@ebon sky Well if you don't have a software for your mouse, chances are it's not a very good mouse. Also, google whatever brand of mouse you have to see if you can find the dpi increments. But, yes, it's probably 400, 800, 1600, and 3200dpi steps. I recommend staying on 800/1600 if you can keep your same sensitivity.

Try to seek higher levels of play
Either in competition or rank
1500 hours is baby numbers
The only way I've been able to become consistent is to play the game and then play it some more
In my opinion there really isn't any magic trick to being more consistent. The only way to get kills and not be killed as well as doing your role as an operator is in game experience, your experience leads you to make either the wrong or the right decision based off of how the round is playing out.
To gain the experience needed to make the right decisions you have to make all the wrong decisions first and learn from your mistakes.
Or to see someone else make the right or wrong decisions on stream for example
My best advice to you is to simply try to become a better player and gain experience.
Also there isn't really such a thing as becoming more consistent, it's more like minimising inconsistencies.

That's definitely too high of a sensitivity for a click-timing dominant game such a Siege. With those types of games it's best to stay in the 40cm-60cm range (for ADS) to be the most consistent. Yes, it's slow. That's the point.

Two extraordinary examples of sensitivities I would definitely not recommend yet the players have made them work. It's also much easier to to abnormally low sens rather than it is to go abnormally high sens.

@raw fox this is more prevalent higher elo you go and higher into the competitive scene. a lot of pros play ridiculously slow sens (ADS) and medium-upper medium hip, because when you are competing at that level it’s not about your flicks and hitting the nice shots it’s about missing as few as possible. at that level you already know where your opponents are with a 90-100% degree of certainty for each one

Well the issue I'm having is I've been using a low sens for so long. I played CSGO at 61cm and when I got into Kovaaks I realized I can't run that so I went to 38, but my reactivity is so great at 34 that it almost negates the precision issues.
My hipfire is 31cm. I used to use 38cm hipfire and I think like 44cm ADS but I perform better on 34. Yet I'm less accurate at times. It's weird @vivid jolt
And since I'm at a lower fov does that mean my higher sens would be comparable to a lower sens at 90fov?
