I only have general perks and that characters teachables for each character.
and teachable perks are not showing up in bloodwebs

Some characters for people will either have all rank 1 perks or only their base perks and nothing else
in the PTB. Its why you might see more generic perks on people

I think it just encourages builds to cover your weaknesses or strategies a bit more. Though be aware i didn't try every way of fighting the diminishing returns with my older builds minus the all haste build

so with diminishing returns i just have to do my own math to find out how much a perk will still do why doesnt it say in game
waited 7 minutes to get into a game, survivors throw themselves at hook infront of me and dc when they get downed, complain in egc about sweating, tunneling, and slugging? telling me to get off the ptb for sweating even tho i'm literally just testing how the new blight changes feel
Pick the several anti tunneling perks, DS is free and get better at holding chases for team to finish gens

Synopsis: The killers that got buffed feel way stronger. Blight is now poo poo ass for anyone that played him as an M1 zoner. Diminishing return system is fine but we're going to end up in a Bardic 1234 meta with Autodidact
my Duo and I were running it and its incredibly powerful. You hit get max stats autodidact in 2 heals, and every person on the team flies through gens
The perk stacking crap really just doesnt matter all that much. The people who are complaining about healing builds are blissfully ignorant to how absurdly powerful Auto + 1234 is and how its stronger than any combination of healing perks there were
as usual its cope. Music META inc
if you want to run a gen build, put on bardic and a gen speed perk like deja. If you wanna run a heal build, put on WGLF and one of the normal healing perks with a medkit
which then leaves the game in a state where the only real nerf is the haste stacking, which was really only a problem ont he killer side. Its a lot more common to see haste perks on haste killers or stacked haste on a killer (furtive + Rapid / Batteries) than it was to see MFT + Po2 / Bloodpact / speed boon

And ofcourse the only really unhealthy part of the game, which is stacking quadruple regression on a high / S tier and gen locking the game, is not being adequately addressed. Stacking regression perks make for painful, slow games and allow killers who make a lot of mistakes to extend games beyond what is tolerable for an average pub lobby. if anyone actually thinks that the current boodmoon event is fun from the survivor POV when youre playing against Surge - Turnback - Ruin - pain res on an S / high tier... it isnt. Pub games should not be taking 15-30 minutes to complete, especially during high playerbase activity times like events.
agree. Blight is no longer #1. Its not even close. He actually has to play the game now, land his power, and interact with the pallet logic on maps

I have a bit of feedback for this PTB already.
- Dredge change hits the biggest pain point on the head but I think it should be hit a smidge harder. While holding his power to leave a remnant he should move 4.1m/s instead of 4m/s. you could probably even go to 4.2m/s. You move faster than the survivor to catch up to them and hit them, and you gain bloodlust after a while to catch up faster. With Dredge moving as fast as survivors they can camp pallets or vaults and wait to see if Dredge teleports or not.
1.5. Lockers should spawn where killer items (Xeno tunnels, Ring TVs, etc) spawn when it’s Huntress, Trickster or Dredge to make their powers more easily accessible. Xenomorph will still be leagues better than Dredge because tunnels are next to gens.

The Doctor and Bubba changes are very obviously nothing burgers. Buff them more.

Just give Ghostface base kit haste or make his move speed 4.8m/s already. Nobody would mind a big numbers buff to Ghostface. Everyone loves Ghostface in fact, so stop just giving him crumbs. Play with your Food and Knife Sheathe are used so much on Ghostface because they make him playable in this metagame where you need to be fast.

👏👏on the Demo buffs, please remove his scream upon exiting portals and increase turn rate more while decreasing pallet break and on hit shred cooldown.
Also this isn’t about killer but just in general. Please fix the 2v8 pallet density issue.
Also I should have said this at the start of my feedback but I am a survivor main who played killers in the past and have an understanding of the game on both sides of the coin. I want to play killers more and stream myself playing said lower tier killers and Ghostface, Dredge and Demogorgon are 3 of my top 10 killers so I BADLY want to see them buffed to playability

Personally I don’t play Animatronic or get to fight one a lot but from what I saw this morning watching JCGlitchmaster there is a very clear difference and a good one.
I’ve seen enough of him to recognize he’s better
i know that killers get every addon for their power on the ptb, is there a way to get that on survivor?
Not sure, pretty sure that’s a PTB choice as testing out killer changes with every add-on is super important in comparison to a survivor having a better medkit

Diminishing returns sounds really terrible. It doesn't affect any skill check based gen rush build for survivors like hyperfocus + stake out. That's still gonna be busted. Also why is diminishing returns affect killers in the first place. Killers r already in a bad position. It's 4 perk vs 16 perks. The only thing it will affect a little bit is healing builds for survivors. Other than that it won't change anything. The haste limitation will hurt killers even more.
I don't see how this is a positive update.
And only demo and unknown got pretty good buffs other than those two I see useless buffs. Doctor buff is literally a 0.5 second tweak that's not even a buff. Bubba buff is also not that good. Ghost face buff is a joke having 2 second less cooldown of power means nothing when his power is still garbage and bugged. Dredge buff is also nothing. Skull merchant got perks icon changes is that supposed to be a buff? 😭
About springtrap in the stream they said they were making him significantly stronger if survs don't engage with cameras but thats not seems to be the case. All he got was decreased timers for his axe which in no way makes him significantly stronger.
Also being able to see other survs perks is a really good update but it shouldn't show who's the killer. Even non stealth killers should not be shown. No one asked for this.
Also again fast track nerf is nothing too they just change the charge from 2% to 1% but it's still permanent progress so killers will still get punished for hooking different survivors.
Being able to see survs perks is the only W in this ptb everything else is absolutely mid.

Funnily enough, RPD being indoor map is one of the worst dredge maps

i think they seperated the grab axe key from the m1 basic attack key
so you can now choose to down and slug or instagrab
i havent confirmed this though, the queues were too bad for me to play anything but one demo game

the undetectable is very nice, and the increased rotation speed and movement speed of the shred makes it both easier to get certain hits that felt awful before, and it makes it much easier to keep track of where the target went after you landed/missed the shred
i dont think it helps demogorgon that much since its TP is still pretty ass without leprose lichen
Yeah I wanted to try blight but just couldn’t find a match. Survivor had 3.5x bonus too. Played some survivor instead
All matches were against weskers with one xeno on my last match

And Unknown, the cooldown on UVX + the linger being reduced is HUGE, basicly you get your power quicker and survivor get ride of weaken slower, he needs more but this is a big start so that you can have a chance of injuring weaken survivors without them getting ride of it before your UVX is even off cooldown

In short, clown's powers count as pure state and any perk on top of that feels the nerf stick as is.
plus haste stacking addon clowns have been a thing for a while i really doubt this update is gonna have any implications for how they might get changed in the future because clown was like this from before the patch and the patch didnt change him at all either

Then you need to read these words carefully. Clown's baked in haste counts as for 100% effect and with a few execptions, this means any perk slot will give only 50% effect.

ptb's are usually like a week, then theres a two week period after them before they hit the live servers
probably use that two week period to make adjustments and fixes to things that were in the ptb

It is known to the entire PTB player base and the devs that clowns power is not working as described in the patch notes.
It will obviously be corrected when it comes to live, and realistically you shouldn't be running more than a si gular haste perk on the killer anyways so whatever it is that your complaining about is a non issue
Run Rapid like every other normal person playing Doc or Clown, and double speed add ons. When its on live you'll be able to get to 20% haste.
Clown isnt even a killer that was adjusted or looked at in this patch.
Why does a killer need to be drastically buffed for it to be worth testing.
These killers were tweaked, not reworked. The only killer highlighted specifically for this update was Blight. Everything else is secondary

Having an iri addon that should be basekit is a huge issue for him because in his current state you basically have to have double iri to win

the egg becoming partially base kit + them buffing the addon for faster movement between bounds really helps with setting him up just in case your first bound doesnt go as far as youd like
and a half a second faster recovery on either of his bound tokens is def noticeable in the heat of the moment, really like where he is rn

Blight skill floor was raised but doesnt change his strengh when used by good Blights, diminishing returns helps with healing meta but it still doesnt affect non stackable OP shit like stakeout + hyperfocus, the buff to killers are only important for Unknown, Demo and Wesker but the rest are nothing burger changes, only changed 1 single perk (im glad Fast track got nerf but all they did was halve the %, its such a lazy change they could have turn it back before the rework or just rework perk again), the survivors being able to see the killer when match starts suck, etc

Bruh we only have 5 days to convince behavior to buff these killers more when there are no queues, half the changes are nothing burgers and on the first day people couldn’t even equip perks?

Same issue I had with the pallet density changes, it never really seemed like they bothered to touch each map up individually but rather just took pallets out of some maps and added some into some maps without really caring whether they were good, bad, busted etc.
I’m so upset about it because Mikaela cosmetics came out that I want and I want to main Dredge but these lack of changes push me away from buying anything
Some maps to this day are still problematic in terms of the amount of pallets in it, like pale rose I think it is (one with big boat and little boat). Legit every tile connects in some way, there’s pallets everywhere, a lot of the loops are long and tall walls so if you’re playing a ranged killer you’re just screwed
Or lackluster ones in Dredge’s case. He needs to move faster than survivors while holding his power. He’s not Wesker or Nurse or a projectile killer he’s a mind game and chase killer

First the ptb launches and all characters only have their personal perks, that gets fixed but now half my survivor roster and half my killer roster aren’t unlocked despite me having every character in the game on live and in the last three or four ptb’s
I switched back to live because idk how I’m supposed to test things when half of the perks are behind characters who are now locked for no reason.
As a Dredge main and someone who watches Dredge players and has a nearly 100% winrate against him, I completely believe he will not go anywhere up with these changes.
Dredge will wait for haste, survivor will camp pallets/vaults

look around while on hook. Identify where you’re gonna wanna run to after unhooked and make a plan for if you get tunneled off hook. You have base kit endurance and haste, use it to reach something you can work with.

It’s really not a crutch perk it’s not that big of a deal just go find the totem
The biggest counter to tunneling is to be a good looper. If you’re better at looping than the killer, they waste more time chasing you and that’s time your team can do gens. Sure you may not end up surviving forever or even getting away from the tunnel, but you can buy your team time to get gens done so maybe it only ends in a 1k and a 3 out.
Only time that’s a problem is when the totems near the hooked survivor. Thats why I had the idea for the hex to move to the farthest totem if you hook a survivor next to it. You’d still get value, but survivors would still be able to counter it.
Would just remove the situation where it’s fully uncounterable and gaurentees a kill based on pure luck that the totem was next to a hook a survivor ended up on.

To counter something means to act in opposition of it. You counter tunneling by being a good looper. Perks that are designed to be used as things to fall back on if your skills aren’t enough are crutch perks.

thats fair. ive certainly have played my fair share of games both with and without perks and the skill gap can get quite awful. theres just some matches where theres little to zero chance of getting more than one generator done even if you let someone die on hook and others where the killer is only ever in one chase for 5 gens

Using crutch perks doesn’t always mean you can’t ever improve. If you’re fully relying on them, then yea you’re probably not gonna get better. If you’re using them as a backup but still actually trying, then you can improve.
It’s the difference between running ds because you know you’re bad at chase, get tunneled a lot, and you’re just not bothering to improve and just using ds to get away vs running ds because you know you’re mediocre at looping, wish to improve, and actually trying to loop before going down and using it.
If we want a killer example, someone running noed and not bothering to try and get hooks or kills before endgame and only getting kills with noed is fully relying on noed. Someone who actually made an effort, tried to mindgame, got a few hooks but no kills by endgame and then uses noed to get a kill didn’t rely fully on noed. They actually tried to get hooks throughout the match, got a few but not enough for a kill, and then used noed at the very end to secure one final down for a kill.
I wouldn’t call it heated. We’re both chill so as far as I’m concerned it’s just a civil debate

eruption deals damage to gens upon the survivors being downed if youve kicked the gen, yeah call of brine will apply to whatever gen you kicked last but it cant really "stack"
eruption doesnt do anything to make the gen regress faster either, it just says "they start regressing"
so youd just kick the gen, call of brine it, down somebody, and the gen loses an extra 10% progress, but that has no effect on call of brines faster regression over time
either way its something diminishing returns wouldnt have anything to do with, its two separate effects on a gen

The lunge addon on Nurse makes it easier to land blinks without being as precise. Makes it harder for the survivors to bait out and dodge the blinks since you can lunge into them

It makes it so perks and item effects stack together less, while prioritizing the one with the most effect
Like as killer if you have furtive chase (gives 10% haste) And then rapid brutality (5% Haste), then it'll slightly worsen rapid brutality if furtive chase is giving a boost at the same time, so instead of 15% haste it would give something a little less but more than 10% because it prioritizes the bigger boost

It’s easy to poke fun at the lack of noticeable improvements visually but let’s put that aside. I would need some kind of deal to help drive some creativity from within the company but here’s some for free; how have you not even attempted a proximity chat? It doesn’t have to be chaotic it can be just when you get picked up or for survivors only when close. How have you not thought about awarding an mvp after the round for each trial? The mvp’s can even have an aura visible to only survivors. These two small improvements would help engagement and fun in an otherwise extremely repetitive game. How have you not considered streaks for great skill checks that award more? How have you not noticed that wiggling to get loose from the killer is incredibly imbalanced and far too favorable to the killer? Anyways.. I’d love to talk to someone that can get through to these guys.

Best gen regression combo is gonna become dms with pain res and maybe ruin but I don’t see that as really an issue since there are gen regression perks that prevent you from doing the gen in different ways same goes for gen rushing you have different ways to speed run a gen hyper focus stake out blast mine and a perk like proved thyself or deja vu are going to become the gen rush / gen regression builds that will be meta I don’t see them affecting the game that much you’ll just have to get more creative with perk selection

You want to run prove and deja and someone would use quick gambit? Oopsie, now it's full garbage unless you run 0 gen perks because it'll give only 1% of gen speed when you didn't even want to stack. Even if you don't have gen perks and somebody has prove quick gambit will give you 2.5%

The changes are trash because the only way they are good for the game is if the devs now start actually paying attention to old content, making good tweaks, reworks and more but they have NEVER done that good with very few exceptions, so is a huge "what if" but the what if is expecting the devs to make changes and rework in ways they have never succed to do
its the potential update but devs has given us 0 chances to think they will ever reach that potential
so is just a short term bad change and an almost impossible long term good change

idk I think that if there's an OP perk combo then those perks should be addressed, not every perk in the game. This change is gonna lead to tons of existing combos not working anymore, and we have to hope that BHVR will fix them in the future. Which, based on the past 6 years I've played, I don't have high hopes that is something they have at the top of their priority list

Stakeout gives you tokens for being inside the killer's terror radius. You can expend tokens when preforming skill checks on generators to turn those skill checks into great skill checks

Wesker when clipping trees on some maps when a player is vaulting over a pallet it doesn’t allow him to swing or move to the pallet instead it rubber bands him I’m assuming this is because of the recent changes with him not being allowed to slide off of higher structures.
Blight and the Lich so far both have bugs when you use their momentum abilities your mouse sensitivity becomes slower after colliding with objects for some reason or being stunned.
Also the bug is back with the mouse moving when your character is moving in the game and you use your mouse to check direction like left or right if you press tab the mouse is moving aswell in the tab section although not being tabbed in
The tab bit i should explain better essentially when you move your mouse it’s moving the actual mouse cursor that shows up when you open the tab menu in game if you move it In game your mouse the cursor follows that instead of being centered when you press tab like normal

With the "the more you use it, the more you lose it" kind of system that's currently planned, you're just implementing an artificial meta for Absolutes
Any perk that doesn't get nerfed just by playing the game a certain way will be meta now
It certainly won't do anything to dethrone the most picked perks from high usage, just from being used by enthusiasts who like to play the game in less viable ways
Playing 4 Healing perks "counters" legion in the same way that plague "counters" Dramaturgy... Once you notice the other side plays a certain way, it's up to you to play around it, the game's pretty well balanced at this point, unless for 4man teams or very lucky 3man teams
Even more DS, more DH, more UB, just every second chance perk for survivor will be in every game
considering most survivors play solo, it's just the only option for survivors unless they want to keep loosing with the tactics they like (there's ways with For the people, but that's still a bad perk since the broken timer is so long, especially now that no one can heal you fast)
In my opinion the "In one direction" perk builds were never a problem, the "op in every direction" builds were, but those aren't adressed at all, in fact they're encouraged
Subjective summary: Make Niche builds that are strong against over-used strong perks weak, make Killers "more equal" in a way that will just make every killer forcably bring the same perks just like every survivor will have to bring the same 4 perks

Perk stacking is not an issue in how it performs meta wise but in how it prevents perks from seeing the spotlight
I did read what you put, I just disagree with what you're saying. Perks will always be measured against both the meta, and how much effort is needed to gain a certain value. I don't think this change will positively affect how perks are balanced, and will only punish people from specializing certain builds. This doesn't help balance the meta from the same perks that have been used for years, and it's not incentivizing new perks to be used, and even if you think that it will down the road, it's just as hard/easy to buff/nerf perks in the current system as it would be with the proposed one

It doesnt even deincentivise use of fun builds tho. The difference in speeds between the actions included in this patch before and after is mostly under a tenth of a second, and comes with the bonus of paving the road for neglected perks to make a comeback and improve perk design in future chapters

Nope not even that since you lose collision briefly after your vault ends (only on pallets not windows) so survivors will always be allowed to vault back risk free
Windows are still a good option to loop when playing kaneki but pallets are terrible for him now
If you can make good use of his leaps to cut survivors off in loop you’ll be able to play him effectively that way. But vaulting pallets no longer gives any edge in chase

In my idea, him being slower or just as fast as survivors while charging means he won't be able to pressure the survivor by pushing them closer
You just have to hope that they go near the remnant
If they see the remnant they can just shift w to the next loop and you either lose distance, or make no distance at all
