im warmed up when i get on but the longer i play the colder i get and start shivvering and stuff
wtf
where is the body heat going š
i have no idea bro
75* f house with a sweater ahouldnt make me cold
i dont have a window in my room but theres a vent above my desk
maybe thats something
yeah its a ceiling one
that could be a likely cause
but does the air reach you
cuzz if u dont feel it it shouldnt be too much of a problem
actually with how convection works the cold air will come down to you and the hot air will cycle up
yeah honestly its probably that
but i dont think thats super significant
esp with ac off
or if ur wearing a sweater
but i should not be shivvering at 75f
and im assuming ur pc is there '
with a sweater
and my pc right next tome
this has been happening forever
could be a nervousness thing
do you feel nervous?
or normal
like if ur calm
my mom has an autoimmune disease that has her feeling weird with temperature
im normally like
yeah i get anxious from the stuff i play
that could be a reason
after 1 game of valorant or around 30 mins of playing im usually warm
do you warm up
maybe do stretches
helps with bloodflow
a few dm's and then i just get cold in comp
yeah thats probably a good idea for both of us
opposite of warmup
wait its crazy cuz i started stretching and the shoulder pain pulled up
then quit!
try not stretching for a week
honestly bad advice
but if thats causing problems
idk
Guys, how do I tell myself that I improved when clearly I have
I've topped some scores this week and I don't feel a sense of accomplishment
im not able to show it cuz i dont even realize when it happens but i just know, might be related to tracking/smoothness cuz there happens the most
Hey anyone have experiences with methylphenidate i got diagnosed with adhd and got prescribed Ritalin LA(generic) but it hasnāt really been helping much itās easier to get back on task and my brains a little more clear but iām experiencing the side effects just not the benefits? would it be more beneficial to talk to my physiatrist about trying Adderall or just an amphetamine in general or to ask for a higher dose
20mg rn btw once in the morning
Your tolerance grows in like a week or two from starting medication. So it could just be that. But vyvanse/elvanse/adderall could be better for you, who knows.
Talk to a doctor about it, personally for me, it depended on what kind of release the medication has and that itās strong enough. I went in 1 week from 18mg concerta to 36mg, then in 1 month to 54mg which Iāve been on for about 5 years now.
So definitely talk to your doctor.
Oh and another thing, make sure you eat protein when you are taking your medication.
I also tried eqyasum r-tard and another instant release methylphenidate and they were garbage for me
Alright
Yeah rn i think im just planning to ask for his opinions and see if we should up dosage or try a different medication
I ate some tuna and rice and it seemed to alleviate the side effects somewhat
Itās a bit of a complicated subject, but in general, you want to use the most consistent medication and raise the dosage progressively
Also donāt drink orange juice or acidic stuff when taking it
There are a whole lot of different types of amphetamine and methylphenidate based medication nowadays. I prefer concerta, but for you the best depends on your lifestyle and the side effects you get
Just be very specific about the side effects and positive effects of the medication to your doctor and what kind of problems you might have during different times of day
Hi, I sleep 7-9 hours but these days I just don't feel "awake" and while aim training I keep "falling asleep" also in game I'm not able to remain focused like I used to and go in autopilot due to this issue
Seems like something you see a doctor for, especially if it happens at other areas of life (school, driving, work)
i also had a lot of issues with methylphenidate ive been through almost all of the adhd medications adn honestly theres gonna side effects to alot of them its just which one do you think you can deal with
could be sleep apnea
wrist be poppin like crazy and im too tense sometimes on my hands what can i do to fix this
sometimes when iām getting decent sleep and this is still happening to me itās diet. worth trying easy stuff like that before involving docs imo
I probably have anger issues. I get mad very easily. During any gaming session I do, 9 times out of 10, will end on the brink of a total mental breakdown. As well as any aim training I do. I just get more angry, and more angry, which is commonly in response to bad performance on my part. If I aim poorly, do something stupid, miss a single shot, etc, thats what makes me tick the most. This is because I seem to really care about only playing good. I also just get super angry in general too, outside of gaming. I'd appreciate some advice.
does anyone else have pain in their right arm when doing tracking exercises? I'm not sure why but I think holding down the mouse button for an extended period of time causes some strain to my right arm. I'm doing the Volatic Daily Improvement Method (VDIM) and I'm currently doing the switching routines. I usually do the first 15 entries in the playlist, then I take a break from either a few minutes to an hour or two and then I do 15 more and that's the end of my training. so I do 30 entries from the playlist in total for the day
I'm not entirely sure but I think the area in pain differs slightly? but I think that's a difference between normal tracking and switching routines
idk i believe my diet is pretty good it has all necessary. It happens mostly in school or at the pc.
Does anyone know a way to stop my forearms from sticking to my table that isn't getting an arm sleeve and does it have to do with my skin or smthing?
i need advice i play static playlist to work on that technique is it better for me to play on my original sense or i should just lower it to like 60-80cm and train on that sense thanks
i have that problem to i got a sleeve and it steal feels like i would drag around the table feels like its jumping up and down like on a crappy road your driving on
it's normal and also depends on the material/texture of the table. buy an armsleeve, they are cheap asf
i could order one but they take months to deliver so thats why Im looking for an alternative
sock
hi guys, in your opinion, the level up or something like that helps with the focus on a game?
?
Visit a sports store and get an undergarmemt
Same as aiming sleeve just cheaper and whole body
should I stop aim training if the pink side of my wrist huts and feels a bit strained
Yeah always listen to ur body
Take a break for a day and see how it feels
You might be overtraining and/or something's wrong with ur technique
its better to stop and rest a day
since thats when all ur work from aim training shows
imo nah, just caffeine
restraint. also youre tensing your hand without knowing it ik cause i did that a lot
your arm too
yea I think holding down the mouse button for long periods of time is causing pain in my arm cause it seems to only really happen when I do tracking or switching scenarios
its not frfrfom holding it down its from tensing your muscles
Hello, does anyone know what I can do about my 2 week long right wrist pain?
First day my wrist was very painful, then when I tried to pull my hand and bend it down, I was getting a small pop & pain every time I do that.
I still have some wrist pain.
Mostly when I bend my wrist down,
also still getting that pop everytime I pull and bend down my wrist but with some tingling..
Can anyone tell me what I can do about it?
that sounds like "Go to a doctor" ngl
@noble trellis
sucks
oof
you think?
maybe
I mean
I have slight scoliosis because of it
but come on
we gotta grind the scores
šŗ
@noble trellis how can I improve it without getting a new table?
idk
prob worth getting new table
maybe you can get monitor more in the corner on an arm so you still got room for mousepad, and get smaller keyboard so you can balance it out better
how can i know if i damaged this in some way? im not sure if its that exact part of my shoulder but something around there hurts, the pain is quite dull but its there
Hey I recommend checking out our tools for fixing this! https://1-hp.org/vt
my left hand is fucked up idk how to diagnose it
i have tremors all the time, the ligaments in my fingers slide off my knuckles when i make a fist, and if i grip something to hard i can feel the ligaments almost tearing
dont know if theyāre called ligaments or tendons
Update for you. I got my glasses and the difference is unbelievable. I no longer get eye strain with computer use, my anxiety in brightly lit places is pretty much gone and my eyes no longer jump when I'm trying to look at something directly
Idk how good of a measure it is but I haven't aim trained in months and I've beat most of my records in the past 2 days
If you think you have BVD please get tested.
help i think i have problems with my wrist cuz when i try to flick on the right my wrist kinda make some pop noise and its kinda stuck there for a sec

why is my ulnar nerve always tingling? almost like i hit it but not as severe
aim training just fucks my arm up so bad, one day its my shoulder hurting, the next its my bicep, another day its my elbow and some days its my hand
Hey guys I posted this before but didn't get any replies so I'd figured id ask again. Recently my middle finger on my right hand has started having semi frequent spasms. Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome? At first I thought it was because I was dehydrated, but I drink around 120 fl oz of water every day if not more. It's not painful or anything but could it be cause for concern? I'll probably bring it up during my next doctor visit as well but any advice is appreciated.
sounds like neck problem
how come?
affects all those things, ulnar problems are frequently neck related
could it be my neck posture?
it could very well be, yes
hm, i never considered my neck to be a problem. but whenever im playing i usually have it bent foward to be closer to my screen
How to fix wrist clicking
Ive had it all year but cant take enough time to let me wrist heal properly, cant figure out how to remedy it while having to use it everyday
went to the docter about my arm and they said theres no problem??? tf are they talking about because i aim train for 10 minutes and my whole arm is in agony
couldnt find anything online about why its hurting
different chair and desk heights dont help
different postures dont help
not tensing doesnt help
pain killers dont help
and i havent even been using my arm all that much since all ive been doing is an hour of aim training and just watching shows the whole day
so ive been letting it rest
aim training is literally the worst thing that has ever happened to me
but ima push through the pain and injury and keep goingšŖ
keep going where
seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding or might be an attempt at humor? which one
no like
take a break maybe
what did you do at the doctors
well i went there and told the doctor about how when i use my mouse for a short period of time my whole arm starts hurting. He said take some painkillers and take a 1 week break to see if its better and if its not then to come back
my pinky and tendon have been hurting a lot lately when aim training and playing
Well did you take the one week break
He told you to take a one week break bro
Listen to your dr
Use an xbox controller and just play casual games if u need to still have fun
You're likely developing either cubital tunnel or thoracic outlet syndrome. If you are interested in talking to us let us know https://1-hp.org/vt
Hey
I believe Iāve got RSI in my wrist
Could someone help me with any remedies
Itās near the side of my pinky
Itās a numbing feeling
and someoneās a dull pain
I did not touch my pc for 5 days and now I have pain on my right elbow, it makes my flicking a bit painful
a
hey this sounds like it could be cubital tunnel which is an entrapment of the ulnar nerve by the wrist flexor muscles. We have a troubleshooter that can give you a plan with the right exercises, we also have injury coaching available if you need to talk to somebody. https://1-hp.org/vt/
I've always had poor handwriting in both of my hands despite writing with only my right hand for 16 years, I write somewhat worse with my left hand, but I rarely attempt to write with it. Most actions other than writing I use my left hand to do, I'm also left eye dominant. Does this mean I was born left hand dominant and should start practicing writing/aiming with my left hand? Also don't know if this affects anything but I can type faster and make less mistakes when typing with my left hand aswell as just move my left hand fingers faster.
I Preciate the conclusion but I donāt have money
Is there anything I can do just at home for free
These guides are free!
thank you so MUCH
What would help cubital tunnel
Wrist flexor exercises and ulnar nerve glides
?
im feeling numbness across their upto my pinky
and sometimes in my elbow
That's the ulnar nerve

So I've noticed that sometimes when doing tracking scenarios when my elbow is by the side of my body during it my shoulder gets squeaky like a ungreased door I am not sure if its because of the weird position my elbow was in or if its my shoulder that has the issue? Anyone else experienced this?
did u ever fix it
itās usually doms if ur lifting weights but im having the same issue from aim training lmao
raw no flavour protein powder with cold water
I get it after training arms, for me it goes away after a while. Took few days once but was gone in 2 days the second time. By personal experience it should go away, might come back after another training though. Is it happening even if you do the opposite of extending?
So I literally cannot even get Iron (unranked) in PreciseOrb or really competently do any smooth/precise tracking.
I've been playing FPS on PC (high sens) for years and years, but I'm in my 30s now and had a good 10+ yr gap. I'm wondering if I'm like, mentally or physically handicapped... Or if Precise/Smooth Tracking is commonly a big barrier for people starting aim training. I am moving from high sens gaming for the first time (10-15cm/360 to 30cm/360).
I'm bronze or better in all the other categories. I only play Fortnite lately, started a week or two ago, and am just getting out of Gold rank, so I don't feel mentally handicapped there... But that's Fortnite š
Yes I'm serious about it being a legitimate mental/physical issue. Should I record how I use the mouse/mousepad? Or do I need to keep grinding? It's only been a week but it's concerning to see I'm in the bottom 10% when I wouldn't call myself "inexperienced". Literally, I'm freaked out.
how do i stop my eyes from getting dry and vision getting blurry when trying to play aim trainers
It's mostly gone now but it hurt a bit when did the opposite
30cm/360 is high sens still. But again. It is you. You are the one. You need to practice, you need to bring the intensity. '
Hey guys, is 3-4 hrs of sleepy daily bad?
I'll try a lower sens and see if that helps resolve the extremity of the problem so I can feel more sane... I have a hard time picking the mouse up and resetting, and the mousepad is only 30cm width at the moment so I was trying to max out at that length. That's also what I've been gaming at, so trying to match that. Maybe those aren't reasonable excuses š
30cm/360 is not that low
depend on your activity
very bad
i've been having some feeling of tiredness in my bicep while aimtraining after ~15 minutes. It seems like i'm using my upper arm for some reason. Is there any way to not do this š¤£
or is this a#advice thing?
does anyone get blurry vison after aim training for a while
go outside
its not that visible on aimlabs where shaking a bit off a moving target isnt a big deal
but when im on valorant it is ten fold and I clearly miss everything
i think i might be something to do with my arm tension
hello guys this is my first time here got recommended by a friend, i've been playing fps for 10 years now and i've been playing val since ep 3,for the past 3-4 months my right arm or better to say my right forearm has been hurting like a bitch even after like 5-10 mintues of playing locking my arm in place for awhile, i've tried stretching and such but it hasn't helped my situation i came here hoping anyone has an answer i've been wanting to get back onto val but this pain is unbearable if you need any more info please feel free to ask.
Hello, i have really strange pain on my elbow
like tiny bit above of my elbow
and its been 1 week since its like this, is it normal?
The right side of my neck always starts hurting when im playing and idk how to fix it i tried to fix my posture but it doesnt help i figured it has something to do with how i move my mouse idk
your chair might be low causing you to lift your shoulder while you play
so like put a pillow on it or something
but then you might get back pain
i just feel the burn
doubt its an actual physical or age issue unless you have some kind of injury
probably just need to play more and get better technique
doubt age makes a meaningful difference unless your bones are creaking
Yo, Is there any alternatives for coca cola? I crave it almost everyday and its been actually affecting me lol, I know carbonated water exists but I feel like they're not sweet enough for me, I also am limiting myself to coca cola with ~750ML a week. Thanks in advance <3
water
water with sugar
does anyone else experience derealisation when playing Valorant?
How much do you play
8 matches a day on avg XDD
Seems not AS much but depends on your age too I guess, I think I felt it with less in-game time sometimes
is it normal to have a sore wrist after using claw on a mouse that doesnt support claw
like i use claw and the only contact point is on the end of the mouse and my fingertips
What yall do with Crunchy ass wrist
I definitely notice
Wrist function
Decrease
wym
Crunchy wrist
I don't have soo much tightness anymore
Crunch when I move it basically
When I do wrist circle
I am guessing I should just do them
More but idk
Okay I found 3 new stretches
And strengthening things
I have like almost 10 min routine myself lol
Rn mines at 6 min
It only crunch when I move it into flexion
1hp has great stretches on their youtube and you can go to their website to run the tool
Hello, ive been grinding aim training and valorant for a lot of hours currently and im getting strains in my neck and shoulder/upper back from my mouse hand. Ive been trying to find whats the cause of the issue, trying to control tension and other things, i think the issue might be that my desk is a bit too high, making me tense my neck and shoulders to compensate.
can someone help me or give me advice ?
It depends on what kind of motion, I can make my wrist crunch at any given time if I do X and it's normal
Yeah I do a lot of the stretches
Oh I have crunch when I put it into flexion
I think that's fine?
I pop my wrist that way, by pushing it further into almost if not past 90 degree angle
Check out rice bucket hand exercises and try those. You could also do some Guasha massage using a spoon to work out any connective tissue adhesions that may be present in your carpals. Crunching usually isn't a huge issue as long as it isn't painful, but it is a sign that there's something not quite right with either your connective tissue or your muscle fiber firing order. Strengthening and stretching is a fine approach, massage or PT could help if you are really worried about it or if it's painful.
Well I worked with a pt and yeah it helped but yeah idk it kind of at a stop. My wrists feel stiff. I do stretches of all kind everyday and strengthen my wrists also. I did add like 2 things more to the routine but yeah my wrists feel kind of stuff basically. I will try the guasha massage though.
Anyone else having same pain?
Tag me please
hey can you describe the pain? is it like a soreness or a crunchy tendon pain, where exactly is it?
cause i used to have a tendon pain in my elbow for a while which is why i had to take a break from aim training but it could be something else
Hey guys if I buy one of the Forearm/Wrist Stretches from 1 HP would it 100% fix my overtensing? And Smoothness problems?
I think sugary coffees are the alternatives to the coke
And btw my right side of the neck hurts what should i do?
diet coke
anyone know anything about this, i've heard it might be carpal tunnel and if it is can anyone let me know anything to ease the pain or a fix completely
it is exactly on my elbow
like this
i never had this pain on my elbow in my normal life before it only happened after aim trainning long time
so thats why its hard for me to explain
i would suggest taking a few days off and then trying to do some excersises for tennis elbow
it sounds like you have an inflamed tendon which is causeing your nerve to rub in the elbow causing pain
the excersises will help nerve and tendon mobility and possibly help
you can look them up on youtube
also look at the way you use your arm to aim, if your relying mainly on your elbow to aim then your desk is probably to high and needs to be lowered or you need a higher chair. it should be a combined effort from your elbow and shoulder
im new to aim training and my arm gets fatigued quickly, specifically my shoulder. i play high sens (15-30cm), i play with only my elbow off the table with my wrist floating, and my ergonomics are fine. what could be the possible reason behind my shoulder fatiguing quickly?
will alphabrain make me better at aiming
do you need to lift your arm for you elbow to be off the table and have your wrist floating or is it because your chair is taller than your desk so it naturally lies there
cause if your lifting your elbow thats why your shoulder is getting tired
i would suggest anchoring your elbow on the desk lightly and using either a sleeve or shirt to allow you arm to glide across the desk and mouse pad. either that or bring your chair up to a place where you dont' have to raise your elbow to get the playing possition you prefer
i would suggest trying to anchor your elbow at least though because it can help you gain more mouse control and consistent aim then floating but if it works for you thats fin
it likely wouldn't have any major effect given that it's main effect is delayed recall and executive functioning, so unless your having problems remembering or finding motivation to do your aim training it probably won't help you that much
if you want to supplement i would suggest eating a better diet and including things like blueberries, healthy fats, fish and either coffee or green tea if your trying to really min max
oh also i have found that taking around 150 mg of magnesium before bed can help with your aim because it makes you calmer and helps you sleep better which are both significant drivers of good aim
nah my arm isnt floating, my wrist sometimes floats but its on my mousepad when im doing stat scenarios. could it be because my arms arent at a 90 degree angle?
Probably not those are kind of my blanket suggestions but I would have to look into it more if it's not that
any advice on a cramping pinky finger? feels like it happens so quickly, i use a relaxed claw grip
pain in bottom half of my palm, suggestions on what i should do? bad mouse? take a break? exercises?
could it be rsi related?
or wrist related?
Does anybody have a Wrist Forearm Stretching I can do?

is this worth it to do it?
i press a lot of buttons with my thumb while gaming- i use the side of my thumb, and it causes me pain sometimes especially if i'm getting tense or something and pressing keys hard
this is more of an ergonomics question ig but i'd appreciate some suggestions for alternative or improved methods to press keys
I have a strong shaking in my wrist, when I tilt it to the right or left there is a strong crunching sound, can regular exercises from 1HP relieve my wrist from crunching and shaking?
Have u tried stretching
yes, but the crunch in my wrist still remains
Is it painful
The shaking part is very worrisome, the crunch sound is meh. You should try going to the doc
Have ur wrist ct scanned or sth
i found out one bone part of my left wrist is larger, a deformity, which explained why it hurt for me to do push ups without paralettes
no, but if i move my wrist quickly it crunches
if it's slower there's shaking
If it hurts then thats a sign to go get a check up
If it doesnt still go have a checkup since that may be a disease or a deformity/deformation
How do i stop getting fatigued so fast
like after 4 scenarios i have to take a lil break
quit gaming for 1 week
yoo I've been feeling some pain in my shoulder while grinding especially in static. was wondering if it could be a grip or posture type thing?
Same issue here, I use a Corsair mm250 as a mouse pad and a katar pro wireless
repeated activity will lead to this.
Rolling of the shoulders before during and after sessions may help with this.
if you feel pain while AT, take a break. let arm/shoulders rest, repeated actions will lead to strain of overuse muscles.
this break may consist of one day to a few days.
just because you want to train, best to avoid doing it under pain of any kind
thanks dawg, just wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong with my posture or anything š¤
anyone have a good wrist splint for sleeping in? (cts)
no
its hard to say if it even helps as a nootropic and overall its extremely upcharged for its actual ingredients
Question whats a decent protein powder for people with siliac/diabetes/lactose free, been super hard to find all 3 lmao. Looking to get back into working out. Should i just make my own combination so i can buy in bulk?
If you play speed or aimspeed scenarios relaxed instead of tensioned you can still be fast enough in static and last longer before giving break
feeling some pain in my elbow during aiming sessions now
how do i use less tension, i think recently ive had problems with how tight i hold my mouse
too many health questions, not enough health experts
ive found it easiest to focus on relaxing and if you feel any tension to reset your hand back to relaxed and keep doing that, it took me about 2 weeks to get it to where it was consistently relaxed
mindset is also that your mouse is light it is not going anywhere if you relax a little
Eat more protein
No powder required
i already do just dont wanna eat beans all the time and meat is hella expensive
powder is a lot more convenient and i get more bang for buck
as well
You can eat tuna,yoghurt,eggs
Cheaper compared to things like steak
But chicken is usually cheap aswell depending on where you source it
If money is a problem that's unfortunate
Cottage cheese is great too
I used to mix a can of tuna with a 500g of cottage cheese
Chilli oil gives it good flavour
Mix in garlic powder, spring onion whatever you want
800cal 100 grams of protein
For most people that's half their needed intake or over
oh bet?
And it'll cost you about 8-10$
great idea actually
i have a ton of tuna and cottage cheese so thats nice
ššš
Eggs are amazing too
Cheap and good for you
If you have a woolies
oh i love eggs bro ill destory a carton of eggs
Wait until they are close to closing, they knock the prices of the whole chickens from 10$ to like 5$ a chicken
its been getting so expensive lately tho XD
Unlimited glitch no lie
Buy like 5
Strip them all into containers
Rice and veggies
Meal prep for a week for like 30$
what is the NW equivalent of a woolies?
Ahh I wouldn't know my brother sorry
Does your stores sell whole chickens?
Like cooked
Yoghurt is good too
High protein
oh wait its just safeway lmao
but the mark everything up at safeway where i live
stuff is so expensive now
15 bucks for a chicken breast hahaha
ill prob go to costco
That's what I mean I can get a whole chicken for like 7$
i can buy bulk
yeah sadly they dont knock prices down over here
That'll be high in protein and the lowest price wise
but i appreciate the ideas i will use the hell outta them
Good luck with it
Ok
Thanks
what would be the best distance for a montior to be at
nose length
im not xqc š
just look out of the window as often as possible. And go outside.
alrighty
Put your arm straight out in front of you have the monitor touch your fingertips
its touching my middle finger tip is that good?
Yup! š
will my eyes get cooked if my monitor is 10cm away from me?
Yeah they actually catch fire š„
I use 12cm/360
And when I go to lower sensitivites like 27cm

My arm gets tired easily

what can help me be more motivated to play kovaaks
your main goal bro

Yo Iām having wrist pain, and it feels like my hand isnāt as fast in movements
Any suggestions how I can fix
Also pain in my shoulder, and where my tricep connects to my elbow lol
Get some rest
It happeneds to me alot best of you is just try to get more rest
Or maybe try some excercise
is it fair to assume that food/drink products with shorter shelf lives are healthier than the alternative?
or does shelf life not have to do with freshness of product or ingredients used
daily mobility/stretching exercises. takes 5-10 mins of ur day and will help with a lot even outside of physical pain/discomfort
Do you have any routines/videos you recommend?
If you have access to a doctor and your pain is constant, it might be worth getting checked out. I had a similar issue which ended up being thoracic outlet syndrome. I put up with it for 6 years before I got checked out. 1.5 months of physical therapy and I was back to normal, and even better
Yeah I have access to doctor and phyiscal therapy. Do you just describe the pain to your doctor like that? I fear that if I go to the doctor they are just going to tell me to quit gaming
There's always a chance your doctor says something like that, but you can always find another doctor that understands your love for gaming too. They have tests they can do to determine what it is. Not a lot of doctors test for TOS, but it could be something else altogether anyway. My doctor kept saying tendonitis but eventually sent me to a specialistwhen nothing worked, and they were the ones who diagnosed me with TOS. If you have good rapport with your primary, try and talk to them and mention your concerns.
I mean you could lie and say something like it hurts when you do office tasks
will do, thanks!
hi guys, wanted to ask if numbness in palm after a session of aiming (about 1 hour) is ok?
i don't feel any pain in particular, it's just numbnesss in ring finger and little one
this does not sound goodšÆā¼ļø idk whatās wrong thoš„
Im pretty sure numbness from gaming is normally carpal tunnel
Im prerty sure carpal tunnel is what causes numbness bro š
ulnar nerve, not carpal tunnel
often an issue with neck posture, can be elbow or something else too
Numbness is a sign of nerve compression. Likely from tight and irritated tendons
My wrist has been hurting and i havent been playing kovaaks in like 6 days, its been like hurting 10 days i think, its like when i rotate my right hand to the right it hurts, and when i stretch my hand towards my body idk what i should do
Hey man it's likely tendon irritation you should start here
Currently, I am aware that my shoulder needs to shrug up in order for my forearm to be at the correct angle to aim, causing shoulder fatigue. Issue is, I've already increased my chair height to a point where my thighs are against the bottom of my desk (I cannot sit any higher, and I obviously cannot make the desktop any thinner)
what should I do?
I'm not a specialist, but I love study about the way to sit, grip the mouse and more.
If you can't sit higher and move desk more lower, I suggest making more large space between both arm or sitting farther away.
some towel rolls under your elbow can help boost the height of your desk!
thanks
exercise question:
I do regular walks/cycling/the occasional run. Lately I've upped the frequency a little bit in an effort to get more cardio in. I've noticed over the last month or two that the back of my legs (right behind the knee) feels tight pretty regularly when my legs are extended. Not painful, not cramping, just...."tight". If I stretch the leg(s) while standing, it sometimes gets to the point of feeling on the edge of a cramp, and I back off. But it's never actually painful.
I'm late 20's/early 30's age range, decent diet but not incredible, ~185lbs.
Is this cause for concern, and if not, is stretching likely to help or hurt?
This isnt helpful but when i ran i had the exact same feeling in the bottom of my foot from my big toe towards my heel, i think its tightness in that area from lack of use but im not 100% sure but i had the exact same thing just in my foot when i did running
back of knee irritation can be a lot of diff things. pain in the back of the knee calls for seeing a doctor asap. but in ur case if itās just tightness i think youāre ok to stretch it out daily and lower your frequency/intensity of workout. if the tightness persists w no pain, id also see a doc
have you hurt your knee or back in the past; or had this type of issue before?
nah, never any real injuries, just the occasional scrape as a kid lol
more and more as i play especially tracking task during the tasks as i move my mouse the inside of my fingers start like making a rubbing feeling? like i cant explain it its like the inside is rubbing against something at it starts just tweaking and messing with me especially with micro percise movements idk what to do or how to fix it
I dont know if this fits in here but i have a question according my "eyes" ig, so ive been born with pretty bad eyesight so ive been wearing glasses since i was like 3. Because of that i used to have my monitor pretty close cause it helped me aim but im scared now it just makes stuff worse for me.
Hey are there any ways to counter the shakiness effect of caffeine? i love the energy boost part but the shakiness ruins everything
Don't use caffeine for energy, and if you feel like you need energy to "get started" or to function normally, talk to a doctor
Can I ask u to view this Mr doctor sir
I need help
L-Theanine, 2:1 ratio ex: 200mg L-Theanine if you're taking 100mg caffeine. But yes ofc also consider not using it, it's only a marginal benefit if you're taking it regularly and it has tradeoffs - and it's not a replacement for sleep ect..
Any gym coach I can DM ?
probably not here tho, they're coaches for gaming related injuries or pain i think but i could be wrong
Curling my pinky further than this makes the base of it hurt. Do you think this mouth is inappropriate for me?
Idk, no mouse has felt comfortable
Do I have abnormally large hands ?
I feel like I want a wide mouse
But Idk they come much wider than this
I have never had a mouse small enough to fingertip without being too tall
do you guys think that would help with the soreness?
please let me know if there is a more approproriate channel to ask these questions in
anyone know how to get rid of eye strain without talking to a doctor? it's gotten to the point were i cant even focus on a target, ive turned my lights on in my room dimly, turned monitor brightness down and turned on night light filter, anything else i can do?
a) talk to a doctor
b) get eye glasses
C) look out of windows into as much distance as you can as often as possible
D) go outside regularly
get more sleep, take more and longer breaks, hydrate better
This is me personally but when i get eye strain i cant focus and everything blurs together and i zone out when i do long gaming sessions. i know everybody has a different body you need to think of your eyes as a muscle and when you are focusing for long periods of time your muscles get fatigued and that's when the blurry and hard to concentrate part comes in. this is coming from my experience but taking breaks and just resting helps alot, getting off the game and doing something else has helped me alot from seeing blurry targets from my eye strain. I'm no doctor just speaking from my experience but if you are concerned please seek medical help and not someone on discord.
When im playing kovaaks my mouse hand often hurts like higher shoulder areas not wrist maybe it could be cause when im aim trainining my arm is usually really tensed and maybe thats the reason also i Think im a much worse aimer because i tense that much. Anyone had the same or knows how to fix that
Is it normal for the pinky side of my wrist and also the inside of my forearm to be painful when I rotate my arm after I played an fps game for like 7 hours straight?
I was trying to hit immortal today
Didnāt hit it but Iām 31 rr up
Drank redbull for the first time just to try to make it happen
Just wanted to pop in and bring up a couple things my brother. Firstly, take breaks, and I'm not just talking about like 15 minutes to use the restroom or anything. I'm talking about longer breaks away from the screen so that you can not only help your eyes and body move around but also for your mental while playing. It's common to get brain fog and have worse decision making while playing longer sessions, even if you don't realize it. Secondly, about your wrist pain it could be signs of repetitive stress injury which come from the overuse of certain joints and ligaments without giving them proper time to rest. It is important that they be utilized for other tasks, the breaks can help with this. For example you can take a break to cook a proper meal or playing with a pet will allow your arms to be used for something other than using a keyboard and mouse, letting your joints move in different ways and lessening buildup of stress in the same areas. Lastly, using caffeine to fuel a long session may seem like a good idea but try not to make it a habit. Not only can you develop an addiction if you continue to use it, but it also will make your aim more jittery and less consistent along with worsening your decision making because of the extra stimulation you are adding. Overall I wish you the best of luck in your grind for immortal, I'm on the same grind right now, but make sure you take time for your body to recover throughout sessions as it will improve your overall mental fortitude, decision making, aim, and health going forward. Getting immortal doesn't matter if you have to deal with wrist and arm issues later in life.
6 hours of sleeping is playable or nah?
aim for 9hours at least if under 18, 8 if over 18
routine
play less games and sleep more, your games will feel better
sleep is crucial for learning, recovery and growth
always prioritize sleep over everything else
i do best with at least 9 hours personally, 8 or under and I'll feel generally shitty
Quality of sleep is important as well
if u find difficult to stay asleep or to fall asleep, it might be worth it to talk to a nurse/doctor about it
Hi everyone. Has anyone dealt with elbow/forearm/hand pain in aiming arm? I'm thinking there's ulnar nerve involvement in my case and honestly getting pretty scared reading about cubital tunnel syndrome and all these anecdotes from people who have had to completely stop playing games
I've got a doctor's appt in an hour and I have a neck MRI on Wednesday for some neck pain issues. Just wanted to also check and see if anyone maybe had some optimism for me
I'd honestly be pretty devastated if I had to give up gaming for good, as pathetic as that may sound
it's not a guaranteed death sentence for gaming, but you will have to put in the work to fix your posture, ergonomics, and habits, and you will need to let your body heal and work to slowly strengthen. it can be a pretty big blow to your confidence in your own body and your enjoyment of the hobby at first but i'm confident you can regain what you lost in time.
I bounced back from a diagnosis of full body chronic neuropathy. I had pain problems that caused muscle tightness and neck issues contributing to even more neuropathy symptoms especially in my arms and hands that were so bad i couldnt sleep or even wear shirts with sleeves. I put in the work and it took me a while but now I can enjoy gaming at a high levels again. ā¤ļø
have patience, there's a lot of trial and error to figure out what will work and not work for you. thankfully there are a lot of good resources (ie; 1hp) that can help you on your recovery. you got this ā¤ļø

@jaunty ermine thank you so much for this. I'm really glad to hear you're doing better, and that gives me a lot of hope. I'm certainly no stranger to chronic pain. I've had fibromyalgia since I was a teenager as well as some other really fun injuries and conditions. And when I really think about it, other than the fibromyalgia in general I have definitely overcome things that I was worried would last forever. It just gets really upsetting and mentally taxing when it's one problem after another for years on end, ya know what I mean?
I'm extremely willing to put in any work that I need to do. Gaming is a huge part of my life and I hope it always will be, but my improving these things in general will help me in all aspects of life. I'm so ready
ive been dealing with this for a while now, whenever i walk in a straight line it feels like my right leg is standing tall and i have to like compensate for the left one, my right ankle is also swollen along with sciatica. Im not really sure who to go to about this and im just worried.

@shrewd acorn I'd go to your primary care doctor first. It's possible that one of your legs is actually slightly shorter than the other and that can cause imbalances. I have one leg barely longer than the other and at 32 years old just found out I even have some minor scoliosis from it
Also, for what it's worth, I was dealing with BAD sciatica earlier this year from lower back issues. It's resolved now. Its a very scary feeling and I know how uncomfortable it can be, but it's very common and treatable in the vast majority of cases
bit of a long shot but does anyone here know about the long term effects of nicotine on cognitive/motor function?
we are cooked in the short however after quitting it mostly goes back to normal from my knowledge however nicotine is going to be a lot more alluring to us for the dopamine. Its mostly a dopamine thing as you aren't cooking your braincells by starving them of oxygen like whippets or anything
im not a doctor though, I'm just an 18 year old whos been trying to quit nic for 2 years
cooked short term from withdrawal i assume you mean? i have no intention of quitting for now honestly
i just read that low dosage of nicotine has a neuroprotective effect and high dosage is neurotoxic. i wont pretend to understand the science behind it but the paper doesnt state what constitutes low and high dosage.. guess ill wing it for now
yea im assuming high is like over 50 mg an hour
bit of a long shot but does anyone here know about the long term effects of nicotine on cognitive/motor function?
@wild citrus this is clearly anecdotal and not scientific, but I was a pack a day smoker for 11 years. After I quit, i felt less cognitive fog and definitely felt more in control of my body, if that makes any sense
Hello, how are you? I hope very well and improving those PR. I am planning to make a custom desk and I wanted to know if there is a recommended and ergonomic height. If you could give me recommendations or have any documents that could help me, I am more than grateful!
Hey guys, i need some advice
I tried to be as consistent as possible, but i just can't do it unless ill leave gaming completly, since idk what to do anymore
Tried to have consistent sleep, but i just can't balance it with gaming when most of my energy for that i have at quite late evening
Tired after 8 hours of work, so afternoon is absolutely not a go for me
school aswell, too tired mentaly after it
Helpš I have no idea how to balance it anymore
Hey give this a watch! https://youtu.be/7l51a4b8Olc?feature=shared

Hey 1HP could shaking when making precise movements be from strain or is this just lack of technique it does not happen all the time.
Also I noticed my wrist clicks
hey thanks! This definitely helps me stay calm about it. It's easy to go down google rabbit holes and find support groups and subreddits of worst case scenarios ya know?
Oh I know that's why I made the video haha
Poor coordination is a symptom of tendon irritation so is clicking!
very much appreciate it!
hopefully my neck MRI today will reveal something as well that can be worked on
Interesting so how would I improve this bare in mind I swam competitively for 20 years
An exercise 2 hours per day with a mix of calisthenics, cardio, and weight lifting
Endurance training with a metronome!
Hello, how are you? I hope very well and improving those PR. I am planning to make a custom desk and I wanted to know if there is a recommended and ergonomic height. If you could give me recommendations or have any documents that could help me, I am more than grateful!
yo real quick question, when I control recoil I jitter my arm. It started out voluntarily when I was playing overwatch because it was the easiest way for me to track with soldier 76; I havent played overwatch in 3 years and now I still shake to control recoil on valorant. Is it just like a weird mental thing that I put into my brain over years of games or is it some bullshit with my muscles that has me cooked?
yo i get too hot while playing lmao, i have quite low cm/360 could that be the reason?
and this only happens when doing my routine i dont even sweat like at all
hey so, i havent went yet but i did an at home test via youtube. basically it was to have ur feet out a bit and squat but try and stay straight, and i see that i turn into the left when i try to squat down, pevlic rotation. and the ankle being swollen i believe is related to me not treating my iselins diesease
5th metatarsal on each foot and its causing me to become flat footed
sending my support! These things suck and can be really demoralizing. But i've got confidence you can put in the work to make things more comfortable for yourself. You got this, friend
Hey! So my MRI came back clean on my neck, which is good! I have an EMG coming up earlym next month as well just to see what's up with my ulnar nerve. If i could ask, is there a tendon or muscle or anything that can hurt all the way along the ulnar path with or without nerve involvement? I do get some nerve issues, but the overwhelming issue I seem to face is pain. deep, throbbing, aching pain that can get really bad. There are some twinges of parasthesia here and there, but it's not like my pinky and ringfinger are going full numb or tingling that much. My arm just really hurts along the ulnar nerve with only slight classical nerve symptoms here and there
I go back to my physical therapist tomorrow as well and will bring all of this up. Just curious if this might be more tendons than nerves
hey thanks man i really appreciate it i just woke up and im freeezing my ass off
my poor poor blood flow š
doi gentle stretches help getting your blood flowing? they do for me sometimes!
ahhh I see. I was a pack a day smoker for 11 years. Let me tell you friend, It gets a LOT better when you quit
LOOOL
yea i just recently quit the green stuff
wasnt medical
but you get the point
For sure! And like i'm not gonna sit here and shame anyone for smoking. I get it. I've been there. But Ill always put it out there that you really do just feel so much better once you're finally off of that stuff
stuff that you didn't even really realize was wrong with your body clears up. It's really weird
But i'm 2 years out and while I still struggle with a lot of body stuff, I'm so much better in a lot of ways than when I was smoking. blood flow is absolutely better
And when you feel ready to try and quit, there's help and support!
And the last thing i'll say: there's newer research that if you quit before the age of 35, after 5 years it's like you never smoked. You absolutely can reverse a lot of the damage, especially if you quit younger
so you got this, bud. you've got a lot of things to try yet
the hardest part isn't the quitting for me it's only the withdrawals and that's because of how nauseous i get (i have a phobia of throwing up, so any nausea or pain in the abdomen region makes me think im gonna get sick and then i have a panic attack
exactly what's been happening with my green stuff withdrawals
haven't had an appetite yet
I can relate to that. I HATE throwing up. Not fully phobic for me, but It's incredibly unpleasant and scary.
emetephobia is such a bitch
I hear that. My sister has it bad. We were at a concert once and I went too hard and gave myself a migraine and was vomiting. She had to buy me a separate hotel room for the night because even the knowledge that I was throwing up bothered her so bad
It sucked haha. Was a Nine Inch Nails show though so worth it
LOOOL
i love rock
im glad you brought that up
i listen to like i prevail, g & r, marilyn manson, falling in reverse, ffdp, linkin park, motley crue, slipknot
kinda a mix of metal
yeah your flexor carpi ulnaris muscle / tendon is likey tight and irritated which is probably sometimes compressing that ulnar nerve
yeah your flexor carpi ulnaris muscle / tendon is likey tight and irritated which is probably sometimes compressing that ulnar nerve
@thorn matrix that sure seems likely to me! Thanks a lot. Appreciate you guys for helping me not lose hope
@frosty steeple that thing i was telling you about my pelvic rotation and numbness of the ankle. well it has now turned into im worried
like very worried
im panicking actually
as we speak
Hello everyone, My hand have been acting weird lately, I have tingling sensation in the hand, index, thumb, middle fingers, arm and rarely shoulder. I have been grinding aim trainers for the past month but I don't know if its fatigue, CTS, RSI or just cause I've been playing too much. Its been making me uncomfortable for the past 5 days now and I don't know what should I do. Any tips or help would be appreciated. @me Please.
I need a bot that just posts this video anytime somebody mentions any of those words lol. Your tendons are most likely irritated which compresses the nerve (in your case the median nerve) at the carpal tunnl. These are carpal tunnel symptoms but very likely not carpal tunnel ligament thickening. You need to be doing wrist endurance exercises for your tendons. Watch this video where I explain exactly how this works. https://youtu.be/7l51a4b8Olc?feature=shared

LMAO, Should I do these even in my condition that am in right now? or should I wait for a few more days ?
You should start building endurance asap, rest only stress shields muscles and the atrophy more
Thank you so much doc ā¤ļø
@thorn matrix you think you could possibly help me very quick
poossibly save me from running to the ER rn
What's up?
I'm not at my PC but can text
its alright
im probably overthinking this whole thing im not sure
i have a vibratining sensation on the tops of my feet, i am not diabetic and the vibrations / numbness get more intense if i stand straight and bend over to touch my toes.
only have been becoming more worried once i urinated and it was amber, i really hope its not kidney disease
and its just seperate issues
or dehyrdation as to why i was saying i might be overthinking idk
Hey to be clear I'm not in a position here to tell you not to go to the ER if you have concerns like that you should definitely be evaluated in person. Even if you call the ambulance and they just screen you at your house. There is no charge if you don't accept the ride to the hospital and they can't force you to go. That being said it could be rhabdomyolysis which can be fatal. I don't know your medical history so when it doubt get checked out. It could also be those other things you mentioned but amber colored urine is a red flag @shrewd acorn
well thank you for responding, im gonna get some liquid IV, i havent been eating the best as in (one pack of ramen noodles (uncooked) a day accompanied by coke zero's. could easily just be electrolyte imbalance + b12 deficeincy
if im still not peeing alot by the end of the day im gonna go in to the ER
again my official reccomendation is to get checked asap
thank you!
i need help with this , low fat milk or full fat milk? for cutting
Hey i keep getting neck pain whenever i specifically play shooter games and no matter how hard i try to correct my posture it just keeps happening
My monitor is in the right height but i guess im bending my neck anyways for some reason
The pain is quite low on the neck, idk if anyone has any idea on how to prevent this
face pulls, T,Y,Is with a band or a cable machine
does posture really help in how you aim? i have been noticing ive been slumping alot when i try to aim train
should i try to fix my posture?
When i play or aim train i feel some discomfort and sometimes a little pain should i keep aim training alongside building endurance
if its mild i think u should be fine, when you train you use parts of your muscles that aren't normally worked which allows you to aim better so when you use smth u dont u will feel discomfort. It's the same for osu when training speed. you need fast twitch fibers to develop so you push your limits until those pushed limits are now your base
Also can building endurance fix my osu mania injury too just curious
depends on the injury, is it forearm related? and have you given it time to heal completely?
my finger hurts on the wrist sometimes a tingly feeling havent playing been playing the game for like 2-3 years but in that 2-3 years i have tried to return back to the game atleast 5-7 times
thats probably a technique issue when you play mania so probably not but only one way to see

I'm currently doing this pain stretching routine from 1HP and the second strecht basically leaves my whole hand stiffend and it feels hard to open my hand after. After doing all of it my smoothness seems to just have dissapeared. Am I doing it wrong or did I just find a big bad spot
This video provides you with a stretching routine to perform on a regular basis to address pain specific to the region shown (pinky side of the wrist). You will learn 3 key exercises to help address stiffness, manage pain and facilitate healing. This, in combination with the strength routine, will help you manage and prevent this common pain pat...
@thorn matrix hey there. Would it be okay if I asked you a couple ergonomics questions? I think I've identified where my elbow/forearm pain is coming from but not sure how to adjust my setup to compensate
So i have a problem every time i try to force tracking in aim trainers i sort of get a nerve shot and it feels like my aiming arm just starts twitching it kinda feels like a burning hot needle is going what i feel like is my nerve if you want to visualise it dont think of it as something intense but more so as some slight twitching and pain
If anyone can help me fix this issue it would be highly appreciated it feels like torture every time i need to do any tracking in the ramp warm up my VT minigodcs PS.this happens after about 15-25 seconds of tracking and yes i have tried to change techniques and they didnt really help
@thorn matrix hey i just wanted to clarify to you, i didnt end up going to the ER. i drank my liquid iv and ive been urinating alot more normal and the color is pallish yellow as it should be, the sensations in my feet also have somewhat subsided it mightve just been from being malnourished
Are you in our discord? We have an ergonomics question channel
i'm not! How can I join?
Link in my profile bio
hey doc how many hours of training would be too much?
once my wrist pain goes away what should i do to make sure wrist pain never comes back? i played kovaaks for like 2.5 hours one time so i jus7t wont do that again but i like aim training so i kind of want to play it alot without getting wrist painm
Not a doctor but I recommend warming up, you can find gamer warm ups on YouTube, as well as strengthening exercises for gamers. Both of the videos I use are from the āEsports Healthcareā channel.
Additionally I do various gripped pull ups for back, shoulder, and upper arm health
wdym gripped? like neutral grip and normal grip?
Technically I guess the two big differences are pulls up and chin ups, and recently Iāve upgraded my set up to do hammer grip pull ups
Which is where your palms face each other
Just for the hell of it I decided to try a gaming sleeve to see if it would help my elbow/forearm pain when resting my arm on my desk. So far, it actually seems like it's helping a lot. Managed to play 6 rounds of COD with about 20% of the discomfort I've been having
I think the gentle compression is helping? Not totally sure
Although now I want a glass pad to go with it lol
The sleeves help a lot in general, reducing friction
and especially if you sweat, they reduce a lot of discomfort
You'd have to identify the nerve question. Could be ulnar, could be carpal, could be a whole host of different things, depending on where you get this feeling.
soooo that kind of went away after some days of aim training my tracking supper weird tho it was ulnar i think
You wanna go and see a neurologist and orthopedician then
because that shit can come back
and you really don't want that, I speak from experience xD
i had that every time i tried to do diciplained tracking
if i was tracking heads in game subconsciously there was no problem
probably tensing too much in training, i find that ingame i'm getting more endorphins or whatever that helps keep me more relaxed and able to play longer
and you really don't want that, I speak from experience xD
@clever granite did you have ulnar nerve issues? I'm seeing my ortho tomorrow because I'm thinking that's what's up with my arm
Yes, I have permanent Ulnar Nerve damage
easiest way of finding out whether you have it is having someone else touch both sides of your ring or little finger at the same time and check if one side feels less responsive
@frosty steeple There is also an exercise you can do for pain/discomfort relief
i just joined this server mostly to ask this question but i will definitely stick around for other things
anyways
i seem to be very prone to RSI
my wrist sometimes gives me issues, my forearm gives me issues, and now my elbow is starting to give me issues
and im wondering if theres something i do wrong cause like- I try to position myself very specifically to alleviate discomfort with my forearm and wrist but i dont know how to help with my elbow
i place about 80% of my forearm on my desk, usually its just my elbow hanging off, i keep a good back posture which keeps my elbow at around 90 degrees
but there are still some issues
Do exercises. Consult a neurologist and orthopedician, get braces and exercises. Take lots of breaks.
Warm-Ups, Cooldowns, nerve glides, etc.
ive been wearing a compression glove which helps a lot
and with the glove + focusing on my posture its really not that bad in those areas anymore
but yeah
ill try to figure out what i can do for my elbow
I'd still consult a doctor. I chose not to when I was 24 and played through the pain
Which is why I have permanent nerve damage
its all like- the back of my elbow and it kinda feels like it goes down my forearm a bit
yeah my goal is to not have nerve damage lol
if you scroll up, try the exercises in the image I posted
see if that relieves some of the pain/discomfort
those are for ulnar nerve stuff
it feels better than it did, definitely
Do consult your general physician and tell him you think you might have some issues with your Ulnar nerve @celest river See what they suggest. They should be able to do some simple tests to check whether the issue is serious
alright sounds good
Yes, I have permanent Ulnar Nerve damage
@clever granite sorry to hear! How are you doing these days? Still able to play?
I'm definitely taking a break until we figure out what exactly is going on
Yes just tons of exercises, braces and a lot more breaks
And taking a break is a good idea! Hope you can figure it out š
Glad to hear it! Yeah I'm hoping so too. We will see!
Is underperforming dramatically during the early hours of the day when waking up normal
For me itās because of ADHD, or bad quality of sleep, both of which can be treated.
As for you, Iām not sure. Iād start at looking at your sleep and if you are sleeping enough and the quality of your sleep is good (go to sleep early enough, sleep without disturbances, etc)
The biggest impact to reduce strain on wrist/arm/shoulder I've ever found is stretching before playing
if I do wrist exercises before I start, I can go for hours without any negative effect but if I don't do them, I get strain
Yeah, I searched up some symptoms of ADHD and i figured I probably have it
Maybe I should take meds
You first need to get diagnosed
And taking a break is a good idea! Hope you can figure it out š
@clever granite just saw my ortho and she's optimistic! She says I'm doing everything right getting this looked at early and since it's mostly pain right now with little numbness, prognosis is really good i can just beat it. So we'll see what my EMG says on Thursday and go from there :)
Super glad to hear it!
does anyone have a good routine for keeping a good posture subconsciously because i really want better posture but if i try constantly thinking about it in game i play worse
For back posture the trick that always helps me is to try to keep your knees below your hips
You'll naturally want to sit with a straight back
Could using 86cm/360 have lasting effects for my arm? I dont feel strain while using it, but Id just like input if there's any possibility of injury that someone incur from it
Shouldn't be really, especially if that's tacFPS
The pinky/ulnar side of my wrist has been hurting a bit recently and im not sure what to do lol
I started wearing a brace when im not playing, But its still just kind of painful and uncomfortable when i play, Not sure if i sprained it or if its from playing. Something similar happened a few months go but it was more of a sharp pain then. I took a break and wore a brace then and it disappeared. I started playing alot more the last month and the pain came back much more mild and uncomfortable compared to last time

How do eyesight exercises help improve aim? How can they also help in the health aspect of things? from sites like Blinkcamp and eyetrainer,gg
honestly i just try to do eye stretches (close your eyes and look as far as you can to the corner of your eyes) and it does more than enough for me to help me feel ready to track targets
Does any ADHD have a 0 effect experience on meds? Got diagnosed and prescribed ritalin, tried both IR and ER up to 40mg felt absolutely nothing, literally nothing, no side effects, no positive nothing, its like I didnt even take anything. First 3 days got sleepy and drowsy like Ive never before, but that doesnt happen anymore, even after 1 month of not taking any dosage. Researched a lot and didnt find anything on this, not even other peoples experience and no money for doctor appointment again. Am I on the 0.1% of fucked up people that wont be helped by meds? Adderall is not allowed here
I've got a few questions regarding mousegrip. is this the right channel for it?
Tbh i dont know much about this, but i know when i tried concerta and i think ritalin but im not 100% sure, it had 0 effect, i felt a little on the first day but the doctor said anyone would because it was a stimulant or smth, and i know a family member had a similar experience where the medicine i tried didnt help them either
Yeah idk, even first day I didnt feel it, that's what bothers me too

@twilit anchor I used to respond well to adderall, but anymore it doesn't do anything except make me a little jittery. I'm trying Vyvanse right now and it's.. maybe kinda better? But I doubt I'd notice if I missed a dose tbh
It's frustrating because I really don't want to go back on Concerta or Ritalin. I didn't like those.
yeah honestly I think I will just accept that I'll have to live with this shit symptons, I'm managing to do great at life but its so much more effort than a "normal" person would have to put, really exhausting but whatever I guess
Hi guys my upper arm has been aching starting from last night, for context I'm staying at a hotel rn and when I play I go to the tablet but it's too low so I go to bed and usually lay down with a pillow below my chest and after my gaming session I realized that my arm has been aching alot when I raise it now (the aching is like right below my shoulder) it's not unbearable but it kinda hurts are there any tips for this to go away or atleast go away temporarily?
It sounds like you might have strained a muscle or put some stress on your shoulder from that position. Here are some tips to help alleviate the discomfort:

How do you know you have to put more effort into stuff than ānormal peopleā this is just my opinion, so im looking for a different perspective, but i havent experienced what other people experience without ADD so i dont actually know how much effort they have to put into life, so i like āconvincedā myself that i am exactly the same as everyone else, or have advantages they dont have becuase of ADD
hello my table is higher than the chair i sit on the table is wooden and i cant really afford a new chair so any tips for posture setting
I have to consciously breathe while playing smooth tracking and im not even joking š actually a somewhat longtime issue that can be become distracting
It's the same feeling as when you're doing a heavy lift and it's uncomfortable to breathe in and out while in the concentric motion
Except the scenario is longer than a rep in the gym and im not sure how I can mentally overcome it without compromising my aim
compromise your aim in the short term and develop better breathing technique, or learn how to hold your breath longer
yea tbh it doesnt actually become an issue for my aim. its more like a.. I'd rather breathe than not breathe thing
so yea makes sense
deliberate practice until it becomes instinct, it is what it is
i got the same problem XD
its actually only smoothness scens atm
I purposefully let myself hold my breath and went from like #200 to #17 on a scen
first try after trying quite a few times
so idk
maybe it's the secret method š
i was skeptical about the finger/hands stretches at first but after doing them consistently i can feel a major difference in my gameplay
pinky (mouse hand) starts to hurt after long grind sessions. I use palm grip. Is this a sign that my pinky isn't getting enough grip and is overcompensating?
I just observe everyone else around me being able to do easy, boring things they dont want to do, for me is studying most part of the time, I mean theres an important exam that you need to study for, and study A LOT, a "normal" person, even tho they dont want nor like to study for that, is going to study and study many many hours for that stupid thing because they have to, they need, for me is more like I'm UNABLE to do this, my brain is like not capable of fucking sit there and study, I will leave it to the last day, tho I will be suffering thinking about not being capable of doing the boring not interesting task that needs to be done until its finally done, and I wont even study many many hours like them, I will just do like bare minimum. Taking 2h to do a 30 minutes task, that its easy and I know it is, because im fucking distracting all the time while doing it, is exhausting as hell and a waste of time, a normal person would just sit focus and finish it fast/normal time
being consistent on something for long periods of time takes a lot of energy too if I'm not interested on it or I lose interest in the middle of it, its like my brain would rather rot than do the thing
That's life.
I have narcolepsy. (I got it at 13.5 years, I grew up my early years "normal")
I slept every single lesson in school for about 4 years. Every single one. Then I got my diagnosis done after years of tests and bs. My diagnosis period was relatively fast compared to most that get narcolepsy.
I need 4 times the standard upper dose for ADHD (I get prescribed 126 mg daily dose of concerta) to simply force my body to physically stay awake. Then staying focused is another thing in itself. Depending on the day. Impossible -> doable. I get about 7-9 hours a day of time where I can get somewhat effective use out of my medication. The rest of the time is dead time where I am just waiting for it to end so I can go to sleep and be allowed to take medication again.
This means that if I work a 8 hour work day I sit and wait for the rest of the time until I get to go to sleep because that is pretty much what I'm capable of most days after 8 hours of my medication working.
I have to self regulate certain things so I don't attempt them. Like driving. I only allow myself to drive within a 5 hour window during the optimal peak of my medication, no longer than 60 min drives at max at once. When I apply for work it's quite guaranteed they pick someone else before me since even though you aren't allowed to discriminate someone for having a diagnosis, you are allowed to choose who you hire.
I applied for 90 jobs this summer. A person I know with less previous experiences, less overall age, less motivation to work. Only willing to work at picky times. I am willing to take any work times assuming they are 8 hours or less in one shift, if they simply allow me to work since I couldn't get a job for a long time. He applied for 30 out of those 90. On a lot of them I applied first. He applied after due to being lazy. He got interviews on jobs where I get a response the day after applying saying they have gone ahead with someone else. Then he gets an interview 2-7 days after.
TL;DR
My time per day which I can make some use of is reduced from what "normal people" would have 13-16 hours of to 7-9 at best. I can't drive for longer then total of 1-2 hours during a 5 hour window per day with max 60 min at once.
TL;DR Nr 2
Life ain't fair. Accept it, learn to live with it. I had to. I hope that you will be able to as wellā¤ļø
Also. Narcolepsy of my type (1) comes with this lovely thing called cataplexy:
In short. If I let myself feel strong emotion such as anger, happiness, sad, etc. I collapse. All my my muscles in my knees, legs, neck, jaw, some in the back, arms, etc. Relax 100% when I trigger strong emotions. So I had to learn how to stay ice cold emotionless to be able to avoid dangerous and hurtful situations where I collapse which I can easily seriously hurt myself. Pretty much anywhere when it happens.
I sleep easier and better at like 2pm then I can at 2am. Im in college right now and over summer I was consistently going to sleep around 3 or 4 am but now that I am in school ive been trying to go to sleep earlier. The main problem is that when I get in bed, even with my phone in a different room/on my desk, all my lights off, and blackout curtains up i deadass cant fall asleep at night, yet when I lay down in the day, even if I slept in the afternoon the day before, I can fall alseep in like 10 minutes and sleep for hours, anyone have any tips on sleeping at night?
are you doing enough stuff in the day to be tired, and have you tried reading for a while before going to sleep?
during the days I usually hit the gym or ride my bicycle around 10-15 miles along with going to school/work
On weekends that distance on the bike usually goes up around the 20-25 mile range
usually its 2-3 bike rides and 4 gym sessions a week
in terms of reading, I'm dyslexic so that shit mad hard
Good, sounds like you will get tired of it even faster in that case right?
The goal was to sleep not to actually get anywhere with the reading, just attempting to in order to become sleepy
I caused a boxer fracture in my right pinky about a year ago now, after it being immobile for a few months to try and straighten it out. I got back into aim training.
Since then, Iāve struggled severely with being able to aim training/game for longer periods without pain in my right pinky. Are there any stretches or exercises I could try that might strengthen the finger/decrease pain over extended use?
Do actual strength exercise for your pinky. Make sure you use VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY light weight to begin with. Stretches help but it is more for relieving the pain rather than it is to fight it from happening to begin with. Make sure to not push it until pain. Begin with building the strength first, don't overwork it.
how can i improve my hand health. my whole arm kinda went numb yesterday and i took a break that day of aim training, today its similar but not as bad. any way i can improve my arm health so i avoid having such setbacks
i have been consistent in my training for more then a month now
by my whole arm i mean hand fingers arm went numb
felt powerless
how far up did it go? remember that nerve injuries flow downstream
till bicep
thats where i felt it atleast
has it got anything to do with the way i sit
havent had this issue before
to be fair
so probably a nerve impingement in the neck/shoulder area, likely posture related and weak muscles in neck/back/shoulders
probablyā¢ļø, not a doctor
it hit me yesterday
i played alot and didnt skip vdim close to at all
commited full way
any way to improve health>
?
longer and more frequent rests, try to use better posture when you do play, try to not tense as much, make a routine to gently mobilize and strengthen the area
so no pushups and stuff?
im open to training my muscles if it gives me more resistance to such setbacks
maybe something with diet aswell?
i bet 1hp has some good free guides to posture and strengthening, i'd check them out

Okay I will try š«”
Got any good book recs?
just started aim training and i noticed when i do scenarios with a wide range of motion my whole arm starts twitching and my crosshair shakes a lot, is this normal for beginners?
you might be tensing up too much let your muscles go
stop tensing
Anyone here try therapy for adhd if so howād it go? thinking about checking it out along with my meds i kind of have like decision paralysis with my meds where i feel like i can do a lot more things but bc of that i canāt pick one thing to do
honestly i think a basic schedule or routine would help with that but i thought it might be useful to check out therapy for those kinds of situations and was wondering if anyone has gone through that and for their experience on it
i didn't have any luck with any of it, if anyone has some success stories i'd love to hear what worked for them
Went back to full sized shell after fingertip shells for years and my wrist is killing me
So odd. You'd think the full sized shell would be more supportive
alternatively you might be aiming more with the wrist now and less with your fingers, putting more strain on it
was it CBT?
is my grip pincer claw? only fingertip besides the base of my thumb
I tried therapy for a while but ended up self meddicating with caffine and nicotine. I'm on adderall now but I still have a nic addiction so feel free to try it as therapy helped a bit but most of what helped me was stimulants so take that how you will.
I couldnāt find anything online but does anyone else have sort of hardening skin on their finger tips from using their mouse? Itās hard to explain something similar to callus. Iāve been playing for a long time and only recently about 3 months ago did this start happening where my pinky gets callus and it kinda hurts? Or is somewhat bothering. Sometimes I peel it off and continue until I forget about it and it hardens again, but it still hurts. Was just wondering if anyone has a similar situation
Play less. That's the solution.
Had a similar experience but without it hurting. But with hardening skin that is. The solution is, play less. Take care of your skin. But ultimately, play less. Quite a lot less. Also grip your mouse less tightly helps if you tend to tense up. The same goes for pressing keys. Press them less hard.
I have got this problem from both my keyboard and from playing guitar. Same solution, do it less.
Anyone here struggled with shoulder and upper back pain/discomfort? Was using a computer for long less painful afterwards?
In the long run, I mean
better posture, stretches, strengthen, better sleep, and game with more breaks šŖ
thx
Idk when I wiff repeatedly at a static dot I tense my arm and squint my eyes.lmao what am I doing
Thank you, I was a bit scared to hear that answer but Iāll do well to listen
Ofc, I am not a medical expert. If you have trouble with it, seek a doctor. Have them look at it. It could just be similar symptoms but something else. In the end of the day. I am not a doctor, simply someone random online.
is it recommended to meditate wile sitting or can u lay down
when I am gaming and I aim with wrist it feels like when i track on the right side with me wrist my wrist feels jittery or teleporting how can I fix this
do you not use your arm to aim?
Yes I do
How do I fix my thumb from doing this when aiming
Forcibly relax it, do gripping exercises (deadhangs, all the wrist curls) and massage your hand and your arm. This comes from a guitar player and a gym enjoyer
after using the gyroball ive had for awhile but stopped using i did 1 min clockwise and 1 min counter clockwise and for some reason now that im starting my warmup the tips of my fingers feel numb and are really cold idk what i did
my pinky feels actually feels hot and numb idk what i did
use your left hand bozo
probably gripped it too hard so circulation was cut off to your pinky
are you what love with a part of the hand that touches and rubs is a problem and like the set?
i have that this part which rubs is I see in tracking its nerve me
Not really a health issue just a question that has more to do with health than anything else. Is getting high and aim training harming my aim? Like once or twice a week after I get off valorant I'll smoke a little bit and hop on kovaaks because I wanna aim. Is this gonna negativley impact my overall aim when im not high?
I smoke dispensary flower and not carts so any concerns about fake weed fucking my brain up are out of the picture
anyone know if sleeping 4x a day will help me learn faster or just 1 good sleep, heard u only have so many productive hours of learning before u need sleep to have them again
just sleep when you're tired, dont force yourself to sleep more than you need. As someone who struggles with depression and oversleeping as a result of that, oversleeping is just as bad or even worse than undersleeping. Just sleep when youre tired and trying to force refresh your brain won't work as much as you think
okay
Yo coming from experience,
Smoking and training can help a lot with aim but at the same time damage it. If you're chill and just not like actually trying your ass off while high it can help you keep a chill mentality overall, but if you smoke a lot and practise a lot while high it WILL harm your ability to aim sober.
Obviously weed can slow reactions down, but for some reason it can also boost your focus to see mistakes and errors that you haven't thought about as an example from me, I learned proper technigue for deadlifting when I smoked a ''microdose'' before I went to the gym.
Essentially, weed can boost your mind to muscle connection because of it making you more aware of muscle stimulae. This can be harmful as it slows down cognition somewhat aswell and that being a hinderance for aiming which is mostly hand-to-eye coordination.
This is atleast for me, but I still wouldnt recommend being high while practising anything.
P.S. Felt like adding a disclaimer, this inst backed by science or any studies this just comes from experience as a cannabis-connoisseur and avid gym enjoyer and a nolife.
It does not, you don't go through the correct sleep stages in the same way as you would sleeping once. I have narcolepsy. For years before I got my meds I would sleep anything from 5 times to 10+ times a day. Trust me, it's just bad, not good at all.
Both medical research and published medical articles and my personal experience all aligns with this.
It will not help, main reason is because it won't let you go through the sleep stages needed as efficiently due to skewing the stages durations.
I wouldnāt say it harms your aim, but I would say itās probably not as efficient as sober training. Same thing as if you were trying to study while high, itās not recommended lol.
Iād say as long as your not getting like super smacked and itās not effecting you life in any other way, like distracting you from getting priorities done, anxiety, effecting sleep. Then I wouldnāt really worry about the impact
got it, I do all my regular aim training before I get high and I just do high aiming for fun. I was just curious to see if it would fuck up my sober aim
^
how do i fix shrugging shoulders while aiming.
it adds tension and is bad for consistency because its never at the same spot
if i lift my chair too far up i cant touch my feet on the ground
š
can the weigth of the body be mainly pressed onto the chair, and less on the feet
is that a valid option
i guess thats cuz of the desk height
I feel my hand have stiff.
When bend fingers and move wrist, my hand joints move like sticky.
Could you tell me how to fix this?
I can't move mouse smoothly and tension control
wrist tight and tingling stretches no help
Hi !! does anyone have a tip to reduce back/shoulder pain from aiming ?

From what I see in #resources I have to get my whole life in order in order to actually excel at aiming?
How Much Do I Play The Benchmarks Daily Or Once Or Twice A Week?
Because I see No improvement when I play it daily
if this is a consistent problem you might consider seeing a doctor. bending your fingers should never be a problem or cause pain.
yes and no. you can be a pos and a god tier aimer at the same time. but āgetting your life in orderā will help you improve and increase potential in every area of your life. in game or irl.
depends on your goal. i donāt think iāve ever seen someone recommend daily benchmarking.
if youāre not seeing improvement tho and youāre playing dailyā¦the plateau is not caused by playtime. itās caused by things like improper technique or even playing too much.
Out of pure interest, if there's anyone who tried to take caffeine and l-theanine here? If yes, what was your daily intake?
I've been trying both but there's no effect, no difference at all even if with increased dosage
caffeine and l-theanine together can work if you take significant amounts of caffeine compared to l-theanine (2:1) but a lot of stuff can interfere with how it effects you. Even stuff like ADHD or hydration levels can just make the l-theanine not work dont trust reddit those guys placebo themselves a lot
I have ADHD and both do absolutely nothing to me taken separately and together
I kinda have high tolerance against alcohol, tobacco and meds (extremely hard to get really drunk; was smoking for half a year without any addiction, dropped immediately when decided to stop, and stuff like anesthesia usually require 2 doses and morphine wears off extremely fast).
Read a lil that this could be due to fast metabolism. Guess this can also be the reason for caffeine and l-theanine not doing anything (don't have ADHD)
is it possible that caffeine made my aim better earlier? i had coffee about an hour or two prior to aim training. I usually don't play under the effects of caffine so I'm not sure if there was any difference. I felt that i was laser focused and my reaction times were quicker. I ended up breaking high scores and reached gold in the novice playlist. can caffeine really have that much of a positive impact?
Iām currently adjusting my setup, chair and desk height but I canāt find an comfortable position everything feels decent but my shoulder and forearm starts to hurt or have tension after one or two matches any tips to fix it to be able to play comfortably?
we have many people taking caffeine pills or drinking coffee before matches, it does work for many (that was the primary reason I myself decided to try them). But even though it can improve reaction times and your overall reactivity, I don't think it affects your arm control in any way. If you can't do the same results now, you're probably not even trying to focus
quite frequently in pubs I'm playing without any interest, and while it seems like i'm really trying to make an effort to focus, it doesn't work. You may have the same situation, as a solution for this I usually find a motivation in the activity first, then focus kinda comes along with the motivation
hows your neck and posture? if you're looking down too much or leaning forward it can do a number on your comfort while gaming and lead to pain like you describe
I donāt look down and my posture is good just my shoulders dosent feel good when I play
i'd take a closer look at it and see if there's ways you can optimize and improve it, if you're hurting while playing then something isn't right
Coffee is a stimulant, so therefore it will increase cognitive effort.

cold or hot shower for better aim etc?

Forearm has been fatiguing on aim training sessions, any idea what it could be?
how do i go about dealing with finger fatigue? i ftip, and sometimes after playing for 2-3 hrs in game my fingers are tired and i cant aim for the rest of the day. working on my tension in kovaaks but is there anything else i can do to minimise it?
you'll slowly build up endurance with practice unless the fatigue is related to an injury from overuse. give yourself some good rest, practice, and strengthen
y'all I fractured my finger in a cycling accident like 3 months ago and even though it is fully healed is it normal to still get pain near the knuckle that fractured? its the farthest forward knuckle on my right middle finger and it still hurts when I bend it. I got x-rays on it when i got my splint off and it shows its fully healed but it still hurts when I bend it. Will this go away over time and if so should I change my mouse grip to get pressure off of the joint?
Do you mean like when you take caffeine it literally just feels like drinking something without caffeine?
chat how do i stop getting frustrated about getting stressed that i cant do a certain aim task quick or cant kill someone
i know its a part of the process but i cant stop it
How can I maintain wrist health while using my hands, wrists, and fingers for computer work, instruments, sports, and kovaaks + FPS games
breaks
Yeah I do take frequent breaks
as long as youre taking breaks as needed, your body will never be under the strain it would need to get things like carpal tunnel
like for example the old gd streamer RIOT had to quit because he would stream every day all day on geometry dash clicking nonstop
I do experience strain every so often and I'll finish my game and stop uysing my wrist for at least 10-15 mins
ill also take time during that to just walk around + stare at something in the distance
idk if you know the 20 20 20 rule
for your eyes
ill do multi hour fps sessions so its helpful for me
i do and i dont follow it im shaping my body to be the ultimate fps gaming machine
making sure my eyes only focus on things that are <5 feet away

are you serious? im not saying thats a bad thing
no LMAO

i got worried bro
very intereseting reasoning
alwayus look at screen to condition yourself for fights
my arm muscles are so fine tuned for gaming that i have a separate bmi for my legs
Does water actually do anything or is it a ploy made by big water ? Been drinking lots for years and it doesnt do anything special
Wth
I have limited mobility in my right hand, likely due to neglect while aim training over the past two years and a recent wrist injury. Iām wondering how I can regain my mobility and release most of the tension in my wrist. Although I no longer feel tingling in my wrist or forearm, my aiming ability is still somewhat restricted. I canāt aim or flick as hard as I used to, and sometimes it feels as though my wrist is made out of glass which iām scared iāll break which mentally affects my gameplay
Iāve been aiming training for 2 hours a day and I think I have eye strain because I canāt focus anymore from blurry vision, has anybody had this problem and any tips
Caffeine definitely helps me focus a little bit more, its not more so that it feels like im literally drinking water but in essence caffeine just simply doesn't give me the energy or wakefulness most people get from it
I feel like my reaction time and concentration improve a little when I take caffeine, but my static aim becomes very shaky and difficult to aim
Would it make a difference if I took L-theanine at the same time?
hey guys, are you guys getting upper trap knots? I'm not sure if it's a posture thing, but my knot keeps coming back.

is it normal for middle finger to hurt after aiming for a bit
no
pain is never a normal thing
yo, any sleep tips ? i feel like i physically cannot sleep more than 6 hours, it's really painful in the daily life
I had that same problem and sleeping on my back helped a lot, mouth tape also sort of helps
tumeric
worked wonders for me
My wrist/hand shakes uncontrollably when I try to precise aim on something or tracking a moving a target , I find myself resorting to flicks to do every thing if i'm tracking something I'll just mini flick infront of the target otherwise my hand will just shake. any physical/aim exercises that might help me fix the issue ?
get that checked out with a doctor thats def not normal, you could also have way too much tension in your arm
That can be u overtensing
My wrist is feels more quickly painful when is cold, how can fix? Especially since I have window open for fresh air
more rest, stretching, and strengthening will go a long way. improving circulation can help keep it warmer and feeling a bit better too
I give it quite a lot of rest from aim training, but I also do juggling and other unspoken wrist things. I tried taking a 2 week break completely from using right hand for computer/juggling (used only lefthand except for typing), but it still feels wrong.
but idk maybe it needs a year rest
become left hand aimer in a year challenge
rest alone isn't gonna fix it, you need to combine good ergo and playing habits + strengthening + stretches
Yeah ig this server also doesnt know
does anyone know why my hand starts hurting from clicking too much in aim trainers
to the point that i cant click anymore and end up not being able to aim train at all
idk the best way to explain this but when im playing at like noon when it starts to get darker and i try playing some tracking task i always get messed up because after staring at the dot bor a sec there starts to be like a very faded red line under the dot like i tried to draw here its like kinda "astigmatism-y" i guess is the best way to describe it and i just wanna know if theres anything i can do to fix it
dude, its 4 am right, im hungry and if i eat, ill feel bloated and all weird, and am craving like chips / snacks / popcorn etc, what should i do for my performance?
@open ivy
Y'all what are your healthy meal suggestions? I have been dieting terrible and want to start working on eating a healthy breakfast without too many calories that's fast enough for a college student.
Opinions will vary wildly on diets but in my experience avoid as much sugar and carbohydrates as you can. I lean towards a more carnivore diet with unprocessed meat being superior to processed meat. Beef, fish and chicken are good, pork is ok. Fat is healthier source of energy than sugar.
Grains, fruit, wheat and oats and even most vegetables are not very healthy in my opinion despite being culturally accepted as healthy for a long time. I know this is a somewhat controversial opinion but diet is always a somewhat controversial subject.
As for dairy I love cheese, milk and yogurt and I wouldn't want to give that up as some hardcore carnivore people do. Eggs seem to be very healthy too. Hopefully some more knowledgeable folks can weigh in.
Can you still do a modified (jade) fundamentals with ECU Tenosynovitis
(Pinky sided wrist tendinitis)
Guys I was using a lamzu thorn (optical) but the width was small, so I switched to a bigger mouse delux m900 (huano)
I never thought this could make a difference, I can't do much tracking scenarios, the back of palm below my index finger constantly been hurting last two days. But the mouse feels very crisp for valorant (no unintentional early panick click) and for static clicking scenarios...
sweaty hands whats the reason ?
i like to drink coffee because it makes me more focused while playing but also makes my aim jittery, is their anything else i could use that makes me more focused but doesnt cause jitters?

Could just be ur natural system

hi
Getting some weird pain/ache in my middle trap/shoulder area I think itās from aiming any tips other than the obvious rest, guessing itās from playing very low sens on valorant(85cm)
Height of your chair and/or desk. Also play less in combination with fixing these 2 main issues. It will take time for it to go away. Mine took months with less playtime. And it wasn't that severe.
but i wanna playyy grrrr
idk if this is some health problems with my right arm but everytime i'm trying to aim slower no an enemie had my hand gets strength and i can't move anymore
any tips?
hi vlor
hello, any guide to differentiate simple hand tiredness and "stop doing it" exhaustion? it's a bit vague feelings compared to training/running
Hello, i got pain in my ring finger and little finger when I perform the prayer stretch (wrist stretch). People like you have already had Guyon syndrome or tendinitis which causes this? I have just spent a week of very intensive training, I certainly overused it. Apart from rest, are there things to do that you could recommend?
that's gonna be your ulnar nerve, pretty often neck/shoulder posture related though it can be elbow or wrist
some general strengthening and mobility + being mindful of your posture and not being too tense when playing can help prevent more injury
no particular exercices in this case ? My wrist is often against my table and i know for sure thats one of my problem. But i feel like loosing control/stability on moovements of my mouse when i put my wrist straight not on the table. Do someone already have some answers about this by experiences ?
And yes i read it on 1hp , ulnar can be hurt by elbow or wrist, and rarely shoulders. its connected to the spine to the neck. Everythings clear to me about this.
I will try to search information about general strnghtening . thanks for your advices
That's called abstinence. You have to be off from nicotine for long enough for it to go away fully before you'll be back to normal

Baikal Skullcap really helps me with thinking rationally in game, and caffeine with getting in flow state. A well researched supplement to look into is Lion's Mane, as it can help you with learning at a faster rate

This channel is usually used for physical health but I wanna ask about mental health too, I'm having this issue where I'm getting frustrated that I can't improve my benchmark scores
Cause like- I placed like bronze when I first started
And I'm relatively close to gold complete
But it feels like I haven't improved in like 2 weeks despite doing the aim training
And I haven't been feeling any changes or improvements in games either
So I don't really know how to be improving again
But yeah, mental is a little weird so I'm mostly looking for some advice on mindset and stuff like that

It's great that you're wanting to work out and improve your health. One of the most useful things to start with when trying to lose weight would be walking. It doesn't generate the same cravings to eat up on energy burned as something like running or weights would do.
The most important part with losing weight is that you eat less then your body burns on a daily basis. Doesn't have to be any extremes. But try to reduce the Meals you eat by 5-10% in size for a couple weeks and check your weight in the mornings to see if you need to reduce how much you eat further or not.
Ofc, workout is great, whatever you feel like doing is better then doing nothing at all. I'd start with a simple 30 min walk each day.
Find some distance which is 15 min away, walk there and back every day.
