I playing apex more now and I learned to play the game with not the expectation to win, simply to improve. We haven’t played ranked enough yet these couple weeks, just grinding pubs (gold, silver silver) and it’s really frustrating that I have to baby my friend who has many more hours than me and got me into the game (he is an irl friend)

We VOD Review fairly often and I’m really good at supporting him in a fight but sometimes we get into an argument over what was the best play because he decided to ape someone solo when my other irl friend and I tell him he’s alone

This is a really common issue, people who int fairly common are hard to get to, but if you keep laying into them for it then eventually you can get that metaphorical "leash" on them

At the end of the day, you might just need to step up and take an IGL position. Sometimes it's going to take saying to them "shut the fuck up and do this"

It's also possible you won't be comfortable doing that, which is entirely ok. At that point it's probably a better idea to just roll with whatever they're saying
