Both fury and arms are very gear dependant to be a viable option but for early game, Arms is better and then fury once you are closer to the armor pen cap which is 1400.

Until then just check out some YouTube guides since messing up the statting on your prebis isn’t really that big of a deal (everyone wears their own armour class, and if you can read your talents and google in wowhead[to check spell coefficients] you should be able to get about 90% of the way to optimal)

If you get mjolnir's runestone instead of darkmoon you don't have to gem as aggressively as long as you keep your ArP around 650ish. Personally I always prefer capping my hit and expertise even if it might be an overall slight DPS loss. It's pre-raid BiS anyway so your stuff is gonna get replaced pretty quick.

Been trying to understand this as I did the same, but is there any advantage to not macro MS with zerker in case you're over 75 rage to prevent wasting resources? Currently while leveling I'll use HS before MS if I'm over 75 to prevent wasting rage but sometimes it misses and now I sit with full rage and can't dump before switching stances. Does this problem just go away when you get hit cap?

since it doesnt function on the same gcd akin to other versions of classic you just macro berserker stance into every ability provided it doesnt require battle

and bstance (again, in cata) is 5% dr and 5% dam while zerker is 10% dam

so def not better for damage at least

C: Ignore the overpower proc timing out and using Mortal strike anyway (then wait for the next oportunity to double overpower). D: Something else im not thinking of? 🙂

in aoe overpower, thunderclap, and cleave are pressed often but cleave is used as a dump, or in tandem with deadly calm

as long as tclap is on cd, I personally just go into single target rotation with sweeping up

the only time you want to send sweeping and bladestorm itogether s when you wont get a full, good use of the other

so if the pack wont last 10s beyond bladestorming, then you can send sweep with it, though personally i just tend to hold the sweep and use it on the next pack unless its a single target encounter

Not much use for macros (I haven’t found the need to use them)

Arms/fury have more macros for stance dancing due to abilties requiring stances

You mean if you should play arms or fury as your dps spec? Go with what your like but currenty Arms is outperforming Fury by a significant margin. Both are perfectly viable options so play what you like! Fury is a very intenstive playstyle where you have to smash buttons insanely fast and pray for good RNG, and arms is more chill and gives slow but massive burst attacks. If you like higher numbers on your screen i say go for arms 😄

the only real difference is 1/3 incite and 2/2 Blood and thunder VS 3/3 incite and it really just depends on do you want slightly more single target, or do you want a large gain in sustained aoe dps

i saw some people using some macors for stance abilities. i have one that just switches to the other stance when pressing it so i can go back and forth. but i saw something like also switching stance + using some ability. is that better?

Also to really judge I’ll need a bit more info, but from my very limited info on a details breakdown it just looks like you are missing globals by just not pressing something on every gcd

But I can’t really tell, if anything make sure to keep ms on cd and pressing overpower as much as possible you don’t want to miss a use of it

as a quick gloss over, it seems you arent quite pressing something on every global, arms has very little to no downtime atm, also on chimaeron specifically your deadly calm usage caused you to miss a usage of the cooldown can keep looking for more but those stuck out at a quick glance

also if the debuff is already present MS > CS

same thing if still stacking slaughter

generally, you can just kinda mortal strike > colossus and itll do you well no need to really think about it, its what I do

mortal strike is your most important button outside of execute

and its every 3rd ability

so the rotation kinda boils down to Mortal strike -> filler -> filler -> Mortal Strike

in place of filler can be slam, colossus, overpower

whatever the prio list dictates of those 3 at the time is good

if you want an example of this, I can link you a log I did on the day before, where on omnotron defense, I had more casts of almost everything than you did with a variance of 4 seconds, and 10k dps between our kills.

though I will say some of the damage difference was made up in raid buffs bc I was in 25m for this, while your raid is 10

so its not as big of a difference as it sounds
