do you have any peer reviewed academically reliable studies you can provide
my pinky stings like crazy from yesterdays aim training
roll out with a lacrosse ball
https://nootropicsdepot.com/baikal-skullcap-extract-tablets/
Here's what I use
https://www.examine.com/supplements/baikal-skullcap/
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=fr&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=Baikal+skullcap&btnG=
Here's a bit of the recent research
Is it constantly tensing while you aim?
yeah my ring finger and pinky push on the side of the mouse to control it.
Can you adjust your grip so the first knuckles of your index and major push down onto the mouse, and you free up your ring and pinky
?
My knuckles don't touch the mouse usually. It's just my fingers
Is your wrist floating or resting on the pad ?
floating
my elbows are anchored to my desk and lifts my forearm up
That's bound to create fatigue
And this as well tbh
Planted elbow : can't use your biceps/triceps effectively
Floating wrist : forearm muscles are constantly under tension
Overused pinky and ring fingers : additional constant tension in the forearm
I'm fighting with tension as well atm, and I'm relearning everything with FPS so I'm a bit hyper fixated on the topic xD
Wait so planted Elbows are bad?
I mean... I kinda feel like I can't flick as well with it planted
ohhh wait. It makes flicking up and down basically impossible
i always struggled with that
it makes me want to just lift my entire arm lol
Not the best now innit xD
so much more control tho
My elbow's on my chair arm, and the forearm on the adge of the desk (the arm and desk are at the same time)
Adderall
im 36 and playing 12+ hours my shoulder has not stopped hurting in months my hands tap out everyday been to physio and dryneedling. Bought ergo chair and working on posture. could use some help my shoulder is in pain all day but my dedication passion and window of "age skill" is closing
Are there any particular reason why my eyes are instantly tearing up while aim training now? It's only recently started and it's obnoxious. I take stuff for my alergies and I've tried blinking a lot more, but nothing is helping T_T Any solutions?
Are you stretching?
I have a shoulder stretch video that I found and it seems to help if you want it
How much time per week do you spend stretching/working out ?
can someone that plays without any back or shoulder pain show me what their posture looks like?
maybe your monitor is too close? I had this happened when i got a new bigger monitor and adjusting height and distance fixed it for me
Hello bosses, i saw a video on youtube a while ago, it was an interview or a "tedtalk" like video about hydratation and esport by a known coach or something and i can't manage to find it back, if someeone has any hint or idea about the video i'll be forever thankful to whoever manage to find it
EDIT : i managed to find it with a bit of afk bio meditation for whoever is interested

Hi guys! This is the first podcast episode with Casey Thomas, a performance dietician. I worked with him at 100 Thieves and his knowledge of how nutrition intersects with esports performance is incredible. In this snippet, we are talking specifically about the impact of hydration on our cognitive performance. We have caffeine and L-theanine comi...
does anyone know what kinda supplements or medication i can use to help me "lock in" better when im trying to study.
as far as im aware regular creatine can have a benefit but doesnt really affect younger people as much (in terms of brain function) and is more for stress and fatigue, electrolytes and water are your best bet really; caffeine is an obvious one though in lower doses EDIT: youll be better off looking into study methods though they pretty much all say the same regular breaks and recollection (flip cards) are also great
i need some hard drugs my guy
Then just do adderall
bro i took concerta fr a few months, made me feel like shit. Too many side effects
meth
Hey! I wonder what it could be that makes it so, when I have to focus on tracking tasks (specifically precise ones), I get light headed after 30s of scenario. I feel like I need to move, get up, or shake my hand if that makes sense.
It makes it very difficult for me to make progress. I have never experienced this before. I used to compete in Overwatch 1 and played tracking heroes in grandmaster, and never felt that way.
Anyone s got an idea why?
Hello, do you experience this with anything else. Do you have any recent blood tests as well.
And has this been happening chronically?
Ppl will say Adderall or racetams, but stay clear of those.
You'll be better off with Lion's Mane + Gingko biloba
Probably lacking in either B vitamins or omega 3s
Is it normal to get a bit worse training when quitting weed?
My wrist hurts after any PRECISE hand motor movement. I think it might be disability I have no idea
where does it hurt specifically, has this been happening just recently or for a long time.
Gingko biloba doesnt do shit for me, and the last time i took it i had stomache ache fr 2 days
Since i stopped like a week ago, im getting better performances,
I once believed that weed helped go into flow zone or sum… but its just cope, my reaction time is slower and i didnt feel like i was crystal clear in processing infos on the screen
Some years ago if you asked me this i would have said weed gives superpowers in games
Even after a few minutes
Try bacopa monnieri then, but still Lion's Mane is legit
have u seen significant improvement in focus?
Focus from Lion's Mane yeah, especially erinamax
Bacopa's more about memory and readyness
please 🙂
while aim training my right peck starts to get sore, anyone know why this may be?
pecs get engaged during shoulder abduction/external rotation, do you play with your right arm really extended?
maybe chair positioning
could be both things, my chair is pretty shit so i have to play far up to support my arm
I just quit yesterday and I feel like a vegetable dude
this is why recreational > habitual man
Completely normal, i felt irritated and and moody for the first 2-3 days.
Stick to it and dont go back g
how much lions mane did u take daily
1 erinamax per day, followed with Tiger's Milk and some other stuff that would be on my rotation
I'm deep in the nootropics rabbithole
Yeah but it’s easier said than done. I struggle with addiction some people don’t
Hi, so this is a weird question: but do any of you guys know how to reset your grip style? In the past few weeks I came back to aiming after a pretty severe hand injury (broken index and two fractured metacarpals, no permanent damage, but was gone for 4 months) and my physiotherapist told me that I needed to change the way I grip my mouse and pen if I want to get back into drawing and aiming for more than half an hour. I used fingertip for the better part of 10 years now and after coming back I death grip my mouse and I'm very tense due to my muscles being weak now. I'm thinking that maybe if I find the way my hand grabs a mouse naturally in this current state, instead of my brain and muscle memory forcing an unnatural form, I’ll be more comfortable and healthy in the long term…
you'll probably need to deliberately and constantly reassess your grip tension to get used to not death gripping. mentally put comfort over game performance until you get used to being gentle
drawing is a tricky one though, i have a hard time with that one myself
Well for drawing and writing there are medical protocols for rehab and stuff, but idk if there are any professionals that know about aim training 😅
I wonder if there's an aim training physical therapist out there
use palm grip, relax your hand and play smoothness scenarios
each time a finger tenses up, readjust your hand and use only your arm/a bit of the wrist for smoothing out the path on screen
i've been there with injuries, had debilitating pain in both arms due to nerve going whack, but learning how to manage tension saved my ass
(i was mainly a guitarist back then so there were other stuff to deal with, but this part applies to aim well as I've done that myself)
you'll be able to go back to Ftip later down the road

i foujnd sth that has ashwagandha and bacopa monnieri, should i try it
best bet is always single ingredient from ND, and then adjust
but its pricey
i was having acidity from gingko biloba and the dr said its cause of taking on empty stomach without eating a meal first. Anyway my previous experience with gingko wasnt thatr great, felt like placebo more than anything
so im interested to try something else
if i were to take only lions mane, whats a good dose to start at
Nootropics Depot Erinamax, 1 pill a day in the morning
if its a placebo and you notice a benefit whats the difference 😄
Good morning voltaic.
Hey I'm dealing with shoulder pain whenever I play. I've played around with desk height but I'm not sure what will work right for me
hi does anyone know what could be causing my pinky and ring finger discomfort when gaming and sometimes i wake up with numbness in them aswell
ulnar nerve irritation, you'll likely have an issue either in your wrist, elbow, or neck due to poor posture, muscle weakness + overuse
My vision is blurry, or rather, it feels like my eyes are drained, and I can't focus on the monitor.
How can I fix this?
I tried supplement and eye massager.
hey does anyone have a skin care routine for their hands to keep them moisturized? my hands are naturally dry and just putting on lotion doesn’t really work (they feel dry again after like 30 mins)
do you have any recent blood tests?
might be damage to tendon or it might also be some kind of damage to the joint. I would take to your doctor about it.
My last blood test was about 5,6 years ago
Shoud I go to hospital for blood test?
ermmm i mean it would be the best choice since you havent gone in a while either way. Worse case scenerio is something is impairing your optical nerves.
but the problem could also be something mental. Stuff like stress and lack of sleep can be a factor.
if the blurriness happens in around the same place in your field of view and is always there it could also be your vision deteriorating
Okay, thanks I'll go there ❤️
Never been part of the conversation but wanted to let you know the lions mane and ginkgo recommendation was sick even if placebo I am getting a mild benefit to my rotten adhd shit so thanks man
might be an obvious question but better ask anyway have you actually had your eyes tested / wear glasses could be a good idea to go again and specifically let them know you spend a lot of time looking at a monitor
I'll go right now. thanks
Awesome professional medical help is always the way to go if you have a concern 😄 hope it works out!
nah nootropics are legit man. If you get them from a good source it's a viable way to boost performance in any field
how do i trick my ADHD brain to actually enjoy studying
like i enjoy learning definitely, but not from reading books or notes or whatevr, but by conducting experiments
throw your phone and other distracting stuff in the other room and just get into the process of studying without thinking abt anything else
banger music in the ears and nothing to distract you from the work at hand
best combo possible (if you're over 18, i've found a large beer to help getting started as well)
for me personally i take concerta. But im always motivated bc i wanna do well in my field
trying to get a PHD in biology ;-;
What field of biology?
I used to take concerta for a brief period, but it was making me feel like shit
aim trainer doesnt work
have you tried a non stimulant or other stimulants?
yes it does
oh human biology btw
nice, i'm studying biotechnology and sometimes it feels like studying medicine without the privilege of calling myself a doctor lmao
ive tried ritalin, same shit but almost no benefit. Caffeine works a bit for me, but not for too long
and too much coffee backfires, makes me tired instead lmao
@kindred galleon can i drink lions mane powder supplement with my coffee?
why is virology so fking difficult bruv, its making my head spin
yeah, its an easy supp without any restraint
just play high sens like me, use ur fingers
like idw get diarrhea and take multiple toilet breaks when i wna study
also would u say powder supplements are more efficient than pills
nah, pills all day
all pills all shotgun with plain water
ehhhhh ive tried taking xanax and adderal and it worked really well. It was my friend's prescription though. right now im on 54 mg of concerta and 5mg lexapro. Maybe taking another med with the stimulant might work for you.
or have you tried non stimulants like straterra ?
or maybe amphetamines like vyanse or adderal might have a better response in your body.
im taking micro bio next sems. right now im doing physio ;-;
I've started aim training about 10 days ago and I noticed that after ~30 minutes of aim training my right hand's pinky finger starts to hurt, some people in #general have told me that that's not common and that I'm gripping my mouse wrong.
I fingertip, my mouse is the Razer Viper Mini and my hands are 18x9
How should I grip my mouse to solve this issue? I know grip should be a natural thing, but I think that if it's affecting me like this I really should force myself to grip my mouse in a different way
Friends, I push the mouse too hard against my ring finger when I hold it, and it causes me a lot of pain. I cannot find a way of breaking the habit.
I do not even have to be gaming. I could be using my Ergo mouse at work, and my ring finger would be toast by the end of the day. Do you guys have any advice?
i think its a good idea to consider a different mouse with a shape that fits your hand naturally. mices are cheap compared to doctor visits
tbh I think the problem would be either my grip or how the Viper Mini flares out, that's why I was considering switching to the Hitscan Hyperlight
I havent taken anythimg else after concerta. But thinking of tryimg lions mane
It's shit quality products overpriced and repackaged for a premium brand, stay clear of anything influencer linked
Use less finger force to do the motions. Your arms have much bigger muscle, that fatigue slower
Same thing as @misty vortex
Stacking medication + LM is an opportunity for disaster
A lot of people on r/lionsmanerecovery complain from the substance because they just stacked with strong medications without thinking
im not on any medication currently
Doses are way too low for each ingredient.
Rule of thumb is that anything with more than 3-4 ingredients is most likely heaping out and using shit material
maybe i can do 2-3 scoops?
should it be larger amounts in mg for each ingredient

Go for 1 ingredient at a time when you're discovering nootropics
Or else you won't know what's causing the change
Could you say concisely and clearly what it is you're looking to get out of those supplements? Or even medication if you need to go that route
i just want better focus, memory recall, less likely to get distracted, boosted productivity etwc. Mainly to perform better academically
i found this, 2100mg . What should i stack with lions mane btw
I'm not sure I'm following
My issue is more grip is just hurting my finger
I am an arm aimed, mostly
that's pretty clean, you could try it
lion's mane and baikal skullcap would be my rec then
2100 doesnt mean shit if the extraction ratio isnt provided
it has the actual extract
you're gripping the mouse too hard
you ever tried aimtraining at like 12cm/360 ?
this is a scam
mycelium means they're selling you grain as if it were LM, unless you go liquid culture
just get this man

bro the thing is shipping might take long
and shipping might cost more as well
and idk if its gonna get stuck at customs or whatever, for being a "Drug"
u in US right ?
the extrawction ratio says 4:1 or sth
it's no actual medication, people in asia buy much more dangerous things on the daily
like in here
that's super low thenn
but really, the products I've recommended are what i know are best in class, and really noticeable unlike a ton of stuff in the market
you pay once and won't have to deal with shit experiences and trial and error
if im gna try buying from nootropics depot maybe i shud get sth cheaper first tosee how it goes
cause i never tried buying medications/supplements from overseas, idk how its gna gow
hows L tyrosine work for focus
no, lowest i got was 20
I found that type of training to be the best for lowering the force you use to grip the mouse
Go down to like 8, or even 5
Centering II at like 8cm/360 is a damn workout man
Wouldn't recommend skullcap as it has activity on the bzd site of the gabaa receptor
Try Acetyl-l-carnitine it enhances tyrosine hydroxylase which is the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine
why does my pinky hurt from aim training
u just lack elite gamer genetics maybe
alrd ordered some L tyrosine
That's why it's working so effectively tho, and there's no downside as it's nothing permanent
Increasing dopamine production in someone looking for better focus seems counterintuitive, it'd be OK for gaming but not for studying
No, dopamine helps with focus, motivation, and learning by reinforcing the tasks you do like studying. Some ways it works is by activating both the prefrontal cortex and the hippocampus which are implicated in attention and memory.
This is why you see so many people get Adderall for studying during finals.
That being said, there is also a bell curve with dopamine that you wanna keep in the middle for the benefits in learning and attention. But generally, most people are gonna benefit from the dopamine boost that you get from supplements like ALCAR and tyrosine.
Sorry for the wall of text.
Does anyone actually use adderal for video game if so how did it improve performance?
If you arent a tier 1 pro you arent there yet to take adderal
Hey guys, im kinda facing a huge new issue of my eyes watering up
but it feels only like an aimlabs kidna thing
ived turned down my bright ness
and turned on the lights
Yet they still end up getting super blurry when im focusing on a situation
i dont seem to notice this on kvks
It helps me play better personally
I use another kind of stimulant called concerta. It helps a lot
can i take L tyrosine and ashwagandha together
or like in the same day different timings
also what kind of zinc should i take? im trying to boost my energy levels
Hello friends
what is this? creatine?
nah some kinda mix of lions mane, baccopa, caffeine etc
yes
microzinc from ND
change your theme
do you guys suffer upper trapezius pain in your mouse shoulder? I've found that my right upper trap hurts and feels bigger than my left one
Is it a posture thing?
No clue on the specific area you just lised (I know traps but upper traps?) But yes to pain sometimes, Muscular imbalance is pretty usual if you're not working-out/training those areas from what I know. And for me it was a posture thing, could be other things as well but posture is a great place to start. Also maybe take time out of your day to do stretches to see if that helps?
just for future reference :) the traps are a much bigger muscle then people probably realise where just the upper section is what people typically refer to
preciate it
med student here. the upper traps is called the the calvical trapezius, when contracted it either brings your scapula closer to its origin (the occipital bone) which, depending on which part of your body you are 'anchoring" down will either elevate your shoulder towards your head or move your head closer to your shoulders.
if it would help you differentiate them a bit more, they are attached to different bones and are used more/less throughout different motions.
Do you know what types of movement(aiming) causes muscle knot or pain? I know it's overuse, but I'm not sure if it's desk height or I'm just using too much shoulder
I don't even aim train regularly anymore, so I'm really confused since I only play like 1 or 2 match of deadlock per day

There seems to be a common pain that PC gamers are feeling with the arm and shoulder that controls the mouse. This is a discomfort I personally feel at times -- and this video is to bring awareness to it and to introduce Matt from 1HP to share his professional advice on why it's happening and what we can do to prevent and alleviate the stress wi...
And this aswell, any help is appreciated
Hmmm maybe you’re tensing your arm too much? If your upper traps are hurting maybe the desk is too high. Or maybe you have some other condition with your body. Does any part of ur back/arm hurt from other movements?
feels like there's a nerve that spasm from my upper trap to my neck
has the pain been going on for a long time or just recently started?
Recently
I think it might be nerve impingement or herniated disc, I'm going to a phy therapist this week
I think this video got the cause right, I'm just having a hard time adjusting my posture because my shoulder can't relax like 1hp
did you take any xray of ur shoulder and when was the last time you had a blood test btw?
No x-rays and last blood test is prob 1 and a half years ago
I noticed that my shoulder did internally rotate when playing
Need eye training
What should I use software and something?
I know there is many eye training videos, but IDK what is best for it.
eye training?
Anyone familiar how to do deal with knee injuries or pain. i think i got from bjj or wrestling and its been bugging me for two months. Its like a discomfort type of pain but not an actual pain. I let it recover for two weeks with no physical strain on my legs, it felt good. then i started running, lifting, and going back to bjj again and it was fine but now a week after its starting to flare up again.
go to a doctor?
what should i do if i have sweaty hands?

what's your elbow resting on, and how far from your torso is your elbow when playing ?
dont have insurance
wtf man
i wouldve if i could lol
without proper screening its just guessing, no win in that
guys do u have any idea like i need to sleep like at least 12 hour a day to not feel tired
like everyday i sleep 6 am to 8 am then get wake up to get some medicine then sleep to 8 am till 6 pm to get my medecine eat and if i feel good i go to play some game and all
sleeping during the day?
yeah kinda
everytime
feel better to sleep when i take my med
There is a number of factors that can influence your sleepiness... from deficiencies in particular minerals to poor sleep quality
Could be worth a blood test to see if deficient in things like zinc, magnesium, iron etc
I have recently been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and gotten an APAP machine thats basically changed my life so if you have bad snoring could be worth checking out
i did a lot of blood test recently and i'm in perfect condition if we forgot i had some hospital problem 2 month before
basically been on the same investigation that you are on, sleep 8hrs every night but tired all the time
mater of fact i eat well and home made food and drink like close to only water around o plus than 1L a day
it might be a quality of sleep issue then, where you aren't getting adequate sleep in certain sleep stages... potentially your medicine is having interactions with your REM stages? Could be worth a google
is just bisoprolol and ramiprill that make my heart go slower
because i get a heart inflamation 2 month ago
but my sleep was like this even before my med
from a quick google it does seem that bisoprolol does indeed interrupt REM sleep, so that certainly won't be helpful
nice to know
do u think if i sleep during night it would be easier ?
not sure, probably worth asking your doctor
i see
i see that dreaming too much could actually not help with sleep
and i know that i dream a lot and wake up a lot then get back into a dream when i sleep^
technicly the 20 december i can stop using my meds so that would be great if it's only the med the problem
thank you actually that u helped me i'm kind of stupid sometimes so i don't figure out everything easly xD
for real
you might have damaged the cartilage in your joints or something. i would probably see a doctor
What's your bedtime?
yo @kindred galleon what pills are those below boardzys monitor
does the blue bottle look familiar
Shocking
hi Voltaic Aimers, i have a lot of pain in my hand when play static for more then 10 minutes, specifically here:
any tips or hints?
Does it hurt when you move your thumb inwards against force
yes, a lot when i feel tired
Np!
But for the meantime try to grip your mouse a bit softer and use arm more during static
Ok!
Hello im a wrist aimer and if i track target going to the left its very smooth. But if the target starts going far right. Im getting weird zigzag motion in my wrist even though im not hard gripping it looks very jittery and unsmooth? any idea
it is natural or at least nothing too much out of the ordinary for this to happen. As we recieve visual information through our optic nerves and into the the CNS, it is usally processed along with information with how streched out our arm muscles are to ultimately produce an apprioiate contraction to move your cursor. At first our brains is not used to how much to contract a certain muscle and how to make smooth adjustments so thats why new player's tracking almost looks like they are ocassionly flicking onto targets. so since moving the mouse to the right and moving your mouse to the left uses different muscles, which in your case you have way better control with moving your mouse to the left, there can be an unbalance if there is a big degree in mastery in your general mouse control.
so bascially just pratice and be super concious/aware of what youre doing and youll improve!
one thing I notice is that whenever I play for more than 30 minutes to 1 hour my hands and fingers start aching hard I try griping my mouse more softley but that still doesnt help its been happening for the past few days any idea on how I could improve or make it not happen as often? (also you might want to ping me when you see this I will not respond if you type it normally)
most likely joint or tendon damage. is there a specific place it starts hurting
this is the wrong channel
I think he said it was like caffeine + l Theanine, or maybe just regular caffeine pills. The blue bottle seems like it's creatine or some sports oriented supp
watch the time behind a computer VS exercise time in your day, after a while playing comp only will make your arms hella weak and sensitive
Use your arm to support your wrist movement, it'll help you at both left and right extremes of the motion. Slightly opening at the elbow might be all you need
Ok, I can’t do full body exercises as I recently dislocated my kneecap again. I’m only on it for like an hour then I take a break
Around my thumbs and it slowly moves up to my hand
I currently use a full size mouse if that’s a bit too big than what would you recommend going to
Just doing stretches, curls, and basic arm stuff would help your tendons/muscles get into it tbh.
If there's any pain even at rest, don't you dare push past it. It means it's a real injury and you'll need smth to make it heal properly
I wont but I get it
looking for someone who had bicep tendinopathy to ask some questions etc
like around slightly above your wrist and a little close to your thumb?
yes
It also happens when Im doing a bunch of school work at once as well
there are 8 bones in your wrist and alot of joints within it which are responsible for fine movement. I think you either have slight tendon damage or some minor damage to joint cartilage.
it might go away on its own in a while
does it hurt if you touch it or move against pressure?
right, yes youll probably be fine after a while, just try to not irratate it too much
so just take short breaks after a while?
i have some pain in my left arm elbow probably from having it on the desk and its always cracking when i straighten my arm fully
that works too, and obv get enough sleep. If it gets worse after a while tho i would see a doctor
I sleep like 9-12 hours
yes thats good. anywhere from 6-10 hours ranging from person to person. Just make sure you are sleeping at around the same time with around a 30-60min deviation at most!
alr
Thanks
got any idea why this happens or how to deal with it?
do you have you had any recent physical trama related to that part of your arm?
also btw, i doubt that the pressure on your elbow from the desk would be the issue but it might be. Do you have any bruises on the skin around the point of contact?
no i dont
i havent had any injuries or bruises
my elbow always cracks for some reason and hurts a tiny bit sometimes
does it hurt when you touch it or extend your arm against force?
the cracking is not abnormal. its usually due to movement of gasses or movement of ligaments over bones. usually when it hurts its commonly a sign of tendintis or bursists. It will probably go away on its own though but if it gets worse i would talk to a professional about it. Also regular strectching and exercise might help!
yea i do try to stretch mid game usually
i also move my wrists around and neck
cause they sometimes need to crack
and my fingers
my forearm really hurts after an hour of aim training but i can’t bring myslef to stop
don't try to power through pain, it will only make your injury way more severe and take considerably longer to heal
That’s completely normal. If you really can’t bring urself to stop then just take small breaks In between ur session so you can go on for a bit longer
Y’all just feel terrible all the time and when you go try to play a game, you can’t choose what to play or play a little bit and then turn it off just cause mentally tired
yea some days are just like that and those days i dont play at all or just play something different
Meant to say tired. I have so many RPGs and single player games in my backlog
just play stardew valley B)
When doing exercise would taking frequent breaks to blink help reduce eyes becoming watery?
yes of course
all the time :3!
Hallo Guys!! do you know any good exercises I can do like calisthenics for a beginner?
do you have any equipment? or a gym membership?
squats
you can increase difficulty too, like pushups and stuffs
pistol squats for example
I want to increase my height tho
your height ?
ya
heightt
HUH
aNY tIpS?
idk i'm 6'2
Lmao
No prob
there are no excercises to increase your height. if you ask stuff like that youre probably in your teens, so hope for the best that youre still growing. otherwise, accept it. its not that much of a problem like people make it out to be trust me. even if some people are stupid enough to undergo surgery to increase there leg length to pack up some inches
If you are short just dwarfmaxx. Grow a beard. Go bald. Get jacked. Wear a leather jacket. Stunning!
No matter your height, Starting Strength is a good program to follow for the first 3 months.
I have a little Gym in my garage! I have a Threadmill, and a boxing bag!
I have weights!
ok well u have ur cardio worked out for u with treadmill and boxing
with weights, (assuming u have a seat or a flat bench)
u can do dumbell bench press, shoulder press or lateral raises, bicep curls, skull crushers, and dumbell rows for upper body
for lower body it becomes a bit harder
you can do bulgarian split squats, nordic curls, calve raises, pistol squats, goblet squats
depends on what your goal is. If you dont have much time to spare and want to better your health in the long run i would suggest frequent light-intermediate cardio and occassional resistance training(most deaths are a result of cardiovascular diease). However if your goal is to achivie muscle hypertrophy i would suggest to do more demending resistance exercises with heavier weights and stuff
everytime i aimtrain my left shoulder starts to sore and hurt, funnily enough i can play games just fine without it being an issue
Would 15-20 minutes of Jogging on a treadmill work? :D
pain = gain
u right handed ?
Yeah
i have frequent muscle spasms/twitches in my neck while playing heavily aim based fps games, it became quite a bit less frequent once my mum gave me her secretlabs chair. would a new chair that suits me better than this midass secretlabs chair help? if so can someone recommend me something. im around 6'1 - 6'2 and pretty skinny (50-63kgs, unsure as i forgot but it was in this range)
@spark hull nurse boy help me
does anyone have an ergonomic chair recomendation that doesnt break the bank? ive had a gaming chair for a long time and its honestly great, i never feel disconfor and my posture is great, but for some aim taks the car seat shape bothers me and is just not great for range of motion. recomendations?
lowkey need this too
I know this is still expensive, but reletive to other ergo chairs of this quality its a very good price. I got my amia through them and its been perfect, I have great range of motion with my arms and my chiropractor has commented on how good my hips and back have looked even tho I didnt even tell him I got a new chair. It is very good
https://www.btod.com/steelcase-amia
They even have versions with the leap seat for a different feel if you want to look into what the differences are
@misty lantern ping you as well
well it does look good but the price is steep
for that price i can get an erman miller that's fully refurbished
true, compared to msrp tho
exactly, these chairs are on that level. if you wanna go more budget than that youre gonna get like worse quality or just not even worth
its almost like investing in a great bed, it is worth
also I fully remove my arm rests so something without them entirely might be what I'm looking for
oh nice
I'll look into a refurbished erman miller aeron tho, they are cheaper and I doubt that they are not better than any other "budget" ergo
def a good option as well
just so i know, these chairs you talked about are they adjustable? like lumbar suport height and stuff? im pretty tall and even tho im sure these are super comfortable they seem too bare bones to be worth those prices
there is a lumbar adjustment as well as the ability to adjust how far out or in the seat cushion sits which was huge for me since my last chair couldnt do that

thx ill also have a look at that channel, might find something there
heyy! I had one question related to vision, does anyone here know if it's better when playing long sessions to play with normal colours or lighting, or to use modes like lecture mode so the computer lights don't have as much impact on your eyes? I just feel sometimes after sessions my eyes usually feel tired, and I'm unsure if it's better to see like the true colours, or use a lecture mode version so maybe then my eyes wouldn't get that tired and I could have a better reaction time
try it and see if it helps
i always got eye saver mode on my monitor n im used to it but u should try it
js make sure ur eyes are not just dry drink water and make sure ur well rested
if its not those maybe try night light eye saver wtv
I cut my finger my career as a below average tier Aimer is over
Yes I can’t wrap for shit
Yes, everyday if possible. More time invested on the jogs will also benefit you a lot in the long run
Thank you!

They’re gonna have to amputate my leg
this is the frame of my anime rn
https://x.com/sam_gzstrength/status/1868062491663888582 I think this is true for the average male lifter, which is unfortunately redundant because not enough women lift. It's so good for body composition and bone density.
135 Press
225 Bench
315 Squat
405 Deadlift
For the average lifter These numbers are not "strong" they are simply "not weak"
Halllo!!! Juicer!!!! 😁
Does anyone else have issues with elbow popping when fully extending arm? My elbow also has pain sometimes so i don't really want to train when it's like that
You might overextend yourself from one side to the next, and tensing up in the process.
Either you should scoot your chair forward, or bring the pad closer to the edge of your desk
Do you sleep with big pillows?
no but i do like raise my pillow a bit by folding the corner
muscle spams were a thing for me when i still used pillows
went away with traps exercising and removing pillows
no worries dude, if you drop me some static shot skill in return i wont complain xD
send me a vod ^_^
i'm not the best when it comes to vod reviews or stuff but i probably can point out some stuff
Does anybody have experience with a shaky wrist/arm when aiming? I'm left handed but have used a right handed mouse since I started gaming. I'm wondering if my right wrist is just really weak and would benefit from strengthening exercises? Or if it will sort itself out with more practice?
I started Val as my first game and don't notice it there but anytime I try to do tracking/fine movement aim scenarios or play something like overwatch I get the shakiness.
Will smooth out as you pratice more
Sorry I’m a bit disoriented rn bc I just finished my exams. But as visual information travels to your occipital lobe via optical nerves (e.g, position of your cross hair and position of the target) your brain processes that information along with sensory information regarding how stretched out the muscles in your arm is to make an appropriate contraction to move your cursor
As your crosshair position moves information flows such as where your cursor is right now compared to a moment ago is being fed to parts of your central nervous system and your cerebellum takes that information and makes refinements to it. If you are inexperienced your are not able to do this as well which is why new players aim look twitchy and unsmoofh
Congrats on finishing! That was a great explanation thank you so much
Hello
I’m having an issue where my muscles under my arm and my forearm don’t necessarily hurt while training, but they quickly get exhausted I think while being conscious of tension being applied
Is it possible for my arm to recover without having to take a break from the pc for a few days?
Ok so some developments, elbow pain is still slightly present but every time I stretch my wrists and fingers my thumb twitches💀 I am drinking a decent amount of water so its not dehydration
you gotta stretch way more often then
can you extend both your arms full reach, fingers spread and thumb n all, without any tingling or twitching ?
yes, like 50% of the time after relaxing my thumb starts up
I constantly stretch like every 15-30 minutes and sometimes more. I think a huge factor as to why this is happening is while im sleeping, my body keeps contorting into crazy positions like my wife will find me perfectly balanced on my arm and shoulder. like all my body weight just pinning it into the bed. I think thats why its so fucked up rn
I'm just fucked😭 I work as a videographer so I'm constantly masking and doing demanding things with the mouse all day let alone working with the camera and gaming is my main hobby. If I don't stretch my wrists feel terrible. I just don't know what to do atp

Thanks
If there's no tingling with a full span, it's not a nervous problem, at least most likely not
Night muscle tensions could be that you're not drinking enough water (1.5-2L is a safer bet for everyone) or that you're deficient in electrolytes and thus drinking isn't effective, or you're dealing with stressful things that you didn't resolve
Second option is kinda out there but I've seen this be so true that I can't deny it anymore
idk if its the gpw shape issue, but everytime i take a small break from games(2-3 days) and come back to playing, my palm and fingers ache and feel uncomfortable
the pain in my palm mostly, everytime i grip the gpw i feel like im holding it differntly than yesterday lmao
should i be having my elbow rested on the table?
i kind of have it angled down hanging off my desk
if your arms feel weaker going into a session than how they felt at the beginning of a session the previous day, one day off could help. Long term, gym to get stronger. check out Starting Strength
Could be, but that's really wild to assume.
For some nice life ends up bad nightmares, or for some stressful events bring nightmares but the rest of their day is otherwise fine.
Journaling 's one of the best answers to nightmares tho
Hanging is fine, the downward angle is not tho
Could be the thumb cramping from low level tension over prolonged periods
raise your chair
The one piece is real
I am sorry to tell you that there is not that many other that are like that unfortunately.

How to not get rist problems?
streatching and taking care of your body over all
how do i stretch
i do around 1-2 minutes before and after playing
but how to streatch
There’s probably videos out there on it
#resources in additional resource, then health guide, it's the last link there for wrist stretching.
thank you
normal for arm to get exhausted, especially during static? Feels like I can't even do a 30m session without resting my arm on the desk at some points to recover
maybe im just very weak, idk
That also happen to me, right now I am taking small break after a few exercises, so you do a few scenarios and take a small break to rest your arm, you can also stretch your wrist and hand at the same time. It feel like it help, but might not be the reason why I am a little bit less tired for my arm. I hope that help!
yeah atp I feel like more than aim I'm just trying to build arm strength so i can actually focus on the scenario 😭
Think of it as a gym session then, what do you want to improve? Probably aim arm stamina, what can you do for that? Multiple long set with lots of reps, but not too much. Something I saw in this very channel a day or two ago is a video about injuries in the arm and pain in the wrist and how it's often miss diagnosed as something much worst that it's actually is. Often is a lack of strength in the muscle, mostly hand muscle, so maybe that is also whatyou have one way or another. Maybe doing some push-up to strengthen your muscle can be good, also you could do some wrist/forearm/grip strength training, since that will help a lot with the wrist. I think the reason why it help is that often the muscle are too tense and that hurt you a bit, so doing some strength training or, maybe better, some muscle endurance training, could be good. (I am not an health professional or student at all, so I might be severely outside of the real reasons and if you actually suffer from something, please get actual help from peoples that actually know what they do and not some random person that have no degree or actual knowledge in the field) Ideally, someone that have actual knowledge will correct me for that and actually give you proper good advises for that.
ok so, i have this problem where everytime i try a grip that involves utilizing my fingers for anything my pinkie feels really stiff and it makes me uncomfortable, the only grip that feels comfortable is the palm grip but ppl say its not good for aiming so, also i have a g203
Hey guys! I don't have any wrist pain that I know of anymore but I was wondering if there is a consistent Wrist/Forearm routine I can use everyday? :D
Palm grip not good is a cringe statement tbh
All pros in CS have some form of palm grip, heck even OW pros do it
If you wanna train finger movement force yourself to play at like 5-10cm/360 for a while in aim trainers
Pick a light mouse, grip it far back. Rest your wristbone and palm base on the pad, and relax your whoooooole arm.
5-10? fr isn't that to fast?
Id like to improve the finger control too but you tried that method by your self?
Yea I do it often, it's challenging as hell but going really fast sens and gradually coming down to your regular sens is an insanely effective strat for smoothness and finger control
All the people I've rec'd this method to have been very happy w it
I often pay at around 45-60cm
When I do this method, I'll play my run at 5cm. Sometimes even faster, like 2cm. If I can't control it at all I repeat the run.
Once I get okayish control with it, I lower the sens. Maybe like 5 to 10. Then same thing, once control looks proper I lower to 20. Then 30,etc
You start with a super fast sens until you can control it and slowly lower it?
Wow that method sounds insanely good

Thanks you!!!!
Not always, but as an exercise for Ftip control it works damn well for me
whats your opinion on meds + training, i have an adhd diagnosis and access to stimulant meds, but i do not take them as I am concerned for my health in long run, theres different conditions i could go to the doctor and get medicines for such as anti anxiety but I have been pretty puritan, i only consume medical cannabis
What's your medication treating exactly?
If you actually need the stims, maybe use half or a/4 the dose at first, and see if you're actually having any detrimental effects
Rejecting medication altogether is pretty extreme and can/will hurt you in some way
i would say those questions should be answered independently of training, theres no meds + training, take them if you need them medically to function and avoid them if you don't
any impact on training should be pretty insignificant if you have normal clinical function
what do i do if the front side of my wrist hurts when i play a lot?
i do an ice bath, it hurts but it feels so good after...and also, now i try to stop the moment something hurts and just rest 30 - 60 minutes. try again, if it still hurts rest a whole day

So this is just a little program I had for myself when I didn't have much space or money to afford to go to a gym. I'm still translating the rest of the program but this was the core of the weeks it's a repeating 6 week cycle that you can scale up naturally as you progress
Just do the ppl split at the gym and aim train
probably bad conditioning
i need assistance with how i should sit at this current setup its temporary and im on a round table so its odd
how often do u do this
after any really hard workout, just like the athletes do and any time I feel pain in my wrist, fingers or if the tendons in my lower forearm are sore. and you dont need a lot of ice to start, it will be very cold.
anyone knows how to fix that thick vein, it feel so weird when i play smootheness scenes cuz it always feels like someone is pushing onto that part of my skin when that shi reveals
looks like you're flexing your wrist up way too much
i have a lot of pain (if I move my wrist or if I pressure it) in this area after a long session of aim training, why this specific area? my arm rests on an XSOFT artisan pad while aim training so its not because of a hard surface
how high is your desk relative to your chair ?
my armrests on my chair are the same level as my desk (cant go higher)
do your elbows fall down naturally or are they propped up by the armrests ?
i think i aint
i think it was mostly just cuz dehydration
i also need to fix that so my arm isnt always on the desk cuz my desk is so high up
they hang in the air but most of my arm is on the desk
i dont stay on the armrests while aiming
ok, so there's no pressure from the desk edge on your arm ?
Could be a pinky being too tensed up over long durations then
yeah theres no pressure from the desk, im very slightly higher than my desk while aiming
it might just be my pinky yeah
because i do tense it up
playing lots of smooth tracking scenarios seriously helped me relax my grip, i highly recommend it
when i move my wrist in a circle the like middle of my arm at the top hurts
and my arm tenses up like a TON
How do I stop goonin genuine question
I´ve been spending more time than usual in benchmarks the past few days and now im experiencing some tight wrist feeling after playing for a bit each time
i stretch & warmup everytime so i dont know how i should fix it
Generally just work on strengthening/training it a bit as well, you can start here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vmyTha-kP0 and maybe check some more 1HP videos on the topic

has anyone used a gyroball or wtv they are called, could it help with the weird noises and clicking my wrist makes when i do circle
after playing for like 15 minutes (kovaak) my whole arm from wrist to shoulder becomes like weak? doesnt "hurt" but i feel like I do not have any strenght in it anymore after those 15mins
Used to happen to me a lot, doing more sports helped me eliminate the issue completely
I do enough sports i'd say 🤷♂️
Maybe it's a blood flow thing then
Go walk when you take breaks
Do you exercise @upbeat flax
Does anybody know how to make your Keyboard placement and sometimes mouse placement more comfortable sometimes it feels comfortable sometimes it feels not!
arms should fall naturally onto the desk, meaning forearms about 90° to the shoulders. Often people will incline the keeb and the mouse angle so it's easier on the wrists, you can give it a try
kinda like that, look at the keeb angle
Yes
play thingauntlet till you die of boredom, it's very good at smoothing out your tracking and in turn your aim in general
what can i do if how i sit just feels off like for the past few days i feel like changing monitor position etc. but i dont find anything that feels comfortable. do you guys have any videos or something i can try?
i am 1.72cm tall with a desk height of 77cm an a chair height of 52cm
stack pillows and towels under your butt
anyone know the best time to workout for like brain/game performance?
From my experience, exercise in the mid to late morning gives me the best energy throughout the day and my scores in game go up
anyone know why my shoulder hurts when im trying to track, ive been told i might be clenching my mouse too much, makes my shoulder feel like I tried to max rep on cable lat raises
Day 10 no nicotine
how can i deal with my eye starting to burn while playing tracking scenarios
things like static i dont blink (noticeably at least) for like 10ish min maybe more
but 20 seconds in tracking scenarios my eyes start to hurt
Your eyes get alot more action In my opinion while doing tracking activites @faint horizon
do you notice pushing down on the mouse/your whole forearm down when tracking ?
Yeah I think sometimes i use more force
try and relax as much as possible, and barely hold the mouse
yeah ive worked on that
can someone explain the like forearm pain during static idk if maybe im just moving wrong but
any time I try to speed up a little bit my entire forearm just kills itself
so annoyed it seems like i need a cutaway table nowadays because thighs too muscular(/fat/retaining water) to use subrange of motion where shoulder abduction is little to none(ie arms closer to torso) without activating shoulder elevation
Do you feel like a burning sensation on the inner part of the forearm, like the portion in contact w the desk?
It ends up being like more of the outer for me
If not the entire forearm in itself too
Sounds like light rsi @open ivy ?
Whats rsi
Repetitive stress injury, you might have overused your muscles/tendons/nerves/nerve sheath to an extent
Ah i see
gs bro
What gyroball brand did you guys get because so far I've gotten 2 and both have arrived broken from amazon, it's so annoying I just want a working gyroball
Good job! You got this!

i have a similar issue but its consistently tense and located around the circled region.

I've been following this routine on and off but it seems to be minimally effective on days where i extensively play (5+ hrs val)
are there any other tools or routines i can implement to prevent muscle fatigue or improve recovery?
Do you workout at all?
yeah but not extensively on anything and i do stretch
you should be good on most fronts then, how are you holding your mouse ? How far up do your first knuckles are from the desk when playing ?
i use a claw-palm grip and am conscious of when i do grip my mouse tightly to relax, and i have my elbow touching the edge of the desk, while my shoulder is close to me (mainly wrist aimer)
thank you for this video link really appreciate it ❤️
when claw gripping, make sure you're not pulling the back of your hand upwards too much
that'll put a lot of tension on your extensors
thanks for note
how can i avoid getting cold hands ?
workout more often in the week, drink coffee, use ginkgo/pycnogenol
Yeah thats how it is for me too except it starts off in that area then ends up moving into my entire forearm and up to my shoulder
what is ginkgo?
an herb you can extracts of
what do I do when I'm still tired even after getting 9-10 hours of sleep, its been a bit since I woke up so its not like I recently woke up, I had a healthy breakfast and drank coffee
not even sure
maybe I try doing a workout? Idk if that will make me more tired later though
I usually go to bed around 11 - 11:30 PM and wake up multiple times during the night, but I fully get myself up around 10-11 AM
how are you vitamines and electrolytes wise ?
i get mad when i lose on koovaks any tips?
honestly. no idea. I took a multivitamin earlier today, trying to see if I feel any different when I started taking them. I don't know what I'm supposed to do when it comes to what I eat
have red meat, veggies, enough fats and as low carbs when you can
taking vits and electrolytes will take a few days before you notice the diff, even being dehydrated takes 48h to fix
yea that's fair. I've been also drinking way more water than normal and trying to get myself to workout more
but like I don't know exactly how much veggies, meat ect I'm supposed to eat in a day and what gauges that. not sure if its just supposed to be for 1 meal, 2 like idek
You can use apps like cronometer to track your macros, and see what you're lacking in from day to day
hmm okay, I'll check that out
Hi guys I work in a warehouse company where we distribute beer, occasionally lifting 30 lbs cases consistently most days but there’s certain days where I have to carry stacks of beer cases along with beer kegs. I’ve had a forearm pain where it feels like a string of muscle pain on my forearm. Before some of my fingers would on random days go sort of numb not really but that went away in left with the forearm pain occasionally so was wondering what I could do to get rid of this for good if not tolerate it, sorry for long paragraph haha
Interferes with like aim training at times and smoothness
ask your company if they have a policy for injury prevention
I’m sick with the flu does the aim grind continue or will it affect me negatively
if you do, keep it minimal. But know that if you do a lot of physical exertion, or having bad mental because of lower scores since your sick, can cause some problems with recovery time.
but like honestly, as long as your getting plenty of rest, drinking lots of water, and not getting physically strained or mentally exhausted its probably fine
also not an expert tho, so don't quote me on that
ive been getting like a tense/tightness feeling in the top of my hand that extends down to my thumb when playing, it usually starts after an hour or two but recently its been as soon as i hold my mouse and it feels like i just cant move my hand sometimes, does anyone know of stretches/exercises that can help with it?
I've deffo did this, didn't impact me as much as I thought
Try and bring the palm of your hand to your arm, bending the wrist down smoothly and without stop.
You're most likely pulling the back of your hand too high over long periods
this really helped, thanks :D ❤️
Is there a chance to avoid wrist injury? After 100 hours of aimlabs i switched mouse grip to clawgrip because of minor pain, now 20 hours later pain is back, any suggestions? I've been stretching everyday 5-10 times.
rest more, get a good strengthening routine
how do i deal with bad shoulder/neck pain in static scenarios
after aim training for around 30ish min my elbow starts to hurt is this normal when youre starting out?
Having more muscle helps a lot yes. But it won't fix the issue, just help prevent the injury from being too bad when just gaming.
Learning to use all 3 parts of your arm (fingers, wrist and arm) lets you spread the stress among more parts, and lessen the injury to each individual part.
Rule of thumb is use your arm more, as bigger muscles take more time to fatigue and injure
You're either too tensed up, your chair is not high enough or you don't have enough muscles
I mainly use wrist only and barely my arm, already went down to 29/360 clawgrip
I'm using mainly the arm even tho I play at 34cm atm
It's doable, just takes some practice
Wrist only is a surefire way of creating a stress injury in this region and up the forearm, because you don't share the load across lots of joints
I believe resistance training and adding finger tips for microadjustments Will help me.
For sure if you train your tendons it won't be bad, but if your get injured because of something else and/or have a bad way of using the mouse, that will injured you even if you do some resistance training.
I will try that ring now, I am training for fine motor skill at around 20cm/360 and i I can add the arm a bit more, that would be super fun for that training too.
I tried it twice and got my two best score of the day, so I guess that work well.
I'm starting to get the other way of the circle, getting to move the fingers enough now that the arm moves the way I want
does gym help with wrist pain
Is your tightening sensation around the white area near the "common extensor tendon" or something like that? It might be a tendon issue that you have, which kind of would make sense since they are what link your muscle to your bones.
So, it's around 2 inch from your wrist toward your elbow? I am trying to see what could cause that with the little amount of knowledge I have about medicine, but still could be a tendon issue or something like that, I am really not sure.
Think you're gripping too hard w your fingers
Can you try playing a tracking scen like Centering II at like 5-10cm?
A few days ago I did hundreds of flicks with hard tension in muscles of my wrist and arm and now my wrist hurts, there are a kind of electric shock and tingling in my whole hand. I have an appointment with an orthopedist and I'm afraid it might be carpal tunnel syndrome. How likely is it that many flicks done in a short period of time with tight muscles can cause this condition? I have 400 hours in aim trainers and it never happened before
sounds like textbook RSI
How can I spot the difference? Symptoms are pretty similar
carpal tunnel syndrom is a form of rsi
rsi is just an injury caused by repetitive strain
So It might be CTS?
it's possible, depends on your exact symptoms though
do you have any pain above the wrist? forearm, elbow, neck and shoulders area?
As I said above + Feeling of weakness in hand. Although I can do fist and point a thumb up
Sometimes but it's more like quick shots of pain
where exactly?
definitely make sure you talk to your doctor about the specifics, don't just assume it's unrelated to the wrist pain
nerve injuries will flow downstream, for example a neck injury could cause you hand or finger pain while the pain in your neck might be mild or intermittent
Here. Sometimes on one side of my arm, other time on the second. And also sometimes in my biceps
yeah make sure you mention all of this when you have your appointment
if it's all the way up to your biceps i wouldn't think it's CTS
i've found a lot of doctors aren't super well prepared to deal with pc gaming related injuries so it can be a bit challenging to get a good diagnosis, though I'm hoping things are better for you
Yes. I did some CTS tests and the result was negative. I can hold things in my hand etc
Nah I will tell him what's flick
It'd be easy to show
you could check out the 1hp guys too if your appointment isn't helpful, i think they got some stuff pinned in this channel
Quick move of hand on the desk with tension in arm and wrist
in general, once your injury heals I'd recommend getting a good strengthening routine so your body handles the motions a bit better, there's a lot of smaller and weaker muscles that can help keep you pain free with some work put in. also take more breaks and try using less tension in your sessions, repetitive high tension is really rough on you physically

I heard that many doctor miss diagnose those issue to carpal tunnel and such, it might or might not help, I am not sure.
i was suffering from full body chronic neuropathy and my docs (even neurologist specialists) would just do basic-ass cts tests on me and then shrug at me and start talking about their personal lives, it really was defeating
Yeah, doctor are not always the best human and some time get numb to the pain of others, which is sad. That is why I really like those that are actually very much helping their patients and caring for them a lot.
The peoples from 1Hp seems to all be great peoples and I love that there is a partner ship between them and here.
Also, the most important thing, are you alright now? Do you feel better than you used to?
i've seen tons of improvement since then, it's not perfect but it's livable at least
That is great! Glad you are doing better now! I hope what helped you will continue to help you and get to a point where it's even less of a bother for you.
Hello community, I wanted to share something that may help some of you out there, I have been struggling a lot with consistency, stability and smoothness mainly, but after taking my hydration seriously for 2 days I was able to break lots of PBs on scenarios that were extremely affected by stability and smoothness.
I thought reading this experience of mine may help some of you out there, so I came here to share it with you, good luck training ^^
Ty for hydration reminder, I'll chug down 2 liters when i get home
Don't over hydrate either, won't end up well if you actually do that
I know i was kinda jk but I'm dehydrated most of the time
why do i get so shakey all the time even though i dont actually think im nervous? what can i do to help combat this?

rest, lots of practice, work on your tension so you arent using too much, and strengthen your muscles
do pullups
Well I don't want to be the "oh you're dead" one. But if anything u do won't help with shakiness. U might have the same health condition that I do. I don't know how it is correctly named in English but direct translation I can make from my head would be Essential Tremor.
Its neurological condition that causes ur body (arms legs etc) to shake. And from doctors I've visited they said it's not curable but u can lower the effects (Funnily enough) by taking a shot of alcohol when symptoms are really bad.
But yet again like i said, I don't want to be the Online doctor. But keep in mind that if nothing you do helps with reducing the shakiness, u just might have that condition.
That's like the worst case scenario.
But often its just tention. U don't think about it, u don't think you're stressed, but your body is under a bunch of tention. Then you shake without even noticing.
Relaxing, doing various muscle exercises (in other words strengthening muscles) might help reduce tention. Also like @jaunty ermine mentioned, be sure that you have enough rest (and good quality rest, like proper sleeping schedules, take breaks etc)
Avoid caffeine. That can cause shakiness too. (Not for everyone. Since everyone's body is different)
Maybe your sitting position isn't right. Posture etc. bunch of things can lead to tention - shakiness.
Thanks
more i think about this more i wanna actually check it out cause ive always just subconsciously shake my hands and legs throughout the day but i just chalked it up to adhd and since i didnt have this shaking when gaming as bad a few years ago maybe its just getting worse. When I say i shake i dont mean shaky aim i mean arms and legs are visibly shaking which makes me think its not just tension control but i should definetly try working out more even if it doesnt help with this itll help with other aspects im sure
Is it a problem with the thumb resting against the mousepad?
U don't understand your question
I*
When I remove the base of my thumb from the mousepad I feel more fluid with the mouse but I feel discomfort because I'm unaccustomed to playing like this I think
this part, bro, bro
Now I don't know how I should play

It's not the case. I feel pain, tingling, sometimes electric shock no matter what I do. Since Monday on both hands. Added to this were attacks of sharp pain in arm and now on the right shoulder.
There was one night when my whole right hand became numb. I have not used the mouse at all for 6 days and the symptoms are the same or even stronger.
I have an appointment with an orthopedist tomorrow and will find out something
A lot of people recommend that I play with my palm off the mousepad, but what's your opinion?
I found it much more enjoyable to play with my palm off when it comes to controlling the mouse, but I feel uncomfortable, I don't know if I play for a while I would get used to it or go back to playing the way I always have
my pinky gets sore and tired after playing for a hour or more. My other fingers are fines, is there a way to relax it?
just a heads up this sounds like a neck/upper back injury
tbhif it doesnt hurt after longsessions it's fine for you to keep doing it
make sure your posture is good, do not slouch, be careful with neck rotation until you can get checked out
uncomfortable in the sense that I'm not used to playing like this but I feel my aim control better
again, if there's no actual pain it's fine
nerve going through the shoulder down to the arm is being pinched, or tissue around it is welling up. Can even hapen along the neck, it's even worse
To be fair
I have scheuermann disease
But I spent so many hours in kovaaks and Fortnite and nothing happened. Also my neck is not painful
(I posted this in #advice but perhaps it belongs here, sorry for the spam) Hi guys, I'm like 70h into my kovaaks journey and most of my life i played tac FPS like CS and Siege, where aim is barely needed, but I kinda got interested in becoming an actual good aimer in general. I feel like because those games rely a lot on who shoots first I got really used to a snappy/flick-ish aim, therefore aiming with a lot of tensions, especially in my upper arm and shoulder. These days, when playing wide wall scenarios and speed switching scenarios my shoulder/upper arm starts hurting in seconds from all that tension. Keep in mind the pain starts fading as soon as I stop aiming and I dont get this type of pain at all when actually playing. My question is, i feel like my aim is better when its tense and the scores prove it, should that tension be there and should I learn how to have that tension without the pain or should that tension not be there in the first place? Apologies for the long question and thank you for the help
Get used to playing much higher sens than you'd think
it is a bit counterintuitive but a neck injury won't always be painful in the neck itself, what can happen is that the nerve roots for your arms may be getting compressed and irritated in the neck which could 100% explain why you are getting your neuropathy symptoms in both hands and arm + shoulder. sometimes the damage will just very slowly add up over time without you noticing and then one day you're getting tingling and pain that seems like it's slowly getting worse and worse without you even having to do anything to set it off.
As a non-doctor and someone who's just going off of words on a screen I obviously won't know for sure what you got going on, but I can say that I've had several friends (including myself) with spine/neck injuries that manifested with symptoms just like you described.
I also was mostly a siege gamer for a while and I started playing more games, some of them are like apex, overwatch and fortnite, for example. Those game required a faster sensitivity than what I used (45 cm/360) for siege and I had the misconception of the muscle memory thing, but I learn that does not matter, it might be harmful to keep the same sensitivity all the time if something. I started to go at faster sensitivity for those game and I went to something like 27 cm/360 for some of them, that helped me a lot to have that range in aim trainer, since I use anything between those two and even outside of those two in some scenarios (I train at 20cm/360 to get used to fast sensitivity and smooth out my aim) and that helped me a lot, like I just said. Basically, Half Note is 100% right for that, get used to a faster range of sensitivity and use that whole range as you please, go faster to see how it feel, go slower than your original sensitivity to train with that and see how it feel and how it goes and just change things around to see how it can feel.
What to do when my arms get shaky after the gym to the point I can not aim accuracte and my clicking suffers from it immensely? I can not always aim train before the gym sadly, and whenever I do it after the gym I am immensely worse
Especially of course if I train muscle groups that use my arms a liot
Not much you can do about it except not over training the arms. If you want bigger muscles, you'll need to do intense training w them. Which leaves no stamina for the endurance based work of aim training
Alright. I guess the fact I was sick and didnt train for 3 weeks also doesnt make it better cause now I got even worse muscle soreness lmao
You'll get back to it quickly tho
Focus on gym first, and just do shorter aim sessions
Yea for sure, I once had to take a break for 5 months because of issues with the nerves in my arms and it didnt even take a month until I was at my previous performance again
I notice I lose quite the speed in static scenarios when I take breaks
I have immense issues keeping my focus in static. I was able to improve my scores by a lot ever since started aimtraining properly but I barely increased my static scores by one rank. I have too much ADHD to properly train static, I always start overshooting after merely 3-4 tries because it gets too stale and boring to me
My tracking and control stays really consistent, but static goes away alsmot completely
I started out with bronze/silver level tracking and now got diamond level tracking in all tasks after a month of aimtraining but only got from silver to gold in static
Yea, clicking in general is always flactuating for me depending on how much I train it whereas tracking and even switching stays pretty consistent. But static is the worst for sure
just recently I got a huge highscore in popshot, focused on tracking for a while again, got back and now my popshot scores are even worse than before
It really helps when you get into a flow of just deceleration and flicks, makes the whole thing play like a tracking scenario
you also got tips for static?
Nah I'm shit at static
mee fr
Cursed to Gold S2, haven't climbed past Gold S3 AL or S5 kvk
im also gold s4 kvk atm lmao
Think I'll push for gold complete S5 in the summer if I have a bit of free time
good luck with that my friend, my current goal is diamond s4
Grinding for scores is a real drag, don't have time for that nowadays
understandable, I also reduced my aimtraining time again because it doesnt fit into my schedule all that well
Short but really focused sessions are very rewarding to play imo
anyone know why I get a random hit of depression and tiredness around 2-5 cst? even after plenty of nights rest, all the sudden I just get really tired.
been focusing on eating better and working out
thats good advice even tho i have been experimenting a lot with sens already, thanks tho
anyone got help for desk height and ergonomics and stuff related to that im trying to adjust a proper height but not matter what height i put for my desk i have some sort of weird feeling in my arm its not really pain it dosnt really hurt but its their its just discomfort ig
Our desks weren't made for us. They were made for everyone. Simple fixes like adjusting your chair to match your height and adjusting your monitor to an arm's distance can make a huge impact. What are some other adjustments to optimize your workspace?
Ergonomics expert Jon Cinkay from the Hospital for Special Surgery is here to show you how to ...
Unironically the best video for ergonomics I watched , been doing this forever and never had an issue
my mental got totally chopped today when doing pasu because I kept getting frustrated that I couldn't get any even remotely acceptable runs and kept performing the same bad habits despite trying not to, any tips for that
Thank you so much
It's a CTS
Surgery is awaiting me on both hands
I'm done with aim training for the next 6 months
have you gotten a second opinion? surgery is very drastic and has risks
It's not drastic from what I understand
I will visit the neurologist
And ses
See
Doc needs to see if the nerve is damaged
i can't tell you what to do but please get a second opinion, maybe give the 1hp guys a try because they specialize in gaming related injuries
cts would not give you pain in shoulder or bicep, it's also very strange that it would suddenly affect both your hands at the same time.. begging you to find someone else to talk to 😭
check the pins in this channel and see if you can get in touch with any of those doctors
CTS often affects both hands
Neurologists will see if the nerve is damaged
i'm rooting for you, just please get as much info as you can before committing to any surgery
I will say the same as Xira, please contact 1HP before committing to surgery, since there is more than one person that got surgery for something similar and just caused harm and no good for the person, I will send the vidéo they made about that in a few minutes, but please make sure you contact them before going for surgery.
Here is the original video for why I say what I have said : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l51a4b8Olc&t=522s I recommend watching the broken healthcare part, since that might be more what you are experiencing and here is another video they made 5 days ago about CTS, I have not watch it yet, but I will watch it right now : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZUCephlcog Please make sure with them it's worth it, since you could go as far as lose a lot of mobility in both hand forever and never be able to work job with fine control or game if it goes not as well as expected for the surgery (that is what one of the peoples that got surgery said, I can't say if it's 100% true or not, so take it with a huge grain of salt).

thanks for digging up the videos ❤️
I wanted my source, since I don't personally have any medical skill, so I wanted them to see this and see on what I am basing myself on, also, you could tag the person that make the video in the discord if they are here if you really want their opinion, but I am not sure how allowed/ok it is to do so.
normally i don't want to bother them since they are likely busy, but if someone is actually considering double wrist surgery it's probably pressing enough of a reason to ping em without feeling bad
kind of miss when they were more active in channel, feels like they've been a lot less active lately
Up the sens, reduce the movements. Also, you should try and emulate Snowie's technique
While Snowi has not played aim training in full for a very long time, it is insane to think about how ahead he was in terms of technique during the humble beginnings of Kovaak's and the aim community. His bounce 180 score here https://youtu.be/saDk0zs6s9k was 25 points above second place.
Whose technique should I cover in the next episode of Un...
I have a lot of time. I will actively go for surgery but to this time also try physiotherapy etc
I have send the video a little bit above, it's both videos from 1hp with one that have "fix this" in the image and the other one is "most doctors miss this" I would recommend watching them, since more than one person were in a very similar condition as you and got surgery that cost a lot of money just to get permanent damage when they did not need it at all. Physiotherapy is definitely a better option, make sure to do some for a while to make sure it will work well and also go check out the routine/self-diagnostic tool 1hp made for that kind of problem exactly. The complete tool is just 15$ US right now too. Here is the link for one of the two : https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/ and here is their website for more stuff there : https://1-hp.org/1hppainnavigation/
I will try non-surgical things before. Even if I wanted to do surgery I have to wait like 6-7-8 months
It's a plenty of time so I'll try what you sent
Even to reduce pain
alright, I hope it will make you feel better very fast and will fix your problem!
Me when I’ve had this pain for like 5 years and it’s never gotten better
Can someone help me lose 300 pounds in 1 week i need to impress ladies
dont eat
absorb energy from the sun by standing outside, duh
any1 aim trained on a standing desk? how has your experience been?
dont eat for a week and sell your organs, drink as much as water, run every second ?
if you can still survive at the end and if ur lucky to lose half of 300 pounds, ur lucky
Hey, quick question I can play all day and all night without any issues, but I can't grind aim trainers because my hand cramps up. I hate it. At the beginning, I couldn't even train for 10 minutes because of how uncomfortable it was, but now it's better since I stopped focusing so much on my aim and started using the spacebar to shoot (and doing wrist exercise). Still, it's not enough for long sessions. Do you have any advice? Also, when tracking small targets, it's the most uncomfortable because I have to be really precise and fast (i think the issue is that i am not used to dragging my mouse so much when playing cod). Thanks in advance for the advice and help.
How do I goon without my wrist or hand cramping (serious question)
That might be you not having enough stamina for the aim training, before you repeat that you can game day and night without problem, le me remind you that aim trainer is a lot more intensive for your hand, wrist and arm than playing even the faster games, so you will not have the stamina for it as much as you would have for gaming, you also need more fine motor skills for the aim trainer than for most games, so you will have more strain on those. I would recommend making sure to use your arm, wrist and fingers, if your grip allow you for the fingers, and I would recommend to do some stretch. If the issue continue, one, take a rest for a day or two of aim training and two, try to do some strengthening of your hand and forearm muscle, that some time can be the cause of the issue you will have. If it become worst, stop and ask us once again here. (Other thing that is important is that I am NOT in any way shape or form a professional in the field, I say stuff based on what I already saw here and elsewhere for that and I just try to help as much as I can, but I am nowhere near a profesional in any medical field)
Thanks for your advice i will try to exercise and stretch more
Limit time in aim trainers, that's the best advice possible. Everyday, always less than 45 minutes
It's so frustrating realizing after Xmas vacations that I get better results when I spend 20 minutes on the evenings now compared to during the vacations where I was grinding benchmarks for no results
Is playing with your arms resting on the table using force to provide stability to your torso bad?
You shouldn't have to
Is your chair that bad, that you need to push with your arm to support the torso.?
Hey guys i‘m an immortal 3 valorant player which came back after 6 months break. My aim got better than ever but i have some problems with my grip. My ring and pinkie finger sometimes gets really stiff, cold and in really intense /extreme situations it hurts / gets numb.
The weird thing is it sometimes happens already in the warmup and sometimes i can play 5 hours straight without any problems.
In Aim Trainers like Kovaaks it only happens after really long sessions.
i switched to vxe r1 pro but i am having much pain from the the grip especially from ring finger and cuz of that my whole arm is in pain
before i had an ergonomic mouse and i never felt pain even after 6-7 hrs of kovaaks
I'd say you need a new mouse but I could be wrong
I don't even have a chair, bro
But look here, I play more or less like this, but with the support I said
What u sitting on then
Your mouse looks too small for your hand
Let's say I don't have much to lean on, do you think this is a problem in the long term?
yes 100%
I tend to get a burning sensation between my pointer middle and ring fingers right below my knuckles when aiming for a while / sometimes when I start aiming then it goes away, any ideas?
Nerve sheath being stressed, bad blood flow to the hand, etc many possible reasons

how long does minor dmg take to heal? (no persistent pain just like tightness in some parts of the wrist and forearms)
is it normal to only feel fatigue in this area while doing scenarios? I don't notice it while gaming
lol i sorta get that shit too, its freaky. i dont death grip or anything i feel like my table may be 3-4 cm too high but idk
I had a flare up in that area that took a few days for me to not notice it anymore
hmm aight ty
i use my arm rest and slightly tilt my forearm up cause my arm rest is like 3 cm below the table
and it doesnt rlly happen then
i see... okay. I am just forearm on the table like 2 inches from my elbow. Ill try adjusting angles and length and see if that changes anything
whenever i play my index finger always hurts like hell, wondering if the reason is if I'm putting a lot of pressure or if its just normal
any pain while playing is not normal
If possible, align the rest w the desk height
not possible unfortunately
Put some pillows under your ass and on the rest, it'll bring you to the desk height
Just go gym
So many problems that are pain related can be fixed by the gym
Hi, im looking for a budget friendly chair. I couldnt find any list or recommendations on the server, maybe i missed smth. Thanks! =)
There aren’t any really if you want a good chair don’t buy any “gaming” chairs most of them aren’t the greatest imo and your better off getting an office chair
Also what is ur budget anyway?
@zenith grove hm, i wouldnt want to spend above like 700€ or smth, the cheaper the better ofc for my wallet but i value my back too x)
stemscommunity? what is that lmao
Oh wow
There’s quite a bit with that money he’ll
You can get a chair for 150 lol
There’s some chairs for Flexispot
It’s on sale too
All within ur price range too
Amazon.com: FlexiSpot C5 Ergonomic Standard Office Chair
Shop office chairs in a variety of styles and colors from FlexiSpot. The FlexiSpot ergonomic office chair is designed for productivity without compromising comfort.
thanks a lot! The c5 wont show in my region (germany), neither on the website, nor on amazon tho :D
Oh mb
nah all good!
Yeah but I think if you search for flexispot it should show ur region
And Amazon too
It just that I provided direct links to the us version
yeah thats true, but the links actually directly switched to my region :D thats new to me
i see the c7 for example or the gc5
Ahh okay
dont know where else to ask this but is it possible to overtrain the biceps to a point where they become weaker? and now my bicep feels weird when lifting even 20 pounds and i can barely do 5 reps from before i could do 20 , i usually train pretty hard but the last 3-4 weeks ive been going super hard and i dont know what to do
I get bicep and tricep pain whenever I play apex, what could be some of the reasons? I suspect it either has something to do with posture or improper aiming technique
Steelcase chairs are great too, for 700 you should also look into Herman Miller Sayl
Do you stretch?
I do stretch occasionally but it does not seem to help
too much tension
how hard do you grip your mouse?
Have you been trying to stretch out the chest by any means?
Keep in mind, when you are going hard with your workouts, your body needs time to recover otherwise you will not be able to fire on all cylinders.
Have you given your biceps a little rest?
I'm not sure if I'm actually sitting right and what its supposed to feel like. because what feels comfy to me eventually makes my back part of my right shoulder start to hurt
hey guys so like sunday-thur i have school so like i gotta wake up at 6am then school ends at like 2pm i reach home at like 2:30 i eat sleep till like 3:30 or 4:30 then i study till like 7:30 then eat if i do kovaaks for 1 hour (vdim) after eating and then sleep will my sleep be fine??
do you sleep around 9?
I just started to try aim training, and for some reason doing the VT angleshot intermediate routine makes me very stressed. Its weird. Like I try to make sure Im breathing and relaxing, but something about the unpredictability of the balls moving really stresses me out. Anyone experienced this?
well i can sleep anytime after eating so im fine sleeping anytime as long as it means my sleep schedule is chill and i get to aim train and study :)
Pretty normal
As long as your getting 8-10 hours
Except you should limit naps to 30 minutes tbh, a nap longer than an hour might disrupt your sleep later
ah okay thank you
8 hours allright
ill make sure to get 8 hours of sleep
thanks
Make sure your elbow falls naturally to your side, and that your desk/arm rest just sits under them. You want your wrists flat on the desk, that's a good indicator the angle at the elbow's right.
Hi, I just realized that doing the CTunnel Opening, from this video: https://youtu.be/lzjOCYkn8mY?t=244 can help me to perform a lot better, is there any other exercises or routines to help with this?
This specific part feels kinda tense and is hard to microadjust or flick cause of this before doing the CTunnel Opening and after doing it's feel temporarily like i have no tension at all
Healthiest option for an energy drink and how much is safe to consume during the week
I get low hours of sleep
Like 4
And I study computer systems and networks
It's soo hard
I need something to buzz me back
hate to say it because i know you know, but you really need more sleep somehow
idk probably Celsius or something, are you looking for caffeine or other things? also I would only limit to 1 energy drink a day, over long periods it will be super unhealthy, but drinking more than 1 day is bad.
but why ARE you getting low hours of sleep? too much studying? other problems?
i double down on that, get more sleep as a long term solution please
Other problems and studying just like last week first week of school since break we have gone over 7+plus lectures
Like plus my other problems
I don't have hella free time
I fight to get some time on Fortnite bcs it's my favorite game
No silver bullet, but if you're short on time try and get powernaps throughout the day (coffee into 20min nap) and go for Reishi in the evening.
Eleuthero + schisandra + Rhodiola in the morning would be fire but kinda expensive
You need to get some sleep. Your body can’t run optimally if you aren’t doing the right things. Taking caffeine isn’t bad but in this particular situation, it seems like it can potentially be a crutch for bad behaviors.
Caffeine doesn't hit me like it used to so it's practically useless and idk what can I do to improve my sleep I simply have wayy too many things at once
either you figure out how to optimize your schedule so you get more sleep, or you join the ranks of the living dead
You could also be taking in so much caffeine that at this point, it won't do what you want it to.
Caffeine is a drug of habit that just means that eventually what you take is not enough to have the same impact. I oftentimes peak and valley my caffeine intake. Also what time are you taking in caffeine and what time are you going to bed?
One thing you will realize is everyone has too many things at one. I am not trying to be rude, mean, etc. However, if you don't prioritize your sleep, it will impact you in ways that will carry over negatively into other things.
Yea I need to learn to let go I will try to get like 6/7hrs btw could you have any tips for studying longer lectures I need to get Soo much stuff off my back
I have to stop taking caffeine to stay awake I already stoped I can feel the urge it's very messed up
Yeah it can be pretty addicting, I mean hell I get caught in it sometimes myself.
How is your time management?
Pretty bad especially in my current situation I have to take extra care of my little sisters not too much time
I was Soo busy just yesterday I was only able to get 1 done
Dont forget about the caffeine half life...
Even a limited amount still hangs around in your system for a long while
The half-life of caffeine is the time it takes for the body to eliminate **half **of the caffeine. For healthy adults, the half-life is usually around 4–6 hours.
Which is totally understandable. I would just say sometimes you gotta also look at how your time is spent even outside of that situation where you are watching your sisters. Because I would say these instances are more of disruptions (little moments of chaos) but if your behaviors are the same outside of those disruptions then you have to figure out where the issues can be.
it's fine
wont hurt anythinf
and its satisfying as fuck too
as long as its not hurting anything imma keep doing it everytime i wake up
do the whole back and hips as well
tbh if you get into the habit of stretching when waking up, you'll avoid lots of injuries
Yeah honestly have some water when you get up and then hit some stretching for a few minutes. It is a pretty prime way to start the day.
no one actually knows why joints crack for sure but the leading theory is it's gas bubbled built up
there is no evidence that it's bad for you to crack them either
there was a doctor who cracked all the knuckles only on one hand for decades, to test out if it caused any damage, and found that it didn't lol
i dont think its cracking the joint since i can do it over and over
yeah it's not literally 'cracking' that's just the sound
everyone has it on various joints it's normal
Yeah as long as there is no pain, then you are good.
I would definitely say mobilizing joints is going to be helpful though.
Well there is some pain in the hips after it happens 2-3 times
Are you stretching throughout your day, or just moving even if it is walking for a little bit?
Stretches in the morning and i walk a fair bit for work
i can do 20 pulllups in a row iis this good for aiming
like forreaem stregnth or smth
Awesome
random question, does drinking coffee causes shaky hands
i didnt hold my mouse too tight so i don't think nerve is the rpoblem
it can
It can. One thing to help with that is taking l-theanine.
drugs?
it's an over the counter supplement like a vitamin
It helps counteract what caffine can do to people who can be a little sensitive or if you accidently take more than you should.
👍
Hitting a similar vein here but I tend to have to take a break every three or four 1min scenarios because my lower arm tenses up that much, which also causes a lot of shakiness. Is that still with in normal range or am I just death gripping my mouse like crazy?
try playing at much higher sens for a few reps then play the same scenario at your normal sens, it'll relax your grip tremendously
are you new to coffee, or are you drinking really high amounts ?
Yeah but if you are new, 1 packet is still more than the 0 packets you are used to. I would suggest you drinking half of it.
If you really need to.
Yeah if it's less than a year, you can still get the jitters quite a bit from coffee. Once you receptors are desensitized as hell it won't do jack shit to you
sometimes i feel like my sens is too high but my wrist also hurts from tensing up so much, what would i be able to do to fix this? i'm a val player on 800 dpi and .25 sens
Well it depends on if a person is caffeine sensitive
Depends on the task theyre playing though, cause ive a lower sense than that but even then val requires a lot of wrist flicks. Arm movements are mainly just for changing what angles you hold. Imo its just muscle stamina and over time itll just improve
+you need tension for flicking (the primary technique in val) so its natural that you will be tense often and tired
If you mean in terms of a tracking senario then its a whole other story
I have thumb pain what should I do guys pain in the closer joint to hand
is it better to do my aim training before or after the gym? i go pretty hard in the gym and whichever muscle group i work on is like jello afterwards. would this have a positive or negative effect on my aiming? in basketball, it always made my shot or dribbles better to do it after but idk if the same applies to aim training
I’d say try both imo I like having my muscles not be sore
So I do before working out
precise tracking after the gym is the best for me, but the rest i do before gym
grip less hard, maybe change grip style or mouse shape altogether
It’s up to you but typically after the gym your central nervous system is likely fatigued which can lead to shakiness especially when precise tracking

guys, does anyone have experience with smoking weed a lot and playing? when I was 19-22 ish I was able to smoke and lock in and go crazy, but now it feels like it brings me out of it most of the time and keeps me more unaware and able to function. Im 26. Anyone got anecdotes for this issue? Does stopping help?
I don't have any experience but listen.
Imagine you will stop smoking weed. It is better for your health, you will save money and you may get better when playing video games, which will hopefully replace the dopamine you got from the weed.
yeah you;re right, im an addict its really hard :/
Ive quit before but this time it feels like i really need it
i dont have firsthand experience of smoking and playing but i do play with several friends who smoke a lot and are convinced it makes them lock in better - but in reality i notice when they smoke because they start playing way worse 💀 i think they just feel like they are doing better and are having more fun because of the drug
maybe you should seek professional help
I definitely need to
think ur right too
try smth harder to lock in harder
ok sry bad joke
Does anyone know of pretty immediately available high level aim coaching? I got $$$ to spend and a hunger for super high level coaching. I've applied to VT, hit people up individually yesterday, but havent heard back. Am I being too impatient or does anyone know of someone who is a literal GOAT mechanically that wants to coach someone?
I do so shit in comp but good in everything else, I know its my mental but I honestly tried everything and dont know how to fix it
what is "everything else"
when does it appear
Try getting zero thoughts in your head while playing comp. That's the best advice I've been given and the one that makes me play my best
i started aim training regularly and after the first day i think i have cts
