Practice basic shooting, dribbles, air dribbles, like 40% of time into defense, recoveries and just overall consistency.

Do replay analysis once you lose a game when you don't know why you lost, first try to do it on your own and watch videos on what to look for and if it doesn't work ask another person to do it

Mechanically, avoiding the demo in a 2v1 leaves the net open (im not a fan of 1s) game sense and playing for the easiest win is always the strategy that works. And im okay with it, if i ranked any higher the bumps and demos would be even harder to avoid and its not a enjoyable way to play the game for me.
