recenlty im starting to notice how as soon as i start to get in the lead i just "troll" until the end
is it normal that on some days you have lower scores etcetera kinda like a bad day
feeling slow
how do you all get away from the habit of complaining? the thing is, i've never been a fan of the stoic mindset especially as it's so tied to "peak masculinity", and i want to be the total opposite of peak masculinity
Thank you
I think maybe some kind of practice of gratitude and humility in general. Practice mindfulness to be able to intervene in the situation itself when you do have valid complaints and criticism and express them more constructively, try to acknowledge relevant positive aspects of the issue along with it. Maybe those qualities can even be considered feminine while complaining in an assertive and confrontational way could be more masculine? Just some thoughts.
thanks for answering. i'll give it a try but i'll seek further help as appropriate if i can't do it
main problem i'm having is that i complain about being bad at games but don't try, and with work, i struggle to stay at work
If it's your own responsibility you can own up to it of course, but also have compassion for yourself and meet yourself where you're at to practice improving from there. Again I see opportunity for feminine traits to balance out masculinity there. WRT giving it a try; attitude changes also take practice like skills and you'll fall and stumble and have to try again, all part of the process - and a live's work.
wrt?
with respect to, sorry
don't worry
hey, i've been facing an issue recently and i am not sure what it is as i haven't faced it perform but during my trainings especially with static and scenarios that require consistent flicking(aka moving your arm quickly) I tend to start feeling a strain somewhere near my biceps, is there specific stretches that can help me fix it overtime
I think it's more like of a warm up problem cause I do tend to warm up my wrist but not my whole arm although on a side note I am a really buffed guy with decent muscle mass so I don't think it's related to working out or something
How do I fix my mentality while gaming and aim training. Whenever I don't perform at my absolute peak or even when at my absolute peak I always think I am too bad. I rarely enjoy playing games where I am only playing decent and not the best. This has gotten to the point where I can not even play Aimlab because I don't get near my highscores which triggers me after 3-4 tasks. I try to tell myself that it is not important if I get my highscore but after some games it doesn't matter anymore and I stop because I just get mad. This has made competetive gaming not fun for me and I have no clue how to solve it
So I have dysthymia so many days I get hopeless and very depressed and I think this is affecting my perfomance in koovak. is it possible to lose skills by picking up low scores or not playing in a day because i'm too unwell?
no
seems like you answered yourself tbh
forget about scores. scores in aim trainers mean absolutely nothing. you're focusing on practicing a skill - it's different. when playing games, you're playing to get better - not to perform well. performing well will come naturally. getting better is where your efforts should be. note any and all improvements, even small ones. use this as fuel to keep moving
a break can also be in order if you're feeling overly frustrated or burnt out - you're not gonna lose all your ability if you take some time for your mental.
In my past, I slept a lot and didn’t eat quite well - uh I calculated from today since sleep is really messing me up right now Im talking about 13+ hours … the thing about it thought , that I notice most times when I wake up… I look at the time and I’m like oh it’s 6:30 let me just wait until 7 then I end up falling back asleep and wake up later doing the same thing.. the more I end up falling back asleep the harder it seems for me to get up…uh just wondering if anyone has any advice? o.o I also sleep easier when my body is in a routine of sleep.. so for example if this happens it messes up my routine so that’s also how it repeats … demotivation also seems to be strongly linked for me sleeping a lot, any advice? I would be grateful for, thank you.
im getting wrist pain in my keyboard hand.my arm is off my desk and my keyboard is at the edge of my desk and i have my hand on keyboard when playing so the rest of the arm is just dangling.when i play my keyboard hand is sort of tilted to the left side so the right side of my wrist is hurting .I guess i should mention it is on top my wrist not the bottom.
I'd suggest that you find a way to get your arm level with your keyboard. That personally has prevented me from getting wrist pain on that hand
I'm not a doctor, but you kinda stated the solution for your problem in the question lol. Getting in a routine for sleeping will help with both of your problems. Your brain has a sort of "sleep inertia" (not the actual use of that term, but the way I like to describe it). Basically, like inertia, its hard for your body to suddenly make impactful changes in the opposite direction of your sleep schedule (like trying to suddenly sleep many hours earlier) than it is to add on to bad habits (like how its easy to fall down the slope of continuously going to bed later or napping multiple times in one day). The best ways I've personally found to fix this are to either force a new schedule cold-turkey style or slowly ease into a new one, shifting down by half an hour a day. I'd recommend trying to drop down your sleeping hours to around 7-9, as oversleeping can actual have negative effects (both in health and in your life). the more you oversleep, the more you'll want to sleep and the more groggy you'll feel during your waking hours. Normalizing your sleep schedule to something around the range I gave earlier will decrease feelings of drowsiness when you're supposed to be awake and hopefully give you more time in the day to do the things you want to do :)
regardless of what path you take to get to a normal sleep schedule, it will take time to adjust to the change. Don't get disheartened if you're still feeling drowsy in the day or unable to sleep on schedule early on :)
I can make my wrist crack just like how we crack our fingers, if I spin my wrist/hand fast and hard enough it will crack. But, after a few months even just a small movement in my hand or wrist cracks my wrist and right now I can do it non stop, I'm not sure if this is healthy and normal or there's something wrong with my wrist now. I don't even have to do a full 360 with my hand to make it crack and I can do it 1000 times non stop (no bs). Do you guys think this is safe?
i have the exact same problem
i have a huge shoulder tension problem on my right side that prevens me from smoothly aiming and while i work on fixing it i still need to know for certain what the best way of treatment is.
my posture has always been very good so im not sure how i got this but i know it came from gaming
basically i dont want to be forced to aim only with my wrist because resetting the mouse and arm aiming a lot seems to make it worse
to me it sounds like a mild impingement
and it literally keeps me from doing what i love
atm i try to consciously not use any shoulder while aiming but since im used to it already it really messes with my aim
having a very loose grip helps a lot already but i dont know how to rest my arm on the pad without making it worse
it also messes with biceps tension because instead my shoulder will tighten
i am getting a lot of pain in my arm while training. Dont know if its overtraining. Is there any way to prevent this?
s-posture
A good posture is one where you’re sitting upright with your chest up, giving your neck and lower back natural curvature. The shoulder blades should be moved back and up, allowing them to be closer to the spine. Your thighs should remain parallel to the floor, and your knees should be about as wide as your hips. Lastly, your forearm and wrist should be parallel to the floor, as well. Weight should be distributed evenly with your forearm across your mousepad or desk, and your wrist should not arc up or down.
Maybe ?
Anyone know anything about pain in the back of the wrist when training/playing? Hurts the most when bending my hand back.
How do you train your wrist? I do daily stretches, stretch my wrist/hand in-between games, etc. I can't bend my hand back sometimes because of how bad it is :/
check some vids on yt on it
do the exercises for like a week or two and see if it helps
dont go too hard on it tho
I've been doing wrist stretches for 4-5 days now anyways so I guess I'll just continue at it
Thanks :)
np
hey, I'm doing some kovaaks rn and my hands are feeling really wet and oily. I just took a shower and it hasn't helped. Anyone know why and how to stop it. Its really messing up my feel
hey, my shoulder is fucked, does anyone know if this is why my wrist is shaking when i move it left/right or if my wrist is also fucked
thanks
like what do you mean that your "shoulder is fucked". Is there pain when you move it? Did it get dislocated? Can you give more information.
also if your wrist shakes when you pivot left and right that is typically a strength problem. Developing those muscles will improve smoothness. If you go to #resources and click on posture and wrist stretches, that will improve it a bit. Also look online for wrist strength exercises.
I have supraspinatus impingement and some tendinosis
its a new problem i used to be good at aiming
I have a callus on my wrist for years, will it effect the performance or health?
I have just returned to aim training today and i can feel my hand getting a little numb while training anyone know what could be causing that?
how do i keep my left (lazy) eye from drifting? ive noticed its had a great effect on my aim when im not focused enough to always keep it from slowly drifitng off
as long as it's benign then not really, you'll naturally adjust your grip for it
if it actively hurts especially when you're training that's something you should bring up with a trained physician
wrist shakes a shit load when i turn it to the right when tracking
Its kinda like jumpy
i hope its not something to do with me physically
lmao thanks

#4 years nofap
my friend said its bad beating ur **** after an aim training session
is that true
im being serious bra
🔥
bruh
What the fuck lmao
it kills gains
he justified it with like your hand is in that "aim training" motion so beating it will destroy that
man's asking a question
or something
Its cardio
i usually find a quickie helps me with pb's i am struggling to beat
Should my entire wrist (horizontally) be touching the mousepad? Right now I only have the far right side of my wrist touching
Been using it for the past week and it works for me so far. Usually 3 days in a row of high sens gaming fucks my wrist up, but I’ve survived till now using it. Specially since I’m not pivoting with my wrist as much as when I’m not using it.
Something to note is since it’s on your palm, it’s difficult to palm/claw grip. In my experience.
sounds good my fingertip grip is really good
I have the same exact thing as this guy
my wrist keeps like stuttering or shaking whenever i move it to the left or right
i can barely track because of this
Also is aiming the same?? Like is it better worse or the same
Im def trying it out if its the same cause ive been having fatigue on my hand and idk maybe it could help lmk
for 130cm/360°+ maybe 😮
This probably varies from person to person. I've seen someone say they aim better, but for me it's roughly the same.
Bet I just bought it on amazon coming in next week
Hi guys quick question : Have you ever experienced some sort of eye fatigue? I've been aim training for about 3-4 days and I've felt my left eye kinda "tired". any tips? Note: I wear glasses but they are medicated to "rest" my eyes as I'm using a pc or stuff like that.
how would you describe the fatigue? I know my eyes sometimes stop focusing, and I get double vision when reading text after staring at a screen for 4+ hours
Hand stops getting blood when playing FPS and trying to aim
I've always been nervous when playing OW2, but thankfully i recently started doing ok in Quickplay and it shows, consistently popping off.
But in Ranked (Which i just started playing a lot of) after 10/20 seconds of the match my hand is already freezing cold. I also almost stop breathing when playing, so much so that i need to take big breaths every death or almost any downtime. My arm also gets extremely stiff while playing, and it affects my hand aswell of course.
All to ask, are there some good practices i should start to think about when playing to help me loosen up and especially have a normal breathing during my games? I've been trying, breathing and focussing. But nothing helps, and i can't be consistent because i'm too focussed on the game to keep in mind everything that i need to do to be as relaxed as possible.
i stopped taking my ADHD medication because of side effects (heart issues). trying to manage my symptoms without medicine is challenging.
i am struggling with executive function, i want to play games but can’t bring myself to do anything but sit in my chair and stare at my home screen sometimes.
when i play i close everything except for the game and spotify. i listen to relaxing music quietly which helps. still sometimes find myself zoning out, tabbing out frequently for no reason, staring off into space, etc.
any advice is appreciated. i feel sad that i can’t do things that i enjoy anymore.
For a long kovaaks season how often do you guys recommend stretching the wrist? after every playlist? Every scenario? Or only when feeling like it? Thanks
A playlist lasts 1 hour usually
And I like to play 3 of them
My left eye feels so numb sometimes... like It's stunned or something.
sadly nobody here even tries to help so i'll do. I've been the same and still am for some part but this behavior is obviously unconscious so consciously working on it and implementing easy meditation fixes it by a lot. if you're also an extreme perfectionist like me ect. then you will have to work on your whole mental alltogether, this ofc isn't a fast process if you don't give it a lot of attention.
every hour should be enough
drink a lot of coffee and start nofap if you aren't on it already. Workout as much as possible at home and instead of listening to calming music try the opposite. Also find out your perfect waking time. Avoid seeing bright lights after 10pm and go outside in your first hour of waking up for atleast 10m. Your testosterone could also play a huge factor so besides abstaining from sexual stuff you should focus on healthy dieting.
try coldwater exposure daily for atleast 30s, also applying it to your eye frequently should help.
probably muscle tensing or fatigue. your whole arm could play into this, whatever makes you nervous or stressed, should be eliminated quickly, also dont apply a lot of pressure to your mouse, do stretches and exercise to see if it's your nervous system etc.
Thanks sir, will do!
Is there a resource on nofap? 😅
thanks sir!
if you mean guidance by that, yeah, there's a reddit for it and i also offer advice in my streams if asked for, don't watch any mainstream redpillers like for ex. hamzha though
you don't have to thank me
honestly what i most recommend is practicing mindfulness
you will reach everything that comes next by yourself if you have the willpower to do so
I see we have some warmup for the wrist but for arm aiming, should we do a bit of arm warmup as well?
Yeah, thanks 👍
Went back and added some things
Ok so I have been in a very similar predicament as u other than it was not by decision. I was without it for a month and it was fucking hell at first, I know. It was impossible to focus because there is so much shit going on. After some time passed I got used to the feeling of not having to rely on a pill to focus. When I had got back on it, I didn't notice too much of a difference other than I was more calm and relaxed.
The thing with ADHD is that if something new and exciting comes to mind, you are going to ditch ur interests in ur current task and do the more "exciting" task. This is pretty much procrastination at its finest. The ted talk on procrastination explains this very well and can be tied to ADHD
Now I have some suggestions that you could try that may help u break into flow state:
- Put down the phone, they are very distracting and its easy to get lost
- Put on some music, this is a great way to flush out any background noise that may seep through. Just dont get too comfortable with it or u will pretty much play to the music.
- Take control, literally say fuck it im getting up and im doing this. This is very effective when getting up for school
- disable ur windows key (for tabbing), u dont need to tab out if u playing
As for staring into space, im gonna assume that u have probably had this happen a few times:
Its 1 am, u have ur phone down and just lay down and stare up into the ceiling. To you it feels like a few seconds just passed, but actually it was way longer than that. It is now 4 am in the morning and u are wondering what the fuck happened. That is really hard to deal with and I still have that even on meds.
hi! Any tips to warm your hand efficiently?
Bro sometimes when I’m playing like every 30 minutes my wrist just tenses up for like 1 minute and 30 seconds then goes back to normal any1 know why?
I really love this channel so much so many great tips
thanks! 😄
Holy... i could FINALLY fix my shoulder issues i got when doing my Aimtraining / Gamingsessions for a longer period. I tought i just did too much of it, but it was a reasonable amount, nothing extraordinary.
I already tought my shoulder is just fkd up and nothing i can do about. It even prevented me from going to Gym, because how should i lift when my right shoulder hurts that much.
Well, turned out, it was a smol, but obviously important Posture issue. A fkn Monitor-Arm for 60 bucks was the solution. So i got more space for my mousepad and can now finally place my whole arm on the desk, which i couldnt before. This put me in a posture where i had to have my shoulder in a weird, moved in position.
It wasnt uncomfortable and didnt feel wrong, but obviously it was.
I even bought a new height-adjustable desk, as i first tought mine is a bit too high, turns out it wasnt...
Idk why it took me so long to find that out... 😩
Moral of the Story: If you start having pains from Gaming/Aimtraining. Look at it closely, and find solutions! It is important!
(I just tought i share this story because im very happy about it, and secondly, it might help someone else who gets shoulder/arm pains from gaming)
Idk why, but do micro pauses maybe? Means, after a scenario, just relax your arm/shoulder/wrist/fingers, strech them a bit and go on. Just a few secs of relaxing might fix that.
Not sure if this belongs here, but I have a concern/question regarding my Pinky finger on my keyboard. Whenever I need to hold shift (to walk/run depending on the game) sometimes it'll start shaking or twitching pretty seriously. Is this an issue with my keyboard positioning or something potentially health related?
it might be because you're not used to using it? If its a new issue I dont know...
I remember my pinkies feeling weak when I started using both of them more often in touch typing
They got better over time and now there's no problem
It could very well just be that they're not used to being used in the way you're using them, and that unnatural movment/stretch is straining them
like building any muscle it should get better over time. However, its entirely different if it actually starts hurting while you're doing that
then its probably a different problem all together or you're pushing your pinky way too far
I don't blame anyone no worries, it's not their job to help me, they are offering me help and i can't say anything against whoever is willing to help
Having said that, thank you for the info, but i still don't know how to do that, i just can't stop being nervous.
Especially now, the day after this message, i started SUCKING, like i'm consistently shaking and i can't find a comfortable way of placing my hand on the mouse or the arm on the desk...
The more i play the more i get worse at this point
should i be worried if i feel a pop in my wrist while moving left doing wrist smoothness. its not painful, its like sometimes when i am moving left i feel minor tension buildup in my wrist during the motion, then i feel a slight pop and the tension is relieved
this hasnt happened before today
Probably not used to it, that happened to me after I swapped my grip.
I would do breathing exercises between scenarios, stretching effectively, proper relaxation techniques.
recently I've started to notice a sharp pain in my shoulder while playing should I consider stretching before playing?
Either a RSI or improper posture.
I can play val for like 6+ hours with no shoulder pain its only like fatigue afterwards but its never to the point were the pain makes it so i cant play
I'm thinking it posture
because when i sit with proper posture while kvking i feel 0 pain or discomfort
I had that a while back when I was new, my shoulders was scrunched up, it would cause pain in the right, and numbness in my left then down my left shoulder to my fingertips.
oh ok alright I'm not experiencing any of that but ill still consider ggoing
Yet, It took me a bit of time to develop it, it still happens if I forget posture.
alright well im going to game for the rest of the day ill see how i feel afterwards
Okay, to make sure you don't scrunch, I'd extend your arm down your pad more if you have more pad space.
alright thank you ill let you know how it goes
Np, ttyl
Anyone know how to fix feeling tired all the godamn time
And how to fix blurry vision from gaming
is carpal tunnel syndrome unavoidable?
I mean if we do not get it from using mouse, we also get it from other activities like typing keyboard, driving, sewing, drawing...?
you can get it from all sorts of actions like that yes but isn't genetics a large component in avoiding it? the anatomy in your wrist bones, how much room there is for the tendons and nerves to glide around without getting pinched etc. maybe ergonomics, some stretching and recovery methods can help to avoid it. or you can just not be anatomically inclined to get issues like that. just thoughts I'm not a doctor
i have usually 2-3 coffees a day and a coke
and like a sour patch kids now and then
idk probs im 19 and fairly slim i kinda just eat whatever
Thanks for the well thoughts bro, I will look into some stretching methods and recovery to help avoid it.
Do you have enough sleep, at least 7~8 hours?
Hi guys. I'm going to hit the gym and I wanted to know if this will improve my performance a little or significantly
Thankss for the reply
Ranges from 4-9
this is my alt account so from gaming all day yesterday i felt 0 pain afterwards but today i woke up with pain in the shoulder, could it just be my bed is shit and i sleep on the side that hurts?
I am felling suicidal today, dont know why. If i play like this there is a chance of me losing aiming skills?
I'm left-handed, today I did a test with my left hand, and excluding the embarrassing movement... my tracing was so perfect that it has never been so on the right. I noticed that with the left my use of shoulders is almost off, so I can remain stable.. instead on the right for certain movements I use the shoulder, as if somehow I don't feel my arm. good ways to train the factor of not stiffening/using the shoulder? i also bought back armor but it doesn't seem to work much. I would like to know an answer, I loved the tracking so much that I would like to reproduce it like this also on the right without shaky (due to this cause)
you need to find out why. and focus on that instead of aiming.
put music on and just auto pilot aim train
I guess underperformance in aim training really makes me depressed like getting low scores. I know that learning curve is different for each person. But I really overthinking it.
i have a thing where i stretch my arms every like 1 5 seconds and ive died many times bc of it do u guys know how i can not do it?
how can i improve posture?
nah man, keep grinding for that god aim
unless ur trying to go pro and have no other option, ur aim training scores do not matter and u should not really care if they're lower.
What works best for me is to take a short 2 - 3 minute break, relax my muscles (this is important), look over what mistakes I've been doing, and retry when I'm in a calmer state, refreshed
If you tense up / strain your muscles (like your shoulder muscles) for a long time when you're playing, you'll see a decrease in quality
also your muscles will begin to hurt
?
Yes. My goal is to be a pro with really good aim
oh ok thanks for the tip!
Ok maybe I know why I recently started playing like shit.
Came to the realization now that I am also nervous for a task that shouldn't be bad, and I'm talking about going to sleep. I literally feel nervous for going to sleep
Anyone got a magic pill that can fix me? =(
I guess I'll just have to improve myself before going back to being as good, if not better, as I was before
The way you're doing it is toxic to you. Are you relying on being a pro for money and being able to pay bills and everything?
my wrist hurts, especially when aiming vertically is there a cause/fix for this?
Not for money. I love games.
You should realize they don't matter, and you becoming pro would either make no or very little difference in this world. Your results in a game shouldn't be making you suicidal or having any huge effect on you.
I have this problem since is was younger. Trying to solve this with a therapist
Good luck!
im looking into doing wrist stretching through the pdf in pins, and I feel like some of them feel very hard to do, especially the prayer stretch, cause the lower half of my wrist feels very tight if I put my fingers together should I be worried or is it normal at firstß
its mainly my fingers that are the issue I think?
Thanks!
would me being underweight effect my aiming?
My wrists are very slim and bony which is why I'm worried
i have this thing called Voluntary dislocation
and when i mostly flick left i can feel as if my shoulder joint's about to pop out
not sure if my left flicking needs more work or this actually is playing a part in why my left flicking sucks ass
Why am I always tired? I sleep 8 hours every night and still feel tired especially wintertime when it's cold and dark outside.
Nutrition, exercise and being exposed to sunlight? Circadian rhythm?
lack of vitamin d is one of many things that can make you feel tired. and should 8 hours be enough for you or do you need an alarm to wake you up?
I need an alarm to wake up. I sleep more on the weekends.
what should i do if i kinda have a tingling sensation in my wrist happens after playing games for a while, i've never experienced wrist pain before though
can doing stretches and wrist exercises alone get rid of this? or is it a sign i should play less
I feel a lot of strain in my right shoulder while playing, mostly and like I can't relax while playing. with the left I feel relaxed, but I guess because I'm left-handed.
anyone know how to fix blurry vision from computer
prob means your bloodflow is being restricted somehow, could just have tight forearms or it could be a grip/posture issue
Should I get a new chair? I feel like my current one is forcing me into bad posture by it's shape.
people underestimate chairs imo if you cwn afoord it i would get a better one asap
Idk where to get one since I have a quality chair but the ergonomics aren't right for me. I can't sit in a cheap feeling ikea chair.
I sit in this and once i went to Ikea store and i tried some cheaper sub $200 chair and they felt amazing
is caffiene a useful substance to take or should I cut it out completely for optimal performance?
i have the same question
acute caff intake has pretty substantial ergogenic benefits, habitual intake still seems to have ergogenic benefits beyond baseline performance
so it’s good
@dusty frigate Reply to what you said in #general , yes, you can, but make sure to be healthy with it.
A candy only diet may decrease your weight but it's really really horrible for your health
I wouldn't suggest it...
any thoracic scoliosis people getting extreme discomfort from arm aiming? Thinking i might have to go back to wrist dominant aiming since im just limited to how much i can improve on arm dominant aiming
It is probably important to note that for all of its benefits, caffeine is also linked with many negative effects in both long term and short term, such as high blood pressure, hypertension, and raised cholesterol.
Additionally, in the higher concentrations that are becoming all too common, things like shaking and acute coronary events are much more normal. A good review to read through is 10.1016/j.pharmthera.2008.10.006
(I'll also @atomic moss & @cerulean terrace)
👍
I can't take caffeine because of depressive remedies, too. Which brings me to a question that I'm always sleepy about because of these remedies. I'm going to see if the academy can work this out.
howtofixdryeyessoicanplaywithoutblinkingevery150msandfeelbad
Me too i always felt tired and now i swap junk food with healty food (dried fruit , vegetables fruit ) cofee early morning and fitness, i feel much better but i would like to improve even more
Either build a habit of always blinking and never letting them dry in the first place, or get some eye drops. They're pretty easy to find and are great for any kind of irritation.
my brain can't do it, it's always stuck in this fear of failing and fear of not understanding suddenly I no longer pay attention to the hygiene of life.
I don't know it really improve my level
wdym by "level"?
near the inner elbow there’s been a feeling of tightness and soreness, is this bad?
It could be, but it's far more likely that it's just a temporary thing. Let it rest for a day or two, and if it's still there maybe come back :)
i am too depressed to play but do not want to lose the consistency
not play for a day will impact on my perfomance?
I do them a lot, what's up?
Taking rest days can actually improve your performance over the long term, don't be afraid to take them. However, this isn't health-specific, so maybe take similar inquiries to #advice
its - outside and when water of those temps touches me it starts to hurt on areas of my stomach
idk of its because i got low bodyfat % or what
i mean its bearable but ive never felt that
What kind of pain is it, and is it internal, or more external?
idk of its even pain but on skin nothing inside of me
prob cuz ive never done cold showers when outside temps are below 0c
i guess ill get used to it
Well, near-freezing water does tend to be pretty unbearable for longer duration, since the stinging definitely gets pretty bad. You get used to it to an extent, but I also kind of just enjoy the sensation, and you might too :)
YES STINGING thats the word ive been looking for
Yep, that's totally normal.
thanks
im actually using eye drops for 2 days, tmrw 3, no effects
Are your eyes like this all the time, or only when gaming/on screens
Thanks for the tip and sorry for the wrong channel
is it normal to have songs in the background of my dreams
all time
😭
I'd recommend to stick with the eye drops for a little longer, and if it still continues to be an outstanding issue, maybe go talk to a doctor. There's a possibility that it's an infection, although I can't say more since I'm not very educated on this specific area.
Wdym ?
"I don't know it really improve my level"
Level at what? Game, sport, mentality, etc?
All
when is the best time to aim train ? i have to wake up at 7 30 go to gym and then come back at like 10-10:30 and i can aim train for around 1hr then i go to school and come back and i can aim train for a pretty long time but the thing is when i come home im very tired. So is it better to train more late before i sleep but while being tired or for 1hr after gym
oh tysm!! is gym an important factor like in the good way or should i go to gym later in the nicht
night
I’m new to mnk how can I stop my wrist and arms from hurting while I’m playing?
I can't
It's periodical
Are there any breathing exercise that helps you keep things relaxed?
Maybe i just need to do a 30 mins warmup before starting to play to then know how to aim in game and therefore keep my composure through the game
Also, i don't understand how you guys keep the wrist attached to the desk, i can't control minor adjustment because of it
Just a heads up, nobody's circadian rhythm is the same. Disruption of a natural circadian rhythm is linked with all kinds of negative effects, all the way to cancer (although obviously that's in extreme scenarios). A recent paper on this can be found over at: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8063933/
@echo bolt , I would recommend moving the gym into the evening if possible, and replacing that morning time with your aim training/gaming. I don't know how much free time you have in the evenings, but if possible, plan to end your workout ~1hr prior to going to bed, as it gives the endorphins enough time to wear off, and the physical fatigue to set in for an easier sleep :)
(Edit: In case you were wondering, no, exercising while a little bit tired won't impact your overall performance. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2657963/)
I don't know what kind of pain specifically you're referring to, but if it's just a general tiredness/soreness/tightness, perhaps the stretches listed here could help: https://bit.ly/wristandpostureguide
im back and good
no eye pain
no dry eye
LESGOOOOOOOOO
That's great to hear!
yesterday i was in my chair like the physically the most tired i’ve ever been then i’m like ok i’m going to sleep then i go into my bed and i can’t sleep at all
like i did a 10k run
exhausted when i came home
woke up at 6:30am
Nah man
Help
Some good breathing exercises. I can't keep playing like this
I NEVER get comfortable, even after 40 games in a row
I sweat every game, i tense up like a piece of steel, i even start shaking
I fucking can't
Here's a short list that might help you out:
- 4-7-8
- Breath counting (reset after every 5 breaths)
- Belly breathing
- Box breathing
- Muscle tension/relaxation cycle
Lots of these are already used in high-stress environments. For example, box breathing is used by navy seals.
Trying to do these breathing exercises, i get even more out of breath than before
whats the best monitor distance for fps games(valorant).? I want the healthiest one.
I find that pressing my nose against my crosshair as much as humanly possible works best for me, and is in fact, the healthiest
It's not ironic btw, i have tried it before, and after a week of trying it, i became one with my monitor. You can't see better than that
idk my posture was so bad whenever i play i put my shoulder up every time and it hurts after 1-2 hours any suggestion?
fix your posture and setup? not much else to suggest
and if you are fully sedentary then exercise
Box breathing, diaphragmic breathing and practice.
2x the monitor size
How long have you used it? How aggressive is your claw grip? And how often do you eat and drink?
Send them in here
I'm stressed out with my hand cause it always sweats again when I'm training aim or playing any fps games. What I need to do?
Oki thanks!!
i play for 1 hour and my eyes starting to burn... even with eyedrops. i might just quit its so bad -.-
its just too annoying 😭
my thumb hurts a lot, and i didnt even did 2 hours of training
Blue light? Brightness?
Are you talking about aim training or weight lifting? If it's aim training, are you pinching your mouse? If so, how tightly?
It’s eversince I got my new glasses a couple months ago.. It got blue light filter in it.. I play full brightness.. my eyes are just feeling garbage since then ..
Idk the doctor checks my eyes says it’s just dry eyes aswell
Full brightness? Jeez.
yea
I would recommend lowering your brightness, no one can or should be able to handle max brightness. (depends on monitor really.)
would advise a lot of protein and caffeine. Workout should be specified on one area of body. Do lots of cardio and consider day fasting and only eating at night if u want to lose weight quick.
shaky wrist when doing an external rotation no pain whats going on
Do you have a good diet? Do you eat healthy, drink healthy amounts of water? Have you ever injured your wrist? Are you tense or relaxed? How tired are you, are you playing on a high sens?
diet fine drink 3L of water a day I have a bad shoulder injury usually in between tense and relaxed, not that tired and play low sens
I would check the recommended brightness amount in your games of choice, most likely in the graphic settings >brightness.
It might be the shoulder injury, do you know what was injured?
supraspinatus muscle
Did you tear the muscle?
no
i have tendonitis
it didnt tear
but im not sure how the shoulder would be affecting my wrist
and its worse when i move to the right with my hand and barely there when i move left
I'm not a health specialist, but from the amount that I've looked up the supraspinatus muscle, it seems to form a part of the rotator cuff.
yea it does
I would ask some people in here who specialize or have better knowledge about the body.
Ok ty
Two things I saw during my search.
How long has this been going on for?
a long time
i have kind of just regained full range of motion recently after damaging the shoulder in april
but i always thought the wrist issue was connected to the shoulder issue
just dawned on my today it could be a separate issue
it likely is. especially if the injury only recently healed, you could expect some level of weakness. did you do any pt after the injury?
Yea on and off, im still in a physio program as of today
and this is correct. this is why I believe that they're likely linked.
it might be worthwhile to bring it up with your therapist for their opinion, as they can probably see what's going on a lot more accurately.
I emailed them today and they gave me some exercises and said "it is to do with lack of strength through the wrist"
yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking. go through the exercises, do them for a while, and little by little, you'll notice the tremors start to subside
not much else you can do, I suppose
Are you a student or a physio yourself?
planning to study medicine, currently finishing school but have already done some first aid and external courses haha
oh i see
Its hard to know if just strengthening your tendon and wrist again will bring about the fine motor control i used to have
have you any thoughts on that?
I can't speak for the details, but I think that there's a possibility that the level of control you had might not ever fully come back. Assuming that you're on the younger side, it's more rare for tendinopathy to emerge at this age, which hints to me that it might be a little bit more severe.
However, I don't know too much about long-term recovery, so I guess I'm not the best person to ask
good to hear that there's an actual professional who can help out more than I can :)
you mean my pt?
yep
She helps as much as she can but i dont think many people in physio understand gaming and the movement involved that well
in that regards, I get it. If it's any help, I would recommend trying a higher sens and getting used to it. It'll mean that you're doing less rotation overall, which might help with the tremors.
there is even less margin for error when playing a high sens, so if i'm shaking with my wrist movements it would probably be worse imo
there is that too.
Give it a try though, see what it's like. Maybe try finding a way to warm up your arm such as a hot water bottle, which might loosen things up for a little.
although obviously your shaking is more from weakness than tension, it might still help
I'll give it a try, thanks
hope it gets better soon!
Hello, I've a problem I used to put my wrist only on the table and aim but my wrist started hurting so right now I put my whole hand on the table but because right now I move my hand a lot my shoulder started to hurt, Is that normal?
Yeah, for that type of issue, that would work; wouldn't it also work if he basically uses his wrist as little as possible, while would kinda require the lower side which would naturally cause more arm movements? He could also try adding fingertip movements, again, not sure whether that would be affected by his wrist issues.
(All of the help I try and provide is what I know from gaming, and or from my research I conduct on several Google sites, that seem stable and not suspicious. Which explains my lack of health knowledge, I merely know basic terms like forearm, arm, wrist, etc. Not advanced terms that this channel usually receives, so I try to research and put together the pieces to what it could affect and etc.)
Tips on feeling a little burn on right bicep when flicking a shit ton??
Like aint no way 💀
not sure what response ur expectin
if ur using a muscle a lot ur probably goig to feel it
when i do the warmup routine, my wrist doesnt hurt but my bicep does, is there something im doing wrong?
Try to make it so it matches the recommended filters in your games in the brightness configuration settings.
my right (mouse hand) forearm, the area before my elbow, feels really tight and had pain earlier when playing vidya. I usually have it resting on table, but if that's unhealthy I'll just rest the front part of my forearm closer to my wrist instead of my whole arm
any thoughts/advice?
I can send some pictures too if what im saying isn't making sense
this helped alot, im playing 60% montor brightness instead of 100
it seems to be better, im still going to the doctor again and see if its anything bad
so thx!
I would slow down, and talk to a PT if the pain is obviously correlated to using your mouse.
good advice. I’m taking a break today and I can definitely feel some tenderness on the right side of my hand and on that part of forearm. Hoping I can train tomorrow but I’d rather rest a day or two and recover and then get back to it than keep going and risk worse.
The more I rest, the more I think it has to do with overtraining/overuse than posture, but can’t be too sure
Do you lift at all?
Not very recently, it’s been like 5 days and I didn’t go close to failure on my workout last time.
Overall, inconsistently, so I’d say not really.
Sorry for lack of clarity on that answer btw, I didn’t know how to answer that because I started working out again a couple weeks ago, but don’t have a routine for it, so it’s ineffective. I do plan on being consistent and creating/logging though.
Good idea if you are up for it. I was asking because the elbow can also start to hurt if you are training wrong, I would talk to a physical therapist, or your doctor.
Gotcha. I’ll talk to them and see what they think. Thanks for the help 😄
for sure
did u guys feel shaky when u first started? lol
yup, still do just a bit less
might be a dumb question but how can I make sure im sitting on the correct hight? I know I should find something comfortable but everything seems off either too high or too low
Typically the best thing to do is have you legs at about 90 degrees, and your feet resting on the floor.
Your eyes should be in line with the top of your monitor or slightly below
Mine's like normal, 40, 50.
(Tv settings (Yes I know lol), tv brightness, in-game brightness.)
This depends on the size of the book and the orientation of your arm, but if your wrist is digging into the edge of the book, that's very bad. Regardless of circumstances, if you're doing something that is causing wrist pain or malfunction, it's probably not something that you should continue doing.
Is it bad to tighten your muscles constantly while aiming? I usually get very tight on my arm and my wrist. Usually while I am aim training as well. I try train relaxed but I obviously play a lot worse both in game and score wise. I try to play relaxed but if I try to push my scores or go fast I feel my muscles getting really tight on arm and my wrist depending on the scenario. Is this a bad habit to shake or am I overthinking it and good aim requires tightening your muscles?
You want to try to be as relaxed as possible for the best muscle control and stability of you aim visually and physically. IF you ever feel or look jittery while aiming often times it is due to tightness / pressure issues and is due to you pushing to hard on your mouse or over all tensing up in any part of you arm / hand. It is generally agreed upon that tense is bad and you want to conscientiously try to get rid of the habit by thinking about it while aim training and building up the muscle memory to not tense up when in tricky aiming scenarios and in game. There are some top aimmer guides on how to get rid of jitter and watch some of those videos for tips on that as well as on pressure control with you mouse specifically if those videos don't get to the root of your problem.
AS you build up experience you will be able to build up speed without getting too tense. You will get tense at times no matter what because of our physiology as humans but you want to minmize that tenseness as much as possible which at the beginning may slow you down and hinder performance but in the end it will drastlcally improve your scores and performance if performed correctly
Smooth tracking is one of the most important underlying aim mechanics in FPS games, but is also one of the most overlooked since it looks effortless when executed properly. If you want to become a great FPS player you need to learn how to perform smooth tracking properly, and this video gives you all the tools you need to do so.
This continues...
this is a great video for this topic
Thanks, yall are so awesome here!
no problem good luck on your aim / gaming journey
Hey guys I’ve been receiving some uncomfortable feeling and pressure when I push in on this spot I have no wrist pain or arm pain so I’m not thinking it’s how’s I’m sitting but rather how I’m holding the mouse and contact points
Would appreciate some advice
also feels that way under the marked spot as well but same area
Hotrod told me that being fully relaxed idk if this is the same thing as relaxed as possible but he told me being fully relaxed isn't the best thing and having tension is Ok! but I agree with this! As long as you're relaxed you sohuld be good!
Was wondering this too! Anybody know htris?
Yeah I just meant like extremely relaxed is generally good but you can’t actually move your mouse accurately if you are ultra relaxed so that is def true
Agreed!
are black box anti depressants bad for aim training?
you should always keep a relaxed wrist, hand and arm. When you play and when you train
Train with a higher sensitivity, thats what made the most difference for me
Really depends on what effects the medication causes. The reason why some SSRI's have the black box is because of study findings related to suicidal ideation in children.
I don't really have credibility and hotrod most likely knows what he's talking ab, but the best way to build neural recruitment is through full relaxation, that way the muscles in your hand, wrist and arm are all responsive to small movements.
Smaller muscles don't do micro-movements well at all. When you flex or tense your hand, you limit motor recruitment. I can explain it in depth if you want, but being relaxed is the only way more neurons will cause the muscles to contract.
Yes please explain more!
And ya! I agree being Fully relaxed is the best way for Smoothness scenario!
I believe its because tensing or flexing your hand skips the process of recruitment thru repetition. You want your hand to be as controlled as possible in the long run, the only way to improve muscle control in your hand is thru neurophysiological recruitment. As you train, more neurons contract more muscles, which overtime leads to more control
How do I get neurophysiological?
aim training
Hello, I currently have a 1-3-1 grip. My first grip was the 1-2-1 grip. I've been using the 1-3-1 grip for about a year now and I've decided on this grip because I've heard it's better for the wrist its very important for me now I only have the problem that I have wrist pain and I think I know where my pinkie hurts from and I saw in a video of 1hp that you can also get wrist pain from pinkie I think i have to go back to 1-2-1 now my question is this grip isn't good either because as i understood my hand is no longer straight to my arm what should i do now? thanks in advance
i think proper ergonomics, conditioning your arm/wrist and taking rest when its needed plays a bigger role than choosing over those two grips
Hey this probably has been asked like 20 times here already
Just wondering what kind of stretches do you guys do for your wrists? After 200h of Kovaaks I start feeling like my wirsts are slowly getting a bit overstrained and I am not sure what guides to follow online for it to avoid misinformation and potentially unhealthy exercises
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzjOCYkn8mY&t=416s a great video for wrist streches 🙂
I'm back guys with another routine to help keep your guys's wrist and hands healthy. This routine is a little different as it is a FULL injury prevention routine! It involves the following types of exercises:
- Self-Massage
- Stretching
- General Coordination
- Strengthening and Endurance
The purpose of this routine is to keep your wrist/ha...
tyyyy!
My lats hurt, only and only when I am using the mouse
I do not know what to do
Been doing physio for a while and it si not helping
I thought that maybe its my elbow flare angle or height relative to the table(got a crank adjustable table) but its all the same
its the muscle right above my shoulder blades
do know the muscle groups name
i believe its the rhomboid
mine's also tight
i just foam roll/lacrosse ball massage it
not really sure what else to do other than that, gonna try supplementing collagen soon
I do not know how to use the roller, ive had it for a long time
i dont get where the relief comes from
i bet I am usng it wrong
i have don physio
which the most medicine you can get in this scenario
no dice
i am high key jelous of everyone hwo can game for longer than 30 minutes without feeling pain
i have a strong back so it's just tightness for me
strictly on my right side which is my mouse side
same here
it only comes up when gaming, but i literally do not use the mouse the pain kinda fades very slowly
not even gaming rather using the mouse
what kind of chair do you have
curious
i've had chiro sessions but i feel like i'd need to try an actual massage therapist
a
i see
lacrosse ball seems to be the way to get the deepest relief for me but
it's temporary
dead hangs help a little as well
ill look into those, thank you for the pointers
more than 2 months of physio got me
Yo my right shoulder and wrist have some pain and I think I have mild trigger finger now I’m gonna take a full week at least off gaming but does anyone know what like I should do idk
what is it called?
"FlexFit Hyken Mesh Task Chair with Adjustable Arms - Black"
ehm
I been having wrist pain since on saturday I grinded schulte hover for too long without breaks, then went bowling and then messed up when doing pullup like stuff
what is best way to have it recover faster?
I get sting in wrist if I make my hand into a fist
im having dry eyes again 😭
a good way to keep breathing in situations of friction or in some particular areas? my breathing tends to slow down until I barely go into certain things, leading me to stiffen
Weird question but is sleeping on side better or back? I’ve been waking up super tired and lethargic recently (carries throughout the day) and there isn’t really a position that helps me wake up well. What’s a good position to sleep in or something to help me wake up better at least?
Ergonomically speaking I'm pretty sure sleeping on your back is better, however the most important thing is what is most comfortable for you, as you can get different mattress firmnesses, pillow types, etc. to accommodate your preferred sleeping position. For example if you like to sleep on your side, it's recommended to get a body pillow (no not that kind), to put between your legs to help take pressure off of your spine iirc.
As an extra aside: I would consider taking B-Complex vitamin supplements, as a B-Vitamin deficiency is a common cause of sleep problems.
yeah, i'm a life long side-sleeper and without the body pillow my hips and lower back are in agony lol
i've got a 7ft one that can go between my calves/knees/thighs + behind me for back support and it's gr8
hell ye jake
interesting
i only sleep on side but ive never liked having a pillow to cuddle or anything
firm bed + thin pillow for me
Yo guys is it normal for my aim to be really shaky during the morning
if u havent eaten anything then yeh ig
less tension, focus on proper technique rather than aping for score
How do people start eating healthy
I Wanna start eating better food cuz I got hella money
depends on ur goals
calorie deficit or surplus?
tracking macros is important too
get a fitness app (myfitnesspal)
avoid overly processed foods
thats kinda it
eating 'healthy' is super wide in scope and kinda depends on ur goals, but for the average person its mostly just eating unprocessed foods and getting a good variety of stuff in your diet
especially PLANTS
im not anti-animal produce, but diets with a ton of plant intake are almost universally better than everything else
so just make sure ur getting em in
how much does your physical health affect your mental health
As a chronically ill person & someone who was bedridden for 2yr - A LOT. mental health also affects physical health. they both feed off of one another so if you take care of yourself as a whole it helps more than just one or the other
i second this as someone who happily eats meat. get some fresh fruit and veg in your diet, you'll feel so much better in the long run
Avacado brocolli also get ur protien intake up
kale's great for vitamin d, better than milk. for protein, worth having beans, kidney beans or mung beans should suffice and are quite delicious
kale literally doesn't contain vitamin d. it's fat soluble mostly found in animal sources.
ok
thought i heard somewhere kale is better for your bones than milk is and milk being helpful for your bones is something over-reported by the dairy industry
im having a ‘tired’ feeling on my wrist, hands finger but only when I play CS GO, if I play cod or apex it doesn’t make my hands tired
Any ideas?
You should start by combining a plan to eat healthy with a plan for an exercise regimen, even if its committing to like 5 pushups a night.. obv a more significant routine would be optimal but the point is, it's easiest to formulate a nutrition plan to fuel yourself healthily, that way your forcing your body to work it's metabolic engine & can plan out how many carbs/protien/fat to consume each day and shop accordingly.. The short answer tho is buy some fruits n vegetables lol
Maybe it's the more rigid control that's constantly required in a game like cs compared to the shift between casual movement around the map until you get into a fight in cod or apex 🤔
Hmm maybe im tensing too much?
too much to ignore that's for sure
i just got done writing like 12 paragraphs to 8 different people telling me why adderall is unfair in esports when in reality it does absolutely nothing unless you need it
if anyone would like to tell me why it is unfair pls respond id be happy to debate
and no im 17 and am in no health or medical field
What are some exercises I could to do to increase hand and wrist stamina?
how long should be my rest days
resting from what
days are 24 hours whether you rest or not sry
how do i get rid of blurry eyes
get glasses
its justr like as if they r wet , and its either when i wake up or when i played for a long time
so i dont think there is a need for glasses
could be astigmatism, i'd still get an eye exam in your case if you don't already have glasses
Probably should be eye drops or take rests
I have astigmatism kek
same lol
make sure you're well hydrated (is just one thing to check off)
So recently I've been visiting a psychologist on my college campus, and turns out I may more than likely have ADHD + Anxiety. Sometimes I have been able to hyperfocus and absolutely destroy in games of Apex, but more often than not I've also noticed too that sometimes I get rly tense or flustered in common fights, and then have the most unsmooth aim possible
That tenseness applies to me mentally and physically, like I can feel like my aim just worsens
Is this something that I can mitigate or nah?
try playing in a comfortable settings without outside distractions. play some soft music at around 5% volume also helped me with anxiety during games
does scoliosis affect aiming?
i mean idk, maybe? even if it is, letting it discourage u from ur goals is only detrimental, i dont think it affects aiming tho 🙂
short answer, play in a position that is comfortable and works for you. if you have scoliosis there’s only so much you can do to mitigate that. So, the best thing to do is find what position resting your arm/hand on the desk works for you. An aim coach by West Proter, goes on this topic well. You can find his video on his youtube @ West Proter. Hope this helps and keep practicing!

what should i do if after crying my head hurts? i know it might not be related to this and i could narrow it down to a number of factors: sleep deprivation, caffeine withdrawal, screen time, forgetting medication and/or hangover
if wanting to avoid crying because of how it could cause headaches does become a real fear for me, what should i do?
i also want to know if others also experience this
the base of my thumb by the joint has really been hurting lately is there any stretches i can do?
Thanks everyone for the information @pallid mural @silk basin @violet swan
I will try my best
I can't achieve platinum rank in kovaaks because of smoothbot which hurts my wrists severely. what do i do?
try moving your wrist less?
When does it hurt is ig the first step of figuring out the source of the problem
tense up way less buzz
the less u try the better you are at smoothbot
use a normal sens if ur not already
a lot of people with stupid high or stupid low sensitivities have to put a lot of tension on their wrist
My sens is something like 0.17 in the game, im not sure if its stupid high or stupid low but i can't seem to translate it into kovaaks. It feels like nothings truly right for me
what game
roblox sensitivity for arsenal
Aim lab has an option and i set it to 0.15
yhea idk how to convert roblox stuff
you can just measure it physically if youre lazy and want an approximation
Yeah i think the sensitivity converter would be the better otpion
Guys I have a grinding right shoulder idk why and it is affecting my aim cuz when i move my hand a lot it starts to like tense
wanted to ask here
I'm trying to get off of my caffeine dependency
and it's been only two days
but I usually consumed like
80 mg of caffeine a day
but without it I tilt easily and can't focus as much idk
I want to get off of it so
that when i can have it
it can have more benefits
but I think I kinda need it
because I have unmedicated adhd and I've gotten so used to it
it keeps me calmer then when I don't have it
I don’t drink caffeine at all I drink water
Is not drinking caffeine at all a bad thing
80mg is fairly low, i would just keep taking it if you think it legit helps u
anecdotally caff is super useful for me with adhd also
no
stretch upper body + train back side of shoulder + rotator cuff, keep posture good especially back and neck
I did go to chiropractor and he did crack my neck and spine. he recommended that I keep my chest up and my shoulders back I try my best to do that but sometimes i forget so I keep reminding myself
yep, same with all of us
my neck was forward as we speak lol
hmmmmmm idk about that one
its like replacement for back strength but ur back will not get stronger, i think its bad idea
yea
just gotta remind urself and ur back will become stronger with time and it will be easy
try including rotator cuff movements
my chiropractor said i have unstable shoulder and the grinding will go away but it will take longer
and sometimes it stays
he said do stability exercises
those are very good! + rotator cuff
i do them each morning
I have this weight problem at 130 pounds i could do 20 pulls ups clean now at 145 i can do like 9 but it is because after school started i quit doing pull ups idk what is the reason on why i become so bad at pull ups It is my fav exercise
The problem i have is weight gain and loss
last week i was 149 pounds now i am 145 pounds
it keeps changing
oh how tall
i just eat 4 plates of rice and chiken
i go tmy self air fryer
I am 6ft
i got scoliosis
the doctor did tell me that I am growing really fast
I cant bulk now because school is giving me shit food I eat vegetables every day and when i get home i eat some meat or beans with yogurt
I dont count callories either
i just eat lots of food
I did get sick because i ate lots of food 3 weeks ago and i got stomach cramps
they are ass
They giving me shity milk which expires in 2 days
it tastes bitter
When u get like 0-6 in valorant your losing 6 rounds and u want to punch your desk, monitor, just hit something what else can I do that will give me the same feeling as destroying my things for some reason my body/mind resorts to either punching/kicking the desk to continue the game I kind of let this habit grow although i nver destroyed anything fully before.
just do it in your brain over and over until it manifests into reality somehow despite never having physically touched the object violently before. this is how i developed psychokinetic abilities and why my monitor needs an RMA.
Does anyone know how Hypermobility Syndrome would affect aiming? More the tightness/pain than the flexibility.
Does anyone aim worse after the gym
me my aim gets way too flicky and i overflick a lot after gym
it also feels fast
oddly enough mine feels better, even if i did an intense upper body/arm workout that day
although I also dont take any pre-workout or have caffeine ever so that may be a factor that helps (no caffeine jitters)
Cut Sugar my fellow gamers as much as you can, its a posion. https://youtu.be/b2taSMx6394
Is Sugar the New Fat? | Sweet Death: How Sugar Is Making Us Sick | ENDEVR Documentary |
Sugar! What's not to like? It's being touted as highly addictive and the biggest contributor to the current worldwide obesity epidemic. We used to think a high fat diet was to blame so who's the real bad guy? This documentary takes on world-leading scientis...
I've done and my brain said me thank you, i replace sugar stuff with dry fruit
Can the hand get sore after aim training ^^? It's not like it's hurting it's more like fatigue
yes your muscles get tired after any workout
need help with outside distractions + irritability, i was prescribed adderall and i want to go back to it because its incredibly difficult to function without it, but ive been hesitant because of the stigma around it in the gaming community , are there any natural ways to deal with this (adhd)
The stigma is mainly around the ppl who abuse it that don't have ADHD
🥶
W vrt
better reaction time then mine
use adderall, just don’t take more than prescribed
nobody is going to come after you because you take medicine prescribed to you
after a long session maybe, though you are likely fatiguing yourself by tensing too much. if you try to remain relaxed in your hand while aiming, you won’t experience as much fatigue
Does anyone know anything about gains from practicing while using caffeine or taking ADHD meds?
I play way better and focused when I drink caffeine. ADHD meds don't really make a difference besides they give me more patience.
That being said my whole idea is does drinking caffeine or potentially taking my meds on days I am aim training or play ultimately help or hurt my long term improvement? Or could it even potentially help me improve faster?
Weird question, but I thinks its a interesting topic. I will probably try to find more research papers on it because Im sure studies of been done on this concept for competitors taking Adderall or other stimulants.
why did i have an @ in here
Good method or tips to relax shoulder?
I'm getting used to putting my whole arm on the desk, with the old one I put it three quarters and you can already see the benefits on the score, but every time a tense situation occurs, my right shoulder feels stiff, or when I play kovaak
Could be that your desk is too high, and you're subconsciously lifting your shoulder slightly to compensate for this. It could also be that your shoulder is having to work to overcome the friction between your forearm and mousepad/desk.
I have secretlab and recently bought adjustable desk
compared to the old one, he lowered it from 75 cm to 66. and with my feet I touch the ground, I support my whole arm, compared to before I put half, I see improvements because before the elbow went downwards bringing tension, now it happens less only when I get tense..but I always notice this stiffening
maybe more exercises like pull ups maybe help me to develop more shoulder strength?
and maybe avoid this, I don't know
See if this helps:

I was see this video for have same feeling
In that case I would try stretching and shoulder mobility exercises.
I feel a kind of tingling near the neck on the right side of the back, when I do handstand exercises I feel this sensation
is smoking w e e d bad for mouse control development ?
lowers the quality of your sleep which might impact how fast you're able to learn/improve
although probably doesn't matter that much
whats the optimal amount of water intake daily?
drink water with meals and when you're thirsty, not really complicated
how much does it hinder the ability?
if you feel like you're not improving and you're not getting deep sleep, it's the first thing i would cut out
everyone is different
wouldn't recommend any drug is hurtfull for progress in any sport
except for the ones that aren't
i really am not, i think i might have insomnia but i dunno
maybe talk to a doctor, high quality sleep is very important not only for improvement but your overall health
yeah true
any idea why this circle i marked up hurts in my very lower back? every time there’s weight on my right leg and i lift it, it hurts and any time i walk and lift my right leg it hurts there
it’s like a nerve is getting pinched
I do, I'm used to it. If target visibility is really important to you, turn it off, but try to get sleep to make up for long or overnight sessions.

Anyone else experience red/burning eyes after 1-2 hours of playing?
yeah thats probably cos you arent sleeping enough or are not blinking enough
you're straining it too much
how are you supposed to blink when ur supposed to track a bot non stop is a question ive been asking myself for a long time
great point. you dont actually track bots the whole practice session. also its something that comes automatically after you've been practicing
at least for me it has
Same for me idk how to fix
guys i have loved my viper mini for such a long time but its starting to cause some pain in my hand?
i grip it pretty firmly so i think its that so i kinda want to try a mouse for a more relaxed grip
try to lower sens and use more arm instead of only wrist
can try that, im currently on around 30cm/360 so i feel like its already not that high
is it not too small for you?
Yeah thats what it has been feeling like recently
Man im crying on front my pc rn its so frustrating having dry eyes all day for months and i cant get to fix them.. I dont want my biggest enemy to get that shit..
Damn I felt the same thing like 2 weeks ago I don't know why, I whish someone knew, like doctors in Quebec only tell you to take Advil or smth
Any tips for early arthritis in arm? My dr told me to get voltaren but I want a cure bruh
Someone tell me the method
Is advil like paracetamol? Here you just take a paracetamol, or two.
hey ! When I train, my right arm is kinda shaky (my hand to) how can I fix this cus I feel like it's not supposed to happen x)
try to aim slower and work on your smoothness, don’t pursue high scores in scenarios at this moment
shakiness also can be related to stress
Ty 😄
I feel it but not on screen, like I feel my arm shaking but on screen it's not showing + it's only on right side ( when I track a target going from left to right)
it's kinda weird
try to hold your mouse more relaxed next time when u track a target to prevent tension
I recorded my hand I looked it's almost invisible
yeah that's what I'm thinking 😄
you will probably get worsen scores at first, but it’s bad habit to hold ur mouse that hard
yeah ok ok I'll try this ty for informations 🙂
Heya,
2 years ago i have a dequervain tendonitis, i rest about 6 months, and everything feel better after time, i was only playing slow game like CSGO / Apex using low sens ( 43 cm up to 50 with the whole arm on the table with a 90 ° angle) for using mostly my arm and by the way reducing the amount of movement of my wrist.
Today i decide to start battlefield 4 again, and cuz the game is fast, i raise up my sens up to ~ 40 / 35 cm.
After an hour, i feel some numbness and the same feeling that i had 2 years ago > like a big tension in the base of the thumb, also i precise that i hold my mouse with almost no pressure at all on the grip, ( starlight 12 S > 43 gr on the weight and my hand is 17.2 x 9.2 cm)
I also have recently a shoulder pain located at the base of my neck on the top of the right shoulder blade (arm that uses the mouse) very soft but have some " burning " sensation
WTF just happen ? not a pain for about 1 year, everything was alright, after that i come back with low sens, everything is fine, but as soon i switch to some " medium / hight sens " My Thumb just say " no ".
Does someone have an idea ? And by the way if yes, do you have some advices / exercises ?
I have this problem as well "I also have recently a shoulder pain located at the base of my neck on the top of the right shoulder blade (arm that uses the mouse) very soft but have some " burning " sensation"
@violet swan and what happen ?
I woke up with fairly bad wrist pain in my right wrist along with it and my shoulder being fairly tight. I've been doing some stretches and light mobility work and the pain does seem to be alleviating. Problem is I want/need to get back on the grind. Is this something that I need to wait out the pain on or can I just push through it? (for some context my desk is currently too high so my ergonomics are a bit bad and as a result I am generally used to playing with some pain from time to time but this is worse than usual.)
@mental tulip place something under your feet for elevate them and raise up your chair
cant theres a low drawer that blocks my legs that cant be removed 🤪 I'm getting a new desk soon but worried about wrist atm.
first, do you have a good chair ?
it's relatively solid but the desk I'm getting can be used as a standing desk as well which I'm going to test for a bit
I've seen dafran doing it for a bit and he seems to like it
if you have doubt like myself about what you really have, the best thing to do, is to stop everything until you figure what is bad / resolve the problem
not really an option but the massage gun is working nicely appreciate the advice.
K it got worse going to doc loool
Just a tip that has helped me for anxiety and anxiousness, taking a vitamin B complex and taking fish oil pills has really regulated my mood and become less stressed over all.
See doc today, some mesotherapy for help the healing process, but overall, one ultimate advice : Resting
alright so I'm going to start taking bupropion tomorrow and I'm alittle worried about how it might affect me while playing has anyone else used bupropion and had a good experience with it?
shouldnt really do anything unless youre drowsy
my tail bone hurts
It tends to cause the opposite
Agitation, headaches, insomnia
Did you find anything that helps w this? Experiencing the same unfortunately, took a day off aim training and it's still quite sore :/
I started doing stretches from #resources before playing, and every 30 minutes - to an hour, my thumb barely hurts anymore^^
Take breaks and ^. Take 1-2 days to rest. Really helps you and builds motivation.
Thanks I'll check them out 🙂
^^
does anyone have any experience with wrist supports like the carpio 2.0 or G2.0
I have the G2.0! I really, really like it
ive been using it off and on, but i aim worse with it and feel like even though my wrist feels better, my arm tenses more to get the stability you're losing from not having your palm directly on the mousepad. maybe i just need to get used to it
Wasn’t there a section somewhere here about nootropics?
on boardzy discord I think
chicken nugget
check your posture, make sure neck and upper back are in good position at all times, stretch them often
exercise your whole upper body consistently, mainly back side including rotator cuff muscles
stretch pecs and biceps, front neck especially
does anyone actually stretch their fingers and wrists?
if you do lmk what stretches i should do
https://www.maxgaming.fi/fi/muut-tarvikkeet-4/finger-trainer-silikonista-ranne-grip-trainer-4kg
for wrist just move then around on purpose like side to side up and down and you can use light weights as long as there's no pain.
tysm
you guys got any good eye exercises? During tac fps games, there are times where I can't focus my eyes on the enemies movement, etc. Basically I'm just using my eyes are really lazy and I'm only using my periphal vision to look at enemies and not intentionally focusing at them.
when i kovaak this specific part of my hand hurts is there any stretches or strengthen i could do to not feel pain in this area
Here's my recommendation -
Go to this link: https://www.testufo.com/framerates-versus#photo=alien-invasion.png&pps=2880&framepacingerror=0&direction=bounce&framerate=144&compare=2&showfps=0
What you are going to do here is constantly focus on and then track, as it moves across the screen, a UFO (little alien guy). Every time the UFO you're tracking leaves the screen, visually acquire and focus on a new one as quickly as possible, then track it, and so on and so forth. There are some settings you will want to tweak. The "direction" field should be set to bounce, leave that as is. Set the frame rate to whatever the refresh rate of your monitor is. Then take note of the "Speed" field. You are going to set this to a speed that is challenging yet manageable for you visually. As you get better and better at this, you can keep increasing the speed. Due note that at higher speeds the icons will blur when you're tracking them, which doesn't have anything to do with your vision, but rather your monitor's ability to reduce motion blur.
Also play more tracking scenarios.
i am only posting this msg because i want to remind everybody how important 7-8h of quality sleep a night are (regarding your health and your improvement in aimtraining)
1hr is optimal
Blend your food to minimize time spent eating
Naked everywhere
And get a catheter so you don't have to pee
When should i start to check if im hard of hearing?
ive been struggling to hear audio directionality since forever, and honestly the older i am the worse it becomes now.
And this isnt just in games with bad audio, i even struggle to hear my mum from across the room.
Stop using earphones r headset for some time and watch the difference
Same
I get this quite often, a thing that i've found useful is using ear drops to help with any wax build up and getting regular health check ups (Turns out my ears were really inflamed and irritated swollen on the inside that made it quite hard to hear)
replying to this because i'm starting to have the same problem and it's affecting my ability to improve too
i think a way to prevent it is to not lean too far forward so you're not straining your arm unnecessarily but i'm not sure how to ease the pain beyond a few simple stretches and taking breaks
Relax and play around with your sensitivity
hello everyone, it’s interesting to know if someone has encountered a problem when your biceps tense up while you aiming and is it bad? (how to fix it)
Any recommendations for recipes that are low carb other than just salads? May also want to explore vegan recipes as someone who isn't vegan, but I need something low carb in that direction too.
I am experiencing a lot of pain in my outer right forearm, only when using a mouse recently. I am worried it is an RSI. I am unable to do wrist stretches due to medical issues that i can disclose if anyone can offer me some advice. I am not sure what to do about it to be honest
ah that sucks, sorry to hear that. you probably try and see a doctor if it persists. sometimes i have pains but they go after a short period and don’t tend to come back.
Yeah I’m fucking scared man, FPS games are such a passion of mine
go see a doctor, better than leaving it, it could make it worse if you don’t get it checked out by a professional
yo any hand excercies, my hand kinda hurts near the underside elbow area, i dont want to develop any problems since i write with that hend, please help

Carbs get unjustly villafied a lot
Thanks!!
Of course! also do not stretch before gameplay as it will most likely have negative effects. Stretching should only be used after gameplay to cooldown, reduce recovery time and muscle soreness, preventing further injuries.
gotchu
Do you have any evidence of this being the case?
Because I find it somewhat hard to believe that one should not stretch/warm-up beforehand
any performance loss is going to be offset by the longevity of your gaming career. dynamic stretching at any point is not going to be a detriment
Not really valokz
btw. caffeine is good for gaming and sport if you dont get it too much
if i eat blueberries will i become tenz
Yes
Cancel that and get gorilla mind respawn if you can
Sure
I just recently moved to doing the Gold fundamentals and I noticed my eyes are straining a lot more than previous. Any advice for eye strain?
actually the same thing happened to me, but it went away as I used to new scenarios
customizing your graybox to darker color might help you if you haven't already
also I didn't blink much when I'm playing tracking scenarios so I had to blink intentionally
I tried a lot but at the end of day, I had to close my eyes to take a rest and strain gone, at least for now
glad i'm not the only one, thank you
Any way for me to run on just 5 hours sleep?
no that's illegal
Not healthily
Got my arm brace for my lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), hopefully I can play Valorant again soon :)
Wish I felt like I had something to look forward to but sometimes I don't and that makes me cry, even when I had full time work
Part of why I felt that way was not having enough time outside of work
i will be considering talking to someone tomorrow about this, i have to anyway because of a medication review
Wrist feels warm on the inside
and it kinda hurts?
its not like pain pain but idk how to explain it
i only aim train for like 35 minutes
but i do play for a long time
Takes one afternoon for me
sounds like therapy time for you sir
How’d you get it?
Well I assume repeated stress of using my mouse a ton
Do you stretch?
Anyone else suffer from “consistent inconsistency”? I recently discovered I may have ADHD so idk if it’s related to this, but more often than not I find myself struggling to rank up from gold to plat just because I’m making super simple mistakes at times, or even whiffing simple shots altogether. Even outside of games, I have a hard time focusing on studying and have genuinely been hard on myself bc of this “consistent inconsistency”
It’s been hard for me to be kind to myself in regards to this, bc even though I know I can do rly well, but struggle to do so. Hell, ranking up to Plat in Apex used to be relatively easy for me but now I feel like I significantly struggle
so recently out of the random I got like kinda consistent tingling in my fingers and I thought it was carpal tunnel possibly but I had it in like all fingers and the back of my hand and like palm side farthest from my thumb felt like it burned and this was after I decided to wear this random wrist brace I found in my house because my wrist felt alittle weak after grind hard on val so I thought it might of helped but it seems like the opposite happened and I took a 2 day break after it happened and it doesn’t feel as bad randomly I do feel a tingly sensation through hand but it isn’t like painful or numb just like randomly happens and it seems like my grip strength is still stronger than my other hand I’m just really confused on what I should do
I’m going to get it checked out in the next few days I just don’t know if I should continue resting or am I fine to play
Hi, Ive been doing the bronze aim routine for 3 days now and ive started getting some shoulder pain, is there anything to help fix this
Aim with your forearm
Not your shoulder
Arm aiming generally doesn't use the full arm
95% of stretches are ineffective due to the fact I have hypermobile elbows, which causes them to hyperextend before my muscles stretch.
you might be too low/high compared to your mouse
i believe it would be too high
Is there any resource for isolation exercises in the gym? Ive been lifting for a decade, and from all those push pull workouts I noticed I feel very stable with vertical aiming but horizontally I'm shaky. I started cable internal/external shoulder rotations, but I can't really think of anything else.
im really sorry for the late response, but when do you recommend doing these exercises? Before playing games, before bed, after waking up,etc
Before aim training/playing.
@rugged juniper
is there an easy way to tell if my chair or table is too high or low easily ? i've been getting shoulder pains recently and was thinking of changing things about setup
Hey guys
I always used 1-3-1 grips with my mice
Lately i've been having a lot of pain on my pinky, since i work full time at home and play 2 hours a day
Is 1-2-2 grip healthier for my fingers?
(Fingertip grip)
Does anyone take ashwagandha? If so, do you feel an effect on your stress levels?
there are some arm wrestling exercises like rising wrist's side muscles with weight or band that might help stability
other than that what we all do is just keep training smoothness in aim training
how can I tell the difference between rsi and tunnel syndrome?
I'm having some pain on the muscle on the right side of my wrist is there any reason why or I can help it in some way? I've just taken Ibuprofen and it helped but this is day 2 that its hurting. It goes into my pinky finger some as well

over the past few years
anyone opinions?
What is this stuff? I keep getting it recommended in my amazon feed. Seems sus but I wouldn't mind trying something to help lessen my caffeine intake.
How can i deal with constant pain in my elbow and in the fingers after a few sessions of playing/practising ?
even tried to go for smaller sessions but still
Git gud 🙀
most of these "gaming" supplements/drinks are just a tonne of caffeine and sugar.
could literally have a cup of coffee with like 2 tsp of sugar and itll be the same
most of the effect people "experience" im sure are just placebo
Thats why we are all here, still curious if anyone knows anything about smelling salts or whatever since that stuff is very popular with pro athletes or people doing pre work out.
Im sure there are some people that use them for focus.
maybe people who have trouble focusing use them
How is this real
people fr buying anything
🐑
Yes
Well it makes you feel a bit light headed
But in like a span of 4-5 days of taking it, it exhausts me
Think it's just me
Smelling salts are more for triggering a fight or flight response
And not really a focus thing
i noticed that i often move my head closer to my monitor when playing, especially in CSGO
usually i sit up right but my neck and shoulders shorten. i noticed that in my practice and it like to stop this
anyone have some rousources how?
how do people not feel irritated?
I want to punch something if I'm feeling fucking pissed about something like right now but that's not the best way to deal with it as it can tie anger to aggression. How else can I deal with feeling totally pissed?
what do you guys do when you stop feeling to aim train?
You just have to realize nothing actually matters
And everything will work out if you try your best
And what if I'm feeling frustrated because I'm not enjoying myself with something?
Hard to give advice without going into a bit more detail imo
Then don't do that thing?
I missed an appointment and saw bad stuff on the news. Tried to enjoy my weekend by watching a stream and playing a racing game. Had to nap because I'll be going out shortly and I'm feeling a bit better but I wish I didn't need to nap just to feel better, unless I'm lacking sleep (not the case, slept long enough)
Often when I'm angry I'm not getting what I want.
Have you ever thought that what you want might not be entirely realistic
Sometimes it isn't (such as how I reacted from bad news) but I never feel like I can settle with what I want. At the same time I feel like I'm either too lazy or apathetic and like I can never have enough time, especially because of my time zone.
How does your timezones effect the amount how much time you have
Doesn't make sense
And if you're lazy or apathetic that's only your fault
you should try meditation to deal with your anger
if you are angry and you do not get what you want you will get angry and do not get what you want if this makes sense @copper basin
Sleep and stuff, Wanting to be engaged with what NA does while I'm stuck in EU
if you can change it, try to change it with a system
if you cannot change it and it is out of your control you do not have any reason go get angry or frustrated
Change everything to fit in with a schedule that works for na times then
That's what I've kinda done sometimes
Gonna try and do that.
if youve tried other ways of managing anger/frustration and you haven't found much that's worked, in the moment of anger try using TIPP.
Temperature (holding ice cubes, rubbing ice cube or ice packs on your face, splashing cold water on your vitals),
Intense Exercise (since you feel the urge to hit things you can shadowbox, your favorite cardio, or if nothing else works put on heavy boxing gloves to reduce the harm you might cause to your hands from hitting things)
Paced Breathing (three part breath, breathing into your back rhythmically, etc)
Progressive Muscle Relaxation (flexing muscles you feel like are "tense" from the need to hit and holding for 10-15 seconds before releasing and relaxing that set of muscles as much as possible)
they're very hard to implement in the moment but they've stopped me from breaking my hand and wrist to the point where I need surgery
goodluck dude just keep at it I believe in you
of course, lifestyle changes that can prevent the causes of the anger are far more sustainable but staying safe is first priority
https://eathletelabs.com/eadvantage/ found their site they've sited real sceintific studies, but i dont know, does anyone actually know anything about eathletes here?
if this makes them creditable or that can possibly say otherwise
Ok nevermind, i may just have to change chair
what chair u have?
An office one ahahah
No clue what brand or anything
I just unscrewed the arm rests so that i can slot it under the desk
I'll see how it feels now
you could look to find an ergo chair
what i use
easier on my back personally
I am not interested in something comfortable for my back
If i was to change, i'll buy a smaller chair, mine is way too big and tall
For the desk that i'm using
anyone got advice for a someone struggling with getting in on their own head, like anger/embarrassment when doing bad? I don’t get annoyed over things I can’t control, just personal performance
i struggle with this too but i already feel bad about myself. i can't give you advice from here though
You need to realize that it doesn't matter, and it's not what defines you
as in just take it as it is and if so try and learn from it?
What I mean is that, in the grand scheme of things, whether u lose or win doesn't really make a difference. Now that's obviously quite different if you're trying to be a pro, but in that case, focus on the improvement, not the results
I've been playing FPS for so long, I already managed to get immortal in valorant once, currently ascendant, and I thought I had some level of aiming, but when I did my benchmark it drops silver, feeling bad as fuck.
Feeling that it is impossible to improve my aim
wtf u know like if u play long u have kinda like white overlay when u look on the monitor coz of staring for too long i have that today from the start xd
get better room lighting man
that's probably not healthy for ur eyes
i have a couple lamps behind my monitor, its really nice
like what
if i have lights on its too bright
and if i put them bh monitor they will blind me in my face
nah u need diffuse lighting
like this type of stuff
not a light pointing at you or something
way easier on the eyes
I have a really bright floor light
That I just point at my ceiling
Cuz that makes it softer and spreads it out more
I have my floor light to the side of my desk you don't need space behind your monitor
but the light should go from bh monitor?
or doesnt matter
coz i have lights in my room that r not directed an me
and i cant turn them on
You don't want your environment to be pitch black
Anything that prevents that
And makes your peripheral view brighter so your not staring at a focused bright light in a dark room
Would be good
its not dark but not bright
guys anyone have recommendations to what exercises I can do to avoid carpel tunnel?
anyone now how to fix tunnel visioning while gaming?
I feel like my eye fov is 45
vod review and make subconscious notes
if you catch yourself tunneling then make a mental note to try to be more cerebral
When I was young shulte table helped me
I think aimtraining ww/ts trains to use more peripheral vision
idk why but fast vertical flick (especially when I play reflex flick fair) instantly causes shoulder pain
how can I reduce this?
35~43cm/360 btw
Noted.
What is a shulte table?
Ill check it out
Thanks everyone
Any suggestions for some warm or customisable lights for room?
https://qqwref.github.io/schulte/ for more customization options
phone flashlight works pretty well for me usually
Does anyone know how hypermobility might affect aiming?
You might either have improper posture, as in flaring out your shoulder, or you are too tense, and or you could possibly be using your shoulder a tad too much. It could be any number of things other than those I have listed.
One question, does it hurt when you do regular motions outside of aiming?
What grip do you use?
I just took a pic and noticed my right shoulder is lower than the left, this might be a part of problem.
I feel tense when I flick and the bot move left and right in a short period while tracking scenario.
when I try to not tense I always feels like my mouse is too heavy somehow even I'm using gpx.
My shoulder hurts instantly when I do wide vertical flick continuously, otherwise it didn't happen except when I aim train for 2 hrs straight
(won't do that again ofc lol)
My grip is palm I guess.
https://i.imgur.com/wGydPzY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/8EcFf4I.jpg
Different shoulder position might affect it, feeling tense while doing reactivity is normal, but you should try to minimize it when necessary. If your mouse feels heavier, then you might be over relaxing. A rule that is stated for holding your mouse with proper tension is to hold as if you are trying to hold a delicate egf.
egg*
Your grip is good, but perhaps claw and fingertip would help with the pain due to the fact that you can use your fingertips to assist your arm, so your arm isn't taking the whole load.
I'd recommend trying those two, but don't switch if you don't feel comfortable with those grips.
Your advices definitely helps me a lot, Thank you.
I'll try other grip style and look for more better posture.
Heya ! Last days i feel some very " small " disconfort / pain in my index finger, radiate to the base of the thumb, probably some kind of tendonitis, i rest about a week, feel fine and painfree when i don't touch a mouse, but still when i press the left click, it's game over.
Any exercices / idea of what i can do for accelerate the healing process ?
1hp exercises on yt
is there already a sticky or anything for people who have carpal tunnel? i feel like its a common question asked to help
What is the fitaic 2.0 training program?
Could it be that i'm constantly tensed because of mental health?
Yesterday i was having a very productive day, and at the end of it all, I started playing. I was extremely relaxed and smooth for basically all of the session
The next day I try, and I am just unable to relax my harm and hand, and the more I try, the more I fail, the more I get mad/stressed about it
I've been trying breathing exercises, but those don't do anything, I get more out of breath the more I try to breath so you can guess how useful they are
Meditation, I just can't do it, I can't zone out on command
I either feel like I'm uncomfortable with my mouse and therefore I apply too much pressure and snap whenever I should shoot
Or barely hold it and I become even less precise
Whenever aiming for any longer than around 20sec I start to get serious pain and strain in the circles part of my hand. Running claw grip if that matters. Why is this happening?
i've noticed i get irritated easily like with my spate of ranting if i have nothing to look forward to. it didn't help too that money issues forced me to unsubscribe from some private healthcare service i've been using
idk what people do if they feel like that
i will admit though there are times when i just don't want to get out of bed and i'm feeling like local healthcare is becoming inaccessible for me, i'm worried about using up unnecessary resources and i'm back in a slump no thanks to a couple of events or so that really pissed me off on the last week of march
I find whenever I'm aiming for any period I end up shrugging my right shoulder up and hovering my forearm above my desk to a point where it's effort to keep it raised
I've tried different chair heights and having more/less arm on the desk but I always end up picking my forearm up to be comfortable and my shoulder and lats start to ache very quickly
Idk if it's a posture problem or a habitual problem that I just need to break
these two fingers are connected by nerves to ur neck, make sure ur posture is good at all times
stretch, have breaks, work out
i also recommend one day break from pc completely
does anyone have trouble with their hand microadjusting on their pad? ive seen ppl use gloves or sleeves but idk
also ur ulnar aka ur elbow so stretching ur arm fully can help it
speaking from experience cus I have ulnar nerve cut
and I have to do those stretches due to those finger issues
does some compression sleeves help with carpal tunnel to relief pain or some sort?
I made a bad habbit of just ending my alarm and going back to sleep, now i dont even remember turning it off and i overslept, does anyone know what might help me fix this?
2-3 alarms each offset by 3-5 min. if you hit snooze you will have to hit snooze 5+ times and eventually you wake up. once you train yourself to wake up regularly you can reduce alarms
over sleeping is symptom of sleep debt more generally so you have to commit to 9hrs a night until you don't feel as groggy in AM
i sleep 10h and when i want to wake up after 8 i just have a reflex for that unless its something important
ill try to put my phone further so that i have to get out of bed to turn it off
Hm it's possible that's just your standard but also possible you are not getting restful enough sleep. e.g. sleep apnea can make you feel less awake when you wake up since didn't get true rest
sleep study is always a decent idea
if everything is "normal" should feel wakefulness automatically when getting enough rest and sunlight comes in your room
i mean when i go to school sometimes im good on 6-7h but some days after 10 i still feel sleepy
oh yea also depends on age. teens need more sleep e.g
i made a bad habbit last summer cuz i would set my alarm to like 6-7h of sleep cuz i thought it was enough, and i just slept 3 hours longer every day whole summer
Hi, i have a pain located near the base of the thumb. I think to change my grip to something different, and i want some opinion :
Old grip :
as you can see i left a big space btw my thumb and the mouse
And now the new one :
I angle my index finger to create a " ring " toward the thumb, and try to have the mouse more in contact with the thumb
I take any advices 🙂 thx in advance
under my knuckles starts feeling hot when i start usin my mouse n aim train / play games
I might be developing carpal tunnel though it's not so bad yet. Does putting on some IcyHot on the wrist work?
