You don't get stunned, nothing happens. It'll always blind you but if they do the blind the second you pick up, it's far too early, they need to blind you closer to the end of the pick up animation to get the save

Getting flashlight blinded while carrying a survivor will cause you to drop them.
Getting blinded during the pickup animation does nothing, as you haven't started carrying them.
The idea is to start the blind so late into the pickup animation, that the blind completes after the pickup is done, resulting in a stun and saving the survivor.
The killer cannot look away during this time as they are animation locked. The animation lock is what's used to ensure you get the blind to land.

The core of what I'm trying to say here, is that a killer should almost never get blinded when they aren't stuck in an animation.

you kind of have to search the map and use your intution, listen for its distinct sound.

you should always be faster than the last survivor at full speed but sometimes you get unlucky and it spawns near them

pay attention to their offerings, maybe someone brought a brown offering that makes the hatch spawn in shack or main building or something

and if you're already on the last survivor's ass you might be able to knock them before they get a chance to find it anyways

Here, I'll give you a tiny tidbit of old DBD knowledge for the hell of it.

Long ago, there was a set of offerings to affect the moon itself. You could make the entire map slightly lighter or darker (changing the phase of the moon), and this stacked with specific offering combinations. https://deadbydaylight.wiki.gg/wiki/Moonlight

There are one or two extremely niche situations where it might be useful

You should see what they look like on eyrie of crows

The clouds are oddly dark and hard to see through on Eyrie. Stack them with a full SWF and maybe try some aura hiding goofiness.

Basic offering advice,
If you really want a specific map to help with a specific challenge/quest, bring that offering
Otherwise, just bring your biggest BP boost

Each petrified oak is +1meter between hooks.

Killer petrified oak is -3.5meter between hooks

Yeah but it caps out at +1m from the base, so extra oaks only have a purpose of the killer takes them too

That's kind of surprising. The main loop on that map is so easy even I can do it reasonably well at this point.

It's tiny size, strong 3 gen ability, and only having 2 tiles iirc (might be 3) makes the map quite killer sided. Only strength it has is the main building and that's not good either if the killer breaks 2 of its walls

Depends on place. Main building is infinite loop. If killer never goes there or knows what walls to destroy it's very killer sided

So, this is something I didn't see out of that guide I was linked earlier. Do I want to break every door on that main other than the one on the ground floor at the stairs? What about the upstairs door?

Destroy walls close to windows

Always break the door at the top of the main rooms stairs, break the wall at the bottom floor main room window if you have spare time, break the gambling room wall if you want to try and cut them off at main later but it's not necessary, and never break the generators wall or the dressing room wall it's never with the time

After couple chases there's no more pallets and only 6-7 windows. So deadzones are pretty easy to make.

is there a list on how much offerings effect eachother? for example petrified increases hooks slightly but putrid decreases hooks distance considerably
is there like a token system like slightly is 1 token and considerably is like 3 tokens and they cancel eachother out? how does the math work

it does say the numbers on the wiki but not ingame i believe. a petrified oak increases the spawn radius of hooks to each other by 1m, and a putrid oak reduces it by 3.5m

With Plague should I start the match by just trying to infect as many objects and survivors as possible or should I immediately go for corrupt purge and try to down survivors?

infecting things for information and easy health states is the way to go. You only start with 1 corrupt (except for addons) so if survivors never cleanse, thats all you get. you wanna make sure it has value

As above said infect everything for information, some survivors will also cleanse straight after being infections therefore providing you more corrupt which you can use throughout the match when needed
