Been playing some more houndmaster lately, I just came across a bug (i think) that affected me half the match, I was walking "glitched" as if I was colliding with the ground when walking. (Think of Hilbilly's frame when he walks). I was very slowed & couldnt gain bloodlust (I dont use Alien perk on her). Is this a known bug for her? IDK where to report bugs

Xeno's perks are probably the most versatile on the killer roster since all 3 are actually decent and useable unlike some others (Krasue) with all 3 useless perks

U could should through gaps, holes and fences, now u cant do that + they messed up with the harpoon. There is a chance harpoon just bounces off the survivors (The animation of survivors getting shot will play, but it will just bounce back without injuring them)

He is still very fun imo. So if you can get a basic attack to injure it'd be great to follow up with a spearshot. If you can impale them then they are 100% injured even if behind obstacles. But it won't down them. You can move back after impaling them to reel them to you, vice versa directly moving to them makes you move faster at them. You have to reload after every shot so make it count. You can put your gun's hitbox in an obstacle to make the chain break faster or prevent it from breaking faster since survivors will do the same to escape

So realisitically u need to aim a little bit to the left, if the survivor is running to the left and etc. Some holes are shootable and some are blocked after updates. U gotta spend some time testing with them. But u used to shoot through anything because the hitbox is a literal dot

Use doors to quickly teleport around the map and gain undetectable

You have a fire axe. You move at 4.4 speed unless you throw the axe. You can throw it at smn to injure them then grab them if the axe is still in them.

You got doors both you and they can travel to fast travel the map. If you travel at the same time as smn else does then you grab them

u can through the axe and if u hit a survivor, it embeds to them. Survivor becomes broken so they cant heal. U can grab a survivor with an axe on their back

If you are not in chase, helping other survivors, or doing gens for an extended period of time, a hidden timer counts up. Once it hits certain thresholds, you get stacking crows appearing above your head

At 3 crows you constantly give off a loud notification to the killer

Tunneling is tunnel vision. When a killer focuses on one survivor until they die and don't both chasing or hookinh anyone else. Certain aggressive killers like Blight excel at doing this, able to elimate one survivor quickly heavily hindering the group.

Survivors dislike it because they don't like being knocked out of the game within 2 minutes having not been able to do anything. A number of survivors tend to have confusing definitions of tunneling though and will yell at killers for doing it when they are very much not.

Ive gotten yelled at for tunneling while playing Trapper, managing my traps.

Some survivors will get pissy about it if you chase them at all after being unhooked. Its silly.

Shes niche and weird. One of the least played killers in the game for a reason.

Her power is she can set up to 10 desposable traps on the ground which spawn a fake copy of her when a survivor walks or runs in range of it. The fake spins the survivor's camera around to face it, makes a very loud noise, and plays chase music.

Hag can teleport to a triggered trap and attack out of the teleport hitting a survivor.

Her gameplay style very snowbally and basically centeted around weaving a spiderweb of traps around areas of the map. Downing a survivor, hooking them inside a web, and then the othet survivors have to navigate your web saving them.

can you guys recommend any good killer to played? so i'm not become hated killer, i'm interested with deathslinger
i found unwritten rules on killer like don't slugging and tunneling, but when i try it it become hard to get kill and only farm bloodpoint. when i playing survivor i don't like t-bagging cause it doesn't respect the killer
rn i'm learning the game with the help of gemini ai, so i'm asking it a lot of questions like the perk and the strategies how to play it

First of all, all killers are considered toxic by entitled and sweaty survivors. Don't let that stop you from having fun with your killer of choice! I speak as a Knight enjoyer.

Second of, unwritten rules are there to keep the game fun for all sides, both survivors and killers alike. It's nice to follow them, but if you're trying to win, do what you feel is necessary to stay ahead of the players. Otherwise, simply just have some fun!

And third of all, there are some really fun perk combinations, as well as "meta" perks, but I focus on the fun aspect and try learning new fun builds to make both as a survivor and killer. Like The Doctor's scream perk build I have, which has perks from four different killers altogether.

The best killers id recommend to get good at the basics are wraith, legion and doctor

I agree! Wraith is the most beginner friendly killer out there to play as, very useful to get to know the basics of the game overtime!
Legion is also very beginner friendly, and easy to learn as.
Doctor, although easy to understand, you (Izza) should know that every simple shock you let out, it temporarily incapacitates the shocked survivor, meaning they cannot vault or drop pallets. Takes time, but it's advantageous to know.

depends if you are looking on build for a specific thing (ex: stealth build, funny build, hex build etc), but for basic builds you can check out the otzdarva website, he has some builds there for every killer

the doctors power give survs a status effect called madness, up to madness 3, esentially he makes skill checks harder for survs, in tier 2 gives survs doctors illusions randomly, in t3 they see fake pallets, have an imaginary terror radious following them, doctors illusions become more frecuent and can’t do gens/cleansing/healing until snapping out of the madness which takes some time, the effects vary on which add ons you are running but i recommend the iridescent king add on which gives the secondary effect of all of doctors add ons
yeah the scream doesn’t make them slower, but they can’t do any actions for 2.5 seconds iirc, so it’s good to prevent a surv from vaulting or dropping a pallet

Incapacitate meaning that, in better terms, survivors' hands are tied.
Meaning that they cannot vault, drop pallets, heal, use items, fix generators, etc.
But they can still run, which is the only thing they can do when incapacitated, aka unable to do remotely anything.

yes, but there are some perks and killers which make cleansing totems very hard, like artist or doctor which can interrupt the cleansing actions with his powers, and also perks like thrill of the hunt which makes cleansing totems 60% slower, undying which gives an extra life to your totem, etc

2 people healing 1 slug = 200% speed + all of the above =800% the speed
16 secs (base healing speed)/8 = 2 seconds
thats in the best case scenario, but that requires a ton of set up, like the surv being in death hook, 2 survs being around, wgtlf off cooldown, etc so not really practical in a match
( im not counting no mither and exponentiak bc im pretty sure they don’t work when being healed by someone, just when you are recovering)

you can go to the void, there the killer is undetectable, and the survs are broken if injured and exhausted, if you have enough energy or smtn like that, which you get by doing your objectives of your role and breaking pumpkins, killers can go to the void to get 3 charges, which they can use to do actions faster or send a haunt forward that does damage if he hits a survivor, survs can get a crystal which automatically repairs like 20% of a gen overtime or use it to create a blue smoke which kinda desorientates the killer

The idea behind leaving survivors in the dying state is that it is a risk. If that survivor gets picked up you just lost a potential hook state. It is a risky option available to killers.

Killers also are not going to auto pickup all the time. They also arent always going to pick you up if youre in a bad spot for them or under a pallet.

It can also be used to buy time. Forces the other survivors to run over and get that person while you run off to do something else

I think if I chase the timer gets paused but I'm not always chasing. Its especially apparent in those altruistic groups that basically hang around you constantly flashing and saving team mates, its not like they get the time to mend when 3 or 4 of them have deep wounds so why does nobody go down?

The Deep Wound timer does not run out when a Survivor is running, being mended by a teammate or mending themselves. Only when they are walking, crouching, or performing an action (that is not mending themselves) will the bar deplete, and down them if it does.

It isn’t exactly useless. It prevents the activation of Dead Hard, (assuming you commit to chase) and immediately gets rid of OTR (assuming you shoot them immediately off hook) And if you’re climbing your MMR, you’re gonna be facing those meta perks a lot!

They can self-mend, but it’s a couple seconds longer.

From your perspective they are, yes. You can't tell how far it's depleted. Same with the infection status on Plague or the condemned stacks on Onryo.

Survivors can self-mend at any time, without the need of a medkit or teammate.

The main gen blocking perks I’d use with Ruin are ones that actively kick the survivors off the gens like No Holds Barred or Grim Embrace since they’re likely to leave the Gen and eventually it’ll start regressing

I'm a big fan of unique and off meta builds in games even if they aren't too effective. One of the reasons I like playing ranged killers is because the game changes drastically with how survivors need to play around loops and line of sight.

I was wondering if there is a fun less known way to play certain killers like maybe a deep wounds plague that forces players to mend to then get her red puke or some other debuffing type playstyle? I also usually like playing damage over time builds in games though aside from deepwounds I don't think thats possible here

The only way Plague can inflict Deep Wound is by the Survivors having Endurance which for obvious reasons is something you can't really rely on
For Debuffs the closest thing I can think of a Hinder build, which I've only really seen done on Freddy

I run it all the time and not always get value because sometimes I don't hit every great skillcheck, or killers are running undetectable / chasing far from me etc, you don't need to be amazing at it to get value out of it though

Most important tip I'd give is to not go very out of your way to get stakeout stacks , try doing a gen and if the killer comes and you get value from it great, if not wait for a good moment to get stacks for it , no need to turn the game into 3v2 because you follow the killer all the time

Plague is just Sickness, Max Sickness Injures and inflicts Broken which means Survivors just end up getting Injured from the Sickness spreading
Trapper is Traps
Krasue is Max Leeched which inflicts Broken
Skull Merchant is Claw Traps
Nemesis ig kinda also counts since Zombies can injure people if they're Infected

ig if you're including Deep Wound then Legion but I dont think that would count at all

In general Switch will always get Updates a bit after other Platforms due to Nintendo so Crossplay can not work at all right after an Update

i can give you a small rundown for both surv and killer:

Killer:
-Try to use every piece of info to know where all 4 survivors are (for example, if i hooked nancy, and i see her being unhooked, and then i see her being healed unnaturally fast, so i can assume the last survivor to do a gen. So i know the locations of all 4 based on one event,

-Survivors often spawn the furthest away from the killers, so its smart to go to the furthest gen away when you spawn

-Think as a survivor, for example in a chase would you vault that too? if yes, mindgame them and go there before they do and get a down, or if you are about to pick someone up, would someone usally flashlight save? if yes, look around you first and you might get a down.

-Face walls when you are attempted to be flashlighted

-Dont be afraid of pallets, if you get stunned, just destroy them, but think to yourself from which side of the pallet you break cuz depending on that, you either give them no room to run to, or the entire map to run to.

-When someone unhooks, dont give them a free unhook without punishing them with a down, or with a simple hit.

-Zone the area a bit, accept the fact you cant be everywhere, and try to cross off gens that the survs dont do, so you dont waste time patrollnig somewhere theyre not at.
