quickly, personally I would only take caffeine one day and then take two days off, repeat
i have a pretty bad diet and keep getting junk food but i need to stop
how can i solve this
learn how to cook
start from one dish
and a lot of vegetables
Hey guys, I feel like my setup isn’t really aligned properly, but I’m not sure what to change. I’ve got my chair set up right and it feels ergonomically fine. My adjustable desk is at about 72 cm height, but it feels like it should go a bit lower — the problem is that if I lower it more, the tabletop presses against my legs.
I’m about 1.90 m tall. Do I just have unusually long arms, or do you have any idea what I could adjust? I’ve been playing like this for a while and I’m used to it, but it feels like I could get more stability in my aim if my arm rested differently.
Mindset applies to many things in life. Although, personally, I go for a zero expectation mindset (different from high or low expectation), where I just try to notice / be aware of all positive and negative things as a whole, not avoiding either.
Eventually I got used to processing negative feelings pretty quickly as well, so they don't need to linger for long.
IMHO, if you look at everything, not only looking at positives or only looking at negatives, it becomes easier to actually solve problems in life so they don't need to keep spawning negative thoughts and such.
i changed my mindset and the pace i improved at increased by an unreal amount
i reached jade at about 90 hours then fixed my mindset
ended up reaching master in 100 hours and gm in 186
it really does help a lot to have a positive mindset
Hey guys, I feel like I'm getting a little cold inside here. It's probably my tendons, right?
my wrist on my keyboard feels uncomfortable any1 know some fixes ( it hinders my movement by causing strain in my hands)
Put it in rice
how do I get rid of shoulder pain?? I have very good posture but idk if its from overuse or something like that.
like i have the pain in the muscle area and not rlly my bones or what not
Ideally check your posture again, if your hand is constantly floating etc it puts more strain on the shoulder, exercises like https://youtu.be/rjMu52XEX0I can help build more strength and endurance
Get a consult from a doctor that understands gaming here! - https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain/
This video can help with anyone who has shoulder pain with gaming or even neck pain. It helps to address some mid-back mobility and work on key muscles at the shoulder allowing us to maintain better overall shoulder positioning and relieve any pain a...
my hand is never floating and im very relaxed but idk whats causing this
ill check out the vid tho :3 tytyyy
Besides the exercises/stretches recommended in the posture guide, does anyone have any recommendations for supplemental back exercises for posture? I have access to gym equipment and I was thinking using dumbbells for a kind of horizontal shrug at an angle on a bench might help
face pulls are generally good
what you describe is i think kelso shrug?
and u can do Y-raises
for lower traps area
hey guys! I have fibromyalgia issues that cause me a lot of pain after significantly aim training, so I need to balance my time carefully when it comes to what to train in. Any idea on a shorter alternative to VDIM?
my wrist on my keyboard feels uncomfortable any1 know some fixes ( it hinders my movement by causing strain in my hands)
try putting smth under the keyboard
Has anybody figured out if this is a scam or not?
yes?
i have a pain above my elbow on the left hand side on my right arm and weakness in my hand
also my mental sucks atm ive been stuck at the same level for like a year now
Hey guys, im looking for some advice for my desk setup.
I have problems off not knowing how to sit at my table.
I am constantly playing around with desk height and posture. (Somehow I still hit immortal in val)
I am 1m 85cm tall and sit with my knees at a 90 degrees angle.
Currently my desk sits at a height of 81 cm.
Would love to her some advice / tipps on what I might be doing wrong / can do better!

hey guys! I have fibromyalgia issues that cause me a lot of pain after significantly aim training, so I need to balance my time carefully when it comes to what to train in. Any idea on a shorter alternative to VDIM?
just lower the amount of times you do each task and cut out the ones that aren’t variants of benchmark tasks if you’re trying to improve on benchmarks
focus on tension management and ergonomics
Whats the general approach to tension management i want to hold the mouse firmly enough to have some accuracy when i hold it loose its harder
how do i fix neck pain?? I lwky got rid of my shoulder pain now my neck hurt ;c
jk
for example
DEADAHH???
BET
on my left foot i bet
You can simply divide VDIM into segments (i personally do them by 2/3rds when I need to divide) and train at your pace
permanent or after movement/a training session/bad posture? and which part hurts
lwky permanant idk why ;c
Put it in rice
You have 0 tension when you practice. No firmness at all
Do the opposite of what you’re doing right now
I tried that and my accuracy gets cooked
And even then there’s little shakage like the shaking doesnt go away its frustrating
that's why you're supposed to practice
Hello why my hand hurting at that red circled spot I'm concerned it's been 2 days
I was riding my moped 2 days ago and when I got home it start to hurt, I tried to hop on aim training and its hurt much when I'm turning my mouse into left side with my wrist
if it's the back of your neck it's probably bad posture, check monitor height, shrugged shoulders and neck support and also your pillow, then check back in a couple days
If it's a side and the pain's getting better over time it's probably just strain from a bad move, throw an NSAID gel at it but if the pain's not getting better i'd suggest seeing a specialized doctor since it could be tendinitis that needs proper treatment
now my deltoids hurt ;c my neck dont hurt no more wtf man
I CANT HAVE A NORMAL PAINLESS EXPERIENCE
i have to play on controller rn man </3
Arms too far from your torso probably
is it supposed not supposed to be flared out a bit?? like completely aligned with ur shoulder or somethin
flared out?
It's supposed to be a little spread not stuck to your torso of course but not so spread out that you can feel your deltoids stretching
it goes out a little bit, not much at all- like im not WINGING it yk??
table too high?
might wanna stop playing then and relax for a bit, throw an ice pack at it and see tomorrow
your posture's fine based on this pic
i mean do I be playing every damn day tbh 😭 I lwky cant do anything else but play on roller atm lolol
could overuse be a problem too? idk cuz i've never rlly felt this kinda pain tbh
Take a break mate, this doesn't sound like posture pain it could be tendinitis and you might wanna get that checked tomorrow if it doesn't go away. For now just use an ice pack and an NSAID gel if you ahve one
its been going on for like 3 days now but like my dumbass still on kovaaks 😭💔 but i'll take a break for sure-
Could be rsi
i had the same issue but on both sides for almost 2 years , Started Lifting weight/Strength training and within 1 week the issue was gone completely
Is having a tilted wrist in your resting position not recommended or a never do thing?
focus on tension management and ergonomics
Put it in rice
You can simply divide VDIM into segments (i personally do them by 2/3rds when I need to divide) and train at your pace
Ooh I see
Thanks
I’ll ask again because I didn’t get an answer last time, so I have a pain on the back on my hand in the middle weakness in my hand in general, and my fingers constantly shake like tremors I can’t stop when I straighten them, and after aim training i get a like a nerve thing above my elbow on the right hand side which shoots to my pinky?
People here will only be able to speculate, Take a couple days break and go and see a doctor
fair enough mate ill do just that ty
probably a stuck nerve or some shit, do stretches and if it doesn't go away, see a dr
and stop death gripping ur mouse
table too high?
@uneven ivydoes feel like a stuck nerve bro amma go see a doctor about it and i dont death grip either so thats what i was confused about ygm
whats a good chair i can get for under 200$?
i have this issue that when i try to make micro adjustments my wrist just cant move and control my sens which was .175 1600dpi valorant
and i think its probably cause of a physical problem
im underweight and physically weak
im 5,7 with 44kgs and when i move my joints in my body it feels like yk when something gets rusty it has that stuttering kinda feeling to it
that kind of feeling i get when i move my arm my wrist my joints in my whole body like they are rusted idk how to explain it properly and i switched to lower sens cause of this issue
i have been struggling with smoothing my aim too i have tried everything but my aim is not getting fixed cause i cant move my wrist smoothly it’s stuttering like micro adjusting in small pixels kinda
its not smooth
what should i do in order to fix this issue
please help
bulk 🙂 healthier aimers are better aimers
Start going to the gym, makes you feel better too
Try playing more control tracking too I guess
And not tensing your hands because that's probably the issue
I genuinely don't think sens matters
Anything between 0.12 and 0.2 1600 is perfectly fine and definitely not what's holding you back
If your micros are weak, just focus on training them
Just grind tsk smoothness and control tracking
how do i deal with shoulder strain after ~30 mins? it’s really tanking my ability to aim, and it’s not like i play super low sens (usually 20-50cm)
for context, i usually sit very close to my desk (stomach touching table).
my arms are splayed out a little and most of my arm on the desk (except for elbow and a bit of arm). arms are mostly straight on desk (right arm curves very slightly to the left).
i also lean slightly inwards when aiming.
kinda sit similarly to aspas in the image attached, with my arm being much more straight and leaning in further (monitor is further back)
are your shoulders shrugged up
if its the front of your shoulder that hurts, try having your head up high and more in line with your back. It'll straighten your posture and let your shoulders not rotate inside and compress the muscles
i think its more on the top of my shoulder, but i will def try this out
try lowering the desk/raising the chair then
i have my desk about as low as i can and my chair up (chair about 45cm, desk at 65 cm), could it be that my arm is too far forward/out of line with my torso?
or could be a need to stretch/strengthen muscles is what im thinking
Top of shoulder hurts whrn your arm rests too high up
weird, my desk cant really go lower than this cause the frames in the way, using a flexispot e7 if that matters
Try resting your head on the headrest of ylur chair while playing
Learn to feel when your head dips down then, and get it back up 🤷
@summer trout so many bots in here...
bruh this again?
Idk if anyone here are experts but as someone who experience migraines that mimic stroke while these nasty episodes can affect alot of things why don't they affect my ability to play at high levels while it feels like my head feels like it weighs like a car i just have no issues at all playing video games
You know it would be nice on what people's thoughts on why this isn't affected
are those migraines showing up randomly, or during exercise ?
there's this needle prick sensation that feel between my thumb and palm
is that bad? i googled it showed me that could be carpel's tunnel
the needle thing's happening everytime i do long tracking with my arm
what do you guys thing the cause of pain in the yellow-ish green and grey area on the left side of my back could be?
They're something i live with my diagnosis is migraines with aura, intractable
From carrying your team too much
on a serious note, you could be retracting your scapula abit (hunching) or tensing in that area
Who use this Here aimers ?
How much wrist pain is normal? Is that a sign to take a break? I just started doing the VDIM little more than a week ago and usually my wrist is a bit sore by the end, but I just started today and it's already sore
Okay this is not posture related, i'm not going to be of any help
0 from my experience
Anyone got chair recommendations? I’m decently tall 183cm but I’m very skinny and none of the chairs I have had can adjust armrests to the proper width and have the backing at the proper height, I got back issues and the fact I can’t ever have proper support when I play is making it so I have to stop playing and I really don’t want to
imo it's normal to feel some strain after long sessions especially when training everyday, but if it's pain then yeah that is a sign to take a break
But it really depends on where your pain is and by what it's caused so
what was wrong with the armrests? Too wide apart?
yh and my backing has bad adjustments where i can only lock it too far back or too much to the front so i cant ever rest my back 😭
takes a lot out of me to play even one game like this and i really wanted to push for asc this act but i cant sit properly on ts and my doctor told me its gonna be bad if i dont so i might need to quit if i cant find something better
feels like all the shit i do at therapy is insta undone after even an hour sitting in this chair bro
ive been just putting up with it for the past couple of months but i cant anymore
what kind of chairs have you been trying, for armrests I can definitely recommend looking for 4d adjusting next, I'd assume most okayish chairs would do okay with the back support/adjustment
I’ve only rlly had office chairs and ikea office chairs because I never had my own money to spend before until recently, but they weren’t completely cheap still very bad tho
Honestly I don’t know where to look for chairs that are decent quality at all bc my current one was like 400 dollars (if u convert currency) but the back adjustments are bad and don’t fit me at all same with arm rests 😭 closest they go is too far for me by a lot
Ideally you'd check out local chair stores, try them out and see, last time I was researching chairs I went over a bunch of btodtv tier lists so I can recommend that
Sadly not really a thing where I live
I mean there are stores with chairs just not ones that specifically sell them and never many options lol
You're in EU?
Poland yeah
Closest thing to a chair store I’ve seen is bodzio meble lol
My mother said she could let me see the guy who she buys chairs from for her work but she said they’re not very comfortable so idk
Try to checking out btodtv to see what you think are good chairs that also fit your budget, you might find a polish shop that can simply ship it from another city, even across EU is okay, offeco even offers some refurbished options
Okay will do, thank you
I've been grinding hard on kovaaks and valorant for about a week and a half now, and i woke up yesterday with a pain in my thumb when i move my wrist to the max it can go (left and right) and it hasnt gone away. when I play the pain isnt there but when i pick up something it tends to have pain (i dont use my wrist much in my grip/aim style). I wondered if anyone had any idea of possible reasons/fixes I can attempt to do.
This is a while later, but thanks for the advice and naming Kelso shrugs, it's been helpful
look up mattyow wrist exercise videos
Look 1 hp's free wrist pain guides, helps me alot
actually tysm, found an exercise that targets the exact part of the hand i need it to.
i appreciate it
All thanks to 1hp, i find it really helpful as it gives exercises based on the part of the hand not just overall exercises
Is the wrist area where a watch would sit meant to touch the pad ive been having pain as i push it down because it lifts upwards off the pad but I pivot there just trying to stop the pain i get
?
where can i find it
Search on google 1hp free wirat pain guide
yeah ty bro
mattyow has videos on wrist exercises, you should do those
@fluid marsh can you help here?
You shouldn't push it hard, you should just drop it naturally
is there any way i can tell if wrist pain is coming from aimimg or from gym
when i just get on and warmup my hands are extremely shaky its hard to aim. Sometimes it will continue throughout the day. What could it be? I don't drink caffeinated drinks
Hi i did 1 hour on kovaak trying viscose benchmarks, now my 4th and 5th fingers hurt. I always warmup my hands before playing but that was like 4hours before playing kovaaks. Any tips on how to avoid this?
You'll get stronger the more you do it💪
probably a long shot but does anyone else have an Intraocular lens in their left or right eye?
take breaks
dont summon satan or whtever
what
what u js wrote sounded like an incantation
Anybody know why my upper arm feels tired after 1 match of overwatch?
It constantly feels tired even tho I’m not on super low sens (30cm/360). I make sure most of my forearm is on the table and make sure my posture is straight
This used to happen to me a crazy ton, it could be a lot of different things but in my personal case it was a combination of chest tightness that lead to overactive trap engagement in the opposite arm and that lead to constant shoulder->long bicep head activation which would constantly fatigue my arm when aim training, i recommend doing some research on internal and external rotation shoulder benchmarks and see if you lack in any of those departments too
just sounds like an excessive amount of tension is being used
Probably, I'm still getting used to arm aiming (since the 26th) so I'm conscious when using it every time I'm on the game
hey guys question going in an unusual direction
have u guys noticed aim training affecting real life hand eye coordination? particularly catching and throwing stuff
hi, when i play this (KovaaKsMountingBurntorangeCashdrop) scenario, everytime i track from right to left, the slightest movement of my wrists causes a sharp needle prick in my wrists, idk why this is happening, it started 2 weeks ago.
u prolly need to do wrist exercises or go to the docter if this does not work
@tulip notch
I wanted to ask if i need to do stretching or endurance exercises of wrist even i don't feel pain or can i skip them?
yes to both
Do both?
yes
i think this counts as a health question so my vision is pretty bad and im currently waiting for my updated lenses for my perscription but every time ive been aim training im really having trouble focusing on targets without it becoming really blurry kinda? or like i start to get rlly bad triple vision do i js ditch aim training until i get my new lenses or is there any way to still like improve my scores without straining the fuck out of my eyes
and its not like something that gets worse over time its just every time i get on i like, struggle really bad focusing on targets without it straining or feeling weird
also im kinda scared that when i do get my new lenses im gonna be like permanently stuck in progress? cause my eyesight has gotten worse over the past like 6 months ive had my current glasses
Probably best to ask your optometrist about the focusing issues. Im assuming youre a bit younger if your eyes are progressively getting worse. Don't train too long past when you notice your focusing issues, strain will not help your decline in vision. Spend at LEAST 30 minutes outside WITHOUT your glasses on, supposedly this can help slow down prescription progression. Im not entirely sure if thats true though, but an older optometrist told me this years ago
I dont see why a new prescription would hinder your progress though.
i would also play around with monitor brightness, distance from your monitor and things like that to try and manage eye fatigue
tbh i was thinking about it cuz my optometrist told me that my vision will get worse into my early 20s so thats kinda what i meant
Depends at the rate your vision is declining now, but it will usually slow down around 20's late teens. at least it did for me
but yeah ill try that i lowkey need to stop using such high brightness on most of my devices anyways😭
its pretty bad im ngl
like i didnt think my vision got much worse but
Yeah, look i dont think blue light or eye strain itself will speed up much of a decline as far as im aware theres conflicting studies etc but its still good to manage these things especially if your eyes lose focus and strain anyways. If youve told your eye doctor about the focusing stuff im sure it will be all sorted in ur new prescription
i mean like they didnt really tell me about ways to reduce eye straining so i was like super worried i was gonna feel like this way about looking at my monitor forever
Does anyone know how to deal with eyes stinging while aim training? I used to be good to go just applying some dry eye eye drops which definitely helped me out a bunch but now it seems like not even those are working anymore. I've tried various solutions online, like messing with my monitors settings, washes, compresses and so on, but nothing seems to be working. It's definitely been impacting my grinding lately
take a break from the screen. Move your head away from the monitor and do eye exercises to give your eyes a rest. The best solution in your case would be to go to the doctor.
Is it normal for your aim to get worse after heavy lifting even two days after the fact?
Do you guys think you aim better when you build more muscle? I remember seeing a thing where the more fat you are the more smoother you can aim but the more skinny the more shakey, but I ask dis because all of the best aimers like Hauntr, and Zell are super jacked in my opinion! I mean it would make sense but I am interested on your guys thoughts!
i mean being healthy definitely helps
can't really tell if muscle itself does
the best static player rn is mega jacked but mattyow(best overall) i wouldn't say is..
Ever since i got back into aim training ive been getting these random short stinging pains on the areas highlighted in the picture every couple minutes and its kind of weird.. Anyone know what this is and how i could fix it?. I also feel them on the other side mainly on the Forearm, Kind of hindering my scores
Having more muscle can allow for more fine motor control, less fatigue etc. So its possible that the stronger and bigger you are musculature wise that it could benefit your aim. But to what extent , would depend on the person and what their starting point was to begin with. If you started while already muscular, the benefits of getting even bigger would probably be 0. But if you were super skinny or super overweight, it might have more of an effect.
deifnitely not, no, however, cognitive benefits from cardiovascular exercise have been proven for some time & overall better blood flow and such probably helps, especially long term
the primary thing proven from cardiovascular exercise (anything that gets the heart pumping) has to do with memory
i believe studies are on better long term brain support & some others are on doing cardio around some 'learning session'
I do notice when I do Cardio and then play I play better!
Thanks oyu! :)
strange how it works, iirc it has been proven to have preventative properties for memory deterioration
Wat is Memory deterioration? I feel like I think I know wat you mean because when I talk to somebody after running in Cardio I feel like I don't remember wat they said especially if they said their name!
basically memory loss due to aging, long term
in terms of short term, ive found the difficulty of the run determines how primed for learning i feel lmfao
if im gassed beyond my limits and require time to recover my breaths and such, you best believe i am not primed to learn
i believe the learning boost around the time you learn is less proven than the long term memory things
i wouldn't say definitely not, but i do agree in the sense that its not a reason to gain muscle/be healthier as the benefits are probably so miniscule over other benefits like you mentioned which are much more helpful
the part that would be important would just be the process of gaining muscle (nutrition, sleep, etc) rather than the muscle itself really
Yep forsure
any help would be appreciated
why do I feel like its hard to stop tensing once I notice I was tensing? do I have like carpal tunnel or something my wrist gets tired so easily
same my man
Lowering tension once it is accumulated is a skill in and of itself. Might be worth to practice it specifically during a run if you feel yourself getting close to locking out over score farming for that run. Also might be over using wrist? Hard to say without more info
yea I don't really know how to explain it, I even notice it outside of aiming like when I'm writing
Hmm. Yea, outside my knowledge unfortunately. Prolly worth mentioning to your doctor next time u have a check up or something. If there’s no pain it shouldn’t be too scary? 1hp has some wrist exercises I believe, could be worth a shot
its not really pain, just fatigue and maybe some sort of pressure in my wrists, I can try that though.
the weird thing is it only happened once I quit aim training for a bit, I didn't have it before. Once I came back I just had perm terrible tension management. I went to the doctor at one point maybe a month or 2 ago and he did some weird ass tests to see if I felt any pain or anything and he basically just said its most likely overuse of the wrist
although I havent been aim training hard or anything like that ever since I stopped
one thing I noticed is that wrist exercises cause my aim to be super shaky after
That is definitely fatigue. I usually play some other more chill game before aimtraining after the gym if I work arms
I mean I barely have done anything today lol
wrists are delicate muscles so imo it makes sense even if it was light exercise
yea that's fair, but its almost an everyday thing. I notice it more when aimtraining obviously because that's way more demanding but it still happened even after I stopped for 1-2 months
once i start tensing in a task, its really hard for me to figure out how to stop, like what it feels like to stop tensing
Honestly don’t know any tips for wrist tensing. My tension management isn’t really at that level yet. Untensing large muscles like in the arm or more lengthy members like the fingers are a bit easier. Arm is pretty naturally just flexing and fingers is detensed by kind of “letting go” of the mouse or arching my fingers more if I’m really super tense (I use fingertip grip btw)
Yea im not really sure, its hard for me to tense anything BUT the wrist, and whenever i start tensing it feels like i cant stop
I honestly have no idea though like it’s super hard to explain how it feels and stuff 😭
Post #1153030249198669884 and hope a better player can take a look lol
Now I know why I get sever pain from playing games.
this is a CRAZY angle
I kinda posted this in frustration, but you made me laugh. It is pretty suggestive 😅
Can someone help me figure out why gaming is causing me serious back and knees pain?
how are we supposed to know digitally
Does anyone else find them selves loosing focus and just everything becoming blurry sometimes
Move gang don't sit too long
Is there a channel without rage baiters that might be able to help me?
This vid might help, knee pain is a weird one tho https://youtu.be/dxV-yImHXSw?si=Y-V-a4FIfYhAJKL4
we need some details can't help without em
like back pain seems pretty obvious that it's from too much sitting?
but knees no clue
gaming isn't any more straining than just sitting in a chair for these
Developing some pain in the top side of my wrist and middle of the hand, any good stretches? Ive looked up some on YT, and Ive been doing them, but the pain in my wrist isn't going away. The pain isn't unbearable and I would rate it like a 2/10 with being a chronic 3/10 at the very worst, I just dont want it to develop into something worse
Besides being typically cheaper per dose, are there any other useful benefits of caffeine pills over something like an energy drink?
Caffeine pills are not useful
Neither are energy drinks
Elaborate?
I really struggle with eye fatigue over the course of a single challenge. Any tips for handling that?
I have to put mental effort in coordinating my blinks when strafes start so I can blindly follow until I can see properly
This is particularly noticeable on challenges like Controlsphere Far, Far Larger 90%, while statics are easier because I can reset my eyes during flicks
no, not particularly, no
many people on the fitness side of things utilize caffeine pills for cost efficiency, the only notable difference there is you'd miss out on a handful of the other ingredients energy drinks put in them (usually something with less study-backed data than caffeine anyways) but truthfully, even then, they're all under dosed amounts of those things anyways
i mean post in advice im not to sure and it could be your posture diet health idk
move around more
i get wrist pain easy. once of my favorite and most relieving stretches I do is pull my thumb straight back along it's natural path (what feels the most comfortable) and stretch it far back, then hold it brielfy. This is the singular most helpful styretch i've personally found.
Next i do my fingers, sometimes one at a time, sometimes grouped together 2 fingers at a time. Same stretch as thumb.
Last i push alll my fingers at the same time, essentially my wrist, back. Then do some wrist circles and it feels so much better aftrer that (at least for several more scens before it gets tight again)
should my back be against the back of the chair? whenever I do I can't really touch the ground with my feet though.. but then I feel too short and I can't lower my desk height
I think my chair is just terrible for this its a cheap one and doesn't feel like it has much support lmao
idrk how to like arch the bottom of my back, I get confused about that the most
it should be a natural position, same as if you were just standing
Yea idk man 😭
It feels impossible unless I actually had someone with me irl showing
Looking at videos don’t help because I can’t feel what they feel and can’t really look at how I’m sitting
i mean ur chair should already have a curve
Kinda but it seems to like bend back too much
do ppl use the back of the chair? I can't move my arm back at all if I do
has anyone here dealt with rsi? if so what were the onset symptoms
cause i’ve had a minor pain in my wrist and stiffness that’s been slowly building over the last month and it’s pretty hard to ignore now lol
I think i’m increased risk as well cause i aim train a lot and my job involves repetitive movements of the wrist / lifting
am i cooked
Mild discomfort and/or soreness, tingling, numbness or stiffness are the early symptoms.
Probably should see a doctor if you can.
Is bending middle finger necessary during control tracking? I recently tried the clover's grip and some air scenarios and i also implemented higher tensions and i noticed mild pain in my thumb joint after it. I don't know what has caused it
not necessary at all no
might be good to get some strength training in
any type of exercise tbh
idk if you're issue is fixed but my friend had this issue, minus the knee. He had really bad chronic lower back pain, mind you this guy is pretty physically fit. Culprit was his chair! We found out after I hung out at his place and I sat in his gaming chair for 1 hour and I had to go through 1 night of lower back pain. So maybe your chair or something in your setup is compromising your posture and causing pain.
I also think it's my chair because I just recently purchased it but I genuinely don't know what's wrong with it
All I know, is ever since I got this chair my upper back, and behind my knees are in horrible pain
GG unlucky you might have to change chairs or make adjustments to ur chair 🫡
Just to make sure I'd also sacrifice a friend or someone you know to sit in your chair for like 1 hour
So after purchasing this chair I really don't have any extra money to spend to buy another one. I was kinda hoping someone could help me figure out what's wrong with it and maybe I could find a cheaper solution
Like I've tried placing pillows behind my back
I see 🤔 I'm gonna guess btw that your new chair is an upgrade from the old one. Well I did a little research (like 5 mins) and stumbled on this thread:
https://www.reddit.com/r/OfficeChairs/comments/1bepyqu/new_ergonomic_chair_seems_to_cause_more_pain/
Assuming 1) Ur posture is "fine"( as in you don't look like a 🦐 when you sit), 2) this chair is really new( purchased less than 2 weeks ago ), and 3) Your upper back doesn't have any issues. Then maybe the pain ur experiencing is just ur body getting used to a new gaming posture!? So maybe u gotta play the painful waiting game.
btw I'm no expert I'm just throwing out ideas 😭
It absolutely isn't necessary. Your fingers should rest with the least ampunt of effort and tension possible at any time on your mouse
Yes, i noticed that its a technique issue and not a finger placement issue and i am training my fingers. Also i am doing the exercises by 1hp and it helped me a lot of reduce the stiffness after i aim trained
I've ordered a finger resistance band and i will also train finger endurance with that
relatable
i used to have a chair with wheels but it felt unstable for my back
so i used a chair that had no wheels
Start with much less sets/reps than you'd think
The range between fiber strengthening and fiber injury is mighty thin
Wish i could lock the wheels on my Embody
Has anyone else dealt with full body acne, like acne everywhere including the neck back ears legs calves pelvic region etc, like I’m not unhygienic I shower everyday and I make sure to drink at least 3L of water a day but I’m unsure how to treat this properly. For my face at least I use niacinimide and salicylic acid but the rest yeah no clue
Thanks for that ♥
Everyone uses those at my climbing gym, and everyone fucks at least one finger up bc of that, they add fatigue on already damaged fingers, usually one or two just give up
How much reps ypu recommend per day and when to progress
at first, only 1x15 or 2x10 per hour or so
after like 5 sets you'll have done enough for the day
only once you have great stamina you can build up serious numbers
guys after aim training I feel like my fingers are getting stiff and hurting, can you recommend any stretching?
- Physically warm up before aim training (pistol squats, knuckles to the ground, pushups, whatver you like)
- Play with less tension. You could be Bronze or GM, this advicd works at any skill range. Achieveing the same score woth less tension than before is absolutely an improvement.
- For stretches, ideally you'd do those before, during and after playing. Short list for fingers :
- clench the fingers as tight as they'll go, but dont engage the thumb. Roll the fingies as small as it'll go, for about 20-30s. Repeat a few times if you feel lile your hands are still cold.
- hold your arm steady, grab a thumb with your other hand and bring it towards your face for 30s.
- only do this one if you're comfortable w it, but place your fingers on the side of a table (i'side part of the fingers against the countertop) and walk up to the edge of the table/lift your wrists or elblws while kepping the fingers pressed down for 10-30s.
think you it feel better
hey I just did my viscose benchmark today like the whole 36 scenarios, and for some reason the area around my wrist feels hurtful. Im not new to aim training and am kind of used to to training for an hour or longer when Im not playing any other game that specific day. I need some help regarding how I can ease up this pain and is it normal? if not then what I should be doing differently. I am aware I dont do tension management properly and am working on it

Ah, noble inquirer, your mention of "VT Arno" and "VT siwi" stirs within me a curious intrigue akin to the excitement one feels when gazing upon a freshly prepared taco, adorned with succulent meats and vibrant toppings. However, I must confess that the precise meaning of these terms eludes my comprehension, as they do not align with the grand tapestry of knowledge I possess.
Might you elaborate further upon these enigmatic phrases? I stand ready to assist you, much like a steadfast knight prepared to defend a castle, whilst simultaneously pondering the vast array of taco fillings that could grace my plate!

In the past few days i noticed tenderness in my thumb's tendon. I haven't changed anything in my training. I wonder why it is happening.
Are you using claw grip ?
Yes i use claw grip
Nailed it.
Use less arch in your thumb, and if possible don't press as hard into your mouse.
Ideally the thumb is in line with the wrist, not pressed down
Hmm i noticed it also andwas thinking to apply it next time i play
Thanks
Too much tension
Play for shorter sessions
does anyone know anything about chlorine dioxide (ClO2)?
You wanna bleach your house ?

Is shifting my grip (subconsciously) during a scenario, particularly during TSing a sign of a mouse that’s too small? I have long slender fingers and a pretty large palm and use a op18k. I also notice pain inbetween my pinky and ring finger at times
if your grip shifts, try using more tension on your fingertips to lock the mouse into place
my hand generally js feels cramped with the mouse
more than that.
that's due to you putting isolated clamp force on your tendons trying to hold the mouse with fingers. a lot of grip finding comes after many hours of constant playtime so your body/brain automatically will find a position where nothing hurts, the least effort to do so. where it feels "natural"
at the beginning of your session you'll go in high intensity and consciously do everything to acquire the competitive highground. alas, it will hurt places where you put the most stress on
ive put 70h into kovaaks now, and many many more in aiming as a whole so sounds odd to me
just got a standing desk. what height should I have it set to ?
so you have a 90 degree angle at the elbow
and can move your arm around planted without having too much weight on it
Most likely your fingerd are too long flr the little space in on the curve of the OP1. Try gripping further back, more like Ftip
no
id say the opposite
a good mouse you should be able to adapt your grip depending on the situation and it should still feel natural
well it causes my pinky and ring finger knuckle lots of pain after a bit of time
sort of sharp
guys is it possible that i have a hand tremor if i cant eat a soup with a spoon?
how to fix 🥲
Get a doc to prescibe you a ct scan, or rmi
Electromyogram, radiography of the shoulders, etc
Anything to spot what's wrong with your hands and the chain
that sounds expensive af icl
thanks for the help
advice*
i ll go figure out if i can get this covered by public healthcare
yeah depends on your country unfortunately
i have a genuine question, do u guys ever play without pain? like can you go on a 3 hour sessions without feeling anything on ur back or shoulder from the first 30 mins? i get fatigued pretty quickly even tho ive been with a physical therapist for 4 months and i never got any better, and ive been having this pain for like 4 years that i forgot the feeling of playing with no pain
Pain free my brudda, something must be wrong and that pt guy must be scamming you, I would find a different guy
its a 2nd pt and all gave me same diagnoses, unlucky i guess
I'm in kinda desperate situation atm, I already started playing a lot more casually and stopped aim training (do it only once in a while \ after a long break) but my wrist strains way too fast atm. It also clicks a lot at this bone part.
To be more precise, I have some pain at this wrist bone part on pinky side and overall have "strain" feeling at top side of wrist, like it's tired out, even after I played for like 30 minutes.
I tried multiple strengthening exercises, stretches ect. I switched from viper mini to thorn, it helped a lot, but didn't fix it. I tried to place my hand different ways (closer\further from body, pin wrist to mousepad or hold it slightly above). Changing desk height.
But sadly nothing yet helped to fix it. I even start to feel that strain when I'm not playing but just simply working and holding mouse for a day.
If someone has any idea if that can be fixed somehow, I will appreciate it.
idk if u are athletic or strong but I had similar problems until I just went to the gym and I came back to it and no pain what so ever. I do stretches and strengthening exercises since im more serious about aim training now but it should not be giving bad pain
I often have back pain, specifically in my right shoulder blade. I've had this for over a year, only when I play aim trainers for extended periods. I recently realized that I unconsciously raise my shoulder during these sessions, and this, combined with my hunched posture while playing because I use a chair without a backrest, contributes to the problem. I don't know if this applies to you, but personally, it helps to sit up straighter and try to lower my shoulder as soon as I notice it rising. I hope this helps.
Anyone else have migraines that could get triggered by playing too much Kovaaks or an otherwise aim trainer
I'm go to gym 2-3 times a week, sadly doesn't help. And for me it's not even aim training giving pain, but just playing :E
is iit normal for a strained wrist/arm after static grinds
I woumd point at lack of sports or exercise during the week, no stretches before your gaming sessions, and or no pauses during that sessions
And that's assuming you have perfect posture, which is unlikely for anyone
im honestly thinking my posture is pretty bad, i sometimes slouch when i get too locked in the game but i try my best to stay upright.
also did an MRI and turns out i have a tendinitis on my rotator cuff and thats probably from my posture aswell, gotta fix it asap.
I want to try Rhodiola rosea has anyone tried it before and how did you find it?
have been using it for the last 7 years
will not go away from my cupbaord, it's great
exactly what i wanted to hear, thank you for that.
ive heard about a bunch of people having major benefits from it so going to hop on the train and see how it goes
i absolutely adore Siberian Eleuthero alongside it, great xhen your sleep isnt at its best
absoloutely perfect considering ive just been up for 30 hours
almost 30 i beleive its just under 26
do you have a specific brand of the eleuthero you use?
nootropicsdepot for everything
perf, thanks!
put your ass as deep into the chair as it goes
and make sure your back has contact with the backrest as often as possible, with as much surface area, so your back is actually resting on it
If you want to be in a forward position, just bring your chair closer to the table and make sure your backrest is at the most forward angle
unfortunately my chair if i put my back on the backrest i would be sitting like this _
the only way i can have my back with a normal spine curvature |_ is me forwarding myself and maintaining it while being conscious about it, thats what i do currently but its weird cuz only my whole right side only hurts from neck to lower back so i guess time for either a new chair or i have something wrong with my muscles balance
Sounds like a fucked up chair wth
Good quality gaming chairs are basically the same as office chairs lmao
the real tip is to test the chair before you buy it
its a good chair most people here only buy from this brand
i might be not using the lumbar support correctly
Try to put your ass as deep as you can
and try without the lumbar support pillow if there is one (and with it)
you can name products here lol, we could help you if we now what we're dealing with
oh i meant where i live people buy from it, this is the chair i have without the leg rest.
in the pic it looks like it can do |_ but its really a _
can you recline the backrest ?
yeah
i'd take off both the headpad and the butt one
or scoot it up
i'd want your shoulders open, and your spine straight
pb w these chairs is that the sides fold your shoulder inwards
Looks weird
head is off always
Yeah try it without the pads, I feel the headrest especially fucks up my posture
some high end ergo chairs are designed without headrests, for good reason imo
Also you can have the back be straighter by tightening the screws
if the screws are loose
might as well do that first
mmmh, you dont want a flat plank in your back
so i keep the lumbar
I'd try it without and with
without just sit as far back as you can
and check that the screws under this are tight
on both sides
ill give it a look
but idk the more i search the more i see people hating on these type of chairs alot
and only praising the office chairs
kinda yeah
@sacred moon
It doesn’t really matter if it’s a gaming chair or office chair as long as it fits your ass
2 question how and how much does proper exercise and diet help with gaming, in the sense if u got from hardly exercising and having a rather bad diet to have regular exercise and a good diet what improvement can u see in ur aim, even if its just u find it easier to concentrate and build muscle memory faster?
yes, alot
how much excercise a week/day is good and how intense like if i did just a 30 min run or jog would that still suffice that same and more intense training, and are there any good diet resources around, as im quite a picky eater being autistic and all, and can u list some of the effects, i just like having an idea of how it will help to motivate me further
its just going to get complicated if you want it to be. pick an excercise you have fun with, do it regularly. what people sometimes dont understand is that doing sth regularly or consistently doesnt mean its doing it every day. just 1x per week would be a gamechanger too, IF you do it every week. more can be better if it fits your schedule, no point in burning yourself out. as for diet, drink water, pick fruits and vegetables (and meat if you want) you like, and again, it eat on a regular basis. as you can already guess, maintaining constistency is the most important part. as for effects, it doesnt really matter, everything will get better no matter what if you stick to it. if you really need an example: my reaction time increased by 20ms just by eating my veggies everyday
is tea fine? i usually drink tea and its easier for me to consitently drink?
anyone know what could be causing my middle left trap to be hurting while aim training? Used to have it on both sides but managed to get rid of it on the right side by removing my arm rests so my shoulders wouldnt be in an awkward position. The left side pain is persisting tho. Even added more trap exercises to my back day and didn't rly notice an improvement.
water will still be water even with herbs, totally fine for starters
Exercising makes your brain and body function
If you don’t exercise, your body and brain don’t work
As much vegetables, fruits, starchy carbs with fiber
Tea is absolutely fine, unless it interferes with your sleep
i dont feel the effects of caffiene
But tea dries me up, at least. So I recommend water as well
Do you have problems in your life that you’re seeking to fix with these changes?
Something like ADHD can’t really be completely fixed with dietary or exercise changes
just want to better myself and improve my health with the excuse of improving at games and aim training
howd u know i had ADHD
caffeine not working is a common ADHD thing
Lol
Then u need to get stimulant medication and work that out with your doctor
how should i be sitting to aim better and not feel like garbage after a long sesh?
less tension
it doesnt feel like i tense up all that much, but idk since im still getting better at being less tense with my mouse
with tension it isnt just ur mouse, its ur finger, wrist, arm and depending on how u sit/aim mabye ur shoulder
the problem is i struggle to feel tension unless its on purpose
that means ur doing it subcounsily from either 1, bad habit, 2 bad posture/set up, 3, nerves
u need to become more aware of ur tension, how to achieve that im not sure, become more purpuseful with tension...
4: all 3
pentabounce hurt anyone elses elbows or just me
i really stuggle with arfid is there anything that could help with that
honestly ive had 0 added benefits from training n proper diet so its prob going to be subjective, if u want to try n see if it works for u n adds some sort of a benefit then 4km jog with med-low intensity might be enough or u could go tryout a gym
I started doing mobility stuff, and the reverse prayer starts hurting quite quickly
does that mean I am overdoing kovaaks/gaming?
I had double cubito-ulna injuries like 12 years ago, I may just also have wrist mobility issues
so recently i've started getting tired after like 7 mins of aim training (which never happened before)
it only started happening after i got sick
what could be the issue?
my arm was never this tired when aim training before
tension
never had an issue before and my tension management got better
Try doing some mobility exercises
like?
happend to me too, i just hopped off for a week and it was gone
did you play any aim intensive game and did you workout
Nope I stopped workout and any kind of heavy aim for that week but also cause i felt not really "healed", after i was sick a week prior | i hope that helped
Did you just get a cold, or something more serious ?
dust allergy
had it for 2 days then it got down into my throat
yeah ok inflammation can rly f up your endurance
get your histamine levels right, and make sure to hydrate properly while recovering
I have a terrible habbit of blinking in serious situations like tracking in ow, holding angles in val and mid kovaaks scenario. how do i stop it?
Wtf
I have a terrible habbit of breathing in serious situations like tracking in ow, holding angles in val and mid kovaaks scenario. how do i stop it?
meditation and deep sea diving
i was playing soccer this morning
as a defender
i hit my shoulder hard against another player that was running towars me
towards
and it felt like i had a semi dislocation from my shoulder and back in place (although it doesnt feel quite right)
and when i move my right arm (mainly vertical movement) it hurts a lot
Rest it and go doctors
Don’t do stuff that puts it in pain until you know what’s wrong
If no bones are broken, it takes probably like 2 weeks to heal if you rest
or if you hurt it again, you can potentially have a semi-detached shoulder.
what
i am recently returning to val and im having pain here , am i to tense trying to aim?
probably
especially common for low sens
low sens high speed tracking
or high sens precision
i been messing around with sens , i was 1600 .28 on val. now .26 but idk how to be less tens sometimes. i see the other aimers in game have smooth aim and just more precise. the aimtrainers tilt me alot cause i do all the training and see improvement just to get on and diffed
could u try sending a vod for me to review
yo my hp is really low i think, my arm gets weak after playing one run
Do I need to raise my chair or lower it?
i think that's fine, could raise a bit if u think you have too much weight on your arm
can also just experiment
Is fine now
OSPUUUUUUZE
i can't i do this my arm feel weak i can't aim properly
Hey so my vision tends to go blurry if i play tracking tasks for too long (like 30+ minutes, especially with control tracking) is this something i should be worried about or am i just going too hard? (Not blinking enough and too short breaks between attempts)
Look out of the window as often as you can
i have astigmatism and i get this when i dont wear glasses. if u dont have any maybe consider turning ur monitors brightness down a wee bit
I also have astigmatism! I am always wearing glasses but will try the brightness thing
went to clinic last week ,Doc said its tendonitis gave me a brace and some meds , anyone who has experience with this and could tell me how to speed up the healing process and how to return to kovaaks ? . I started with some stretches and light upper and lower arm training to strengthen the wrist . Thank you
thats medical advice, so best check out a proper physical therapist for treatment of it
Did you get the sleeping braces? What’s the cause for your tendonitis? Did you do physical exercise or just gaming?
If it’s from gaming, you need to fix your posture, focus on tension control (e.g. No tension at all)
Also do as your doc says
When you sleep or whenever you use the brace, make sure your wrist is actually resting. And when gaming, pay attention to the angle your wrist has, and learn to aim train on 0 tension
@uneven ivy thank you
how does going to the gym and working on my upper body affect my aim i went to the gym consistently for a few months in the past and im not sure if going back will negatively affect my aim
it will help your brain
also if you're not using isolated machines, it will train your wrists and that can help with endurance and tension control
It’ll help u not be a twink and tension max
The stronger ur muscles the more control u have over them usually
guys usually yall take 1 day off per week?
aim training, game, etc
just doing nothing at all
its cause recently I have been feeling that my tracking is getting worse in-game. Like, I'm smooth but I'm not matching the speed of the target, I can't see my crosshair properly, and I feel like there is a huge delay in my vision when spotting enemies
Can someone simplify what happened during the supplements 101 stage?
to me this sounds like effects of not sleeping enough
if you have restmax (8 proper hours deep sleep), sunmax (30 mins a day), carrotmax (eat carrots everyday), banana max (1 banana a day), milk max (1 cup milk daily), and food max (2-3 quality meals daily) your body, eyes in your case, should have no problem processing where your target is
I would also gymmax as well because i used to have wrist pains when i was around 17 but i just went to gym and gymmax and did isolated wristmaxxing exercises now no pain and i can kovaaksmax all day which is usually 1 hour a day
basically what im saying is you should healthmax first and then aimmaxxing will follow
and taking 1 day off a week is called restmaxxing which in my opinion is perfectly fine
do u add the ''max'' thing for the meme or u genuinely call it like that
whats wrong with maxxing
because yk...
carrotmax
oh i can be that too
i got it, ty very much, but somehow i feel kinda brainroted
with the max stuff lol
carrots are cheap and very healthy, dont hate carrots
carrots are good
a okey okey i thought he was fr
I think you gotta mememax some more
humormaxing
does anyone else have their pinky not really hurt but like kinda sore from pressing shift or control alot?
u need to pinkymax ig
fr tho lock in on stretching
can’t be good big
sign*
happens to ONLY my pinky. Could be stretching or maybe just bad positioning on my pinky finger
idk
when I used to grind hypixel
never really stopped until I stopped playing minecraft so mcuh
I mean I notice it in apex and warframe alot because I hit ctrl to slide alot lol
is it okayy to still aimtrain iif ur arm is sore post workout
in wf i have my bullet jump and slide to my back mouse button, helped a lot with my pinky
Maybe I try that because I don’t think I use mouse buttons in WF, in apex tho it’s 2 of my abilities lol
Can you guys recommend a Video Guide for ergonomic Setup of chair, desk, Monitor etc? All inclusive
Any advice or thoughts on how to discern the difference between what may be pain or soreness? When I aim train and/or been playing my main game(Apex) more offten I notice the inside of my elbows get this weird tightness feeling.
I'm planning to main a 16in laptop display (moving from 24in), but the screen size is quickly becoming detrimental to my normal way of play. Is it okay if I "hunch forward" and get my eyes closer to the screen relative to the distance of the previous monitor?
It's going to be something like a 60deg angle
Can't
serious question guys, why does it feel like my wrist needs an oil change and is rusty af? especially when i do tracking exercises in which i use my wrist rather than my arm there's so much micro flickering in it. it's only appeared recently also - i have 1500+ hours on aim trainers why is this happening now
is there any real wrist exercises i can do?
i mean its gonna fuck up your posture in the long term
but if you moderate your playtime, take breaks, exercise, you should be fine i think
Try warming ur hands and wrists in hot water
You're wearing out the small stabilizer muscles if you rely too much on just the wrist
Spreading the task to the arm, wrist and even the fingers will help reduce individual muscle soreness
does anyone know how to fix tendonitis in your forearm/shoulder and pinched nerves aswell
Can you describe your symptoms and the area where you feel pain in detail?
like stiffness in my elbow forearm area towards like the outside of my elbow and the back of my shoulder/towards my neck and like constant pain but gets worse when i play
Like these two area ?
Yes for the first pick on the second pick it’s left from the circle
But like slightly
Do you use a chair with wheels or a chair with fixed legs?
Wheels
Sitting on a chair with wheels is one of the causes of neck-and-shoulder pain. A wheeled chair isn’t stable; even if you sit close to the desk, your body will unconsciously push down on the desk to brace yourself and keep the chair from rolling backward → which can lead to neck and shoulder strain.
As for your forearm, it could be because you’ve been overusing it. Try resting for a few days, massaging it, and applying an ice pack to the painful area. If it doesn’t improve after 3 days, you might consider seeing a specialist or a doctor
Alright tysm
Hey - anyone got any chair recommendations?
Looking for a new chair to improve posture and such for aiming. Got a height adjustable desk and loving it but my chair a little old and looking for something that isnt a million dollar overpriced herman miller lol. Something ergonomic and not necessarily a gaming chair although secret lab ones might be ok. Let me know please, anything would be greatly appreciated 🙂
Hey, im starting to think about buying 1HPs course as my hand/wrist worsened a bit. Can anyone tell me if its worth it/helped someone?
if i bananaovermax can i slip a little carrotmaxxing out
i think bananamaxxing is important for overall health but for specifics in eyesight and being able to look at your opponent clearly, carrotmaxxing is more important
@sage perch
@sage perch
I finally managed to fix my ergonomics and set myself properly to be comfortable and healthy and it was way easier then I thought it be
ergonomicmaxxing
i get fatigued/sore in my hands while aimtraining with a fingertip mouse but when i play games i feel fine. any idea why?
aim training is volume heavy, games are not. you just fatigue way quicker in aimtraining because of it
so if i aimtrain more and it will go away eventually?
its so bad tho like 5mins in im already struggling
yeah just like with any exercises if you rest properly between sessions and days
@sage perch
100000 reps of flicking an hour vs like 15
