I mean, I'm not saying go talk to random people, but trained professionals
I think you can be sure you have a problem without it being diagnosed. The problem is, you can't get any help for it if you don't get diagnosed.
sure isnt the right word
you can think that you have a problem but you cant be sure
especially with something like clinical depression which is so fuzzy, vague and at the same time nuanced and complicated
I seen a video on why water is "essential" for good aim, but I dont drink water regularly and I am still Immortal 3 in Val and perform fairly well. How important actually is it?
try to go a few days without it
I hardly drink it. I may have a glass of it every week. I always have like Sports drink n shit with me
Is it normal to switch to mouth breathing when focusing in game?
That contains water im pretty sure
You don’t need to drink “water” itself
You can drink anything containing water
But it’ll be less healthy
its just good for brain function and body function
Is it normal to have pain in your pinky finger. when training?
Nope, pain is definitely not normal anywhere when performing aim training. May be a sign of some repetitive strain (underpreparation injury)
what should i do? I'm trying pinky stretch's
I can only give general recommendations since there are alot of potential reasons why you might have some pain along a pinky side of your hands (tendon, nerve, joint, referred nerve, etc.)
Generally pinky sided issues we see from weakness of the muscles of the hand. Performing some strengthening exercises for the pinky / ring finger (using a finger strengthener) will be a good start.
Something like that, focusing on pressing with the last three fingers or pinky / ring. Performing up to 3x12-15 2x/day.
On top of that I would evaluate your posture to see if there may be contributions of suboptimal positions of the shoulder leading to earlier fatigue in the wrist & hand -> compensations at the hand
Do you have wrist pain? CLICK HERE: https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain
Since 2015 I have worked in esports and have treated 1000+ Gaming injuries. A majority of the injuries are at the wrist / hand (~60%) Most of the time it comes from three key things
1 SETUP: Posture & ergonomics can affect the physical stress on the wrist / hand. Most commo...
This is a new general routine i've made that doies have some basic strengthening of the hand in there
YOu can also use a cup, pillow, towel to create some resistance to squeeze for your hand
Thanks
I know this isn't physical health focused and more on my mental, but the situation ship has blocked me on everything, I feel relieved realising she was a red flag. But I shall hopefully find the ability to be at peace on my own and enjoy my life for the present rather than dwell on the future and past
more aim motivation
very true big brain plays
Is this grip unhealty? I have most palm contanct on the right side and sometimes my pinky starts hurting
i tried tilting my hand to the left so the left side of my palm also makes contact with the mousepad but that feels kind of unnatural. I think i could get used to it though
and more time, my gf also broke up with me today
Is there any pro therapist, i can talk with ? I have a big problem that ruin my life
Your pinky hurting could be due to how the shape forces it to sit. Your hand resting more on the right side of your palm is completely normal.
Thats how my pinky sits, it might be too straight or even bent inwards
Try curling it a bit. OP1 is quite a slim mouse.
i also have that on other mice aswell, sora v2, gpx and np-01s aswell
i tried curling it a bit and that feels a lot better for now, thanks :)
guys i injured my keyboard hand again
Have a feeling it's because I have my keyboard too slanted making my wrist bend which is causing the pain
Does anybody know why my mouse arm flares out ? It feels odd and hurts my shoulder and just feels so unnatural . Like my arm I use for my mouse flares out to the right like far right inside of being straight in the middle if that makes sense
Idk if this is the place to ask but I was wondering why after taking a break the bottom of my wrist to my forearm aches after and sometimes while playing. I was thinking early symptoms of carpal tunnel but I dont feel any sharp pains, numbness, or pins and needles in my hands, just a dull ache in my forearm. Any ideas?
If it's to do with depression or emotion, I think I could help. Clearly I'm not a certified therapist but I've made it through tons of bad things in my life so I believe I could possibly help.
Of course though if you'd rather talk to a certified professional then that's totally cool too
It is about a type of anxiety cause of gaming. I won't go in depth here
@lean sigil look up zach and karen, theyre esports performance coaches/therapists.
im pretty sure they do coaching idk of they're closed rn
theyve worked with a buncha t1 teams before
do you have any twitter or somthing for me ?
@lean sigil https://twitter.com/KARINTZARFATY
Thank you
I joined there dc server and it is insane there is so many ressources, i need watch all of them
the discord is kinda dead rn, there used to be daily posts but i thikn theyre busy with coaching a team rn
Oh how can i contact them ?
Twitter dm ?
idk if they respond to dms rn
who has info on autism spectrum disorder, can't you progress because of it
I've been having issues with strain in my wrist-to-forearm section of my arm and in general issues with my arms locking/ getting stiff after about 15 runs. I have been stretching for the last 2 weeks? and I haven't seen improvement so far. Do I just need to stick with it or is there anything else I can do? I also am a programmer and have been training to get to 125 wpm.
My right shoulder has been feeling a little funny and I'm worried it's biceps tendonitis, does anyone here have any recommendations on prevention/treatment?
at the PTs in here, legit question. im a medical student, i was wondering what you guys wish u saw more in physicians for treating the typical gamer musculoskeletal complaints
excuse the horrible imagery - but when im claw gripping my ring and pinky finger are always pushed together and just uncomfortable, however it feels impossible to actually grip it with them separately like the 2nd picture, if i hold my mouse with my left hand its normal claw but right its so strange 0-0
you can put your ring finger higher up
that might help
Would canting my m&kb like split keyboard people sometimes do be a good idea?
is there anyway to reduce performance anxiety, i currently play overwatch and when i cant really hit my shots that i should probably hit it just gets me down real bad. I've been trying to say that its fine but it sometimes get to me especially if we lost the match overall. Is there something i can do or practice to remove this bad mental?
wrist feels strained and sort of burns on the left and its shaky while tracking
Have less volume on the pc + use mobility routines from 1hp youtube/ site
my right hand(mainly fingers) have pain since 1 month ago
Is this reason just over working or I have to rest my hands?
How can I rest my hand well?
This can be related to your shoulder, neck and upper back posture and strength. As well as overuse + that together. Have less volume on the pc, fix posture if needed, use mobility routine from 1hp. Do that for a while and see if u feel relief/improvement
I also recommend increasing sens a tiny bit on val so u can be less explosive for a while
Ok thanks
wow, working out for only a couple days has given me pretty decent results, i feel like i dont struggle with focusing as much, faster, and smoother too
ive been trying to do a playlist but it makes my eyes hurt, is it just that i dont blink enough?
a
Ive been having a pretty messed up sleeping schedule for a while wake up "daytime" sleep "morning" could this be holding me back?
Heck yea brotha
U’re just new to it, after some days u will adjust. Do some breaks in between and keep urself hydrated
its not optimal, but wont kill u
Is muscle imbalance in the arms really that bad? People notice that my right arm is bigger than my left. But it’s not that big of a difference. And I keep getting told to train my left arm.
I have an autism spectrum disorder, am I no longer progressing? But i never elvove in game
Took a long break (since beginning of October I am so washed now) from playing FPS games because of a constant wrist pain and tingle feeling in my fingers. Decided I wanted to grind again. Started practicing with my playlist again last night and the pain came back and feeling it this morning. Did stretches previously and found it never helped. Also switched to trying to use my arm more when aiming but haven't seen any improvement. aim trained previously for a year and never had these problems until September of 2023 out of nowhere. Anyone know any way to get rid of this or help improve it? (claw grip)
see a physical therapist
sounds like cts
are you experiencing some numbness in fingers when the wrist tingles
Yea back in october I did that's why I stopped
sounds like carpal tunnel
see someone
for the time being you can try to do stretches and exercises for your shoulders actually
cts can be caused/made worse by poor posture as well
Damn, thank you so much I thought it was something like that but was in denial lol. I sit at a desk all day for my job so that might contribute to it as well.
probably does
it might not be that so i wouldnt worry
definitely do see someone
does sound like youre describing nerve pain
Does the type of keyboard I use contribute to that? at work I have the worst membrane keyboard ever and I find that when I type I sorta feel it in my wrist. I don't have this problem at home when typing.
any health advice on how to fix blood circulation for valorant? Always happens for my circulation to reduce blood flow to my hands whenever I hop in a ranked game, making my aim extremely inconsistent and bad, yet I have never found a solution for over a year now
Sounds like a mental problem
Get less stressed about winning in ranked if so
Not aesthetic and can lead to some issues depending on the difference and the movements u’re doing
For example doing deadlifts with one erector bigger and a tight ql on one side is a serious issue that can only get worse
Not really though, my mental is perfectly fine, I always think positively in my games and sometimes even bop to music in my head, i'm generally the one that's trying to cheer up the people in my team yet my body can't understand that I don't want to be stressed about this game and always reacts like this
Honestly i might be wrong, but it does still sound to me like it could be a mental problem, after this comment
Like deep down u do stress
Kinda thing
But just my guess, u can try other things like exercising
Pouring hot water on them etc
Try going into ranked without results oriented goals, ie: win. Try and have an improvement mindset with outcome independence. Whatever will happen happen. Oh i did a mistake? Now lets see how i can improve on that for the future
Btw my hands feel weird and weak on games when im not eating or drinking enough
Maybe thats related aswell
Oh I don't care about my RR, never cared, the only result oriented goal I ever cared about was my own mistakes, though generally I only get those thoughts after I self vod review myself and realize that I am a nuisance to my team sometimes
Okay, what about ur general fitness?
Exercising improves blood flow
Nutrition?
Very bad, I don't work out yet, I eat lots of sweets (quit the habit of eating chips though, I still eat atleast 4 chocolates in total in a day and thats the only sugary thing I still consume)
Still is an excess of sugar though considering what they put in those
For general eating I eat like once or twice a day
Honestly if u eat good nutrition throughout the day + the 4 chocolate bars then its fine for bloodflow terms imo(not for the other stuff tho)
Wait once a day?
That has to be suboptimal
I eat like 4 chocolates every 2 days lol
So like 12 every week practically
Are u a skinnyboy like me, who’s hard for him to eat
no I am kinda in the fat side
So about the nutrition still
What good foods do u eat
Tho im siding to the exercising and particularly grip work and running/walking can enhance ur bloodflow to the fingers
There’re also other components that can help u if u google search im pretty sure
Generally meat like steak, sausages, omelets, spinach with onions and eggs etc
why no one answers me?!!
Whats your routine looking like
that's to say
Do u aimtrain? If yes, what do u do exactly, and do u do it everyday? Which game are we talking about
Ah koovack then training in game for habits recoil of weapons only saturday And sunday
What only saturday and sunday? Game or kovaaks
The two
Thats part of the reason u dont improve
Start training or playing the game everyday
What do u train on kovaaks and which game is it exactly?
No time for monday at friday
Then im sorry but it will be much harder to improve
I begin koovack i bronze for the moment André play apex
For apex i cant really help as i dont play it, what do u do on kovaaks, which routine name?
Benchmark ressources
Can u send a picture of your benchmark to #advice ? We will continue on there

Hello,
What's ur chair/desk height ?
My desk is low af, 63cm and my chair is something about 42cm I really don't find my posture comfortable at all.
My hands are very low and I have t o"lower the shoulders.
Playing valorant and other games is ok but, I just started Aimlabs and after 3-4 task I already feeling my right shoulder being tired/uncomfy.
(I can send u more information, if u want)
Short answer : Just have a chair to desk height where your shoulders are relaxed without holding it up or having it slacking off the table (down)
Yeah that what I read. It's really frustating I really feel more comfortable on my work desk/chair combo lol
I've heard gaming chairs are horrible for gaming (font : West Proter) They offer bad posture and just have an aesthetic look but are cushiony. I currently use a normal desk chair which is just comfy and with a height adjustment thingy
THIS
I have a Corsair T150 something like that, and the chair is so shit lmao
II have a 5$ chair that you could find in waiting room in hospitals, and god damn
1000% better
May I look at the model if u are able to provide the correct name? (corsair T150 is a steering wheel..) Just curious
T1 Race
Big shit chair
That what happens when you buy without trying 🙂
Those look like they want to make u develop "gaming posture" Lmao
Are you able to adjust the height for this? I'll send a video in your dm's for in depth. If needed remove the arm rests, you have a table
I've something like this at work and tbh when I sit on it I just feel so much better than the setup at my home that sucks 💀
Yeah I can adjust everything
Nvm (u got dms closed), here take this, I am not a professional and won't give the best advice for sure. But I can give u a starting point
In this video, I'm going to go in depth on the physical mechanics of aiming, so that you can learn how to sit more properly reduce pains from gaming in your back, neck shoulder, elbow and wrist pain from gaming. This will help you reduce gaming pain, and become a better player. This will help you sit in a way that increases your skill ceiling. Y...
I think I'll steal the chair and measure the desk height
This talks about chairs if u fell for the click bait title and image
Doctor
Whats the problem with your mental, stressing in ranked?
For general mental health go to a psychiatrist, for specific gameplay mental health - treat ranked like a swiftplay - just play. Dont put over expectations on urself
U put too much importance on winning / performing
Thats the problem
Try to have fun more
Even in pro teams, before the round starts the coaches will say “remember to have fun bois” or something along those lines
Stress is bad
Another thing that can help u, is to have one more major goal(higher than gaming in importance for u) than gaming
Idk ur situation, but when all i had was gaming, i was stressing more
i get this pain everytime i play and the more i play the more the pain and time it lasts scales
im not rly sure how to avoid doing this
Try to reduce gaming volume on the pc, grip lightly, do mobility routine for ur whole upper body everyday. U can fine good ones on 1hp site and youtube. Work on your posture and begin exercising slowly if not already
Regular wrist and hand exercises. Also, go to the gym, it will train your grip strength which can help in the long run
alr, my posture is pretty alright at the moment but ill try to exercises
i struggle to bc its immensely boring for me
Well do them better so they feel like something
what?
Like, the exercises should feel quite a bit, so they shouldn't be "boring", you just need to come up with a way of getting yourself to start doing them
I think he means do them with good intensity so they’re more fun
And when you learn them, you can do them between rounds in game etc
Oh u mean the finger ones
i assume so, just it doesnt rly change much for me LOL
it is so boring its agonizing
Before doing them think and know that they will help ur goal and that will keep u motivated
U have to want it
i do
Treat urself after doing them for X amount of days
dont get anything from treating myself
If you have pain in your hands, surely when you do the exercise you feel like pretty sharp pain?
Then you need to do them better
what exercise r we referring to here
Nah u dont treat urself good then
hand stretches
no i just dont feel i ever deserve it, and i dont get anything from it
its just like, regular muscle strain that i feel
? What u mean
i dont get any satisfaction from it
I can't motivate you, and no one else can't motivate you, and if you can't motivate yourself, then you probably need to see a doctor lmao
are you medicated
yeah, doesnt change much for wanting to do exercise
can u guys send me what u think i should be doing for exercises
The medication should give you self control, unless the dosage is too low
should i doing both hand and upper body mobility

Are u not motivated in general or just exercise
should i do both or just one
do everything
uhhhhh both atm ig
limit to how many times i should do em?
I mean
You should be just doing the maximum amount of exercise you can get yourself to do
and if you struggle to get yourself to do anything, you should see a doctor
Sure, just take the 10minutes it takes to learn the exercises, and then you can just do them while gaming or watching something
ya but like, if i am motivated ill do it over n over again
okie dokie
should i do those two and the 1hp upper body routine?
and then run through the 3 videos again
and then rinse repeat until i cant physically anymore
I think the HP1 is going to have a more noticeable impact
@pallid mural wait is this the one u were referring to
Okay I see where this is going. Just do the 1HP video once a day at least every day you feel pain
Thats one of them ye, try that
you can do the exercises more if you want
well id like more to PREVENT it from happening in the first place
Was it you that was about to get looked at for ADHD?
aight
The way to prevent is exercise
Ye, i was diagnosed in the past but need it again cuz i lost it lol
Got 2 tablets for adhd test
How's that going?
Tablets, like medication?
Ye
ya u just said that i should do it after pain
ive just been resting a lot
Tension control, going to the gym to increase grip strength, doing regular exercises
You tried them yet?
im prob not gonna go to gym, i have a hand crusher though so ill try that ig
the thing is my pain isnt wrist pain its specifically in the side of my hand
No i have to try them on the day of the test on the 13th
Exercise is the second most efficient way of treating ADHD, so if you can ever start going to the gym it can help a lot with everything from motivation to self-worth
Good luck, it should be a massive difference
its so mind numbingly boring for me that i dont think it will tbh
ive been doing regular exercising for the past few weeks and its agonizing
wireless earbuds and get a PT or a friend to show you how to do it
music doesnt help rly
exercising is really fun, especially when you're just getting started. Like, it's very painful
Add intensity
if you're a beginner even pushups can be difficult enough
I think if u do mini goals with the exercises it will help
Like a game
You should get into some high intensity exercises if your problem is boredom
Today i will do 2x10, in two days i will do 2x12 no matter what etc
Trust me just thinking about this pumps me up
Cuz i imagine the toughness and reaching the goal moment
what options do i have
just because i say im going to do something doesnt mean i will
goals dont rly
work for me
i get there and im like
oh cool ig
boxing, team sports, just pushing yourself
have no interest in engaging in a sport like that
Buhurt
and there r no team sports that r regularly available near me, and especially not ones i want to play
whar
medieval fighting
Thanks bro 👍
hey does anyone know why my wrist shakes like this? ive been trying to fix it for 3 years and i get the same advice "dont grip hard" "practice smoothness" etc etc etc. ive followed the advice mentioned and still nothing it still shakes. does anyone have any idea? https://streamable.com/kjmevu
Anybody know what causes pain in your palm just under the thumb and pinky finger, I dont even grip my mouse hard
when i twist my left wrist it makes a click with little pain
yeah i get the same
could be muscle soreness from playing too much. Try massaging them and taking a couple days break from playing / aim training. You could also try a palm or claw grip, those'll provide better stability.
can u guys suggest me great desk setup video guides in term of chair position, monitor positon, etc? I have my eye level in the middle of the monitor because if I did try the "ergonomic" position where the eye level are at the top of the monitor, my neck get sore and become someone grandma
West proter’s
my neck tends to lean to the right subconciously, which is not comfortable I believe it is due to my right eye being less strong than my left, hence my prescription glasses. is there a way to improve this?
Daily neck stretches
Any wrist strengthening exercises? When I play basketball, as I try to shoot the ball my wrist starts to have a sharp pain after some time (After not shooting the ball for some time it doesn't hurt as much, but there is still some pain). I think it's due to the fact that I usually sit on my pc all day without any breaks.
I think I might have carpal tunnel or something like that unfortunately.
Also the last time I benchmarked myself (around like 3-2 weeks ago) around 2-3 scenarios in, my wrist started hurting and getting tired. It was really noticable during the static clicking scenarios.
Use more arm in ur training, take frequent breaks every 30 minutes, do a mobility routine for the whole upper body everyday, 1hp site has good info about injury prevention and rehab(also youtube channel)
Also make sure to reduce tension on ur arm wrist and fingers consciously while playing
And reduce gaming time on the pc
Until u feel better
is there a reason i cant stay focused on moving targets
its like i just zone out after 3 seconds
maybe its adhd xd
because i noticed ive also had this problem all my life when reading text, that i just cant keep being focused on it while reading
get diagnosed and medicated
sounds like me, and i have adhd
and i cant stay focused on moving targets either sometimes
anyone find it easier to do aim training after gym sessions?
especially when the caffeine has worn out and playing valo/training is just chilling
yes bc working out increases bloodflow in the brain and muscles
💪I can feel the Testosterone flowing in my blood
or just take exorbitant amounts of hydralazine 💯 🔥
time to turn into a pasu warrior
maybe later
my eye keeps twitching when i shoot dots am i dying?????
im starting to get some wrist pain from aiming, any ways i can avoid this
do u tense alot?
yes
how to make my hand stop shaking ?
occasionally but im working a lot on it atm, it never used to hurt when i didnt regulate my tension at all
oh ok
Play smoothness scens and stop tensing
center of wrist which im assuming is the tendon seems a little strained, no sharp pain should i take a break or nah
Does mewing really work
What do u think it does?
Is having headaches post routine normal
I do the VDIM routine and usually have a headache after especially after tracking tasks
Are u new?
The only breaks I have is like 5 seconds between 10 tasks for water n posture check
Yeah a bit
Why do u need this
I do play a lot of video games tho
Like 4 ish hours a day
But never get headaches
Thats normal then, aimtraining tracking is different and more intense than gameplay
Get frequent breaks, get up and hydrate
With time it will be easier
Do some more than seconds, like 5 minutes or so every 30 min
Then u can continue with more focus + reduced continuous fatigue
Hmmm alright I’ll try that out
hi :D i need some help, i was trying to bar squat again today and i noticed that i was having a lot of pain i wanna say in my flexor carpi ulnaris, on both of my forearm/wrists and i kind of need help for that
any suggestions?
Im assuming u took a long break, u will need to expect an adjustment period, if u did ur previous weights after a break dont, use lower for a bit
There also a lot of videos about pain on elbows forearms wrists on youtube
nah no breaks im just trying more quad movement types
ill do more research, thanks!
Try checking out youtube for squat related arm pain + 1hp channel, they have rehab and prehab for gamer related pain but its same muscles so it should help as well potentially
alright thank you tons!
I often can't take sleep
Do I have to go to hospital?
why can't you sleep?
you just go into bed and stay with your eyes open?
idk
I don't feel sleepy
probably, or at least the doctor
you should probably try to fix your sleep schedule by trying to go to sleep earlier. even though if you can't sleep, going to bed early will make you go to sleep earlier.
avoid screen-time before bedtime if you can, at least an hour before bed.
try taking walks in the evening, helps you relax.
avoid eating anything very sugary before bed, no coffee either. just drink water.
ok,I'll try it
im dead
I figured I'd ask about this here.
I'll try and explain this as best as I can, but the thing that I can most compare it to is an orgasm.
It typically happens while I'm very engrossed in a match and I start well, reaching a climax, it builds up and up and up until it explodes; it's a dopamine rush; yes, but it really impacts the game in a negative way because I perform worse during the coming down and I can typically only calm down fully after the game ends.
I have tried to calm down and try and slow down when this happens, but it doesn't really seem to work. Once I'm on the train I can't get off, If I try to get off I have to derail and crash. And that sucks, a lot
I assume this is flow
I'm not conscious during it, only once I'm about to peak and come down; I really want to avoid that peak, or maintain it. Because if I don't, I will come down and 99% of games that a come down during while they haven't ended; I will lose.
Um, well, I realised that this is connected to something specific to me. So, yeah...
?
I saw multiple times aimers saying u can be a good aimer with 200ms reaction time, i dont think its critical at all
Its just an edge for a few situations
If u have experience and learned and applied all the skills, its more than enough
Cant think about the zone if u want to enter / stay in it
Be goal driven, have fun and challenge yourself, thats it
We cant perform 100% at all times, not possible
Better not to stress about it
Take a break after a game or two then come back
adhd?
No
is it bad that my dynamic sens is higher than my in game val sens
Nope
If its substantially higher (for example 20 dynamic 55 ingame) i recommend from time to time training dynamic on a similar sens to ingame( 40-50)
is 46-52 good?
Ye no problem
is it bad if my static is 80cm when my val sens is 52?
since static is mainly what val is shouldnt i just use my static sens as my val sens?
Not necessarily, u are training ur speed more with 80cm. However i recommend training with slightly higher sens even in static, to still practice some smoothness with the deceleration/micro part of static
Like 65cm
oh
so is it bad to have the static sens the same as in game
does having it lower in aimlab give me larger benifit
Not important for it to be the exact same
By manipulating the sens u train ur weakpoint more with the same muscles the ingame sens uses
For example
If ur ingame is 52 using 40 can train precision and smoothness with ingame movements + using 65 can train speed for that ingame sens
Cuz being smooth and precise is harder on 40, and being quick is harder on 65
The ingame sens will benefit more from training like that
Or should i say ur general mouse control performance with the ingame sens
Any advice if I feel uncomfortable in any position I play?
When did this start

thank you
need advice on how to fix wrist skipping
using less than 40 if i use 52 could be counter productive to train my precision ?
We have our 5 beta testers already! thanks everyone
I think its most likely mental
U dont need to train highsens on static (30cm)
Its counterproductive to learning the technique

how do you make yourself more into an outdoor person? i think it's starting to cause tensions with my parents, because they want me off the computer more (obviously being on the computer too long isn't good for your health)
it'd also help IMO so i won't want online character customization in the games i play
I think getting a hobby that involves meeting other people and doing stuff with them can help
The first action is always the hardest
get airpods and start walking, cycling, exploring, visiting people, visiting places, going to the library, going to the nature etc
anyone else got issues with clicking much? it feels like much clicking is the worst for my hand, for example in micro static scenarios where you click much. could that be a grip issue or something?
What is the airpod parts good for
like “go do a free hobby, but first spend a tonna money for some reason”
Any earphone can apply😎
Try doing a mobility routine for ur hand and fingers
1hp youtube/site has good info
ah yeah good idea, i always forget doing it
Try and relax the grip aswell, will help health and performance
i wonder is there much difference in click force needed in mouses? i got a superlight x pro, wonder if something easier to click would also help
There’s definitely some clicks that are better and some that are harder for spam clicking
Idk about gpx tho
Didnt use it
Guys I think I got osteoarthritis
Why
No earphones -> better situational awareness
What is your problems?
gpx should be relatively easy to click
all the logimice are imo
Just make sure to take frequent breaks
I grinded a lot of schulte, which requires very fast clicking and minibreaks are the goat for handhealth
Not really the relevant part of it at all
My hands feels tired all the time. Especially fingers. I play Valorant 8 hrs a day and 1 hrs aimlab kovaaks. I recently increased my sens from .167 to .23 on 1600 dpi, wrist gets tired as usual but the fingers and palm ache even when I wake next day. Plz help.
how are you sitting
How do I explain it…. I sit almost straight
What does almost straight mean? Have your back to your chair, and your arm so that it has support somewhere and isn't just hovering
How often do you take your hand off the mouse
While playing
Minibreaks are great
Even for a couple seconds in between rounds and shaking them loose or whatever
finger- and palmaches are not good
Anyone have desk advice for a person with short arms and wide shoulders?
I feel like no matter what I do i'm either leaning in to make up for how short my arms are or pulling my pecs/chest tight asf to keep my arms close so I have a wider range of motion with my arm
Adjust the height of the table/chair if u can
Ya I sit with my back to the chair and actually have my full arm on the desk expect the elbow. I just bend a little from my neck because I position my monitor somewhat low
Thx. Haven’t thought about that 👍
Hello just wandering how do you guys deal with forearm pain
idk if it is about fatigue or smth else
Frequent breaks, less tension while aiming, mobility routine and rehab using 1hp exercises on their site/ youtube. Also potentially ur posture and arm position
Can also be caused by weaknesses in the upper back, shoulder and arm muscles
thx for that
im doing some exercices times to times but i think my posture is bad i am arched forward
so theses pains are not common while training like i shouldn't have them ?
get a recliner and sunbathe, shit feels so good.
hello how to deal with wrist pains specifically only occurs when i try to do pushups
Use something u can hold onto so ur wrists are neutral
Or do a mobility routine for ur wrists
- frequent breaks
are there any routines u recommend?
1hp site / yt channel
Also u can search specifically on yt “ push up wrist pain”
Im sure u will find useful stuff
thanks!
For me push ups were hurting when i started now i dont have pain.
i used to do them all the time with no pain but now when i try it hurts likecrazy
Is your form good ?
like hands open elbow parallel to the body
yes
have u take a long break from training ?
yes a few months
I think that it is the reason
this is a weird question but is there an objectively unhealthy cm/360.
probably something like 100cm+ that requires a lot of arm movvement
you will strain your shoulder
100cm is maybe okay but i am sure anything that makes you feel painful or uncomfortable is just not for you.
Although just make sure you got the right posture in place before judging any CM/360 since posture plays a huge role in those cases. Anatomy as well since some people got wide shoulders, etcetera.

what about something like 2xm/360, is there anything unhealthy with that
because i totally dont use 2cm?360
I've no idea in that case lol but I'd say no since you'll be doing little to no movement or you'll break your wrist trying to control it. 2CM/360 is just not feasible. Follow voltaic sens range and you should be OK
i was a big reeps96 fan and when i found out he uses 2cm/360 i copied him and enjoy playing on the sens, im just scared because even though he is a pro i dont know if you can get carpel tunnel syndrome or something from using a sens so "high"
the problem isnt aiming on the sens, its the fear that it can be harmful to my wrist or something even though i dont feel pain while using it
@violet swan you cant tell me this isnt cool https://twitter.com/i/status/1754174608125685921
You can do wrist stretches, exercises to prevent that and keep yourself on the safe side. An even better choice? Invest a wrist powerball or a light dumbbell. And yes, you might not feel the pain now but later on if you are not careful now.
I would say that you need to be really cautious using such a sensitivity since you're trying to replicate this type of aiming which usually results in people tensioning a lot etcetera to compensate for the insane speed. TL;DR, Too much tension = no good for your wrist.
And yes, it is cool but remember that after all it's a preference and what works for you may not work for others and vice versa. There is professionals using lower sens as well, aren't they cool too? :)
i used to use 70cm/360 then 30cm/360 and they hurt more than 2cm/360 hence why i taught myself how to use this sens, its weird because i felt more pain on norm....ldk
Objective matter really. Did you have the right posture in place during your time using these sens? where was the pain?

i genuinely belive i have good posture, i have a recored video of back then and looking it at its probably better than my posture now (i sit on my leg now)
k thanks
will chechk it out
the pain was in my shoulder btw
thats totally not ok
Unhealthy in a way where you'll not hit anything and lose your mind
I struggle with wrist pain, even though I have like 0 tension in my arm, wrist, or fingers I fail to understand what I am doing wrong. I do daily stretches.
My boyfriend who also aim trains struggles from this as well. holding the minimum amount of tension possible to move the wrist, arm, or fingers and yet still have pain after a short time.
Might be fatigue built up from aimtraining + gaming for long periods a day for multiple weeks/ months
possible as I literally cannot hold any less tension, and yet I'm still having strain extremely fast.
I would recommend pc volume reduction and strengthening the tendons of the whole upper body
So stretches for the entire upper body?
Im suggesting whole upper body cuz its all connected, for example neck problem can cause finger problems etc
Mobility routine + strength routine
Exercising helps strengthen the body
if it matters at all the wrist pain is caused when moving to the right specifically
not shaky when moving to the right, but painfull rather fast.
Ye the tendons there are less “built” compared to the left
no pain on the left side, or when moving to the left.
So basically build them up, over time?
no better way to reduce strain, when moving to the right.
I meant that structurally even if u look at ur hand u will see the left has more bone etc, but ur answer is right aswell
Painful tendon needs less work then strengthening
Mobility routine can help alleviate tight spots that might pull on the tendon and make more space for it to move
I recommend checking 1hp site/ youtube
Stretch or strength
injury prevention.
Can u give some examples so i know if its just stretches or strengthening exercises
Do you have wrist pain? CLICK HERE: https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain
This routine is a little different as it is a FULL injury prevention routine! It involves the following types of exercises:
- Self-Massage
- Stretching
- General Coordination
- Strengthening and Endurance
The purpose of this routine is to keep your wrist/hand flexible w...
When did u start this
How many hours a day are u doing mouse movements
Probably overworked as i said above
well it depends I am usually on for about 7 hours 2 spent aim training
I can't even get on for 30 minutes to aim train recently
wrist pain when I move to the right
Wow definitely reduce time on the pc then, at least until pain subsides, then slowly build up
Some recommend to even lock the wrist inplace for awhile but i dont think its necessary imo
Alright.
I noticed my pinky really hurts after playing awhile anyone have any tips?
change your mouse grip
Im using claw rn
palm and fingertip just feel rly weird still
but thx ill try that
everything takes time to get used to it
does anyone here facing some problems with his university life?
i'm at my 2nd year in medical school and when ever i want to study i find myself playing or doing something else useless and that made me repeat the year and i don't know how exactly fixing this problem of being afraid that i will forget what i studied and keeps holding me from even looking at my note books and sheets. (that's embarrassing asking such a question here but i don't know where to ask.)
Do you have glasses?
don't wear them when i play but i do need glasses
anyone know why my hands are always cold no matter what I do
Wear warmer core clothing
you think I haven't tried that
? Idk if u are but this sounded a bit too aggressive, hes tryin to help u
Anyways that could be a circulation issue
Google how to improve circulation to ur fingers
stop smoking, start exercising, drink more water, sleep more, and if nothing works see a doctor
Hey just went through the thread - happy to provide some more specifics about how you can look to approach this if you are looking for some individual guidance here. Pain when moving to the right is likely an issue of the ulnar deviators, most commonly we see ECU issues
If you haven't already checked out our free wrist pain guide - https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/ It has specific exercises you can look to do that will target that area.
With respect to what KsyyZ had mentioned. The temporary reduction of PC time & load is definitely the right approach in modifying load however we can get a bit more specific with where the PC use will be reduced. Different activities on the PC have varying levels of strain on the wrist and hand. Just reduce the aim training by 50% for the next week. And then 1 hr for the other PC time.
This would mean 6 hrs PC, 15-20 min aim training. Nothing which irritates the area
How would one go about building endurance and avoiding future injury?
I think while a grip change can definitely be helpful in the short-term (and it being a potential contributor, but would require a more full evaluation to identify exact reason) it will be more beneficial to just beginning to do some exercises to strengthen the wrist & hand.
Specifically the muscles which control the pinky both in its ability to flex (provide fingertip pressure on mouse) or extend (when you pick up the mouse). I would actually try this more recent routine of mine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_7x46S3Nic&lc=Ugyx899-JRMSCE3FhOx4AaABAg
This can be helpful. Or check our our gaming wrist pain guide which I just posted which can potentially give you some specifics based on your region of discomfort

Got it, thank u!!
Oh man alot of reasons
https://1-hp.org/blog/hpforgamers/coldhandswhilegaming/
Wrote an article a long time ago about this and the underlying physiology contributing to why we experience cold hands
Good question, some nuance to this. GENERALLY it is just about doing exercises to strengthen the muscles that you use most frequently based on your grip, DPI, sens, mouse movement style, (among other individual variables).
By identifying the muscles you are using more frequently. You can perform specific endurance exercises for them. The routines we post are all general meaning they target a majority of the muscles but may not cover all.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoedUZ4OpPY&t=2s
This video actually goes over the regions, what tye do and some more specifics. You would perform higher repetitions and sets (3x15-20) based on your current capacity.
But endurance itself doesn't reduce risk. It's about optimizing some of the other factors (lifestyle, posture, ergonomics). Lifestyle or your schedule is typically the other large contributor to risk of injury. What I mean by lifestyle is how long you are gaming with strenuous activities without breaks, are you even taking breaks? What are you doing within your breaks to reduce cumulative stress on tissues.
Posture & ergonomics are typically the smaller contributor (20% in most cases that we've treated)
FREE GAMING WRIST PAIN GUIDE: https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Wrist pain is by far the MOST common complaint I get when I work with pros and gamers. And the first thing they often encounter online are resources telling them to rest, brace, just do stretches! Sorry, that’s not going to help in the LONG run. These are just methods for short...
Hopefully this makes sense but everyone's situation is different so those need to be accounted for in order to have the better indivdiualized program
I’m trying to get into med school
I wanna become a paramedic
I gradtuated as paramedic when i was in high school and i spent 2 years after high school to be a pharmacist i will graduate in 2 months but my main univirsty im studying to be a surgeon but i can't focus on my study at all when ever i want to study i found my self doing smth else that's useless and saying i will study tmru and the cyrcle keeps in
Im able to do my exams cuz im remember from my class when the professor explains but i can't focus on my notes when im home and forgetting what i studied
why when i do these exercises i start to face more problems
back when i had alittle more serious issues around my wrist and forearm i tried doing these but it still never prevented it from happening just noticed it made me more tense afterwards and limiting my range of how far i can bend my wrist
also when i game i tend to see the right side of my nose while playing and it’s very distracting and really impacts my gameplay especially on kovaaks
Really good question and really common especially wnen the muscles & tendons are a bit more irritable.
In certain cases when individuals (not saying you might fall into this situation but it's possible) have lower levels of physical activity (no exercise or movement), spend 10-12 hours on the PC daily for several years it can lead to decontioning which can really lower the capacity (think of it as HP) that the tissues can handle.
So even though it might not have been an issue before, the HP is gradually lowering from no conditioning of the wrist and hand. And eventually the tissue gets irritated. When someone in this position tries to do general prescribed exercises, it leads to continued irrtiation because it is not SCALED to the level of strength or resistance the individual can handle.
This is like giving a new weightlifter 30# for DB curls at a 3x10 volume. THey will not be able to handle it and likely will have more overall discomfort or pain
Ultimately it's about finding yoru capacity in both exercises and how much you can handle without overloading and then gradually progressing / strengthening from there
cant argue with the truth, that was me for almost two years and on top of that i had some struggles with losing weight so i can see how impactful that would’ve been, by any chance do you have some videos you would recommend for someone in my position i tend to over do things when they aren’t shown because i feel like i should be able to do more but then it bites me in my ass
I really wish I could give you a video that would just cover every potential regression and progression based on the multiple variables out there but it's really depends on a multitude of factors. If some of my general routines have not been helpful for you or caused some irritation at most I would recommend doing 50% of the prescribed amount in those videos as a start
ultimaetly I always recommend our gaming wrist pain guide (free) as a initial start
https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
since its pain region specific
but from there in order to account for other things that might lead to the lack of progress or tolerance oef the exercise at a certain resistance would really recommend setting up a consult with us
by any chance do you think a lot of this could be caused by my shoulder blade because i do notice i do feel pain in that area also and i’ve speculated that it could be the root cause but of course i don’t know
It's a possible contributor but depends on how that area behaves and the overall posture / etc.
ok reached out for a consultant thank you, last question not to sure if this would be in you’re area of expertise but do you know why i see my right side of my nose when i game and when i use my phone it can get super distracting
Hmm not our main competency but can ask around our internal provider network to see if anyone migiht have an idea. Can likely discuss more in the consultation
ok thank you that would be extremely appreciated has been something i’ve been dealing with some time now
How long should I rest for if I stopped when my wrist started feeling tired?
When is the last time you've gone for a eye sight test?
I know this isn’t the place for it mybe but I’m on my road to lose weight and start eating healthier bcs of my recent heart problems… I am atm 170cm and have almost 90kg, I work heavy duty job for 9-10 hours a day (construction), I calculated I need around 2.8-3k calories a day and I do around 5-5.5k a day atm… Could someone help me start some diet plan? I can cook and live to cook, but I would like to hear some examples from you people in chat
i dont really cook and not a big eater, but i have heard from friends that when they started, they tried to cut out a lot of saturated fat
and slowly cut out like a meal a day
Soup
around 8months ago
is this something that isn’t normal?
I mean I have a lazy eye/crooked eye so if I'm without my glasses I can see that some effect. Idk how you're playing games without glasses and not getting a headache tho, if u have crooked eyes
do you guys have any recs other than caffeine for adhd auto pilot / lack of focus especially during long sessions of gaming / aim training
not sure never thought i necessarily needed them because i only really have trouble seeing from far
why do my fingers click when i open my hands fast
i need help trying to play a static task and my arm is tensing and hurting no matter how much i try to relax what could be causing this
Medication
other than the obvious stuff what helped me is listening to calm music still dealing with it my self but setting goals before games or before you aim train has helped me focus alittle more
cardio
preferably running
How do u guys get ur time to play videogames, i wanna do aimtraining and vor reviewing but with work i get like 2-3 hours of gaming in a day so if i do theese things i cant really game a lot, also working out and eating good and healthy and getting enoth sleep takes up too much time. How do i get more time 😦
Certainly. Here is an aim training schedule for someone low on time:
Schedule for NoseBleedHero
Sleep for 10 hours
Prepare and consume food for 1 hour
Expel waste for 1 hour
Work for 6 hours
Aim train for 6 hours
Make sure to maintain your schedule consistently for maximum aim training benefit!
I notice a lot of eye/visual strain when I'm doing certain long-strafe tracking scenarios like VT Suavetrack for example. Never had any issues in the past with static/switching before, which makes me believe motion blur is the problem. Are there some monitor or in-game settings i can change to combat this?
i took a little break from gaming and these days im back but i barely play fps games and aim training. but i have noticed that when i aim train i feel this weird exhaustion or idk muscle tightening at my inner elbow. i cant finish a flick task without this happening and it really makes me slow down. it feels like when you do a dead hang for as long as you can and then when you come down your forearms really tighten idk
does not eating before playing hinder your performance by a lot or am i just bad at aiming?
hey i was wondering about wrist aiming since you can get carpal tunnel from using it , is it really that bad ?
absolute opposite for me. after my evening meal im way worse. digestion is much work for the body
True
i think it might be bad to only target using ur wrist but if you have a sens were you use wrist with a mix of arm and fingers you should be fine
do you need rest days for aimtraining like the gym does?
I have went on for a month straight with no days relaxed on aim at the end of the day ending with aim and this just shot into my head as a gym rat after a back day strugling to controll my forearms a lil
Aim training is mostly mentally exhausting, so you can quickly reach a point where you're not really getting a benefit from it. But like, a bit every day should be fine. Your brain recovers during sleep, faster than muscles.
@regal frost this guy could use some help
and with starvation you cant put your focus on the game
after every 2 comp games, should i take a break for 5 mins or is that too short of a break?
i know i still have the skill
also anyone experiences uh, shaking with your foreamrs
i kinda feel it when i use it to aim, im not used to using my foreams
also, does posture have short term effects? like better in game performance or is it just for long term stuff
whicvh i will be very thankful for in my 30's?
One message removed from a suspended account.
thanksz
is it normal that i can feel muscle activation in my forearms while aim training/deathmatching in valorant
its not like pain its legit like a forearm pump
i think im accidentally flexing a muscle unconsciously maybe
idk
idk if putting it there but, should i do a wrist warmup before playing?
do I make me understand?
unless youre experiencing pain currently from your posture or messing up stability/rom you wont find any improvements in ingame performance
im not really having pain
but my mouse sensor gets al ittle bit janky when my arm is too high up the mousepad
or too low
Good Sleep + eating + drinking a lot of water helps a lot with being more alert/better reaction time and flicks
Any idea why my hand hurts less when using some mouse weights?
is there something wrong with the height of my table? It's less apparent in kovaaks but whenever I play apex I just get this light sore on my bicep/rotator cuffs and my elbow and i feel like it has an effect on my keypresses and tracking
Likely tensing to compensate for mouse control (harder to control a lighter mouse in most cases)
And tensing less on a bit heavier
Try being a bit higher, this can also be caused from repeated stress everyday for long hours and bad posture
i got a wrist question..
I recommend a bit less pc volume and mobility routine from 1hp
whenever im tracking with my wrist and not my arm, if i ever go past like 25 degrees to the right, my tracking starts to shudder and stutter real bad
(this is while paying attention to my tention btw)
im not grippin like crazy
Mobility routine + smoothness training + combine arm wrist and fingers when tracking(shoulder as well )
does that just come with practice/unused muscle is weak or is it a medical thing i should look at
thats the thing i need to fix this cause its really apparent
Just regular mouse control and maybe some mobility restriction nothing serious
We all had shaky aim in the beginning and it will also shake if stressin too much
idk its just my wrist has always been rediculously shaky and i didnt realise how bad it was till i decided to boot up kovaaks yesteraday
it feels super out of my controll tho, like i can focous on my hand and arm and feel all the muscles relaxing but for some reason i cant keep it smooth
Ye cuz ur smoothness skill needs work
Aiming is mostly static and smoothness
only reason i noticed it was in smoothness scenarios so i started to focous on the issue and if i lock my wrist and only use arm i do a hell of alot better but anything that involves my wrist ends in overshooting or jitters or muscle spasm but ill keep at the smoothness bots for a few more days and see if it improves
Ye u can train ur wrist specifically but remember to use all muscles still
Whats ur sens on tracking
ye i know to aim you need to use everything its just my arm is so far ahead of my wrist in terms of tracking i need to specialise in my wrist for a bit
Cool 👍
Im actually using my left hand cuz my right is injured, can u tell me the cm value on gamingsmart.com
Try training on 35 for a bit is what i would do
but ive been through the whole find your sens journey and by far this is the best comfort/performance
il try this
whats the science behind it?
A bit more smoothness automatically
And easier to train on
While still not being too low to reduce wrist usage and smoothness requirement
U can return to 30 whenever u want
my b im stoopid
All good
forgot that increased 360 is inversely proportional to sens
thought you ment higher sens = smoother
Yep its common to get confused by it
thanks for replying! I will see if raising my seat height helps
trying it rn and its smoother but i fear its only because the jitters are = to less pixels
the issue of the spasms in the wrist motion are still happening its just less noticeble and i wanna eradicate it completely
Ye now it will be easier to train smoothness
Recheck in 2 weeks
Rank and routine?
I recommend everyday smoothness training
i know it take time, i just wanted a more professional confirmation weather or not you think it IS something that will go away with practice, before i put hours and hours into training it
casue for all i know i just have an essential tremmor
but if its super common for most players then ill just keep going at it
Im pretty sure its smoothness issue
But i dont see ur hand so idk
Its beneficial to train smoothness anyway
Even if u have legit tremors
just feels like within the first 20 secconds of tracking its fine
and withing like a 40 degree span
but when i get outside of that its almost like my mouse is snagging on the pad and then lurching super far forward
but its just my muscles bugging out
Maybe they’re not used to control in that rom (training) or weak (training)
Or lack mobility (mobility training 😎)
i only know the noob terms
never heard of a "mobility" bot to train
reccomendations...?
Noo 😆 physical mobility
lol
To increase muscle rom (range of motion ) and stability through the range
never heard range of motion as rom before that makes a lot more sense
my first thought was i dont really use that muscle very often its prolly just weak outside of a certain degree of motion, but ive had finger tremmors my whole life (not noticible enough to affect micro adjustments) but i just wonder if my wrist is suffering the same thing
no way to know except keep grinding ig
Glhf
Eating sleep and physical activity helps all human activity so its good to do regularly and with quality
My fingers can feel weird if i play a lit without eating
at my peak physical activity i was a fit 14yr old who played soccer every day, still couldnt click the heads when i hopped on sige every night tho
xD
okay yeah im pretty sure its weak ass muscle
spent like 5 mins typing and first track on after that was smooth as butter, but 2 secconds later it got shaky
should I use weights then for tensing less or focus on control on my lighter mouse?
everytime I do the Wrist stretch and posture guide in #resources a lot of my bones in my hands crack is this normal
cause I used to crack my fingers but for some reason my wrist crack too
Ur choice, tension control will improve regardless
Its fine
What am I doing wrong here? Is it tension or pressure? Recently every time I go to put down my arm on my desk to aim I feel it numbing up, at first I thought it was my new arm sleeve being a bit tight but I have tested without it and still happens, it started to affect me outside of playing games so I am stopping for now but, what can I do so it doesnt happen again?
so, aim training is mentally exhausting right and how do you prevent the exhaustion and do it like the pros?
do I just be optimistic
hey i was wondering how badly does sitting position, desk and chair height affect your aim ? i am like 160cm, my feet ain't touching the ground, and my table is so tall that it makes my arms flare out when i put it on the table, is this why i can't move my arm properly and use it for aiming ?
Tendon issue, figure out which tendon is irritated and why
Can be from neck to fingertip
Start doing full upper body mobility routine and reduce volume pc
Its important for performance but mostly ur health, use a pillow below u
Or a higher chair
They get used to it over time and doing scheduled mini breaks and refueling helps aswell
i feel like my hand shakes a lot and twitches even whilst relaxed. for example, a lot of the time when laying my hand on my girlfriends thigh she says she can always feel me shaking and twitching. or another example if i just position my hand on my mousepad as if i was holding a mouse i think i can feel my hands shake a little
and also whilst i track a target ill be really nice a smooth, at a consistent speed, then my hand will just like twitch and all of a sudden ive just jumped forward in front of the target... is there any possible way to fix this sort of thing?
Is it normal after challenging yourself with harder to do scenarios to have headaches?
if it feels like math than yeah
it could be not as good if it doesn't feel like a math headache
non scientific or health practitioner opinion 😛
idk if its the exercises ive been doing or what but now my wrist shakes when i rotate it like when i go to scoop something like dog food or preworkout and pour it out when i twist my wrist it gets all shakey idk why
If its after exercise its understandable
no its like right now
i normally do them at night
all ive done today was just played some ranked
maybe its because ive been doing the exercise too recently?
Stretch
jelq
ima be honest ive felt the same thing ever since i started going to the gym
^
so how is this masterclass going to be held? Through VC or will it be documented properly for others that havent seen it
Am I stupid or is it impossible to get a decent amount of my arms on the table AND upholding the 90 degree angle? The table is just literally in the way and I'm not even 'big'
If I only have my forearms or like half of my forearms on the table it's a lot more tougher and borderline annoying to play on a low sens (like 45cm/360)
guys what does it mean when you have pain in your eyes? more specifically moving them in all directions and a pain directed towards the back of them
have had it for days now
Have you watched faraway objects
yeah i tend to practice TS with a very high FOV and have been grinding that for the past few days is that why?
paid off except for this pain i got going on LOL
See if that helps. I've placed my PC in front of a window so it's pretty easy for me
How far apart should I have my hand on my keyboard, and my hand on my mouse?
posture for playing?
check pinned messages
tysm
Anyone know how I can improve self control
Because I say to myself that I’m gonna go to bed on time or I’m going to focus on revising etc but I end up going to bed late and doing 1 question and getting distracted
Guys how do I start working out again?,A problem I have with consistency with all activities is that the moment i get bad sleep 1 time and when I get bad or not enough sleep I tend to not have energy I tend to just not do it,should I push myself anyway or is that my body telling me it's a bad idea?
Also how much sugary drink in a day is too much,I tend to make drinks with cordials or drinks with coco powder with 1,5-2 tablespoon of condensed milk or tea with 2-4 tablespoon of sugar.
get consistent good sleep first then work on working out
set alarms/reminders. write down on paper saying youre gonna sleep at blank time. dont do jumps that you think r too big like sleeping at 10pm when u usually sleep at 2am
You can buy an adjustable chair
I'm having the same fuckin problem.
But that won't magically make my stomach able to travel through the table, no?
It's like I need a cut part out of it
Sometimes a stripe of dark substance appears on my nose.
This happens frequently after drinking coffee (often within an hour).
What do you think is the cause of this? Not sure if its normal or not, but my family says its weird.
When I google blood on nose, I only get results for nosebleeds, which I haven’t had in many years, but idk what it is then
Google a more specific term
Like “ black stripe appear nose coffee”
Try things like that
Hello, i have been playing aimlab for few years 2 weeks ago i was playing it for 6-7 hours a day and then i wasnt able to control my pinky and ring finger anytime i use wrist or fingertips or anything that moves those 2 fingers, i went to a doctor and did a electromyogram the doctor said it is normal but probably its something else and its a lifetime thing, i cant be able to put tension on the 2 fingers or they will get worse and worse till maybe the ulnar nerve is fully injured, he said there is nothing to fully fix it, i feel like i dont believe that, can you help with any advice?
rest and change your grip
i rested for 15 days, it didnt work, once i got back it got worse again, and my grip is just palm so nothing wrong with it i think?
clearly there must be something wrong if it causes this
That doesnt return good results either
Hmm kinda weird, u might want to get checked
Deficiencies / doc opinion on this (skin profession)
Does it wash off
Yeah
have you tasted it??
ah no, it washes off quickly
That may be a good idea
Mobility routine for whole upper body
Start exercising as well
Plus reduced pc time
Wishing u speedy recovery
Can anyone help me figure out what I have? I thought I was dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome with the only difference that I get the symptoms all the way to my bicep, sometimes the shoulder, I just did some exercises and they helped a lot but now the same symptoms started to develop in my left arm so now im confused... My appointment is in 3 weeks so im on my own for a while
Quit gaming for 2 days, do a full mobility routine twice a day, u should feel a lot better
When u do game, do frequent breaks
Of a few minutes to loosen the body
Keep good posture throughout the day
Where can I find a routine?
Youtube and 1hp site / channel

I have a little bit of astigmatism on my less dominant eye (left eye).
I’m going to start doing exercises to make my vision less blurry
I’m assuming using an eye patch for long periods would change my eye dominance after like 3 days. Would simply taking off the eye patch revert back to my right eye or would I need to cover left
why not get some glasses
I do but that doesn’t really fix astigmatism
Also I just want to strengthen my left eye
i have one in my left eye as well
Ah unlucky 😪
i havent tried glasses yet but thats what my eye doctor recommended
one real lens one fake
15/20
Yea, when they make yur senses they mark where your pupils are to correct for astigmatism
Feels fine with glasses tbh
Lenses*
Is this diagnosis by a doctor or your idea of it?
Doctor told I have astigmatism
It was my idea was for eyepatch tho
But I looked it up and it’s actually a thing
Funny thing which might be or might not be related is that around 50% of people with ADHD have astigmatism
And I can say my vision and focus is much better after both getting glasses and starting medication
💀 that’s funny
And personally I can say that just looking out of the window at faraway objects helps a lot
(that's why my PC is next to the window)
Ooo nice
It’s really good to practice going from screen to far away objects
To strengthen eyes
yeah, well I think it "rests" your eye more than trains them
That’s one of the things I’m trying as I work in my left
And I also have glasses with a lot of correction for my less dominant eye
Ah nice
My glasses are lowk soo outdated
I think they are 5 years old 😭
I had more recent ones but they broke and I never went to eye doctor since
Probably should book an appointment then
I used to get major head aches due to having no glasses or improper glasses
Yeaa :/
I think getting glasses is one of the cheapest and quickest things anyone can do to improve their wellbeing so I would just do it and think about it later haha
It started yesterday so when I do pretty much anything on my mouse my index finger starts feeling really weird i dont know how to explain it like its not pain its not tingling
kinda like if it was half asleep idk
and i feel a tiny bit of that in my pinky aswell
but if i go and play videogames i feel like a burning sensation in my wrist and hand
not a painful one tho
just a sensation but none of these symptoms im having are painful just wanna make sure
what could be the cause to these things
?
Even after TYPING on my keyboard with both of my hands and scrolling some discord and youtube with my mouse my index finger feels that same kinda half asleep awkward feeling.
its minimal enough that it wouldnt bother or make me quit playing but im just conserned if im developing something bad
I play mostly valorant and probably like 2.5-3h of aimlabs a week and im not like a nolifer but i probably average like 3h of valorant/aimlab a day in normal weeks
though ive been playing more the past 5 days cus of sick
I recently been obsessed with aim training, and i recently start feeling pain in my forearm tendon, should i go to the doctor or it should heal by resting?
Its not out of the norm, reduce pc volume and intensity, do mobility routine twice a day and exercise, 1hp youtube and site can help
Mobility for whole upper body btw
Should i start today or wait till the pain is gone?
Pretty sure any kind of stretches can be safely done right away. Obviously if you feel like something is broken, see a doctor.
i do this sometimes
Bro I realize how bad my eyes are from trying to do that 😭
It’s like weirdly frustrating
Like my eyes can’t adjust so my brain feels angry 💀
lmfao. if i have been gaming extremely long like +8 hours straight or smth and i try it, it takes sooo long for my eyes to correctly focus but after a few seconds it feels fine
Yeaa, I need to make it a habit
I’m gonna start reading books
After 1 page you focus on something in the distance for awhile and resume
you know what my brain really hates? the fact that i can decouple vergence from accommodation
What’s that mean lol 😅
vergence is like where ur looking and how much ur eyes are pointing inwards. and accommodation is ur focus, like how blurry it is
so like
for example i can converge my eyes very much (cross my eyes) but still keep my accommodation far away so its not blurry
because usually when ur looking at something very close to you, the background gets blurry
and when these 2 things dont match, the brain gets conflicting info from the eyes and therefor i get a headache
Yeaa
the uncomfy feeling u get is called VAC
lol
theres a wiki
Vergence-accommodation conflict (VAC), also known as accommodation-vergence conflict, is a visual phenomenon that occurs when the brain receives mismatching cues between vergence and accommodation of the eye. This commonly occurs in virtual reality devices, augmented reality devices, 3D movies, and other types of stereoscopic displays and autost...
Bro taught me like 5 terms lol
lmfao
have u ever tried those autostereograms
where u relax ur cross ur eyes to get a 3d image
DUUUDE
I keep seeing those vids but I can never do them
Makes my eyes and brain hurt
im pro at them 😎
Damn
sharky
anyone know any ways to help with sweaty hands while gaming?
when i play for not even 10-20 mins i produce an actually decent amount of sweat and i feel like it reduces my performence a lot, especially while using mousepads
sucks tbh
Wash your hands and your mouse regularly, have a towel near you
im super horny for characters, esspecially moira and loba, soeome help
take a shower and go to sleep
its 5pm here in australia
Did I stutter?
yes
Guys is that normal that after playing 1/1:30h of tracking scenarios i get wrist ache while doing more than 2h of static/dynamic does nothing?
I think an arm sleeve that covers ur wrist can help u a lot
does anyone have a clue of what it could be
too much computer. stretch your hands/wrists/fingers and move your body more
If you're lifting a lot you need to stretch a lot
You could have a lot of stiff muscles in your arms, especially in small areas like hands, fingers, wrists. HP1 has great exercises for those
ye rn im just taking a break from val and aimtrainers and stretching a bit
should you lean on your chair when playing or lean more into the monitor ?
The more of your back and body that touches the chair, the better
leaning into the monitor isn't dangerous in short bursts tho, but if you do that, you should get out of your chair periodically and rest your back on the chair from time to time
cus my only my lumbar on the spine touches me while the rest of my body is just upright
my table is quite tall so when i lean my whole back onto the chair, my arm is just flat on the table
Can you lower the table/make the chair higher/pull the chair closer
my chair is maximum height and my table is build into a structure so it is unfortunate news for me
If it's causing you issues, getting a new table will probably have the best $/benefit ratio
I play relatively low sens (between 35-50cm) and if I aim train too much in a week I get pain in my shoulder, are there any warmup exercises for this? I've tried doing some light internal and external rotation stuff with a band but it doesn't feel like its helped too much
hi, at work i use cameras daily and my hand has started to hurt here, and the more frequently i use it, the more it hurts
Any quick fixes for tennis elbow?
ive gotten it from lifting (or atleast had the symptoms) a few times and its just gone away with rest
like not doing push days for like a week
i used to play 81.64cm/360 and didnt get this wow
i play like 60cm now tho
advice for shoulder pain ?
like sitting at the desk if your elbow is unsupported it might hurt due to shoulders getting tired and for aiming generally you keep your forearm on the desk so it might be just wrong way of sitting.
also if it is in gym setting u might just gave poor stabilizer muscles in your shoulders, working on those is not that hard if your gym has bands there are also things you can do just in your room with a book
so keep forearm on desk most of it and that helps me with not getting tired while gaming and also for aiming
I have 90-70% of my arm on the desk rn
as for gym settings my main exercise for soldier is mostly pull ups variations and push up, other than that some 5kg dumbbells for the smaller muscles group
side lateral rise*
is it placed down or hoverring over the desk mb ur chair is too hight or the otherway around too low and ur arm is pushed up
low shoulder volume cuz such a small muscle recovers fast if you want it to grow train it more offen with two isolation exc also incorpirate some stabilaty work might help
I have my arm is a bit of angle as my mousepad is quite big
tryna stay slim and compact here not trying to gain volume
is it possibe to see a photo or something in your general gaming sitting way cuz describing in words is hard
then just adding stabilaty work will do the trick
a bit of an angle is questionable terms cuz I know a classmate who said he sits at a bit of an angle and during a programing class bro sat with his spine facing the left as his torso looked forwards
so idk what you consider a bit
might be possible
not rn tho
still outside
fair
tuch grass lmao
resting rn
fair
also what kind of gym goer are u that does not want to pack on size cuz this is the first time I have heard of that
like a powerlifter with an already substantial amount of muscle mass just working on strength
or just on a cut?
pretty much I’m a cyclist and hiker
oh endurance athlete
cool
I love bikes but curently do not have one due to old one messing up on the chain loosening and falling off offen
its a pain tbh
get roadbike
better
u’ll have giga thigh
ic ic
imma look into that but later rn do not have the money just bought a new monitor and kinda want to not spend for a little bit.
well that kind of bike is heavy af
I have some decent muscle on my legs already but more size is not unwelcome
well if you don’t cycle often and long its not worth to buy
XD
I pretty much just exercise for health
I would use it evry day to get to the gym faster cuz it is a 30min walk
not really shredded or muscular guy here
I am just muscle and some fat rn doin a cut so I am decently sized as a person
man just get a normal bike then 😂
yea fairs
pretty much 173cm with 80kg rn
so yea
but heavy sounds better cuz it might break less
pretty chunky myself
I am 184cm with 98.8kg as of this morning weigh in
Lithuanian so avrage hight for my land for a male is 180cm I am basicly bearley above avrage where I am
cool
dunno the average height here
lemme look it up
alrite
men are 163.55cm
so ur tall for ur land
I feel short in my own classes cuz one dude is 2m and 11cm tall in my class lol
I ask bro how many steps it takes to get to poland with them long legs he said more than 5 lol
holy
man hiking with long cloth is painful
