tbh, the biggest thing for newer players is just to play the game, there isn't any trick really that can help you with the very basics. after you feel you reach a suitable level and start aerialling etc, you should look up a tutorial on fast aerials and half flips and you should be set

C1 3s is such a cluster
You just have to be consistent and get better at forcing mistakes. Youll have a mix of good and bad players
Focus on the good players and punish when the bad ones make mistakes

This is also true with your teammates, trust one whos good but cover for the one that is bad
