I’m currently a Silver player and I’m really close to Gold, with the goal of hitting Gold 3 soon. I’ve been grinding ranked and improving, but I feel like I’m missing a few things that are holding me back.

I’m not looking for full-on coaching, just someone who can help me a bit, give tips during games, and maybe point out what I should be doing better while we play. I think I learn best by actually playing rather than just watching videos.

D3 Div4 peak, any tips for working on consistency? I have a good layout for rotations, ground game, car control, and general game sense. I use wave dashes, speed flips, half flips, speed aerials n all that basic stuff as needed regularly but not sure as to why I can’t hit champ. I’ve got about 280hrs of playtime so far, not sure if that’s good or not for where I’m at.

Aerial wise I’m mostly a passer and support player, most mechs I use air wise are just double taps. I’m mostly ground game I.e flicks, ball control, etc. I’m assuming resets is what you’re highlighting?

whilst resets are great, you should focus on consistency and speed of air dribbles and double taps, and also focusing on your flick consistency, once you can do 90kph+ flicks nearly consistent your ground game will be good enough for gc.
id say start learning resets once you are champ for the most efficient use of time for ranking up

im not great at it, but i would suggest you start by breaking it down into two sections when you practice. The lift and the carry. Focus initially on being able to lift the ball higher than it is while air dribbling. Then once thats a bit more comfy focus on being able to carry it across the field without losing that height.
