Please note these are meant to be quick reference sheets. For more information on talents, gear, rotations, and more, check the #dps-faq and visit your favorite guide.

Slayer vs Colossus
Slayer has better single target and it's generally easier to hit spread out adds with Bladestorm, though Demolish can deal quite competitive damage if they're in a tight group in front of you.
Colossus is better for the rare council fight where two or three targets are constantly in melee range.

Arms vs Fury
Fury beats the pants off Arms in everything except the once per expansion melee-cleave fight.

Arms Raid Builds

It is highly recommended to visit one of the #dps-faq guides for the most up to date builds, but these should get you started nonetheless.

Slayer Single Target Talents - Everything else
CcEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAzMzsMzMzMDAAAghphxYmxyMzMzgxMDAAAAgZWmZAZMWWGYBMgZYCZGsBMjNz2YwMGgZGAmxwA

  • Cleave can be taken for extra add damage, but investing fully into multitarget severely reduces single target capabilities, while most raid adds don't stay alive long enough to warrant it.
Colossus Cleave Talents - Lightblinded Vanguard
    CcEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgZmxsMzMzYGAAAghphZYmxyMzMzgxMDAAAAgxmZglYAbmxwGMwMajGDWAmxmZbwsZ2GMzAAmZGGA
  • Cleave should be used on cooldown when hitting three targets, or as a lower priority filler above Slam and Execute when hitting only two.

Talent Swaps

  • Stance Mastery is an extremely powerful defensive cooldown, as long as you're actually using Defensive Stance. Generally swap Barbaric for it as needed.
  • Either Fearless or Piercing Howl needs to be taken for effective pathing, but both are highly situational, so barring any specific circumstance, just take whichever you prefer.
