It's really early to say since it's my first couple of hours with it.
On one hand I was expecting a way smoother glide. It feels fairly controllable however, almost similar in glide to the Hien. There's no starting or stopping friction though, so it feels like it magnifies mistakes a lot more too.
Plus since it's glass you definitely can't use fingertips touching the pad. I use a lot of my pinky contact for example, and you just can't do that on a skypad.
So honestly, worst case scenario even if the Skypad doesn't become my main game pad, I actually think it's going to be a legitimate learning tool to make use of my Hien even better.
But we'll see after I've given it a lot more time.

Yeah, the speed doesn't feel that much faster than the Hien really. I did a few glide tosses and it seemed to travel about the same distance with my mice.
It's just a lot easier to start and harder to stop because of the lack of texture.
