a simple fix is to add a penalty that deactivates after 5 minutes of a match. i’d rather just leave and roll the dice to get a game against people at my skill level than watch the survivors who are very obviously better do all the gens and open the doors. it’s just a waste of everyone’s time if we know that the outcome of the game is that there will be 4 happy survivors and an angry killer in 5 minutes

a playstyle I like is being stealth there r a few good killers for that but from what ive heard and experienced ghostface and pig are the worst as pig loses power entirely and is a slowdown killer as well as it says your undetectable but your really not till 5 or 6 seconds after u crouch

if its every game that youre against bully squads then it most likely is just a you problem. You need to know whether its worth taking chase or to leave. any chase over a minute is usually not worth the time. if flashlights are the problem then just look at walls when picking up and they dont do anything

Ghost face is my most played killer (though not by that much), and I'd personally recommend him. Yeah there's 1ks and 2ks, but you wouldn't believe the amount of 4ks at 4-5 gens I've gotten as him
Most importantly, he's fun. it's just plain fun to sneak up on someone and get a gen grab or a perfectly 99ed mark

I think ghost face should work fine for that. He doesn't have any real advantages in chase other than the very situational crouching or potential undetectable, so make sure you know how to loop, but if you play him right you often won't need to chase. I run a mostly info build + surge with him to always know where people are to sneak up on them and keep the gens regressed with surge

The one I use most is Jagged Compass + Floods of Rage + Pain Resonance + Surge
Jagged Compass shows me the gen with the most progress, so I can sneak up on it and probably find someone
Floods of rage shows me everyone's auras after someone is unhooked so I can see where they are and if they're healing under hook
Then Pain Resonance and Surge make sure the gens don't pop too fast
For add-ons, drop-leg knife sheath and the security camera are really good. knife sheath giving you haste to secure downs and security camera giving you info on every marked down
I'm also a fan of the add-on that makes gens explode and become blocked if you mark someone who's working on them, fits nicely into the build. Only reason I stopped using it is because I ran out from using it so much lol

Not every game is good, but the games that are good are really good. It might not hold up at high MMR, but I'm not getting up there any time soon anyway lol

Plague unironically benefits probably the best from her own perks, Corrupt Intervention & Infectious Fright.
Corrupt essentially guarantees early infection since Survivors only have a few Gens to use and can't really avoid the ones you vomit on.
Infectious allows her to snowball heavily with Corrupt Purge (the red vomit that damages)

Plus, Infectious is generally just really good to have if you're having trouble with altruistic squads since it'll let you know if there's anybody lurking for a save after you down a Survivor

The main addon you always wanna run is lion fang, gives you blood fury for 10 more seconds, then you can run splintered hull to get more blood orbs or akito's crutch for more speed during blood fury

btw what you see as "gen rushing" is probably just the survivors playing the game properly (in other words, spending all of their time on gens rather than getting lost or healing)

trickster is very simple, hold left and right click on survivors and reload when needed. Occasionally you can hit ctrl to throw extremely fast in exchange for being slow

plague is a bit more complicated. Puke on people to make them forever injured after a little while, then if they cleanse that you can drink the fountain they leave behind, making your puke damage people. Also puking on objects can infect them too

nah im at the point where i get half baked bullies, few have head on, the pallet thing when picked up, and ds so they have 2-3 people with gens in mind and one following with either a flashlight and flashbang, or a sabo build and they always seem to be the best loopers ever so if i try to make them go away, they go to an L T or end up looping me to waste time over and over

oh and all of them tbag when pallet dropping and when exit gates are open

my main strat used to be hop on either nemesis or chucky to farm some bp but now i get these people and rarely get 4ks

legion is a 4.6 killer with no ability if you’re deep wounded in their face, other than maybe iri button if they frenzy, vault, then immediately cancel

another funny thing you can do is body block for somebody, if legion hits you again while you’re deep wounded nothing happens and they go into burnout (unless it’s the 5th slash)

legion also goes into burnout if they grab you from a locker

Winning is a matter of correct pressure application of both sides. Survivors have a innate advantage, since they have more numbers. So they can spread pressure more naturally. Pressure in this instance means gen progress, chase, unhooking for survivors and for killer gen regression, map traversal and downs. This is a very brief answer and very short, there are more ways to apply pressure than that.

Now what you as the killer wanna do is, put the most pressure in the area where ir hurts most.
This can be by directing chase into a area where you know that gens are being done, slugging people near a hooked survivor, holding a 3gen etc.
These make the area wich you want to pressure smaller and makes survivor have to come to you.

So think about what you are doing, dont go off jumping from chase to chase to chase. Create deadzones, push survivors into each other during chase and dont give unhooks for free.

Because you dont know how.

As the killer, the survivor wants to avoid you as much as possible and keep distance. This you can use as a advantage. If you are in a situation where you can get the survivor to run into a direction because you faked going around one side of the pallet and then break it, you have given them a suggestion of where they should go if they wanna keep the distance. So you fake left, break pallet, survivor who reacts to your movement, goes left in order to not get caught, however, since Pallets is getting broken, they keep going left to the next structure. Thats basically the gist of it. You're not always supposed to get hits at every pallet. Some are there to dictate chase flow and direction. This concept is called zoning. And it's basically the most important killer ability you have to learn

It's not so much cutting them off as it is forcing them into the direction you want them to go. So instead of following the survivor's chase, you're pushing them into an area of the map where you can either apply better pressure on gens, hooks, or other survs, or get the down quicker.

No it isn't. You're not doing what you're doing to necessarily get a hit but rather to have the survivor go into a area and get downed there with benefits you. So you take your chase and survivor runs towards shack, BUT towards main there are more generators and you know people are working on them. If you cannot down the survivor going to shack quickly, you should see wether you can redirect the chase, via mentioned methods, towards the area where people are doing gens. Since if you hook in that Main area with all the gens, you will be able to not only pressure gens via proximity but also defend the unhook. So what ends up happening, survivors can't do gens without risking getting hit or cannot unhook without you being able to chase quickly afterwards.

Mind game is a diffrent thing. Its supposed to shorten chase. Playing for what I am describing is a macro skill, so you basically make a long term investment into your match to have a easier time later in the math

if you can, i’d go into a custom, put some bots on, put your iri coin on and learn the ranges and get used to leading your shots if they’re further away or tracking them if they’re closer, i’d just load into a forced dead dawg, go to shack window and shoot at the wall across from it. that’s NEAR the range of when your hitscan is going to fall off, drill that distance into your head and shoot accordingly

Personally the gen block proc condition is 100x better than the hex version, because that means at best it will trigger three times versus with thrilling tremors whenever you pick up a survivor

Chase orientated perks will likely inflate your chase but it won't properly teach you the fundamentals of survivor chase, if you want to specifically improve at that then just simply playing the game more, watching educational 1v1 content (check spot guides etc) or playing 1v1 will help your fundamentals.

Note that windows is a training wheel perk to learn maps slightly faster or to know rng in advance if you already know them, and it shouldn't be used for mindless looping. Unless you want it to become a crutch, leaving you with 3 perk builds. @short crag

Another great way to improve at looping is to learn match ups on killers you struggle with. You don't have to play them but viewing a few guides for playing as and against them definitely helps to understand the general thought process
